Thanks Carl! It took me some time and work, yes. But mine aren't half as good as some of the ones I've seen! Yes, it is the instrumental of Survivor! -

I'm glad you guys are enjoying the Anjie stuff. It's so fun for me to "see" Lindsay back in action, and Anjelica is a fun new character to write for as well. I'm glad you liked the Clint/Lucas stuff, too. I wouldn't categorize Lucas as a sociopath just yet. His story is going to be explained more, and will really come to fruition in season 2. Thanks for the compliments on the credits. Yes, there will be another opening that features the characters not seen here (Anjelica, Brianna, and Tad.) I totally see where you're coming from, and I agree it should have been fleshed out more. That's my bad. But don't worry, Skye/Erica will butt heads again and Erica will have her time to get angry. -

Thank you so much, Girl! -
Heaven's Meadow Season 1 - Episode Fourteen "All Differences Aside" This episode features: Susan Lucci as Erica Kane Ric Herbst as Lucas Erickson Colleen Zenk as Anjelica King with Catherine Hickland as Lindsay Rappaport Jerry ver Dorn as Clint Buchanan and Robin Christopher as Skye Chandler _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Lucas: Clint: (In the WAVE Studios. Lucas is in his office. There is a knock on the door. He stands from behind his desk, and moves towards the door. He opens it and lets Clint Buchanan into the room.) Lucas. Mr. Buchanan, what can I do for you? Clint: I'm here to discuss Hayley Vaughan. Lucas: What about her? (Clint takes a moment before he replies. After a sigh, he speaks.) Clint: Something is wrong with her, and I'm fairly certain that you know what it is . Lucas: Mr. Buchanan, I-- (Clint cuts him off.) Clint: I don't have time for excuses, Lucas. I know Hayley has been having a rough time, and believe me, I sympathize. But I'm here to run a business. Lucas: And her personal problems are getting in the way of that, am I correct? Clint: You are. And if you know something that I don't, you need to tell me. The ratings for the show are already falling rapidly from last year, and Hayley's erratic behavior certainly isn't going to help matters. (Lucas moves to the other side of his office and has a seat behind his desk.) Lucas: Have you talked to Hayley about this? Clint: I tried. She had a complete meltdown, at the very mention that she take time off from the show. Lucas: This show is the only thing she has left. I'm sure you've heard about her husband's disappearance. Clint: And I'm very sorry to hear about that. Believe me, Lucas. I respect that she made this show what it is. However, that doesn't mean that I can allow her to go on acting like this. Lucas: There's nothing I can tell you, Mr. Buchanan. Your guess is as good as mine. (Clint is visibly disgruntled. He moves towards the door, but turns around.) Clint: I know you're very close to Hayley, Lucas. I respect the obligation that you feel to protect her. But if you find anything out, you let me know. Otherwise, very drastic changes will be coming. (Clint exits the room, and shuts the door behind him. Lucas stands from behind his desk and moves towards the bookshelf on the other side of the room. He picks up a framed picture of him and Hayley, and begins speaking out loud to himself.) Lucas: Consider yourself lucky, Hayley. I could have blown you, and your vodka bottle, sky high. (He chuckles.) Lucas: All in good time. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ OPENING CREDITS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgmDeqx4inI _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Erica: Skye: (Inside Erica's hotel room. Erica is in the bathroom freshening her makeup when she hears a knock on the door. She puts on her silk robe, and makes her way to the door. She swings the door open, expecting her room service delivery. She is stunned to see Skye Chandler standing in front of her. Skye doesn't wait for Erica to speak. Instead, she walks right past her and into the room.) Erica: I'm in no mood for you today, Skye . Skye: Trust me, I have no desire to be in your presence. Ever. (Erica rolls her eyes.) Erica: Then why are you here, Skye? Skye: Oh, don't roll your eyes at me, bitch. I happen to have a very good reason for coming to see you. Erica: Which is? Skye: It's about Hayley. (A serious looks spreads over Erica's face.) Erica: What about Hayley? Skye: She's in a very, very dark place, Erica. She needs our help. Erica: What are you up to, Skye? Skye: Excuse me? Erica: You don't honestly expect me to believe that you give a damn about Hayley, do you? Skye: She's my family, Erica. Erica: Oh please, Skye. The Chandler's aren't your family. Most of them try to pretend you don't exist. (Skye slaps Erica across the face.) Skye: Don't you ever talk about the relationships I share with my family, Erica. You know nothing, and it's none of your damn business. Erica: You are such trash, darling. It's sad really. I'm not going to engage with you any further. I won't lower myself to your level. Please leave. Skye: I'm not going anywhere, Erica. I came here to discuss Hayley, and I'm not leaving until you listen. Erica: What is it you think Hayley could possibly need your help with? Skye: She's drinking again, Erica. (Instant concern spreads across Erica's face.) Erica: That's not funny. Skye: I know it isn't. Erica: And what made you think that? Skye: A couple weeks back I ran into her at the Meadow Club, and I could tell she'd been drinking. I hinted to her that I knew, hoping that she'd come to me for help. But she didn't. And last night, I went to see her at her house. Erica: And she was drunk? Skye: She was trying to hide the alcohol when I got there, and she dropped the bottle. There was glass and booze everywhere. She is not in a good place, Erica. She's on a fast downward spiral, and I don't know how much longer she can live like this. Erica: You're certain that you couldn't have misinterpreted the situation? Skye: No, Erica! I'm not stupid! I've been there before. I am a recovering alcoholic. That is a battle I face every day. And I recognize the look in her eyes, Erica. I know you will, too. She needs our help. Erica: You're serious. Skye: Very. Erica: Then I'm willing to put our differences aside, Skye. For Hayley. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Lindsay: Anjelica: (At Patty's. Anjelica is sitting at the bar. Lindsay walks up to her and begins speaking.) Lindsay: You need to leave Viki alone, Anjie. Anjelica: Have you always been this nosy? Lindsay: Yes. Now, I meant what I said. Leave Viki alone. Anjelica: By what stretch of the imagination is my relationship with Viki any of your business? Lindsay: Viki is a good person, and I know what you're capable of. I'm not going to sit back and watch it happen. Anjelica: You know, we spent a lot of time talking while we were cell mates...And in all that time, you never mentioned that you had a good friend named Viki. Lindsay: I didn't say she was a good friend of mine. Anjelica: Then why are you so concerned about her? Viki: Just because we're not best friends, doesn't mean she deserves whatever it is you have planned. I know how you operate, Anjie. You're not exactly subtle. Anjelica: Your nosiness is really getting on my last nerve, Lindsay. Lindsay: I don't give a damn. I've filled Viki in on your entire past. (Anjelica looks surprised and angry. Lindsay smirks and grabs Anjelica's martini, taking a sip.) Lindsay: Yep, I know everything. The embezzlement, the fact that you didn't really grow up here, so on and so on. Not to mention your real name, the fact that your brother used to own the magazine...Oh Lord, I could go on all day. You get the gist. (Lindsay grabs her purse off the bar, stands, and turns to leave. Before walking away, however, she turns and says one last thing.) Lindsay: I left one key element out of the story I gave Viki. You know exactly what I'm talking about. And that can stay your little secret, so long as you quit The Banner and leave town. If you're not gone by the end of the week, I'll be forced to leak your story to the press. Luckily, I know someone that owns a major magazine right her in Heaven's Meadow. (Lindsay gives Anjelica one last smirk and walks away.) _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Thank you for reading! Thanks for reading, Bright Eyes! Ha, I guess you're right - the residents of Heaven's Meadow have some bones to pick with PV's finest. I'm so glad you are enjoying Lindsay so much. She's so much fun to write for. Your comments on the Hayley story mean so much to me! I'm glad you are enjoying it so much. Erica's involvement will be quite interesting. -
Heaven's Meadow Season 1 - Episode 13 "Rock Bottom? Try Again" This episode features: Erika Slezak as Victoria Lord Banks Ric Herbst as Lucas Erickson Angell Conwell as Jacqueline Catherine Hickland as Lindsay Rappaport with Kelly Ripa as Hayley Vaughan and Robin Christopher as Skye Chandler _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Skye: Hayley: (Hayley is laying on the floor, sobbing. She is too ashamed to look her sister in the eye. Skye stands outside the window and is horrified by what she sees. Her mind races, and she realizes she should have come to see Hayley sooner after realizing she may be drinking again. She begins speaking in a calm tone.) Skye: Hayley? Hayley, it's me, Skye. Open the door, and I'll help you get cleaned up. (Hayley sobs loudly.) Hayley: Go away, Skye. Skye: Hayley, I know how difficult this must be for you. I understand that. But I'm here to help you, whatever you need. (Hayley tries to stand from the floor, but her legs are unable to support her. She begins to fall, and has to reach out and grab the end-table next to her couch for support. A sharp pain shoots through her arm. She looks down, and notices several cuts on her arm, from the shattered glass on the ground. She wipes the tears off of her eyes and cheeks, and brushes the hair out of her face. She glances up and sees her sister still watching her through the window. She gains her footing, and walks towards the door. She swings it open, but is unable to say anything before Skye walks through the door.) Skye: Hayley, I'm so sorry. I should have come to see you sooner, I-- (Hayley cuts her off.) Hayley: I don't need your help, Skye. (Skye is taken aback by Hayley's harsh tone.) Skye: I know we've never been close, Hayley. But-- (Hayley cuts her off again.) Hayley: That's right, Skye. And that's not going to change now. Skye: I thought that we agreed to start over. Hayley: Yeah, well I'm not falling for it Skye. I know exactly what you're up to. (Skye is visibly shocked by Hayley's comments. She sets her purse down on the end-table and walks towards Hayley.) Skye: What are you talking about, Hayley? Hayley: You saw that I was in a bad place, Skye. You recognized it because you've been there. That much I believe. But you didn't approach me because you care. You approached me because you wanted to take advantage of me. What better way to weasel your way back into the Chandler family, then to befriend poor, drunken Hayley? Skye: That is not true, Hayley. I would never do that to you. Hayley: Why would I believe you, Skye? You've never cared about me before, why would you start now? Skye: Because I have been there, Hayley. More times than you can count. And seeing someone in that place, it's awful. I see the pain in your eyes Hayley, and it breaks my heart. I want to help you. We are family. Hayley: That's never meant anything before, Skye. And it doesn't now, either. (Skye blinks back tears. She grabs her purse from the end-table and moves towards the door, stepping over the broken glass. She grabs the knob, but before she opens the door, she turns around and speaks.) Skye: I know what you're going through, Hayley. And I don't think that you meant the things that you said. But even if you did, I'm still here for you. (Skye opens the door and begins to leave, but Hayley begins to speak.) Hayley: Skye, wait. (Skye turns around.) Hayley: If you truly care about me, don't tell anyone about this. Let me work through it on my own time. (Skye blinks several times as tears drip down her cheek.) Skye: I can't promise you that, Hayley. (Skye turns around and exits the house, closing the door behind her. Hayley begins crying once more, knowing that Skye had been sincere. She turns to walk towards the kitchen, stepping right through the broken glass. She makes her way into the kitchen and opens the cabinet above the sink and removes a bottle of vodka, and a glass. She pours the vodka into the glass, and moves the glass to her lips. Her hand trembles as the cup touches her lip, and the burning of the alcohol in her throat evokes a feeling of both self loathing and numbness. She lowers the glass and pours herself another drink. Tears stream down her cheeks as she comes to the realization that she may have just turned away the only person who truly cares. The only person who could save her.) _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Viki: Lindsay: (At The Meadow Club. Viki and Lindsay are sitting at their table.) Viki: Excuse me? Lindsay: You heard me, Viki. You cannot trust Anjelica Moore. (Viki is visibly confused.) Viki: Who the hell is Anjelica Moore? (Lindsay looks at Viki for a long moment, confused.) Lindsay: I am talking to Viki, right? Viki: Yes, but I'm starting to think you may have lost your mind, Lindsay. You're not making any sense. That woman's name is Anjelica King. Lindsay: That may be the name she gave you, but it sure ain't the name I know her by. Viki: You must be mistaken, Lindsay. She grew up in this town. The people here would know if she changed her name. Lindsay: Yeah, she gave me that story, too. But I did a little research. Anjelica was born in this town, but moved when she was 5. Her parents are both deceased, and she only had one brother. In fact, he's the only reason she ever came back here. Viki: What do you mean? Lindsay: I met her in prison, Viki. If you must know. And when she got out, nobody wanted to hire her. Her brother used to own your magazine, and he's the only person who was willing to give her a job. She changed her name so that no one would know they were siblings. She obliterated her past. (Viki soaks this in for a moment, and then sighs.) Viki: What could she possibly have done that prevented her from getting any type of job? (Lindsay swirls the red wine in her glass. She takes a sip, and sets the cup back down. She sighs dramatically and begins speaking.) Lindsay: Well, long story short...She embezzled her last employer out of millions and millions of dollars. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Jacqueline: Lucas: (Jacqueline is sitting in her apartment. She is sipping a glass of wine and browses a magazine. She looks up when she hears the door to the apartment opening. Lucas Erickson enters.) Jacqueline: Well, well, well. If it isn't my long lost husband. Lucas: That would be me. Jacqueline: Where have you been? Lucas: I've been staying at the MeadowView Inn the past couple of nights. I needed to clear my head. Jacqueline: A phone call would have been nice. Lucas: Well, the phone works two ways my dear. Jacqueline: I thought you might have been dead. Lucas: And that still didn't prompt you to call? (Jacqueline stands and moves to the other side of the room, refilling her wine glass.) Jacqueline: Well, I was going to. But then I saw Hayley Vaughan's tweets about how wonderful you are. So I knew you weren't dead, just a deadbeat. (Lucas ponders this for a moment.) Lucas: Hayley has been going through a rough time lately. Jacqueline: And it's about to get a whole lot worse, when she finds out that the only reason you ever took the job at WAVE was to ruin her life. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Thanks for reading! Mr. Vixen commented on Mr. Vixen's blog entry in Heaven's Meadow
I completely understand where you're coming from. Was it as common back then? Certainly not. But it's always bothered me that they de-Chandler'd Skye to make her a Quartermaine...Only to say she wasn't a Quartermaine either. I know it's a stretch of the imagination, but I just felt it was important to re-establish her as a Chandler, because I never thought that should have been changed. And, like you said, her backstory is a mess! Thanks Carl! -

Thanks for reading, Carl! I understand your hesitation about Skye's paternity. What part of the story confused you? I would be more than happy to try and elaborate. I'm sorry you were disappointed. As for Adam, yes - you are correct. I think, in Adam's mind, he's tried to be the best father he knows how to be, to Skye. And he is now recognize that he's failed, in many ways. I'm glad you're enjoying Viki, as well. I always wondered why they didn't have Lindsay and Viki interact more, so I think that should be fun to explore. Thank you so much for the comments on the Hayley story. You have no idea how much that means to me ! -

Thanks so much, Bright Eyes! I've always loved Viki as a business woman, and wished we saw it more on the actual show. Don't worry, there will be a paternity test. It wouldn't make sense for their not to be! LOL at the framing idea...I'll keep that in mind! Thanks for the comments on Lindsay. You're right, she has no shame about her past, ha! Sorry you're not liking Skye's dialogue right now. Stay tuned, and we'll see If I can't change your mind. Thanks again. -

Heaven's Meadow Season 1 - Episode Twelve" "We Aren't So Different, You and I" This episode features: Erika Slezak as Victoria Lord Colleen Zenk as Anjelica King Catherine Hickland as Lindsay Rappaport with David Canary as Adam Chandler Kelly Ripa as Hayley Vaughan and Robin Christopher as Skye Chandler _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Skye: Adam: (In Skye's hotel room. She stands, looking incredulously at her father, stunned by what he just said.) Skye: What did you just say? Adam: I said that I have two biological daughters in this town, Skye. (Skye is visibly angered, and hurt. She walks towards him and emotionally begins flailing her arms against him. She is crying as she begins screaming.) Skye: Don't! Don't you dare do this to me. How dare you come in here and say something like that to me. You know the pain that my being adopted caused me. And now you come in here and throw it in my face because you decided that, for once, you wanted to be my father! (Adam grabs Skye's arms, attempting to calm her down. After a moment, he looks into her eyes and begins speaking.) Adam: I would never do that to you, Skye. What I said is true. Skye: I'm not stupid, Daddy. I saw the paternity test. I am not your daughter, and you saying otherwise doesn't change that. Adam: Just hear me out, Skye. Please. (Skye wipes away her tears with her hands, and moves to the other side of the room. She sits down on the couch and tries to blink back more tears.) Skye: I'm listening. (Adam sits down in a chair located next to the couch, and begins speaking.) Adam: I did have an affair with your mother, many years ago, while I was married to Althea. Skye: She's never said anything about that, Daddy. And neither did you, when I first found out that she was my mother. Adam: Just listen. When Rae found out she was pregnant, she wasn't totally sure who the father was. As you know, she had been involved with Alan Quartermaine around the time you were conceived, and our affair started very shortly after. (Skye guffaws and rolls her eyes.) Skye: And the conception period fell right in the middle of the two, am I right? Adam: Yes. Alan's father, Edward, found out about the pregnancy and paid her to disappear. So, she came to me and told me that she may be pregnant with my child, and that she planned to give you up for adoption. (Skye stands from the couch and moves towards the window. She stands in front off the window, looking into the rain. A single tear falls down her cheek.) Skye: Go on. Adam: Now, Althea and I had been trying for some time to have a baby, but she was unable to get pregnant. So I suggested to Rae that we would adopt the baby. She agreed, and Althea never knew any better. As far as she was concerned, we were raising a child from a mother I found through an adoption agency. Everyone else believed that you were our biological daughter. Althea wanted it that way. She felt shame in not being able to carry a child, and she didn't want anyone to know. Skye: And all that time, you knew that I might be your daughter...But you never had a test done? I don't understand. (Adam moves towards Skye and touches her cheek, wiping away the tear.) Adam: It didn't matter to me, Skye. You were my daughter, no matter what a piece of paper said. (Skye moves past him and sits on the couch once again.) Skye: When I found out that Rae was my mother, she told me you weren't my father. Didn't you want to know for sure? Adam: I thought that I did. She showed me a paternity test that said I wasn't the father. Skye: Then why are you so convinced that you are? Adam: Several months ago I got a call from Rae. She was in New York, and asked me to meet with her. I was skeptical, but she told me that it was regarding you, so I went. When I got there, she told me that the paternity test that she had done all those years ago had been tampered with. Skye: But who would do that? Adam: Althea's mother, Rosemary. She was a nurse, in the hospital where Rae had your paternity test done. When she read Rae's patient file, she saw that I was a potential father to her unborn child. She didn't want Althea to be hurt, and she knew that my having a child by another woman, while Althea was unable to conceive... (Adam's voice cracks. He coughs back the lump in his throat and continues.) Adam: It would have broken her. Skye: So she switched the results. Adam: Yes, but Rae never knew that. Not until last year, when Rosemary contacted her and asked to see her. She was very ill at that point, and admitted everything. (Skye stands and moves towards the bar . She pours herself of ice cold water and sips, slowly.) Skye: How long have you known? Adam: Several months now. Rae wanted to tell you, but I asked her to let me do it. I thought that it would be the perfect way to bring us back together, Skye. But then so much happened. First I find out that Stuart is alive,, and then JR had a complete breakdown. I kept putting it off, because I didn't know how to do it.I was scared, Skye. But with everything that Hayley and JR have gone through this year, I knew that I owed it to you to tell you. (Skye sets down her glass, and turns to look at her father. There is a cold look in her eyes.) Skye: You cowardly bastard. Adam: Skye... Skye: No! NO! Don't stand there and make excuses for yourself. I won't listen to it, not anymore. I spent my entire life trying to excuse your horrible parenting. (Adam begins moving towards the door.) Skye: No, Daddy! You don't just get to walk out like that! I'm not a five year old girl anymore. I listened to you, and now you'll listen to me. (Adam turns around.) Skye: When I came to Pine Valley, all those years ago...All I wanted was for you to love me. I wanted to be your daughter, that's all. But you always treated me differently, Daddy. You always did. And I know that I've done some horrible things, but I am not the monster everybody makes me out to be. Adam: I've never thought of you that way, Skye. Skye: Yes you did! Yes you did, Daddy. But the truth is, I am just like you. I am more like you than any of your other children, and you never wanted to see that. I know, I'm a bitch. I know that, Daddy...But everything you have always condemned me for, came from you. Adam: I have always stood by you through all of the things you've done. Skye: Maybe. But you're also the first to throw them back in my face. Adam: I know that I was never the best father to you, Skye. That's why I came here, to change that. Skye: It's a little bit late, Daddy. (Adam opens his mouth to speak, but Skye cuts him off.) Skye: You know, there's a part of me that's glad I'm your daughter. I had a very good relationship with Alan Quartermaine. I loved him very much, but I alwayswanted it to be you, Daddy. And now that it is...It just doesn't make things better. How do you think it made me feel, when I was just a little girl, and you walked away? I made so many excuses for you, Daddy...And when I found out that I was adopted, I allowed it to be just another excuse. You left because I wasn't yours. And it hurt. It broke me, Daddy. But now, I know that you left me....You left me, when you knew I might have been your daughter. That makes it hurt all over again, just like it did when I was a little girl And now, you find out that I'm your daughter...And you wait, what, ten months, to tell me? What does that say? What does that say about how much you really care about me, Daddy? I just don't know how to believe that you care, at all. (Adam is crying heavily at this point.) Adam: I'm so sorry, Skye. Skye: I need you to go. I need you to go, Daddy. I can't do this...Not right now. (Heartbroken, Adam turns and walks towards the door. He opens it, but before her leaves, he turns and speaks.) Adam: I love you. (He leaves the room before Skye can respond, shutting the door behind him. Skye moves to the table and grabs her glass of water. Screaming, she throws it at the door and watches it shatter. She falls to the ground, sobbing.) _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Viki: Anjelica: Lindsay: (At The Meadow Club. Viki and Anjelica are sitting at a table inside the club's restaurant.) Viki: I just don't think the debut cover story is strong enough, Anjelica. Our first official issue as "The Banner" launches next week, and I just don't think what we have makes enough of a splash. Anjelica: I've worked at this magazine for several years now, Viki. I know what sells. Viki: It's no longer the same magazine, Anjelica. The Banner will have a different feel, and I want our first issue to represent that. And I just don't think that centering our first issue on celebrity weight-loss is the best way to debut with a splash. Anjelica: I disagree. Viki: It's not your call, Anjelica. Ultimately, it's up to me. I want you to pull the story. Anjelica: And replace it with what? Viki: You tell me! That's what I pay you to do, dear. (Anjelica is visibly flustered.) Anjelica: I just think you should trust me on this-- (She does not finish her sentence, as they are interrupted by Lindsay Rappaport, who has approached the table.) Lindsay: Well hello, ladies. (Viki looks stunned to see Lindsay.) Viki: Lindsay, I had no idea that you were-- Lindsay: Out of prison? (Anjelica chuckles.) Viki: Well, yes. Lindsay: I haven't been out long. I just relocated to New Hampshire, and I'm opening an art studio. Next week, in fact. (Before Viki can respond, Anjelica begins speaking.) Anjelica: I'll leave you two to catch up. I have work to do. Nice seeing you, Lindsay. (Anjelica stands from the table and walks away. Lindsay sits down in her seat.) Viki: How do you know Anjelica, Lindsay? Lindsay: That's not important, Viki. What is important, is that you cannot trust her. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Hayley: Skye: (Hayley is inside her house. She walks into the living room from the kitchen, holding a freshly poured drink in one hand , and a bottle of tequila in the other. She is seated on the couch, and allows herself to become consumed in thought. Her mind races as she ponders the idea that Mateo may have walked out on her. She begins crying, and wonders why she isn't good enough - Not only for Mateo, but for all of America. In reality, she understands that Wave's slagging ratings are not her fault, but her unstable emotional state prevents her from fully realizing this. Fearing that her drinking may cause her to be fired from the show, she vows the she will stop. She stands, and moves towards the kitchen, intending to dump the bottle of tequila. However, on her way to the kitchen, she passes the fireplace and spots her and Mateo's wedding photo on the mantle. The depression consumes her once more. She moves towards the couch, and pours herself another drink. She is startled by a pounding on the door. Though Hayley cannot see her, Skye Chandler stands on the other side of the door.) Skye: Hayley! Hayley, are you in there? It's me, Skye. I'm really sorry, I know it's late. (Skye pounds on the door once more.) Skye: Hayley! Hayley, please answer the door. I really need to talk to someone. I don't know where else to go. (Hayley stands from the couch, and attempts to walk into the kitchen to stash the alcohol before answering the door. However, in her drunken state, she stumbles and falls. The bottle of tequila shatters. Skye hears the shatter from outside, and moves towards the window next to the front door. She peers through the window and see's Hayley crumpled in the pile of booze and broken glass. The sisters make eye contact as Hayley begins sobbing.) _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Thanks for reading! Nope, it's not Dru! Thank you so much for the compliments on the Hayley story. I'm glad you all seem to be enjoying it so much. Skye and Adam have such a complicated history, and considering that they haven't spoken in 12 years? Well, it just didn't make sense for me to have them instantly reconnecting, so that's why I'm taking it slow! Thanks for reading and commenting, Carl! -
S01 - Episode Eleven: "Daddy's Little Girl"

Yep the mystery woman is Jacqueline's mom. That's why I said don't count the Jacqueline/Brandon relationship out just yet! Hayley is a real mess, for sure! You just know something will go down with Erica/Skye/Hayley all under the same roof. Thank you! -
S01 - Episode Eleven: "Daddy's Little Girl"
Mr. Vixen commented on Mr. Vixen's blog entry in Heaven's Meadow
You'll just have to wait and see! Lucas/Skye's back story is going to be further developed very soon. If you recall, in the episode where Skye and Lucas/Peter came face to face last week, Skye said something along the lines of "I won't let you do here, what you did in Minnesota." Maybe that could give you a clue as to when they were married? JR is definitely part of Adam's motivation to find Skye, and that will be addressed more in tomorrow's episode as the scenes continue . The relationship between JR and his siblings will be touched upon, don't worry. -
Heaven's Meadow Season 1 - Episode Eleven "Daddy's Little Girl" This episode features: Kelly Ripa as Hayley Vaughan Ric Herbst as Lucas Erickson Angell Conwell as Jacqueline with David Canary as Adam Chandler and Robin Christopher as Skye Chandler _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Skye: Adam: (In Skye's hotel room. She stands, holding the door open while her father, Adam Chandler, stands in the hallway. He moves past her into the room. Skye, stunned by his presence, closes the door and slowly turns around to face him.) Skye: What are you doing here, Daddy? Adam: We are long overdue for a reunion, darling. (Skye is visibly nervous and emotional. She clears the lump in her throat and begins speaking.) Skye: It has been a very long time, hasn't it? Adam: I've missed you very much, Skye. Skye: You don't have to lie to me, Daddy. (Adam seems surprised by her response.) Adam: I have missed you every single day since you walked away, Skye. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. Skye: Could have fooled me. Adam: What is that supposed to mean? Skye: I walked away, Daddy! Yes, I did! But you didn't come after me! You never looked for me, never reached out. Not once in all these years! (Skye is crying at this point, and tears stream down her cheeks.) Adam: You left, Skye. What was I supposed to do? Skye: LOOK for me, Daddy! I know I could have reached out. Maybe I should have. But I was your child, or at least I spent most of my life thinking so. And I just wanted you to look for me. To show that you cared. Adam: I knew where you were. I always made sure that you were safe. Skye: Is that supposed to make me feel better? That you knew and never tried to mend things with me? Adam: You left Skye! After you found out that you were adopted, you vanished. You cut off all contact with me! I didn't know what to do. Skye: What did you expect me to do, Daddy?! I was a grown woman, and I found out that my entire life was a LIE! You always treated me differently, Daddy. And after all those years, to find out that it was because I wasn't truly your daughter?! How do you think that made me feel?! (Adam is crying.) Adam: I was wrong, Skye. I should have reached out to you. But after you left-- (Skye cuts him off, yelling emotionally.) Skye: Stop saying that! Stop putting this on me, Daddy! YES, I left. That was my choice! But you are the "parent" here. If you had ever given a damn, you would have reached out to me. But you didn't. Adam: I thought you didn't want me to, Skye. I was wrong. I'm sorry. I love you...I always have. Skye:I love you too, Daddy. I spent my whole life trying to show you that, in my own twisted way. And I've always known that you loved me, the best way you knew how. All I've ever wanted is to have a real relationship with you, Daddy. But I never believed that you wanted the same. (Adam is choked up. He tries to speak, but cannot find the right words. He moves towards Skye and touches her on the shoulder. She looks him in the eyes, and for a moment she forgets all of her anger and truly feels his love for the first time in years. She snaps back to reality, and moves towards the bedside table. She grabs a tissue and dabs her eyes.) Skye: How did you know I would be here? Adam: Hayley came to see me, and she mentioned it. (A brief sense of anger rushes throughout Skye.) Skye: Did she tell you to come see me? Adam: No, that was my choice. I'm so glad the two of you are forming a relationship. Skye: So, what? You thought you'd take her lead, and reach out to the black sheep of the family? Adam: That's not it at all, Skye. I want to have a real relationship with you again. (Skye begins crying once more. She clenches her eyes shut, trying to fight back the tears.) Skye: I want to believe you, so badly. But why? Why now? Adam: Seeing the pain Hayley is in, now...it really made me realize how wrong I've been. All the pain you must have faced all those years ago... I know I should have been there more for you. I should have chased after you. But I didn't, and I was wrong. I'd like to mend those fences now. Skye: I would love that, Daddy. More than anything. But I just don't know how to trust you. (Adam winces slightly at this comment.) Skye: Can you blame me? You finally reach out to me, and it just happens to be when your biological daughter is living in the same town as me? Adam: I have two biological daughters in this town, Skye. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hayley: Lucas: (Inside the WAVE Studios. Hayley walks into her dressing room, running late. She looks in the mirror and is shocked at how tired she looks. Her head is pounding and she feels nauseous. She struggles to remember how much she had to drink the night before. Sitting in the makeup chair, she runs a wash cloth under the hot water. She presses the cloth to her forehead, feeling an instant sense of relief. She is overwhelmed as her mind races, thinking of drinking. Part of her hates the alcohol, for causing her such pain. But the majority of her craves it, and despite her current condition, she knows she will drink again tonight. She is startled, and jumps, when she hears a knock on the door. She makes her way over to the door and opens it. Lucas Erickson is standing in the hall.) Lucas: Hayley what are you doing? You were supposed to be on set thirty minutes ago! (Hayley is extremely confused.) Hayley: What? No! We don't start taping until 7, it's only 6:30. Lucas: Hayley you were supposed to come in early today because the person you were supposed to interview couldn't make it for the normal taping schedule. Hayley: Well, I...I uhm, I forgot. I'm sorry. I thought that was next week. I-- Lucas: Hayley, I called you last night and reminded you. We spoke on the phone. (Hayley is visibly panicked, as she has no recollection of the conversation.) Hayley: I just got my days mixed up, is all. I'll make it up somehow, I promise. Lucas: I've been calling you all morning, Hayley. Where have you been? (She looks around frantically and realizes she does not have her phone with her. She has no idea where she left it, and finds herself stumbling to make an excuse.) Hayley: I lost my phone a few days ago, and haven't gotten around to replacing it. Lucas: Hayley, we spoke on it last night. What's going on with you? Hayley: Then I guess I lost it yesterday, Lucas! I'm sorry! I screwed up, I know. I'll fix things. I promise. Lucas: This is becoming a habit, Hayley. This is the third taping you've missed in the past month. I can't make excuses for you forever. Hayley: I know, and I appreciate your help. (She holds her hands up to her face for a long moment, and sighs.) Hayley: I know, I've really got to get myself together. And I will. Especially with Erica coming on board, and my sister coming on as co-executive producer. Lucas: What do you mean, your sister is going to be co-executive producer? Skye: They didn't tell you yet? Clint, the man who bought the production company, hired my sister Skye. (Panic spreads across Lucas' face.) Lucas: Skye... Chandler? Hayley: Yes? Lucas...What's wrong? Why do you have that look on your face? Do you know her? Lucas: I used to be married to her. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Jacqueline: Mystery Woman: (Inside Jacqueline's apartment. She is speaking to the mystery woman.) Jacqueline: Everything is going exactly as planned. Mystery Woman: Very well, then. And you're sure Brianna will keep her mouth shut? Jacqueline: Yes, I've been watching her very closely. Mystery Woman: And her brother? Jacqueline: Brandon is a good man, he doesn't need to be part of this. I won't-- (The mystery woman cuts her off.) Mystery Woman: Don't tell me you have feelings for him, Jacqueline? You're a married woman. Jacqueline: Not happily. Brandon is a wonderful man...I care about him. I do. Mystery Woman: I didn't bring him into this so that you could fall in love. You were only supposed to get involved with him to keep an eye on his sister. Don't get distracted. Jacqueline: I'm not. You'll have Erica Kane in your hands in no time. But are you sure this is how you want it to be? Mystery Woman: This is my plan, Jacqueline. Not yours. We'll do it my way. Jacqueline: I know, I'm just saying-- (The Mystery Woman cuts her off again.) Mystery Woman: Don't argue with me, darling. Mother always knows best. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Thanks for reading! Thanks, Spencer! I always wished that Skye had gone back to AMC, too! Don't count Jacqueline out just yet. Yes she's up to no good, but would it be a soap if she wasn't? There's still lots to come for her and Brandon! Thank you so much for the compliments on the Hayley story. I think hot mess is a perfect description, haha! Thanks to all of you for commenting! -

The newbies are in for quite a challenge, going up against some very strong characters. But it should be interesting to see their motivation, and how everything turns out. I am looking forward to posting the Adam/Skye scene as I feel a reunion between the two is long overdue. And don't count Rae out just yet. As always, thank you for reading and commenting. -

Mr. Vixen posted a blog entry in Heaven's Meadow
Heaven's Meadow Season 1 - Episode Ten "Revenge is a Girl's Best Friend" This episode features: Kassie DePaiva as Blair Cramer Angell Conwell as Jacqueline Sean Kanan as Brandon Mayweather Vail Bloom as Brianna Emerson Jerry ver Dorn as Clint Buchanan with Kelly Ripa as Hayley Vaughan and Robin Christopher as Skye Chandler _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Skye: Blair: (Inside Blair's hotel room.) Blair: Excuse me? Skye: I want you to run the club for me, Blair. Blair: Have you lost your mind? (Skye moves to the other side of the room and pours herself a glass of water.) Skye: No, Blair. It makes perfect sense. Blair:Skye, on what planet does it make sense for two people that hate each other to go into business together? Skye: It's true, Blair...I don't like you. But that doesn't mean you're not good at running a club. Blair: I'm damn good at running a club, Skye. That's why I'm opening my own. Skye: But why bother? It's not as if Heaven's Meadow is known for it's club scene, Blair: And I'm hoping to change that. Skye: And so am I. Blair: Skye, are you drinking again? You're not making any sense. (Skye is visibly angered by the drinking remark. She moves towards the couch and sits down next to Blair.) Skye: Look, I've run a club before. But I don't have nearly as much experience as you do in that area. I've already purchased the property, and I'm going to open the club. But with my new job, I need someone to run it for me. Blair: Skye, do you honestly expect me to believe that this offer is solely from a business standpoint? You're up to something, and I don't want any part of it. Skye: With my business savvy, and your experience in this area...Blair, this club could be huge. Why should we open two clubs and compete against each other? If we combine our skills, there's no chance we won't succeed. Blair: And that would be a great plan, if we didn't hate each other. Skye: Well you know what they say, dear. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. (Skye stands up and walks towards the door. She puts her hand on the knob, but before she opens it, she turns around and speaks.) Skye: Think on it, Blair. I'll be in touch. (Skye exits Blair's room and shuts the door. For a moment, she stands outside of Blair's room with a smirk on her face, before walking away.) _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Hayley: Clint: (At the WAVE Studios. Hayley is in her dressing room, getting ready for a show. There is a knock on the door. Hayley stands from her chair and moves towards the door. She opens it and lets Clint Buchanan into the room.) Clint: Hello, Ms. Vaughan. Hayley: Please, call me Hayley. I wasn't expecting to see you so soon. I was told you weren't going to be spending time on set until next week. Clint: Well, that's true. But I came here specifically to speak to you. Hayley: Well, how can I help you? Clint: I want to discuss the future of Wave. (Panic overtakes Hayley. She moves past Clint, to the other side of the room. She pours herself a glass of water and takes a drink. Her lack of self esteem and feelings of self doubt have taken over. She fears she may lose her job, and she knows she may not be able to handle it.) Hayley: What is it you want to discuss, Mr. Buchanan? Clint: I've been watching the show over the past few weeks, Hayley. And you just don't seem happy anymore. Hayley: Oh, no. No, no, no. I've just been tired, is all. I've been having trouble sleeping lately. I assure you, I am completely -- (Clint cuts her off.) Clint: I don't want you to worry, Hayley. I didn't come in here to scare you. I just wanted to get to the bottom of it. At the end of the day, you are WAVE. And there is obviously a problem somewhere within the system. I'd like to fix it. (Hayley continues to panic internally. Her mind races. She knows that she can't tell anyone that she's been drinking, and she fears that her secretiveness may cost her down the line. ) Hayley: I don't want you to think I'm not happy here, Mr. Buchanan. I love Wave, it's just been a difficult time for me lately. Clint: I know, and that's why I think that you should take some time off. Erica is debuting next week, and after the fans warm up to her, you can go on a nice long vacation. And as soon as you're ready, you can come back. (Anger rages throughout Hayley's body. She throws the glass of water across the room.) Hayley: NO! No, I will NOT be pushed out. This is MY show, Mr. Buchanan! And I won't let you do this! I won't! (Clint is visibly shocked by Hayley's outburst.) Clint: Hayley, I'm not trying to push you out. I wouldn't do that. Like I said, Wave is your show. (Hayley is crying at this point.) Hayley: Then why are you doing this to me? I know how these things work, Mr. Buchanan. You tell me I'm going on vacation, and when I get back you hand me a big fat check and tell me my contracts been bought out. (Clint stands, worry spread across his face. He moves towards Hayley and looks at her face to face.) Clint: I assure you, Hayley. Nothing like that is going to happen. I'm sorry to have upset you. We will discuss this later. (Clint exits the room, and is genuinely worried about Hayley. After Clint is gone, Hayley immediately breaks down. She realizes how irrational she had been. She also realizes that Clint had been sincere, and that he hadn't intended to fire her. She now fears that her emotional outbreak may cause him to rethink his kindness, and she fears that her fragile emotional state may have been the final straw in costing her the last thing she truly loves. In tears, she moves towards the cabinets in her dressing room. She takes out a bottle of vodka, and pours herself a drink.) _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Jacqueline: Brandon: Brianna: (At Brandon's apartment. Jacqueline, Brandon, and Brianna are sitting in the living room. Brandon and Jacqueline are on the couch, while Brianna is sitting in a large chair adjacent to the couch.) Brandon: I'm so glad the two of you are finally getting to meet. Brianna: Me too. I've heard so much about you, Jacqueline. Jacqueline: All good things, I hope? Brianna: Of course. Now tell me, what is it you do for a living? Jacqueline: I'm a commercial real-estate agent. Brianna: That must be very interesting work. (Jacqueline sips her wine, and sighs.) Jacqueline: Well, it has its ups and downs. How about you? Brianna: I'm working as an assistant on the talk show Wave. But I'm also working on a degree in art education. Jacqueline: So that artistic sense runs in the family, huh? Jacqueline: I suppose so, but my specialty is painting. I'm not half the photographer Brandon is. (Brandon laughs.) Brandon: Yes, but I can't paint to save my life, so we're about equal. (They all chuckle, as a buzzer sounds from the kitchen. Brandon announces that dinner is ready. He gets up from the couch and walks through the door into the kitchen. Brianna stands from her chair and moves to the couch, next to Jacqueline. She begins speaking, in a whisper.) Brianna: So, how long do we have to pretend we don't know each other? (Jacqueline looks over her shoulder to make sure Brandon hasn't re-entered the room.) Jacqueline: Brandon can never know that we are working together, Brianna. I'm paying you very well to keep your mouth shut. Brianna:I don't have a problem with that, Jacqueline. But don't you dare hurt my brother, or I will blow you sky high. He matters more to me than all the money in the world, and I won't let your vendetta against Erica Kane hurt him. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Skye: Adam: (Skye is inside her hotel room. She is on her phone.) Skye: Hi, Lila Rae. I hope your having fun in Europe with your grandmother. I can't wait to see you, soon. I love you. I'm sure you're out having fun now, so just call me back when you get this, okay? Love you. (Skye hangs up the phone and sets it down. There is a knock on the door. She walks to the door and swings it open. She is stunned to see her father, Adam Chandler, standing in the hallway.) Adam: Hello, darling. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Thank you for tuning in! Mr. Vixen commented on Mr. Vixen's blog entry in Heaven's Meadow
Thanks you guys! Bright Eyes - You are definitely right about Skye. She really has ties to everyone, and helps to set up story for almost all of the characters, including herself. Tad will have more to do/be more fleshed out as the season goes on. LMAO about the siblings with the same initial. Well, we already know we can't trust Brianna...We'll just have to wait and see about Brandon. Carl, Thank you SO much for catching that. NO, Jacqueline is not also named Victoria. In my original story-board for the series, Jacqueline was going to be named Victoria. However, once I realized that I was also bringing on Victoria Lord, I didn't want to have two Victoria's on the cast. So her name was changed to Jacqueline, and I guess I just missed the change when I edited this episode! I fixed it now.So sorry about that. I understand why it's hard to get into new characters within fanfic, and I am glad you are enjoying Brandon/Jacqueline. They're a very complex duo, and will play a very important part in the show within the coming weeks. I'm glad you both enjoyed the cliffhanger. It's going to be an interesting dynamic down the road.
