OMG, I just started the Ricki Lake clip... wooooooow!

Now I know why she doesn't sing for real on stage anymore! Girl doesn't have range worth a damn! LoL She sounds like a yodeling cat or something. Not pretty.

This is pretty nostalgic, though.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Discussion Thread

I always get why the sixth season gets the flak it gets because of how dark and real it was. But I do think that's what made it as brilliant as it was. But yes, Joss will likely never be involved again, especially if they want Sarah Michelle Gellar involved.

She has gone on record stating it is not her favourite because she found it too dark and that it betrayed the core of who Buffy was as a character and often cites that she cannot rewatch the season and did not enjoy the production aspect of it. Which is why season seven righted the "wrongs" of the sixth season.

I can understand that, but I also suspect TPTB are not rushing to use their budget re-up this go 'round, which I believe is smart. Do I suspect the clinic could pop up at some point? Yes. Do I think it's a necessity? No.

I seem to recall an episode where Jason, Spinelli and I think Sam gave that MonaVie [!@#$%^&*] to someone who was unconscious or whatever. At the time, as I watching that, I thought ABC was taking an enormous risk by aiding and abetting what was clearly a Ponzi scheme on Burton's part, lol.

FYI: Coster's wife at the time, Candace Hilligoss, who's best known for her work in the cult horror classic, "Carnival of Souls," published a memoir many years later about their marriage, called "The Odyssey and the Idiocy." According to the one-time Mrs. Coster, marriage to Mr. Coster was no day at the carnival either, lol.
