Members Huntress
30 years after the original "Band Aid" released the charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas", another remake has been recorded. This time, the proceeds of the single's sales will be donated to fight Ebola. The song again went #1 in the UK and several other European countries. For the first time, versions in French and German (with artists from these countries) were recorded. Do you think that charity singles still have any impact these days? Obviously people bought the song, but considering that songs like "Last Christmas", "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and the likes return to the charts each year as well, I think people just buy it because it is "another Christmas song". Anyway, here are the three different versions: English Artists: Bono (U2), Clean Bandit, Alfie Deyes, Disclosure, Paloma Faith, Guy Garvey (Elbow), Ellie Goulding, Angelique Kidjo, Chris Martin (Coldplay), Olly Murs, Sinead O'Connor, One Direction, Rita Ora, Emeli Sandé, Seal, Ed Sheeran, Dan Smith (Bastille), Sam Smith, Joe Sugg, Zoe Sugg, Underworld, Jessie Ware http://youtu.be/aUzHVIDCbMM French Artists: Renaud, Carla Bruni, Louis Bertignac, Nicola Sirkis, Louane, Tété, Jean-Louis Aubert, Richard Kolinka, Zaz, Christophe Willem, Yannick Noah, Vanessa Paradis, Joey Starr, Amandine Bourgeois, Thomas Dutronc, Mat Bastard, Benjamin Biolay http://youtu.be/Oun7kx49ZWU German Artists: 2raumwohnung, Adel Tawil, Andreas Bourani, Anna Loos, Clueso, Cro, Die Toten Hosen, Donots, Gentleman, Ina Müller, Jan Delay, Jan-Josef Liefers, Jennifer Rostock, Joy Denalane, Marteria, Max Raabe, Micki Beck, Milky Chance, Patrice, Peter Maffay, Philipp Poisel, Sammy Amara, Seeed, Silbermond, Sportfreunde Stiller, Thees Uhlmann, Udo Lindenberg, Wolfgang Niedecken http://youtu.be/ef1irEsEEMw
