I was about to ask if you were going this year. I can't wait for the new year and the Aussie Open.
@Toups would know about posting a live video from FB. I actually think you can just post a link to your video on here and posters can just click on that link.
Thanks for that,
There was a great write up in today’s paper but having a little trouble linking it. May have to wait until I get back to work on Tueday.

Does anyone know how to post a FB live video here.
I have a three day ground pass for the Aussie Open and may go live on Facebook.

For anyone who cares, former U.S. Open champion Sam Stosur has a stress fracture in her right hand and is out of the U.S. Open.
As an Australian, I for one don't care.

Speaking of Goolagong, I see that there is a petition going around to rename MCA after Goolagong. I love this idea! Goolagong may not have the load of titles but she was a trailblazer in many ways and has continued to do outreach to indigenous and marginalized people to this day!
Sometimes when you are taking measure of an athlete, you have to consider impact and not just the amount of big titles and on court wins before making an endowment of such magnitude as naming an entire arena after someone.
Clijsters won at least one major title, U.S. Open, after returning from maternity leave/retirement. She was also in her twenties. If anyone can defy the odds, it would be Serena.
I think she also win the Australian open as well.

I hope that Serena Williams does come back and smashes Margaret Court's grand slam record.
And I hope Tennis Australia changes the name of the arena.
I for one will boycott it until they do.

When was the last time that the No 1 seed in both men's and woman's and the No 2 in either the men's or women's' draw in a grand slam event didn't make the quarter finals?

LMAO at Jim Courier picking Jack Sock to beat Tsonga. I just love how they continue to pimp these loser players. Jack is losing of course....LOL and one of the linesman reported him for verbal abuse which then he gave him a dirty look to hit a ball towards him and getting a code warning then it lead to more looks and then challenging a call from the linesman that reported him ...to the ball clearly being out that he hit....LOL. Jack Sock and Jim Courier are a hot mess...LOL
lol I thought it said Jack Sook for a moment there.

This may hit your news feeds, as it happened in a popular shopping area, especially with the tourists in town.
The chase apparently started where people would either catch a tram or walk to the tennis.

Well the rain has stopped and it is dry outside.

Well it seems that Melbourne's weather is a little shell shocked as well with Djokovic's lose.
It it has been raining all night and is still raining now.
At least there will be play on three courts.

I don't think that I have ever seen some one be so upset on winning a grand slam lol.
Williams wins 6-3 7-6

Serena is not looking good at all, I don't mean tennis wise but health wise.
A lady at work has got a cough that is similar and she has had it for the last couple of weeks and is finding hard to shake.

A sandy dance floor in an expanded beer garden will be free with a ground pass.
And “Tokyo Alley’’ — a Japan-inspired zone featuring a karaoke bar, video games and Asian food — will add another dimension to an event increasingly focused on more than just the best tennis.
Australian Open director Craig Tiley said the new attractions went “the extra mile’’ to try to make the tournament the most engaging event of the summer calendar.
“We pride ourselves on being the most fan-friendly event and are constantly striving to give everyone more and more reasons to be here,’’ he said. “When you add in the world-class tennis and music, there really is no better place to be this summer than the Australian Open.’’
