  1. So, I've watched two episodes (i.e.: the third and fourth episodes of the first season) and, though I reserve the right to change my mind after watching the rest...

    1. Stevie J is the Sonny Corinthos of that show - a big fish in a small pond. Dude loves to bark and carry a big stick (whether it's trying to sweet-talk Mimi into taking him back or threatening to send Joseline back to the strip club), but he knows damn well that he wouldn't be able to get away with this fuckery happening in his own backyard - not in 2012.

    2. I'm trying to figure out if Joseline was born and raised in NYC and is now trying to force an ATL accent or if she spent her early life in NYC and moved down to ATL at some point with the latter accent rubbing off on her. Homegirl speaks with a mushmouth Boricua Southern accent that utterly fascinates and confounds me.

    3. Never thought that I'd ever see Buckey from FOL again, so it was weird to see her out of her original dating-competition-show element. Not sure if she's positioning herself to be another Joseline, but I'll tune in to see.

    4. Although Scrappy is trifling as sh!t for not clueing Erica in on what's what (while allowing Momma Dee to run his ass), I will say that his face does look better than mean-mugging Stevie's.

    5. I wish that Joseline'd been honest in saying that she'd chosen to have an abortion instead of whining about Stevie "forcing her to have one". I highly doubt that he's the only former NYC up-and-comer in that town, so to act as if it was a do-or-die/make-or-break choice falls flat to me.

    6. I keep hearing about K. Michelle being referred to as the Off-Keyshia Cole of ATL and well, I can't say that I agree for the simple fact that this chick can actually carry a tune. I've never heard a single song of hers and am not sure if she is/was somebody in ATL, but her showcase showed me that she actually has more talent than that bootleg MJB.

I do have two questions, though...

    1. Why doesn't Momma Dee like Erica and what does Buckey have to offer him that Erica doesn't?

    2. Why is K. Michelle considered "crazy"?

  2. Episode 1: Stevie J presents a new home to Mimi too far from Atlanta for her comfort. Do his studio sessions with Joseline involve more than just business? Scrappy tells Erica he isn't sure about their relationship. K.Michelle celebrates her birthday with Karlie, Mimi and Ariane, but the party becomes a war zone when Joseline and Stevie show up together looking like a couple.

Episode 2: Stevie tries to make up with Mimi, but she hits him right where it hurts -- his wallet. Joseline accuses Karlie of being a snitch and tells her she'll decide if and when Karlie can work with Stevie. Rasheeda and Kirk shoot a music video for her new single, but fight when Rasheeda arrives late to the shoot. Erica has a heart to heart with her mom about her relationship with Scrappy and their own painful past. Joseline takes a pregnancy test.

It's best if you watch the reunion lol tongue.png I can tell you a website where you can watch, if you want.

Thank you, Eric. I'd really appreciate it.

  3. ROTF! I can't stand that dummy!

He proved last night that he is best seen and should never be heard.

Peter thinks that he has arrived. He thinks that he is securing Cynthia's position by yelling like a bold Nene. As a matter of fact I am sure he said everything Nene would have said if she hadn't arrived. I can't stand husbands acting like housewives.

Nene acting like a huge star and above all the drama is a joke. Did you see her face when Kandi said something that upset her? She looked like an ungry gorilla but she couldn't say anything because she had arrived. Not impressed with her at all. If she hadn't become besties with Andy she would have been crucified on this show years ago.

    +1

  4. So, I've set my DVR for the marathon that is currently airing and have noticed that it doesn't include the first two episodes or the reunion for that season. Can someone fill in the blanks on what occurred so that I won't be lost when I watch the rest of the marathon?

    Thanks in advance.

  5. Glad that Phaedra put Kenya in her place yet again. Not glad to see Papa Smurf going in on Kenya, though.

rolleyes.gif @ that speechifying that Nene rambled on and on to Portia about. Chick is delusional if she thinks that the naysayers have garnered respect for her or the rest of the Black women on the show since then.

Poor Phaedra... so determined to marry and procreate with a light-skinded man with good hair that she's stuck with an unfaithful underachiever who has the intellect of a used condom.

  6. "Dark" isn't an adjective that I'd use to describe Wig or Sherry's presence on this show. Perhaps, trifling slore (Wig) or endearingly full of sh!t (Sherry), but not "dark".

Queen Vicky joining RHoATL would be my ultimate dream come true.

I'm assuming people would refer to the first two seasons as being "light and happy" when Danielle was the punching bag. It was still dark for me, but I floved me psycho Danielle. That b*tch left a stench on that show and they're still there (Kathy & Melissa--both who I like). Loved how Danielle baited Bravo, dropped the mic, and left the show still pulling strings.

I admit, I couldn't stomach Danielle when I'd watched in real time (since I'd allowed those other heifers to color my view of her), but I've since had a chance of heart since I've seen her in repeats. You're absolutely right about her being a shitstirring extraordinaire, as I can concede that she brought a vibe to the show that I miss. I'm not crazy about her and Crouching Hairline Hidden Forehead becoming buddies, but I'll put up with it if it means cracking Caroline's face in a million little pieces.

    Beaver's Ass LMAO!

I'd love for Caroline and Jacqueline's dirty laundry to finally be aired out, especially the twitterholic Jacq. I also would love it if it were exposed just how thirsty sis-in-law Melissa was to get on this show and the lengths she promised to go to to be relevant for the show.

I don't follow Jacqueline closely (far as I'm concerned, she's worthless and I sure hope that I don't see her disrespectful bint of a daughter on this show ever again), but I'm with you on having Caroline's ass being aired out to dry. She's been skating on being a (undeservedly) self-righteous bully for far too long and this season will be worthwhile if she is taken down by a million pegs.

  7. If only it was believable that her hate of Phaedra had to do with that and not to do with the fact that she is intimidated by the educated Phaedra (as well as the self-made Kandi) worked to attain their successful careers instead of having a precarious one that is based on being the flavor of the moment....

On another note, when is RHoNJ due to air anyway? I'm hoping that this is the season that that beaver's ass Caroline finally gets aired out as the stinky-sh!t bully that she always was, as I've never been able to stand her.

  8. This is Andy we are talking about... he wouldn't know suitable if it bit him in the ass.. though I blame that partly on his vision issues.

If you think about it, he really should be a cast member on these shows since he is the biggest [!@#$%^&*] stirrer of them all.

Of course he is. Still, I'm not buying that lie that he's trying to sell about useless ass Shanna being the best that he can find in a BH Housewife.

  9. Radar reporting Duchess Yolanda began filming for Season 4 last week and will be returning!!!!

Oh and Taylor is returning too...

My joy upon hearing about the Duchess' return has been dampened by Shanna's worthless presence.

Larva and especially Crusty were the reasons why I tuned out of RHoM in the first place.

  10. All that talk about how the arrival of the Qs / the Rick-Monica-Alan-Lesley quad was the true ratings booster for the show (and not L&L, who'd propelled it further upwards in the path to pop culture relevance) makes me wonder if anyone on YT has the complete Quartermaine story from 1977 (I presume that was the year when they rolled into town/were first introduced) to 2000. Since I hadn't known them at their dysfunctional worst (pre-1990, from what I've heard), I'd like to see how they'd gotten to where they were by the time that I'd met them (1992ish-1993).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  11. Personally, I can't stand Nene and it is blatant how much Andy Cohen favors her. If it were anyone else, she would have been kicked off the show after she tried to choke Kim on the tour bus. It doesn't matter what Kim did, or said, the fact that Nene tried to choke her should be grounds for automatic dismissal from the show. Same with Theresa on NJ when she lunged for Danielle in the season 2 reunion and pushed Andy out of the way.

    What you said.

Nene would lose against Lisa simply because Lisa would not engage her, that's how Nene wins her arguments, she is bigger (physically) and louder than anyone she goes up against so when they try to serve her, she is able to outshout them.

Lisa has too much money, too much success and too much style to bother with that kind of nonsense. Checkmate, bitch. Love Live The Queen.

    What you said x 2.

NeNe's friends are always Ladies she thinks she can dominate over, she doesnt do well with woman of equal stature or above LOL!

Which is precisely why I can't stand that bullying heifer and the way that Andy steers the show in her favor.

You can still be all that and be weak also. There is no way "arriving" NeNe thought Marlo wa asat her level, she specifically used Marlo because the other girls didnt like her, thats why she brought her on the trip, to cause the trouble that she would normally do but couldnt cause she was "arriving"; but played the referee when Marlo went all nutso like she is doing with Kenya. If tyhe girl had of befriended Marlo then yeah Nene and her wouldve butted heads like we all thought they wouldve.

    Pretty much.

  12. OK, I keep hearing about how great L&HHATL is and have finally been convinced to check it out (I tried to watch the original L&HH, but seeing Pig Pen for longer than 5 minutes made me nauseous). Do you know if they're airing a marathon of the first season (before the second season begins) and if so, when?

    Thanks in advance.

  13. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I miss Sherry's delusional ass. While some Housewives were a bit too aware of the cameras (looking at you, Phaedra and Kenya), Bob Whitfield's ex was blissfully, cluelessly, and consistently full of caca from beginning to end and I miss that on ATL.

  14. A major part of being a Queen is being able to acknowledge other folks' successes and being able to be genuinely happy for them without feeling the least bit threatened.

Andy may want to act as if the moose hadn't acted as ugly as she did towards Wig, Kandi, and Phaedra, but I never bought her "zen"/Big Sister Gorgeous One demeanor post-Season 4 for a second.

  15. Right now I am watching the last episodes of Season 3 ATL and once again I am reminded how furious Nene gets with everybody elses's projects and success. I watched Season 5 first and I thought she was ok, then Season 4 and I couldn't stand her stupid lines about being rich all the time (one of the trashiest things a person can do), or her carricature of a label-obsessed diva, or trying to hide her jealousy of Kandi as being offended by her projects. In Season 3 she nearly loses her mind on Kandi and Kim's bus and tries to make it all about her acting like a crazy person. She knows that Phaedra and Kandi existed successfully before the series and she can't forgive them for that. I guess she is a rather smart woman, but she has to realise that her biggest talents are her talking heads on RHOA and knowing how to make Andy and his friends laugh. And after "having arrived" thanks to a small part in a cancelled series nobody watched, I guess her opening line next year will be back "The dream is over - I have returned home-?

You've just summed up exactly why I haven't liked that moose since Season 1 and why I resent that Andy's allowed her to run roughshod over the other Housewives (yes, I include Wig in that group).

  16. I hadn't heard anything about her outside of RHOA, so that may be why I enjoyed her. I know when I read an article about her divorce there was tons of hate. On the show though, I grew to enjoy her quite a bit.

Most likely because the chatter had died down since she and Ed divorced (soon after her last season). The hate mostly had to do with her background as a con woman while having the nerve to throw stones (at Wig) and being two-faced about the other Housewives (save for Nene, whose ass she'd chosen to kiss) while pretending to be above it all.
