Wow, Skye looks beautiful. Love the way she has her hair pulled back. Speaking of hair, Tracy's looks SO much better like that. Damn. Also, I loved how she talked to Jason: "Ice pick, ice! Cocktails! Skye...friend!"

You're welcome, Mama! I agree about the surgery. I don't think she looks terrible...But it's a harsh difference, looking at flashbacks. However, I'm not one who thinks that they shouldn't use her because of the surgery. I want to see Bobbie regardless of looks. And I think JZ can still step it up with the acting. Last year when she had that scene with Alexis, about the abuse, I thought she did very well. And her face looked a lot worse from the surgeries then than it does now. They were probably more recent then.

Jed Allan as Edward has got to be one of the worst recasts in daytime history.

That clip was around the slow period before the show picked up again. It was good, but started to drag a bit. Then we went through the awful Gloria Monty 2.0 (The Eckerts....), and THEN we got to the fabulous 90s.

It's one of my all time favorite GH scenes and I can never find it. Also, who was Skye waving goodbye to in that scene where she's being ushered out the door? I can't remember.

You're absolutely right. Monica and Alan were such a real, gritty, everyday couple. Yes, they were extremely rich, but they didn't front. They didn't stay together because of money or children. They were upfront with each other. There was fighting, betrayal, anger, etc. But through it all, they came back to one another and had that true bond that so many can relate with.

I've always said that I want to see a new man swoop in and knock Monica off of her feet....Only to cheat on her...With Lesley! It would be such a nice play on the original triangle of Lesley/Rick/Monica. Monica WAS a bitch, and I loved it. Denise Alexander is such a fantastic actress. I can't believe nobody is utilizing her right now. I'd probably rank her as the strongest GH actress of all time, even.

My all time favorite GH era was Labine's 1990s tenure. She told my favorite three storylines in GH's history: BJ's Heart, Monica's Breast Cancer and Stone's AIDs. She may have been "dark", but she did it with purpose. Every action had a consequence. BJ's death gave a new depth to the character of Maxie, and brough a new bond between Bobbie and Felicia. Monica's breast cancer showed that throughout the lies/cheating/betrayal, Alan and Monica loved each other more than life ("Can you HONESTLY say this is sexy? Do you want to go to bed with this?" "I'd love to.") It also brought Emily to the canvas. Stone's death not only brought awareness to AIDs at a time when it wasn't talked about that much, but has also given a legendary character a struggle to face for the rest of her life. Truly beautiful, meaningful storytelling.

I want Skye to be Allan's daughter, too. And I honestly hope that if Allan is ever brought back from the dead, they bring Skye back and revisit that. I have to disagree about Stuart and Leslie, I think they always had great chemistry. If they ever give Tracy a long-lost child, I want it to be a daughter played by this woman: Laura Stone. She used to be on Y&R. She's a wonderful actress, and plays no-nonsense bitch amazingly well. I think she would have fantastic chemistry with JE.

I would kind of like Skye to be Tracy's daughter. Would they get along? Would they still hate each other? Would they scheme together? That would be great. I'd love to see Skye and Tracy team up to con someone. They're both such fierce bitches.

GW kind of dropped the ball with Skye. They brought her on, gave her a bunch of scenes, got the audience intrigued, and then she disappeared.

I agree with this. I don't think Laura needs to be back on a permanent basis. I think it would just be nice if they could call her in for some scenes here and there, sort of like they do with Beth Maitlind on Y&R or Ilene Kristen on OLTL.
