VENDETTA TRIVIA QUESTIONS: WEEK ONE!!!

This week there are only 3 questions. They will typically be 3-5 questions a week based on the episodes from the past week (In this week's case, all episodes from 3/19/07-3/23/07 are fair game). Answers are due to me, PhoenixRising05, in a PM by Tuesday at 4PM, which is around the time the next VENDETTA clip will be up. Correct answers and fastest time are both counted in this so the quicker and more accurate the better. This will be the system we follow every week until further notice. Below the trivia questions, you will the current scores for the game. This is based on the amount of comments each player accumulated this week. The player with the most comments gets 10 points. On Tuesday, after all answers are recieved, I will tally the scores and add them to your comment score and post them with the VENDETTA clip. The top 3 in scores will recieve VENDETTA clues. You may not share these clues with anyone as everyone is in this for themself. Highest score gets a level 1 clue, 2nd highest gets level 2, and third highest gets level 3.

INSIDER SPOTLIGHT: DRAKE HOGESTYN STOPS IN TO TELL US ABOUT HIS TRANSITION FROM JOHN TO ROMAN, HIS HEAVY WORKLOAD, AND ON WHAT SALEM'S BELOVED HERO WILL DEAL WITH NEXT.

Interviewer (I): Hi Drake. Long time, no talk.

Drake Hogestyn (DH): Hey. It has been awhile. Great to be here.

I: First off, tell us how last year went for you. How did you feel when the new regime took over and told you that you would be playing Roman again?

DH: I wasn't stunned. I knew Tim (Lowery, EP/HW) and his co-HW Patrick (L. Ewing, Co-EP/HW) wanted to do it. They told me on the first day they felt it should've never been changed and that they wanted me to return to being Roman. I love the way it was handled. They took care of every detail and made it make sense. The way it happened during the island story, which I loved, was fantastic. It was a whirlwind couple of months. Actually, from the time the new regime took over until the end of the year was a whirlwind. So much happened and it was one big thing after another, at least for my character.

I: Was it hard transitioning into playing Roman again?

DH: Not really. At first, it was but you pick it back up after awhile. I played Roman for a long time, not as much as John but still. Alot of the elements I put into John are elements I put into Roman when I played him. The difficulty is to make sure you don't play them similar and that you make sure the audience can make the distinction. If they feel Roman is too similar to John, then I'm not doing my job. I need to pay special attention to that but I think it has gone well.

I: Since going back to being Roman, he has been through alot. You had Marlena's (Deidre Hall) "death," the Dimera/Kiriakis war, reuniting with Sami (Alison Sweeney) finally, Marlena's return, the big reveal about concealing Bo's (Peter Reckell) molestation with Kim (Patsy Pease), and now you have an emotional story with Marlena where she is dealing with MPD. You are everywhere!

DH: Tell me about it. You also left out my involvement in the MCF story and in my daughters' stories. It's fun but it's exhausting. I have some time off coming up but then it's right back to the grinder after that. I don't mind working but it does get confusing since I am in so many stories but I like how Roman has become so pivotal again. I like the flaws being exposed in him like his lie to his loved ones about the ISA mission and his sin of omission concerning Bo being molested. It gives me more to play and no one wants to play a character that is perfect because no one is meant to be perfect. I am enjoying myself being back in Roman's shoes. There has been lots of action, drama, suspense...it's been a blast. Sydney was great...everything is fun to me right now.

I: I know you have to go but can you give us some hints on what is coming up?

DH: Not many. There are still some issues in Roman's past that need to be dealt with. The MCF story is heating up. Roman has to deal with some issues with his children and he has a big fight on his hands with Marlena and her condition. His being in an unholy alliance with Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) and Victor (John Aniston) will lead to something no doubt. I can't go into much as this VENDETTA thing is so huge none of us want to blow it so I will just shutup now before I blab (laughs).

I: Well, thanks for joining us. I know you are really busy so we appreciate it.

DH: No problem. Happy to do it. Back to work I go but let's do this again sometime!!
