  1. I'd rather have the other Kelly back and that's saying a lot for me.
  2. Why should Frank be? The woman asked to be killed off for good because she was never, ever coming back and begged for her job back a year later lol. She's lucky Steve has flopped. I am surprised Frank even brought KT back considering he's still holding a grudge against Vanessa for whatever happened 12 years ago lol.
  3. KT did just fine at what she was hired to do. Be the spoiler in the Patrick/Sabrina/Robin situation. The heavy. The one note villain. Sometimes these characters can be worth keeping and evolving. Britt was not that character and KT was not that actress. The amount of backstory, family, friends, development Frank gave her was unnecessary. She should have been gone after the Patrick story. So, sure, 8 years after she should have left Britt was interesting with Jason. That's not enough to bring her back from the dead and bring her family back. EOB probably would be good as Britt. I don't think she and Steve shared any scenes on Days.
  4. Realistically both Steve AND Mo look good for their ages compared to most people in the world. Have they aged and made questionable aesthetic choices? Absolutely. Steve's physique at least makes me believe he could put up a good fight. We've seen Steve/Jason do deadpan and straight man comedy with people like Spinelli, Brenda, Maxie even Carly at times. It's not a new aspect of Jason's character. Britt's not bringing some special side out of Jason. KT's delivery as cold, bitchy Britt isn't revolutionary or unique. Like others have said that's her only personality trait and only range. I would have recast as well if I thought the character was needed, which I obviously don't. KT's saving grace is that she has actual chemistry with Steve. That's it. That's all the character brings.
  5. Just because it's happened before (rarely) in real life doesn't make the story any better.
  6. Lol! I almost said Emily and then thought of Natalia Livingston and thought maybe not? But I am sure the show could find a suitable recast and a wacky Cassadine explanation for her non-death.
  7. I am the first person to say killing off Georgie was a mistake, but what does she have to do with any of this? She's not relevant. Lol. If anyone should have waltzed back into the hospital back from the dead it should have been AJ.
  8. I thought the show was angling for Dante/Brook Lynn with the Gio situation, but Dante and BLQ couldn't appear less interested in one another romantically. I know Frank loves BLQ/Setton for whatever reasons, but with Maxie/Sasha gone I don't see why Lulu can't lead stories too? Lulu has several options for story so she doesn't even have to be heavily in Brook Lynn's orbit if Frank is worried about Setton losing focus. It's very silly to spend MONTHS looking for the right Lulu, getting a great recast in Havins, killing off Sam, and then not reuniting Dante and Lulu. They aren't even any obstacles in their way like other partners or misunderstandings.
  9. I have never been a big Lulu champion or fan, but I don't get why people find her and Dante so unlikeable and smug? Dante was OTT with the Gio stuff and Lulu can be pushy and obnoxious. They still have every right to protect their son from Obrecht and Britt. They are dangerous criminals that violated Dante and Lulu's rights and stole their embryo. The dialogue and attitude they are giving Lulu and Dante doesn't bother me because I feel like it's just an obvious attempt to make us feel bad for poor, misunderstood Britt. As far as the stall with Lulu/Dante as a couple it is strange. Sam's been dead for almost a year and Lulu/Dante don't appear to be any closer to rekindling a relationship. Neither character has been positioned or tested with anyone else so there isn't a reason to at least start building the romance back up slowly.
  10. Dr. O slapping the crap out of Britt was the best part of the episode lol Second best was when Jason shooed Carly out of Anna's office, totally ignoring her. I am way more concerned about them finding Outback than I am about anything Britt has done while she was gone.
  11. Too many unbelievable things happened today. 1. I 100% agree with @j swift. The Solana story was even worse than AC's acting. Why on earth would a normally responsible mother not only forget to bring her child to daycare, but then forget she was there entirely, walk into work, and then proceed to work for 20 minutes? Schedules change all the time and I assume she put the child into the car and children aren't generally silent. And, again, I don't know why we need this story on top of the very legitimate reasons Javi wouldn't be able to adopt to begin with. 2. Holly just dropping Rachel, of all children, back off at school before calling Rachel's brother or father and apparently without even informing a teacher or the principal. 3. Rachel's uber and jail trip for the 2nd time 4. Tate's inability to read any social cues and see Sophia is obviously lying and horrible at it. Melinda really should have gone over the story with Sophia much better. Sophia can't even answer simple questions. 5. Johnny being a teacher at all. At least Rafe and Steve were being intelligent today.
  12. Thank you! Chandler can continue making his sporadic, smirky, rare appearances on Days. A lot of the material might drag if you are that far behind, but as a day to day soap I think you are getting a lot more character development and interesting scenes about character perspectives and lasting, real emotions like Julie, Maggie, and Marlena's continued discussions about grief, Xander's talking about his anger issues, and Brady talking about trying to live up to John's legacy. It feels much less gimmicky than it has in years.
  13. True. Most of these vets have been fired once or twice and/or the show was about to be cancelled so they work for their money lol and it's obvious most of the vets truly care about their characters and the show.
  14. Phillip just mentioned his leg a few weeks ago. Theo hasn't been on consistently over the years, but I feel like the show has always mentioned it.
  15. I know some people think the show is boring and I get that because some shows do drag. I think the new regime is helping the characters have more nuance and giving us genuine emotions. It's not, well, Marlena gets kidnapped again and John has to save her and plot stunts. Characters are describing their feelings and motivations which is a welcome, grounded change. It's far from perfect, but I see improvement.
  16. Tamara is my favorite Carly too! Although I appreciate SJB. I will say Laura Wright always entertains me regardless of what I think about her portrayal, which makes her a step above 70% of the cast. 😂 I think she's made Carly her own using her personal strengths and talents whether it's the right fit for the character or not. I would never have taken Carly in that direction though.
  17. I honestly wish Joss would take a long trip to visit her father lol. LW's Carly is basically an iteration of Carly I have just come to accept. I am no Carly fan either and I can't ever see SJB playing this version of Carly, but LW does seem to give it her all.
  18. Scheming rich girl is what Joss always should have been. I have no idea why the show went with heroine for her.
  19. The only time I have ever liked Britt was when she said she hated Jason's tattoos today.
  20. Ric previously locking Carly in the Panic Room. A full circle thing.
  21. I swear I have seen JPS with facial hair that was normal. I really assumed he was using it for a role or was in between filming something else that day. With the scenes GH showed, I don't think JPS necessarily even had to be on the GH set. It would be great if "goofy mustache" was a JPS random character choice for Valentin. Chris McKenna is growing on me slightly. Brennan is still a nothing character and can go anytime. I know Brennan does interact with several characters, but he always seems so isolated from the rest of Port Charles in that office. Brennan also comes off as incompetent. He appears to screw up more often than he gets things right.
  22. I really don't have a problem with it either, but any place that employs Charlotte as a counselor is a little suspect, IMO.
  23. I think the idea is fine, but I thought it was a charity thing. For underprivileged kids. Not for a Cassadine heir, a multi-millionaires kid, or a Congressmen's daughter. I genuinely thought it was fake. It's not? Lol
  24. Lol! I saw her today and almost thought it was the same actress, but I didn't hear 'PAPA' uttered incessantly so I realized it was a slight improvement. The one-two punch of a Charlotte/Valentin return was not ideal. My only hope is that Britt will get blown up in 59 mins from her ankle monitor lol. Honestly, though, today was a decent show considering I hate like 90% of the characters featured.
