Judge Salas, who spoke for about 10 minutes in the Newark courtroom, said she considered sparing Teresa Giudice from prison. In the end, however, the judge said she needed to send a message.
“For a moment, I thought about probation," Salas said. "For a moment."She later added: "I need to send a message that it isn’t who you are, how famous you are. If you do something wrong, there will be consequences to pay.”

Looks like I was wrong in regards to her getting out early.Prosecutors were arguing to judge if Teresa walks, it proves that if you’re famous, you can lie to the court and commit bank fraud. #RHONJ
TMZ claims she doesn't have to report until January 5 while the tweeter (who was in the courtroom) says she has to report within the next month and a half. We shall see.

Looks like she will have to sit out Season 7 of NJ. I fully expect Andy to have a post sentencing interview, in jail interview, and a bunch of hoopla for her return in Season 8. If I were her I would go ahead and knock out the sentence now so I can get it over with.
15 months for Teresa then...I do wonder how many of them she'll serve. Just crazy sad though....
She will serve all 15 months. Rarely do people get out early when they're in federal prison.

I posted an article a couple weeks ago that basically said Dina refused to filn wwith her and Teresa wasn't either in support of Dina.Based on her interviews I'm even doubting she filmed with Teresa, but we'll see.
