I haven't watched the last two episodes yet, but I will never let anyone call me old school again because I have all the episodes that have aired recorded on my TiVO. Im pretty sure Thursdays episode may have been interrupted here in NYC for Mamdani's swearing in. Anyway, I am so not cutting the cord. After reading the comments, I can't wait to the episodes.

It really was. Even The Edge of Night always had great holiday episodes. I was watching GH's episode today and looked at the time clock on the recording and it was 25 minutes in. I was thinking that's it? It was so freaking boring. I just turned it off. In contrast, BTG episode went so fast. I wanted more. This may or not be popular, but when Ted and Shanice kissed. I melted.

Samantha's dialog was irritating, but they seemed to have toned it down. Seems......it subject to change.

Personally, I don't see a real issue with it. I think it's done purposely for a target audience. I will agree to disagree.

It is. It has 29 million followers on Instagram, so it's relevant. One of my favorite YouTubers always reads gossip from that site.

I might be on an island by myself, but as I may have stated before, I truly hate the way Portia, Curtis and Trina are written. Portia is forever digging a hole for herself, Curtis is sanctimonious and completely vomit worthy, Trina has been completely useless since Spencer left and I'm finally saying it out loud, I think Tabyana is a miscast. I think it bothers me because everyone else in town expect for Nina, whom I love, gets away with everything. Then you have sanctimonious Dante, hausfrau Brooklyn, Lulu who won't shut up (she's growing on me) and last but not least Laura who is total enabler. I just find myself FF all of the time. This show was so engrossing when I started watching it again after the pandemic, but this last year has been woeful. With all that being said, I record it everyday and never miss an episode, even if I'm not paying any attention. And opposite of what you said, I'm engrossed in every second BTG. Yeah, I think they need to step it up, maybe a lot....it still it still keeps me thoroughly engrossed.

Just watched the last episode. I was totally bored and tuned out. Every time I engaged a commercial was on, then that last segment took me out. Gio! That was beautiful. Teared me the heck up.

Finally got to watch the Christmas episode. That was really nice. Clifton Davis still has a nice voice. Actually made me tear up a little. Looking forward to what comes next for this show.

I really hope Isaiah is the father of Portia's baby so can get from Curtis. Curtis has been ruined and Trina is on the verge with all that whining.

It's so festive in my house, but man, I took an hour to myself to watch today's show and it had me tearing up a few times. Anita, of course. Then June. June and her sister. Then Tyrell forgiving June. All of it made me feel emotional. Good show.

Friday's episode reminded me so much of ATWT. Of course, Tamara has a lot to do with it. She just shines.

And to add, I loved that they have the menorah prominently placed. It's a nice nod for Jen Jacob who is Jewish.

I finally watched Friday's episode just now. I teared up. Tunie got me. You're right.
