Brandi ain't going NOWHERE. This season from everybody's accounts is going to be epic and they have finally gotten a cast that works. Lisa Rinna has been a huge hit, ratings are UP before anything has even happened and while the jury is out on Eileen, the fact that she's heavily feuding with Brandi and the cast is siding with her speaks volumes. I can't wait til things kick off.

Episode 4 - Livin La Vida Housewife:

The two Lisas bond as Vanderpump invites Rinna to watch her receive a plaque on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. Before jetting off for a family trip to Spain, Kyle fears that her coughing sister Kim will make her ill. But all is heavenly when Kyle arrives in Mallorca and settles into her 100-foot-long private yacht. Yolanda joins Kyle for fun in the water and sightseeing in the gorgeous town. But the perfect vacation is ruined when Yolanda gets a phone call with horrible news about her daughter Bella.

Episode 5 - Star Sighting: Kyle returns early from Spain to attend Kim's daughter's wedding. Eileen reprises her soap opera role on the "The Young and The Restless."

RHOA Episode 5 description -

Claudia gets settled into her new life in Atlanta with Kenya's help and also begins to open up about her troubled family history. Meanwhile, Kandi makes plans to put her old house on the market but is shocked once she and Todd uncover its alarming condition. Cynthia'sfrustration concerning her defunct friendship with NeNe hits a peak, causing her to vent to her mom and sister. Hoping to get all the women to move past their issues, Kandi organizes a dinner so they can all hash out their differences, but Phaedra and Kenya get into it yet again when it comes to Apollo’s infamous lies. Plus, NeNe and Cynthia come face to face for the first time in months, which leads to a rollercoaster of emotions.

There are pictures with Camille filming with Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson (along with everyone else), so she'll be back. I know Adrienne will as well from the super trailer.

That is a synthetic shake and go wig. That wig is trash. It isn't even a lace front. That wig is worse than what she wore to the last reunion. She needs a hair intervention.

I just can't take this anymore! I'm a broke drag queen and my wigs look better than hers! I have wigs that cost $25 that would be more TV ready than this nonsense on her head. HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?! How does she expect to book a regular hosting gig looking like that? Why does her makeup look like a black Baby Jane?!

All the girls have said that once Eileen arrives that the show is going to immediately transform. They said the quiet, pleasantries are over.

I'm re-watching season one of RHOBH and it's crazy how entertaining it is. Camille is a boss as bitch and Kyle was never better. I feel like Kyle lucked out since it was season one, so nobody knew if they should believe Camille's claims, but now I absolutely believe Kyle said what Camille accused her of. If you look at how Kyle has done Lisa and Brandi initially, it is totally in character.

I had also somehow forgotten how strained the relationship between Kyle and Kim was, and Taylor and Russel are just totally creepy.

I think Carlton got better as the season progressed. I liked her feud with Kyle and friendship with Lisa. I agree with Andy in saying that the producers failed her by pushing the sex storylines and not letting her show more interesting aspects of her personality.

Yea I'm out if Caroline is back.

I've always hated Porsha as yall know, but this season she is really appalling, but I love that they are digging deep into her coochie crack. Even Nene, who is using her for a screen partner, is shading the hell out of her. She can stay if these draggings will continue!! And Cynthia is sublime this season. I've always liked Cynthia and from her first episode I feel like she has brought it completely independent of Nene. I hate that people think she's acting differently, because I feel we've seen this Cynthia each season, except her first when she got along with everyone.

Porsha and Claudia both confirmed they didn't know Claudia was going to be a housewife. Porsha thought she still had a peach and Claudia thought she was going to be a Friend. Demetria was meant to be the new housewife.

Confidence?! Nene?! She is the most insecure person on earth, which I also find part of her appeal!

Hater Nene is why she became so successful if we're being real. I LOVE insecure, hating Nene! She was fabulous last season!!

^ With Kandi it wasn't even about Wig. She was seething with jealousy from the moment she met Kandi because she knew Kandi had more money and status than her. She was SUCH A HATER! It was crazy. I just re-watched that season and couldn't believe how one-sided that feud was. Nene is a very entertaining hater though lol. That is when I like her the best.

Looking at the screenshots of Apollo's texas to Kenya, it was obvious he was trying to get some. He was texting her in the middle of the night clearly trying to set something up, but she wasn't biting. I wonder why nobody else every brings up the timing of those texas. Why was he texasing her in the middle of the night while Phaedra was asleep?

I'm wondering when we're going to see Claudia properly introduced. We know Demetria was meant to be the new wife and Claudia was only made full-time as a result of her strong performance. I wonder if that means we'll continue to see her pop up as Kenya's sidekick before they actually add her to the credits and introduce her.

They ruined momentum by changing the dates around like that. They should've allowed it to end it's run after RHOA.

Yall are a bunch of evil devils. As a fairly new drag queen (about 6 months), I know how difficult it is to get the drag makeup right. Just kidding, she is so tired. I strongly believe somebody is trolling her because there is NO WAY that she can look as bad as she does and it not be on purpose. My guess is that she is a terror behind the scenes (I've heard this from people at work, in the hotel industry) and so they purposely mess up her hair and makeup not caring if they have to use her again.

It's sad that with all her resources she can't beat her mug. I can't wait to see more of her this season though. I feel like she's going to be sour as hell.

Carolee Campbell played Carolee Simpson until 1976 when she left the show. There was a brief period when the character was off screen (and explained in storyline, which I'm not sure if I should spoiler) before Jada Rowland took over in the second half of the year.

Oh that is good to hear! I was just hoping I wasn't going to get hooked and she'd be gone shortly like Bethel Leslie. Glad she'll be around for several years.

Does anybody know how long Carolee Campbell played Carolee before Jada Rowland took over? I can't find any details on Wikipedia or IMDB with actual years for a lot of the cast members.

This felt very much like a special to catch us up on the girls. I didn't hate it, I actually liked it, but only because we know they're going to have at least 22 regular season episodes. I would prefer that (because they actually deliver) than the shortened New Jersey season with everything cut or condensed. I'm sure by episode 2 and 3 (and whenever the new girls arrive) things will start to pick up and tie together.

I do think the contract issues with Nene will hurt the season overall. Tamara Tattles said not to expect a lot of Nene with the other girls, but primarily filming with Greg, Porsha and some scenes with Phaedra. She'll be absent from a lot of the group stuff as well. I really wouldn't be surprised if this was her last season if that pans out.

I liked this opening. They got us all caught up on everything, but it wasn't boring either. It was a good start to the season and next week looks good with the Kenya/Apollo confrontation. I am curious about when Claudia and Demetria will appear though. We know filming started early so there is really no telling. Episode 3 is when they typically add new wives these days, but it could be sooner or later. We'll see. I wonder if the same thing will happen with Beverly Hills since we know Taylor, Adrienne AND Camille are back in the beginning.

I really can't believe RHOA is back tonight. It seems like it has been forever and a day! I can't wait to see this first episode and how everything comes together. I'm also curious when they will announce a companion show for RHOA. I believe the three shows that will follow it are Thicker Than Water, Blood Sweat & Heels and Married To Medicine. Of course they could have a new show in the works and plan on moving one of those other shows to a new night, but they usually like to keep all the "black" shows on Sundays.

I know Joyce did have the Hollywood connections, but she just came off so low rent due to the way they associated her with Brandi and Carlton. I feel like last season was a failure because of producers NOT because of Joyce or Carlton themselves. They are the ones who pick which stories to pursue and they failed Carlton and Joyce in that regard.

I can see where the money would be nice, but these are toxic shows, with fanbases that often love to pick and find flaws and get too personally involved. Their lives and families are the property of editing, and production agendas. For someone with a decent career in the industry, I think it's a huge roll of the dice.

See I see that, but a good smart person can do well on reality tv, even Housewives. Kandi and Cynthia from RHOA have mainly just benefited and Carole and Heather did well on NYC. It's just that when people DO have a fall from grace it's usually huge.

I don't understand why people don't understand Eileen doing this. I could see her being honored that they're going for a top tier soap star and not just a random no-name. For Beverly Hills it makes perfect sense. I think a good number of soap stars wish they were in Eileen's position right now. They're trying to up the glamour because Joyce and Carlton, despite money, had no Hollywood connections and felt too down market for Beverly Hills. Perhaps they could've been on Orange County.

Kim has gotten a HUGE pass for so many things because of her addition issues. Something like this though is open and shut. I could understand if the dog attacked one person, but FOUR?! Including her niece who he bit to the bone where she had to have TWO surgeries?! What is there to discuss?? What is WRONG with her? Instead of everyone dancing around her issues I want her to have to actually take responsilbiity for something and apologize. I've been long over her.
