Totally forgot Joss killed Cyrus lol. And, yes, Joss will probably get hurt being stupid and Carly will be furious. They need to make Carly/Brennan seem a lot more into one another for me to pretend to try to care. This breakup will be even less anticlimactic than Carly/Drew's lame breakup.

They are barely on together. It's not even a problem for Carly. She has a lot going on with her family. He's totally unnecessary and the entire relationship has stalled out. They aren't serious so how devastated is Carly truly going to be when she finds out about Joss Superspy?

How I wish the show would bring back A.J. There are so many places he could fit into the canvas currently. He is an afterthought. He's not integrated into the show at all. He spends most of his time talking to Joss and Vaughn.

I don't see much long-term future with the pairing either. I agree they do have chemistry, but I can't see it working for years or being the next big Jason romance. Britt by herself is such a limited character and KT has no range. If anything, I see KT lingering on a few years post-Jason much like Sam did in the background. Unless, of course, Kelly decides to up and quit FOR GOOD again. Believe me, it's not a pairing I like. But it's GH's default especially since neither have had any luck with other love interests lately.

I always assumed the original plan was to try Brennan with Anna. The confidence Korte or whoever had/has that Jarly will work now with the same actors when it flopped the first time is just bold. And then you kill Sam off (fine by me!), but when Jarly flopped again, Jason and Carly were out of options, and they had to hire KT back and throw Carly with dayplayer. I suppose they will eventually just put her back with Sonny.

I would love to know what happened with Mesure. Hadn't he just signed a contract? Maybe something better came along. I have always heard positive things about McKenna on OLTL, but I get nothing from him on GH. I really thought he was a placeholder until they could write out the character. I actually didn't know he was a buddy of Frank's. He could be here for the next 7 years now lol. But the show really needs to figure out something to do with Carly and Brennan isn't it.

Agreed. I don't see any viability in Chris McKenna as Brennan. McKenna seems like a nice guy and good for him for getting a contract, but he has no chemistry with Wright, isn't terribly charismatic, and the character is a dud. Plus, he is not the typical male actor Frank would keep around for years and years. I feel like Brennan is time waster until the show figures out what to do with Carly.

I don't hate Alex. He's okay. It's more the RSW favoritism that's annoying.

I think there are a couple of factors to this. Stephanie was grouped with Abby, Morgan, Chelsea, Melanie, etc and they were all swapping love interests regularly. Stephanie really didn't have a standout romance then left town. That stunted some of her character's progression. She'd have 3 kids by now if she stayed in Salem lol. The second factor is your point. Stephanie feels like she morphs her interests to fit her boyfriend at the moment and doesn't have a definitive personality. While Hennig/Stephanie was popular, characters like Abby, Chelsea, and Melanie got more attention from the writers that helped shape their personalities. Currently, Stephanie gets a lot of writing, but none of it is very good and becomes muddled with all the pivots in backstories, hobbies and career shifts. I don't mind a single woman without children in her mid 30's leading story. It's a nice change. Unfortunately, she still hasn't had a standout romance and the show has tried her with quite a few guys. She comes off more flakey than a woman with her own agency and independence.

Shayna Rose is 41 Shelley Hennig is 38 Abigail Klein is 36 I think Shayna Rose's adult race car driver Stephanie was slightly de-aged to make Hennig's Stephanie a college student, but I think she's basically aged in real time as well. Mid 30's sounds right. Stephanie burned through a lot of story and boyfriends so it seems like she should be older, but Days during that time had all those young girls with multiple serious love interests, wanting to be married and settle down at 22 lol.

I would hope the show cleans Jeremy up a little bit. I thought that was such a bad take on a Horton and Mike's only son. I was thinking the show might connect Alex's illegal activities to Jeremy's when they were both younger.

It's always looked awful, limply hanging there or oddly styled. I don't necessarily dislike Liz/Jason. I prefer them to Jason/Sam when those wars were going on, but I never felt strongly either way. Don't worry my board profile pic stays til Vanessa comes back lol.

I don't think she's even changed it once since she started 12 years ago. I thought she was 40 back then lol. Hope dies last. That's why I still pretend the show will bring Brenda back one day.😂 The fact that fan base is so crazy probably makes reality easier to ignore though.

I left the Gay Icon part out because you and I never believed that was true. I have seen how she styles her hair!! The thing is while it was a ridiculous set up by Ron I actually was rooting for Britt at first. Mostly because the writing was slanted against her so badly and Sabrina was so annoying. I also assumed both Sabrina and Britt would be gone 2 months after Kim returned, but I guess Britt hung on even with Kelly constantly quitting. I know, I know- Steve. I would rather they put Jason back with Liz now that Lucky's gone.

KT is an icy actress and it works in certain scenarios. The character nor the actress inspire much sympathy, and KT isn't charismatic enough to pull off lukewarm writing. Spending an entire episode watching her throw a tantrum over not getting a beer and seafood outside instead of in her room comes off childish and petty. I don't see Britt as a victim, but the show has piled things on to her to make her likeable (incurable illness, Jason😑). She's more likeable as a schemer. Add that with all the exposition we are getting from everyone about Britt and I am already over it. This is the return of a B list character, not Robin Scorpio.

I wish Willow/Drew/Michael were on today. Believe me, I never thought I would type those words lol. Too many people talking about Britt today and I still don't care. Can't Britt literally open the door of her room, step outside, and call an uber or walk? She's not locked in and already made it to Paris on her own. And Alexis's assistant having a crush on Sonny? Blah. I found the entire show pretty boring. Lucas/Felicia were nice though.

Yes, you are right. I got the Brady, Belle, Paul order confused. Paul was conceived post-Maison Blanche, but Tori found out she was pregnant while John was a priest. So John got Isabella, Marlena, Tori, and Kristen in around 4 years lol.

I mean he should be chronologically, but he was paired with younger guys so I always thought he was more Will's age than Belle/Brady's. Which Will was born a year or so after Belle so who knows?

I really liked MW's Kate. She was probably the last love interest I liked for Sonny. The recast was a mess though.

At the time I remember the show making it very clear they didn't grow up together, weren't blood related, and Alexis basically kept Kristina away from Michael/Sonny/Carly, so it could have happened. Especially if Michael decided to move more into the Q fold. Drew Garrett and Lexi had some chemistry. I am sure it would have been a disaster but it would have been a memorable disaster unlike whatever happened during James Franco's run.

I agree with Chloe, but she could always be Phillip's endgame so I do consider that. I think all John/Marlena/Roman's kids seem the same age lol-except Paul- who does seem younger.

All makes sense. Franco really derailed the show that year. I would have been at least interested to see MB's take on Valentin, as I am sure the role was completely different than whatever we have now. It was a mistake not to bring Zoe or even a few other teens on. It was odd to me they just aged Kristina and Michael, so the two of them basically only interacted with one another in their age bracket. That's why the audience thought they might go there with Kristina/Michael lol.

I liked them too when Eileen came back as Kristen. I never thought they were endgame though. Kristen definitely needs a fresh start preferably not in Salem lol. She just looks pathetic running after Brady at this point.

I think the problem with Brady is the show spent WAY too much time trying to make him/Kristen some sort of endgame. The show has given Brady so many love interests as well that you end up with Brady being 50, single, and living with his mom, sister, and his kids lol. John, Bo, Steve, etc were all well established with their endgame pairings by 50. I'd prefer him with Chloe, but I'd take Theresa.

My point was that Brenda is the original-the others were replacements. Although I don't put Claudia in that category at all. Even though SJB was playing a second character I thought Claudia was fairly original. She was more similar to Faith than any of Sonny's previous love interests. Agreed. It would be a great time to explore Rory's chemistry with new love interests. It doesn't appear he's the chemistry vacuum Chad was. I still wonder how far a long they got with casting Zoe. I remember the character being mentioned in interviews and on the show, but never appearing. I suppose Guza ditched the idea early on when he really couldn't figure out what to do with Maya.
