Eva vs Kat is where it at. 🔥 Martin/Smitty scenes was also good stuff, it’s so great to see a gay couple get such honest and complex writing. So far this has been a very good start to the week, with very little focus on Ashley/Derek.

Jamey’s first episode as a writer for BTG was pretty good (best of the week so far). Maybe he’ll do well on this soap bc he certainly sucked on DAYS.

I loved the Vegas wedding hosted by an Anita impersonator. It was fun, but wasn’t overdone like say some of the supposed humor Ron used to do at DAYS. (Reminded me of the humor you’d see on OLTL during the Tomlin era)

Add me to the list of folks who don’t consider Jen Jacobs a bad actress, it’s just the writing. Hell Ashley as a character could be turned around and become a fan favorite, but currently it’s the writing that is letting her down.

I anticipate this being better than when the town was given those sweets from Sweet Bits and I think Jadas sister had something to do with it? Now that was LAME.

While Wednesday episode was a low point for me as a viewer, Thursday and Friday made up for it as both episodes built up anticipation for next week. Loved the dialogue and character interactions. Bring on next week! This one was where characters were set up to be players in the next phases of their stories.

That was a good scene that at first would assume would be played for laughs, but TMG really added layers to that scene.

In regards to Leo and Javi; Paula/Jeanne are miracle workers, because normally I would’ve fast forwarded those scenes. lol

Y&R needs to redirect their funding for these high priced actors and direct it towards sets and hiring extras 😂 cuz this ain’t it. and try to lure a talented writer out of retirement

Co sign. I didn’t expect this story to be the catalyst for so many reveals like Andre/Dani to Bill and Chelsea’s sexuality being revealed to Bill. Good stuff.

Always could see her ending up on Y&R but it’s a given that she will be horribly wasted.

The story shifting from what we assumed was a cookie cutter tale based off of Fatal Attraction to a story about dangers of posting your whole life on social media is an interesting shift, and I’m looking forward to see how this impacts Chelsea after she is rescued.

That’s what I’ve really liked about the writing as of late, the maturity and the fact that the shows does make a valid attempt to delve deep into a characters motivations. No more scenes being played as a joke when they should be written seriously.

The show is missing out by not having Shawn and Jada at the courthouse, I feel as if the reveal of EJ and Belles involvement to the court needed to have Shawn’s presence (maybe have him comfort Belle too and chastise EJ).

The production, the writing, the acting for today’s show was PERFECT. TT got her Emmy reel today, and Steven Williford got his reel for best directing.

I’m sure somewhere down the line Kat will meet a nerdy boy who works in the lab at Garland Memorial and he will rock her world unexpectedly. Jk

She was larger than life. Damn.

The actor that plays Jacob has chemistry a lot of folks in the cast.
