Neighbours is an all-year round soap now.

The sad thing is they have a pretty good cast in place. But as has been said, not even one single good storyline. No good couples, no good friendships. It really is awful.

I'm not that bothered about him not having a proper love interest yet. I think Moritz is a great character regardless, although it will be nice when they do get to that stage. I wonder if Nihat was the straight character they were going to explore that with?

Thanks Huntress, I might watch that. I had to laugh when Moritz was sick from smoking a cigar. Up to this point we've been led to believe he's this quite street-wise lad, so that storyline felt a bit at odds with his character.

That's good I used to really dislike Jonas but he's grown on me quite a lot. He can be quite comical. Stupid Erik for faking the break in at W&L.

Sunny's annoying.

I haven't watched this since Christmas but Phil and Kat are having sex? The show really has got bad Nearly every pairing is awful, Max/Linda, Phil/Kat, Honey/Jay. Nothing I hear makes me want to tune in.

If there's anything you missed that needs explaining I'm happy to, other than the above about why Moritz started selling stolen watches as I don't know what happened there. I've pretty much been constantly watching GZSZ to catch up. I just watched the final episode of December so January for me tomorrow! In terms of the storyline - Felix and Laura kidnapped Rosa and framed Moritz for it. They orchestrated it so that Jo would hide the 'evidence' against Moritz and used it all to blackmail Jo and Katrin into getting the business. But then Jo realised that Felix was behind the kidnap and got him to sign the business over to him. Yvonne is amazing!! She's my favourite character in the show, but I love Jo and Moritz too, and Emily. And Katrin, actually. The actress who plays Yvonne has been so good recently. I loved the episodes when Yvonne found out about Felix and Laura framing Moritz for Rosa's kidnap. And the confrontation between Yvonne and Laura was great. As if Laura had the hide to tell Yvonne she didn't need a mother like her. Moritz was stupid for getting involved in selling the stolen watches but I was glad Jo agreed to represent him and that things were sorted between Jo, Yvonne and Moritz for Christmas. Don't know if you've seen it but Nihat nearly got into trouble because the stolen watches Moritz was selling were found at the cafe by the police and Moritz hid the fact that they were his watches, so Nihat could have gone to prison. I imagine Nihat has distanced himself from Moritz since then maybe(?). If anyone could please explain what this return storyline is (with all those flashbacks etc) for Sunny please I'd be really grateful. I wasn't watching when she left I don't think. The less said about Eric the better I just find him so annoying. Eric and Jonas are easily the weakest characters in the show. I haven't seen this yet but I'm looking forward to it! Did you see the scene where she nearly got in the shower with John thinking it was Philip? Yuck, haha!

I love Moritz and Nihat's relationship. I wish they were together on screen more That moment when Jo realises Felix and Laura had set the whole thing up!! Jo and Katrin are a good double act, I loved seeing them figure out the truth together.

Thanks Huntress. I know no-one probably remembers (I'm watching November) but I feel like I missed something with Moritz. In the episode I just watched, he met up with someone who gave him a bag of watches to sell. What happened there? I don't remember seeing the guy before. Thanks in advance.

I get what you're saying. Elly and Chloe weren't necessarily a great story. Having said that, Neighbours is much better than EastEnders at the moment.

Elly left in July. Yeah, I loved the dance promo. Enjoyed Des Clarke's return this week and Amy Greenwood's return has been ok. Enjoying Clive and Jane as a couple too.

Max Bowden is probably a better actor, but I think Harry fitted the role of Ben better. I don't feel the role of Ben suits Max at all.

They should never have replaced Harry Reid. Ben used to be one of my favourite ever soap characters, now he's one of my least favourite of all time.

I agree with this. I loved the stuff with Denise and agree with the decision to recast Chelsea. Denise and the new Chelsea have good chemistry. Agree also that the story is ridiculous.

Jumped the shark is what I think. They've done this with Kush too. A character with potential who they just paired with any random woman they seemed to pick out of a hat rather than someone he'd probably be suited to like Ruby. None of the relationships seem to make much sense, like how Ruby would never have looked twice at Max or Martin. The Ian/Sharon thing is just the lowest of lows though. I'm not sure if I can remember a time when EE was structurally in such a damaging place in terms of its direction. At least in 2018 with crap characters like Aidan it was just rubbish new characters. Now they're destroying their originals.

I've just found out a way to stream GZSZ on my TV and I'm so happy!! I was using my chromecast before but I couldn't download the TV Now app. I've figured out a way to do it and I'm catching up on episodes I've missed since September! So happy!

I think the acting is worst in Hollyoaks by far. That's one of the worst shows for acting I've ever seen. I also think Coronation St is pretty bad for acting these days. For me Neighbours and EastEnders are generally on par, I can't comment on Emmerdale. Which country are you from? I know your username is FrenchFan, so are you from France?

I disagree, I think the acting on Neighbours is generally quite good. He is noticeably weaker than the other cast.

Haha, he was widely hated among the fanbase though, for being a terrible actor.

Why have they axed Kush? There are so many characters who should go before him. They always axe the good characters. They always wasted his character. How long before Ruby, Dotty and Bobby get axed?
