Lol! GH has tried to sell me less believable things

Fair enough. I honestly don't have a strong attachment to Abby in general, but I vastly prefer Mansi to Miller in the Abby game. I have always assumed Abby would come back because it's Days lol I don't think Lucas and Nathan were close, but Lucas mostly lived off screen, so who knows lol? They could have hung out together all the time without us knowing.

I don't think anything happened with Mansi and Ron specifically, but Ron seemed to hate the character of Abby. Allegedly ALM was truly supposed to be Abby but after the writer's strike Ron changed his mind. I had high hopes for Kristina as well, but it seems like Abby is just a better fit for her and more needed on Days. I wouldn't have minded a brief Lucky/Kristina hook up either. The show just wrote her so far into the corner and I don't think Mansi helped. Her issues with the Blaze pairing seemed to tank a lot of story-even if Blaze was a day player.

Days should really just bite the bullet and re hire Mansi as Abby. Ron's gone. We can just work that whole situation out even without Flynn.

With my luck KA would be Brenda's unknown twin or something to spite me. I prefer Carnes as well. I like Van, but it's like two different Lucas's.

PM was definitely teasing Ava/Sonny more. I have never thought Nina/Sonny were entirely off the table, but the writing hasn't given us much.

I always felt JER made KA's Billie sluttier and sexier than was necessary, but that's for another thread. Billie became more a victim with soft core torture porn on Days. She was writhing around on a bed, heavily pregnant in real life, coming off heroin for weeks. It was a lot. I have only seen a handful of scenes of her as Taylor and I am not a real watcher of B&B. I still think she has enough spark to play off a half comatose Mo at this point though lol. As long as she's not a cop, DA, FBI agent, etc, etc.

Alexa Havins as Lulu? But I think Krista is good. She's just had tough shoes to fill everywhere. Building her own character would be great to see for her.

Same it seems like the obvious thing to do instead of trying to create a rando pairing with Sidwell's wife, but that's probably Frank's doing. Make DA a thing.

Molly Burnett was an untapped star. They used her so poorly. All the time, but not well lol. Tate is Brady's son with Theresa (Jeannie) Donovan Holly is Daniel's child with Nicole Allie is Johnny's twin with Sami/Lucas (different dads, I know) Belle's child is Claire, who was aged way too soon, with Shawn-D. I think the show could do a lot more with Chanel. RB is great and she's stuck in this mid pairing with Johnny. She's sexually fluid so she could be paired with a lot of people, but she's stuck wanting to be a mommy.

I agree with you. Days hangs on old supercouples for years and years without developing new ones. As crass as this is to say, Marlena and John are done because Drake passed, Doug/Julie are done for the same reason. Bo/Hope are out there somewhere. Jack/Jen make a few guest appearances, and Kayla and Steve are duller than dirt. Belle and Brady were never developed in the way they should have been because their parents would carry the story weight. But, God forbid, any of the three main ladies (Julie, Malena, Maggie) are ill or have to leave the show for whatever reasons, who leads? Ari Zucker and Ali Sweeney are long gone. Christie Clark left acting. So who is the next person in line? Belle has failed for years, so Stephanie? Maybe Godfrey's Sarah? That's a bleak outlook.

Oh, boy. I am going to argue Ben/Ciara. That couple had a lot of buzz and I don't want to talk about it. I do think EJ/Sami were very popular, but I think it was most fangirls lusting after James Scott. I can't even hate that. He is a very handsome guy lol.

Lol. I was just thinking of all Melissa's love interests in general. The dancing with Pete and Lars. So 80's cheese. I thought they sort of did Emillio dirty. He wasn't abusive until 5 mins before he died. But I also didn't care much about him either. I might be interested in Chanel being buried in donuts. Lol. Vivian just getting her homicidal kicks out haha.

I think Carly/Bo, Isabella/John, and Jack/Jen were the bright spots in that era. But the show kept trying to make things like Molly/Tanner or Melissa/whoever work lol.

I don't agree with this. Jeremy's past has been brought up. Jen literally had a car accident. She wasn't trying to kill Gwen lol Doug was a con man 50 years ago and has passed away. Nick is dead Jack raping Kayla was brought up in not so many words two days ago. I actually like Cat and think ALM is really good, but Jen and Jack not wanting to forgive her is up to them. We live in a Salem world where Dimera's get off free for everything and you're being petty about some basic Horton crimes? That's kind of ridiculous.

Ha! Britt needs a suite at the Metro Court provided by Joss because that wouldn't raise any red flags. Nina's penthouse is worth nothing because Britt might actually have to explain a few things. Is Britt even paying rent at Kelly's? I thought Jason was taking care of it. Britt has an actual job so, Idk, find an apartment? She's a Dr. I don't know why she's having to depend on others at all times. Sonny being involved with a shady character would work for me. It would play into the "whore/angel" trope he's always had.

Any career that has some leeway besides law enforcement where your main job is to uphold laws lol. Also, Britt calling Jason to the hospital to tell him to leave her alone was such wacky soap logic. You actually made him come to see you, Britt. He's not stalking you or anything because no one would lol. Willow seems the most likely Drew shooter at this point.

Especially since you would expect them to be "smart" women. When you consider that Sonny told his own wife (Brenda) that he was addicted to power and would never leave the mob you can't take any of this seriously. Like, blowtorch your entire career to have a few nights with Sonny for him to say, "J/K, I am not serious about you, nor will I stop committing crimes. You are now compromised and can't prosecute me. How are the Hortons being hypocritical? I don't like the way Jen's being written, but it's her daughter Cat was impersonating, Thomas is clearly traumatized, and she can feel how she wants. It was a celebration of Missy's 40 years on the show, so I can leave it at that. I wish they'd give Flynn and ALM something better to do since they are both very capable.

It's my least favorite Sonny trope. Women that would jeopardize the careers they built their entire lives on just for the chance to sleep with him. Even in the 90's Sonny wasn't that charming. That's why I wish the show would keep him with women like Carly, Ava, Nina, etc. Woman that have some moral ambiguity.

Age gaps don't necessarily bother me especially when someone's age is vague. Ari's age isn't vague. She's 18, just graduated high school, and just started college. She's not only way younger than Theo, but her life experience is so different from Theo's. I know Ari is literally related to EVERYONE, but the show should at least acknowledge there's a huge gap there. Clearly, personally, I can get over an age gap. Sonny and Brenda are my favorite couple ever and she was 18 when he was 30, but they had chemistry and GH acknowledged she was young for Sonny. "Cannon based" age gaps are important to address to flesh out a believable relationship. But, hey, Theo and Ari haven't even gone on a date yet, so it might not matter at all.
