Tim Burton was a godsend to Batman, but his ideas for Superman perhaps would not have worked.   Someone made a documentary about his failed attempt at bringing Nicolas Cage to the screen, and I have to say Burton was ahead of his time, especially when it comes to the underwear.   I fall into the yes to underwear camp, and don't really feel Henry Cavill captures Superman at all, but Cage was too ethnic and not handsome enough imo.  Anyway, this looks interesting and does contain some rare footage of Cage.
