Is Carrie and Austin ever going to return to "Days"?

I hardly watch "Days" anymore, but I always liked Carrie and Austin. I know that Austin Peck is now on ATWT and Christie Clark is busy with a new family, but have there been any rumors or rumblings about the characters possibly returning that anyone's aware of? Anna's been back on the show for a couple of years now. Now how about her daughter?

What about Patrick Muldoon as Austin and if Christie Clark isn't available, Erin Hershey Presley?

Does Anna even mention Carrie at all?
