Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
You make a good point. I just don't think that Nene would deliberately gay bash someone and I doubt she put as much thought into her words as we all seem to be. I have to say I was rolling at "your girlfriend in the red ball gown", and I never would have considered that to be a homophobic slur. Yes, it was probably inappropriate but nothing Nene said was malicious, at least not in her delivery. She didn't say "why did that stupid [!@#$%^&*] queen miss brandon DARE dial my number?" she threw shade but I didn't catch any vitriol behind it. That being said - she should apologize and choose her words more carefully in the future. The one issue with Nene - and I think the reason I ride so hard for her is because I can be the same way - is that if she didn't MEAN something the way it came across, she won't apologize. She didn't mean to emasculate Brandon, she just meant to throw shade. Now, her remarks came across poorly and she should clarify & apologize. But because she feels the intent wasn't negative, she doesn't see the need to apologize. And I think if she just did that, most of this would blow over.

I don't even think Nene meant to diminish Brandon based on his sexuality, but that is how it came off. However, I don't really think her calling him "miss" is as offensive as people are acting like it is. For Christ's sake we have a recurring person on this show named Miss Lawrence!

I guess you're right - it is all perception. My view would not have changed, I don't think. If Nene had done what Kenya did, she would have been just as wrong as I feel Kenya was. I'm very sorry if it came across that I was defending any of the men's actions as that was not what I meant to do. I think Apollo/Peter are absolutely disgusting. While I think Brandon overreacted, I commend him for defending Kenya and he proved, like you all said, that he is the only REAL man in that group (aside from Todd who wasn't involved). I HATE Christopher Williams, I think he is a pig & I think what he did was wrong. He should not have stood to address her, but he did not get up in her face the way Kenya was attempting to do to Natalie. As for him grabbing her, YES it was WRONG and inappropriate and I believe he owes her an apology. But I also do not think he did it to be violent or to hurt her, I think he was trying to protect his wife (who I also hate so it's not as if I'm stanning for the bitch), and I cannot fault him for that. I can, however, fault him for how he did it. I do think Kenya crossed the line. Christopher was out of line, yes. Nene did not promote a violent gathering at all. She herself didn't touch anyone or encourage anyone to hit anyone - she held Kandi back and talked her down, for Christ' sake! But I do say Nene stirred [!@#$%^&*] up and played a role, as I've said all along. If you read my posts I have shaded Cynthia a LOT for starting this mess by running her mouth. It DOES all stem back to her. But on the bus that day KENYA chose to get involved in that woman's marriage, she chose to clown someone she DOESN'T KNOW in front of a group of her peers. Did she honestly not expect that Natalie/Chris would defend themselves? When she got called out, she decided to try and be a bad bitch by getting in Natalie's face and it caused things to escalate out of control. That's where I stand and you ain't gonna change my mind!

I don't think the men are getting a free pass - Everyone is disgusted with them and as Nene said in her blog, they are responsible for their actions. Kenya is getting the blame for being shady and triflin' and setting most of this into action and then acting like she's blameless. I don't make it seem like Kenya was charging Natalie - she was! All of the people in the room have agreed. Even Kandi and Todd, who you and JP love so much, directly used the word CHARGED when referring to Kenya's actions. Nene didn't make it up and neither did I.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
All I've ever said is that I don't think it is at all unusual that Chris would try to stop Kenya. How he did it was wrong, as I've said over and over. But if any of us were in that situation and we saw someone charging (excuse me - walking serenely across a hotel room, as you'd like to see it), to get into our wife's face, we would attempt to stop it as well. He should not have grabbed her, but you all make it seem as if he threw the bitch down on the ground and kicked her in the face. He handled the situation poorly, that is for sure. But once the physical altercation broke out - he was hardly even a part of it. He didn't hit Brandon, Apollo, or Peter, and bowed out. He was hardly the most violent person in the room. That's just how I see it and that's how the people who were actually IN the room saw it too. And I think that speaks volumes. I find it difficult to believe that Nene, a former victim of domestic violence, would excuse Chris' behavior if it was genuinely done in the manner you all make it seem - no matter how much she dislikes Kenya. As for Nene lying at the table, you're right. She DID say Chris didn't touch Kenya at the table and what she says in her blog doesn't match up with that.I don't know if it was a lie or just her misarticulating/forgetting what she said. Either way, she should have said "OK, Kenya he did touch you…BUT…", I have no problem admitting she was wrong there. But y'all make it seem like Chris beat Kenya down and Nene pinned her down while he did it and that's where I take issue.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I've never claimed Nene was innocent and certainly never used the word victim. I enjoy posting with you JP but don't put words in my mouth or we will have an issue. I also never said being in a gay pride parade = she couldn't say anything homophobic? But I think you know that. All I stated was that her actions have never, ever implied that she is in the slightest homophobic and as *you* pointed out yesterday, one can say things that may be construed as homophobic without themselves being homophobic.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'm not defending what he did, I simply understand why he did it. That doesn't make it okay and I've said many times he chose the wrong way to handle the situation. That article was so poorly written and structured I couldn't even make it through the first paragraph.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'm not defending Chris - as he shouldn't have touched Kenya, but I'm gonna be honest and say he didn't violently grab anybody. He grabbed her arm because she was trying to be big and tough and defend the fact that she stuck her nose where it didn't belong. She meddled in someone's relationship and I'm sure she didn't expect that Christopher/Natalie would be there and that Christopher was going to get up and try to clown her in front of everyone. Being the "front peddler" that she is, she felt the need to prove her point and because even she knew she was dead wrong in her shadiness, the only way she knew to do that was to get crunk with Natalie. Christopher shouldn't have touched her, but please find me ONE man (or even woman) that's going to let someone get into their significant others personal space without intervening. He handled it dead wrong but his intent was far from wrong.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Maybe I missed something last night, but I didn't see anybody other than Porsha and Nene ever dispute that they saw Christopher grabbed Kenya.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Also - for as much as you want Nene to own her part in it all, where is the cry for Kenya to own her blame? Even if you don't think Kenya is mostly responsible (which she is), surely you realize that this all leads back to her running her mouth and interfering in someone's relationship/marriage. Yet there's no cry for her to own it. Hmmm. And that's not even getting into the fact that the bitch got out of her seat for no damn reason other than to be hood, but she gets a free pass. I mean, even two years ago when Nene got out of her seat on the bus during the altercation with Kim, people said she shouldn't have gotten in Kim's face like that. But Kenya gets a free pass, simply because people are anti-Nene. Very suspect, indeed.

I didn't see your post shading the ladies for defending him, but okay. I don't think she deflects. Nene WAS receiving a lot of hate on Twitter for writing the questions, so of course she is going to clarify that she didn't write them. She owns that she willingly asked them & stirred the pot so I am unclear what else she should be doing.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I've said it before and I'll say again that Nene isn't 100% blameless here, but the only thing she is guilty of is stirring the pot…And she clarified in her blog that she did in fact stir the pot, so as far as I'm concerned she's done what she needs to do. It's funny because Kandi and others defended Christopher's actions and you only seem to have a problem with Nene doing it, because you don't like her. (Not just you - several posters here). Also, I think Nene reads the board LOL cause she hashtagged something #QueenBee on twitter. I'm joking of course, but just in case let me say HI BOO!

I took a look at twitter and I would hardly say everyone is anti-Nene. I saw just as many comments saying Kenya was to blame and some saying Cynthia was to blame for ever bringing Natalie into it. I don't think Nene's downfall is as imminent as you think, and I don't say that just because I'm a Nene fan.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
She is queen bee and she's earned it! Not saying she's above anyone but she's earned her place and all those ladies know that. Kenya can spin it how she wants, but she is intimidated by Nene and unless Nene leaves, Kenya will not come out on top & she needs to realize that. Lol wasn't my first choice but the other one wouldn't embed from my phone lol! Y'all have me all up in this mess at work.

Also - Phaedra said "twirl on that" first. If Kenya's going to run with this whole theme she should at least come up with her own slogans. I'm sure there's a catchy slogan hidden somewhere underneath that messy weave.

Don't make me regret fighting to get you validated!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Lol that wasn't directly aimed at you, Cheap. But never forget you were a Nene fan first bitch.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Because I am a real fan! I do not think she's lily white, but she's not doing anything she didn't do when y'all loved her. But now that it's "cool" to love Miss Stallion Implants y'all just stay jumping ship! I don't roll like that hunni - and I don't even dislike Kenya! I'm just glad all this mess hasn't ruined our rapport as posters. No matter how much you hoes turn on Nene and act all triflin - I love you guys and enjoy posting with you.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Y'all are triflin, and I'ma leave it at that. Lol

Nene admits to stirring the pot and clarifies she didn't write the questions. I'll let you read for yourself but her blog is very succinct and classy. Shuts it all right down.
