9-6 Yeah this past week was a meh week. Unless it's the week where he has the big fall that is soooo coming his well-deserved way, any week that centers on Billy is going to suck. I don't care that he's mad at Adam. I don't care how much Chelesa begs for his forgiveness so he feels like a big man. Any 'man' whom only storyline is that focused only on putting his last name on an established company and throwing tantrum about it ain't worth my time. Right now, it is very much throwing things at the wall to see what sticks again. Le sigh. That said there were a FEW things I liked. For one, like I was telling @NothinButAttitude, I was loving that Chance got a POV and then he started to get into it with Billy. I wished that he had figured out that the real reason for Billy's latest tantrum was his drama with Chelesa, but he got pretty close. And I LOVED him reminding Billy HIS name is on the company as well. And lest I forget to say I also love that NO ONE is taking Billy changing the name seriously. And so it begins...Sharon going off the rails. She was reading Daniel and Heather down. And I know she will keep on doing it so excited. I was just thinking that I'm surprised Faith has not mentioned to Nick that Sharon told her she was seeing Cameron, but it looks like she might have mentioned it. Outside of that, nice angle of JM's bubble on Friday during Sharon going off on Lucy at Society. That's all I got. lol. He ain't the only one. 😜

Idk. Ava did slap the taste out of her mouth when she found out Esme slept with Nik. Very. Yay. Very. I felt for a moment that they were aiming for a 'it's okay to be yourself' storyline with the first scenes with the teacher, but I am a few days behind so not sure what's going on. Yet.

You are totally right. Which is why I was annoyed with the New/Old Writers when they started to write Ava as Whiny Ava again. As if Ava NEVER picked up a gun. Oh, I was talking about THIS. Playing catch up on last week and I hollered during the Chance vs Billy scenes when Chance not only called Jill behind Billy's back, but reminded him Chancellor was HIS name and ON the building thus reminding Billy of HIS birthright. I thought of you and what you said above cuz...this was just after the episode before where Chance was talking to Summer about his feelings over this mess. And even he poked fun at the name change in this episode. If there had to be a name change...which there did not need to be and it is only for Billy's ego, not Jill's...it should have been Chancellor-Abbott which looks better than Abbott-Chancellor anyway.

Well, thank you for the upcoming clips I saw last night. Outside of Chance appearing to stand up for himself with Billy...nothing has been going on this past week. HOWEVER, the upcoming clips has some juicy drama going that I will soldier on. Cuz we know I'm always here for a READ. Awww I enjoy seeing them. I'm always here for that one good no-drama couple. But I do feel there's so much more they can do with Chance. Especially since the writers are finally doing so much with Summer. Amen. Those were the days. And even when there is a good idea like the original Takeover story that brought back Tucker and also gave Nate a personality...it had so much underlining tension because while Nate whined it was about Devon not giving him control and Devon saying otherwise, the drama was REALLY about the fact Devon never forgave Nate for sleeping with Elena and Nate never forgave Devon for ending his doctor career. And both actors played that subtext every chance they got. Add on memories of Neil...and that was a potential good story that grew slowly. In fact, I dare to say that the best JG business stories have been with the Winters. So much so that JG recycled the basic story for this latest mess with Billy. And even that had legs once it was revealed that Lily was playing everybody. But alas...JG just gets tired too quickly...which brings me back to the beginning of this paragraph. A good idea, but boredom sets in with the head writer. Because characters switching jobs ain't it. I will always say Chance was best as a cop. Because every soap needs that good guy/hero character on the canvas.

Yeah say what you want about Ric...and there is a lot to say from clips of his run I've seen...he is always moving story, Rick Hearst is a great actor as well as a fox, and Ric's love for Liz is always there in everything he does. Outside of power or revenge of course. Hollering, but so true.

The boat entrance. The Black AmEx. The way she could gather these hoes. The aspirational wealth and how it made me feel. And she always came across authentic. She was THE housewife. I'm getting upset just think about it. Especially after that cute video that Guerdy posted of their friendship. Lord...let me take a breath. Though I understand given the death of her father and the delivery of her baby early, she understandably needs the time to herself. I really hope so.

I think for me...it was the fact that it was organically done with Sonny and Anna. And if I remember correctly, they were both at interesting crossroads. And later on, there was a strong potential in a Sonny/Nina/Val/Anna quad given the history among all four of them. So I wouldn't have mind...and that was back when I liked both Sonny/Nina and Val/Anna. I was actually sad...but also excited...when PM came in and went for Sonny vs Anna because of how close they had grown over the last few years that them against each other had stakes. Yeah, I would love for them to leave it there with Anna and Jason. But definitely seems like they are planning SOMETHING. What it is is ??? I don't know.
