  1. Lois Robbins (Dr. Concetta D'Angelo Ryan/Ryan's Hope) is starring in an one-woman show L.O.V.E.R. that she wrote--

L.O.V.E.R. is the world premier of a new theater work from the creative mind and talent of Lois Robbins. It's a rollicking and poignant riff she describes to us as: A TALE OF LOVE AND LUST FROM A #GROWN-UP WOMAN'S P.O.V.

No stranger to the Schoolhouse, Ms. Robbins has previously appeared in "The Speed of Darkness" by Steve Tesich, and "A Time For Love" by David Shire and Lee Kalcheim.

L.O.V.E.R. is a fast-paced, sophisticated story of one woman's uncertain awakening to: "that crazy little thing called love..." Tender, honest, moving and very funny, it's a confessional as modern as HBO'S "Girls" but as ancient and subtle as "The Pillow Book"...Not to be missed!

_____________________________________________________________________________________The Schoolhouse Theater and Arts Center in Croton Falls turns up the heat this season with the world premiere of Lois Robbins’ one-woman show, “L.O.V.E.R. (Baring it All!)” on June 8. It’s a comic, poignant riff on love and lust from a grown-up woman’s point of view.

“L.O.V.E.R.” will run weekends through June 25. Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and at 3 p.m. Sundays at the Schoolhouse. Tickets are $38; $35 for senior citizens.

Thanks so much! I'm going through an ATWT watch on YouTube and I'll keep a look out for their names.

    You're welcome.

Here is a SON archives interview with Richard Backus-- where he talks about his acting and writing in the soaps

Really?! I had no idea. For which shows did they write? I'm so curious!

Trent Jones (Ken) - Ryan's Hope (scriptwriter 1982-1983), Search For Tomorrow, Guiding Light, As the World Turns, and Young & the Restless.

Richard Backus (Barry)- As the World Turns, One Life to Live, and Days of Our Lives.

  4. Catherine Hicks (Faith #3) in a brief 2017 video with her Child's Play co-star, Chucky, from their 1988 film Child's Play.

This was made by Catherine's husband, Kevin Yagher -- Kevin was the designer and executor of the Chucky doll

No problem. Sometimes I think we should make a list of how many ads she was in...

Commercials were  the only way to see her after she was off RH. Although I did catch her on the America''s Junior Miss pageant a couple times, too.

I never knew Bernie Barrow was in one of those unfortunate AYDS ads.

    Thanks!

After seeing the commercials...usually there is something familiar about them ... but I don't remember that one at all.

I keep thinking the woman in this Maxwell House was on RH (at first I thought it was Randall Edwards but probably not). I'm not sure why.

Yeah, she looks a lot like Randall but I don't think it's her,

Lois Robbins (Concetta, 1987- 1988,1989)  talks about the soap opera process at approx.2:06 and then tells a quick little Ryan's Hope story at approx. 2:42. I think she meant producer Joe Hardy (not John Hardy)

Thank you for finding that. I have that 1982 episode on tape somewhere but it's in a box in some place. I was trying to figure out if the other episodes were the same ones that Freeflyur already uploaded.

Yes, they are the same episodes that Freeflyur has up.

I saw that you mentioned getting near Randall Edwards' final appearance as Delia -- this was in an April 1982 column about one of her last scenes. It would be nice to see this one day --

"In one of Edward's final scenes as Delia,  she performed an elaborate and lengthy dance routine that included the can-can, tango, and Irish gig."

  10.

Haven't watched the entire episodes yet  -- just Nancy's scenes so far—great to see her again. Thanks!

I don't  know how accurate this is --a Los Angeles Time article (dated December 26, 1993) said  Nancy's first appearance was December 13, 1993.

It was interesting to hear Helen say she was known to ad-lib. Kate Mulgrew used to say that they didn't ad-lib on this show because the writers' dialogue was so good they wouldn't dare alter it

Also wonder if the extremely emotional day that was taped the day before were the Mary dying scenes.

Nancy Addison gives a superb performance and it's a shame she didn't win an Emmy for it.

    Yes, she deserved one.

    SPOILER SPACE for Days22

And how she wasn't even nominated for a 1980 emmy for the drug addiction storyline (although some articles mistakenly claim her 1979 nomination was for that --but it wouldn't have fit the time line to qualify for that in 1979 because Jill didn't even take her first pill until March 6)
