I haven't been following ATWT lately...but why is Casey going to jail??

Casey had a gambling problem. He had goons coming after him threatening him and wanting their money.

Barbara gave Will some bonds to use to finance Gwen's music career. He locked them up in the safe at Crash,Lisa's club that Gwen and Casey were running. Casey stole them to pay off the thugs.

There's a lot more to this like Adam planting one of the bonds to make it look like Will did it,etc., but that is the gist of it. The truth came out. Now Casey is going to prsion.

Since Zach Roering didn't renew his contract this is a way to get Casey off canvas until they can recast him.

Don't forget Casey jumped bail when he ran after Maddie and the rest of the gang. He may of gotten off easier who knows though.
