It's my favorite Fleetwood Mac album, and as Mick Fleetwood said, was the blueprint for what they would become. A few days ago I started listening to it again for the first time in a few years and kept going back to Danny's songs - so clear and haunting and brilliant. And I started reading up on his life again. And now he's gone. I guess someone wanted me to appreciate his talent one last time. Without Danny and Bob Welch, what Mac would become never would have had a chance to even exist. Brilliant musicians who gave so much of themselves. Kirwan's material in particular will stay with me for a long, long time. What a genius of an artist. I'm glad he is at peace now and I hope he knows now how appreciated he was.
