Abso-f-cking-lutely. Krista both resembled OG Taylor and had an essence about her that was right for the role. Bradley threw GOLD when he let her go. To find someone who can fit in an iconic role originated by one of the most beautiful women in the entire world... was nearly impossible... and Krista managed to do it. I still wish Rebecca a lot of luck, because she is going to need it, knowing the situation in this show and the future storylines Bradley is going to cook up for her. I think there is potential if they write her character as a disturbed ex from hell. It could be fun. Both Hunter and Krista had too much grace when it came to Brooke. I would actually love if this new version terrorized Brooke. BUT I will never see her as Taylor. It will be a new character for me when I watch her.

If he knew... and cared about... his audience even a little bit... then we'll not be where we are today - the show is an utter trainwreck - the past 2-3 years have flopped like never before, ratings are down with no signs of really turning around. I would think that if he knew his audience he would at least TRY to improve the show, stop the cringe storylines full of mints, toes and staplers... and DO something. And he would BRING Krista back or someone who FITS the characteristics of the legacy character - Taylor Hayes. Rebecca doesn't. She would have been million times better cast as a completely new character. I mean... except some bizarre facebook groups full of people who love whatever they watch, and a person here and there... most people are NOT ok with how the show is going.

In a way, I think Bradley has found a glitch in the system and he is using it. If he re-casts Taylor every two years forever... he can tell the same story with Bridge-breakup-Taylor-to-the-rescue... like every two years. He's done it to death (LITERAL death) with Hunter Tylo... Refreshed it with Krista who he kicked out as soon as he realized people prefer Ridge with Taylor... and now he's hired a woman who will probably spend all her time watching Brooke strip naked and cringe. Then in 2 years he can re-cast her again and write the same storyline. 🤣 She better be careful not to get that Emmy nom! 🤣
