I'm beginning to fear Hooked was right with her original prediction that there will be no LuNacy this week.

And now some celebrity BINGO for dorianfan who I am willing to leap and assume is in fact a "Dorian" fan. I had a Robin Strasser sighting at The Pottery Barn a couple years ago. It was surreal because she was wearing a turbon kinda thingy on her head and she was carrying a tiny frou frou dog with her. It was all very Elizabeth Taylor, or I guess very Dorian. But I thought it was funny.

That's kinda funny, last night after being out and drinking too much I suffered from my usual insomnia. I did the random Jane Elliot Google and I came across a article where JE was talking about Mary Beth Evans.

Has this been discussed in the BR? Is Adrian Elliot on myspace JE's Adrian? Seems like he is, and Scott Clifton is one of his friend pics. Coincidence? And I'm not sure about JE's orientation Lainey, but her son seems to at the least swing both ways?

I don't know the ins and outs, and she's far too private to discuss it in an interview. I can't remember where I read it but that was the reason given when someone was appalled that she is never on the list.

I hope that is the reason as well. Otherwise it is appalling!

There have been a few 'versions' of this list floating around, but this does seem to be the most consistent. It would be lovely for a qualifying actress to win it this year. It should be JE, of course, but she doesn't submit her name anymore. I guess once to prove she could, is enough for our girl.

Oh, is that the deal? She doesn't submit herself anymore? Has she spoken of that in interviews or anything?

As far as how Ashton "died"...., in 1990 (December if I remember correctly); Ashton out of the blue proposed to Tracy after her breakup with Scott. If you guys think Guza is the only one who doesn't follow up on scenes....that scene was a Friday cliffhanger and we didn't see them for days, and when we finally did, it was the two of them in a different room with Tracy once again refusing him (they never showed the first refusal) because she felt there was no passion in his voice when he asked her.

Shortly after this, the Q's boat, the SS Tracy, sank, and Tracy, Larry, and Ned all had to go live in the gatehouse because Monica closed off a wing of the house to save money. Monica threatened to cut even more expenses and that's when Tracy told Larry to leave (I missed their final scenes) and he left town.

Shortly after, Leopold Taub, Harlan Barrett (originally slated to be played by TG), whom Tracy dated, and Cesar Faison were all shown as being part of the Cartel that was supposed to take over ELQ. There were references to a fourth man never mentioned for a while, until eventually it was revealed it was Larry. Because Harlan, and then Paul (who was, it was later revealed was being blackmailed into cooperating, which I always thought was a last minute rewrite to make him a good guy, because when he first started it was obvious he wasn't a good guy, I thought) both tried to seduce Tracy, and Paul was successful at marrying Tracy, it was implied Larry's proposal was also supposed to be for the purpose of getting his hands on Tracy's stock.

At any rate, there was talk among the other three that the fourth man needed to be eliminated, and then talk that it was done. Larry was shown once onscreen months after he'd left PC, in a restaurant with Anna and Robert while they were on their honeymoon. It was around this time that he was referenced by the other men as having been "taken care of." I don't remember any onscreen indication of this happening. I don't even remember the Q's hearing that he had "died". Of course, he wasn't talked about hardly ever after that. I don't know if Ned mentioned him to Lois or Alexis or anyone else, and if he did, I don't know if anything was ever said about him being dead or alive. I think it's entirely possible that since they rewrote Paul as a good guy, that Paul averted the attempt to kill him and Larry is alive somewhere.

It's sad, as I said before, that TIIC don't care enough about the Q's to bring him back. A triangle with him, Tracy and Luke would rock.

Thinking about him....there are more than a few similarities between him and Luke. He's more "foppish", but the wanderlust and the need for excitement and adventure are the same.

Sorry for the long story. LOL I think that there is more story to tell there. It would make a good fan fic, to give "Trash" some closure...or not. In "Solace", a GH fan fic that includes Tracy, Larry hooks up with Helena Cassadine, and Tracy hooks up (sort of ) with Victor Cassadine, with whom she'd had a previous affair, and I have a link to that (unfinished) story if anyone wants me to note the Tracy chapters, I'd be glad to send anyone a link to it.

Thanks. I remember the proposals and him leaving. And I vaguely remember Larry in reference to the cartel and all that. I think I just put up a mental block on it all because in my mind Ashton would have never done that to Tracy.

And they barely established a death with his character, they could so easily bring him back. I would like him to serve as Tracy's personal assistant at ELQ. Or maybe Luke, Larry, & Spinnelli could all open up a P.I. office together, and Tracy would be Boss Lady.

Okay that's it for me. But my question for today is: What is up with Monica's inner dialog voiceovers? That is so cheesy. Make it stop.

So my computer totally crashed last night and I didn't get it fixed until about an hour ago. Of course my main concern was I was missing all kinds of LuNacy info and such. Luckily checking in right now, it doesn't look like I missed too much. I went and did my daily voting on the sites. Looks like our work has worked over at GH the soap. But I noticed we dropped a percent at the Soaps in Depth poll.

It is my day off and I WILL write some snail mail.

In response to ILTQ, I agree that he should have to work at Kelly's a bit longer. I'd love to see that. Then again, I think if he moves back in while he is still hating him we can get, either, a War of the Roses type of interaction or we can have her still hating him but him trying to win her back and he is unavoidable if he lives there, she'll have to deal with him and he'll wear her down (hopefully that would mean lots of scenes... which makes me sure it wouldn't happen, but oh well). It could be great to have him trying to win her back when she has no way of getting away from him. Plus she could take that as an opportunity to drive him as crazy as he did her, he can see her leaving to go out with other men or living her life without him and getting past the trying to convince him and herself phase.

Just a though- wanted to find something positive and good about them bringing him back to the Manse!

OT- got the job at the bank! HAven't heard back from anything else yet, but I had an interview last Friday that went really well, so she sent me to meet with someone else in another branch today. This lady was laughing the whole time cuz it was a prety chill interview. I walked out with her saying "Well, Kristin, I think you are absolutely lovely and that's exactly what I'm gonna tell Jennifer, so count on hearing from her with an offer in a few days". Thank god cuz I need me some money and insurance. And I'm doinf an a$$load of painting so I can start selling them (hopefully) at restaurants and the Greenwich festival and Milford Oyster Fest in the summer cuz those people have got some serious dough to spend on nothing. We were from Milford before here and my parents grew up there and they said all the New Yorkers sumemr there and want to "take back a piece of their summer" from the festivals when they leave".

Congrats on the gig and especially the insurance. I was self employed forever, insurance is huge.

Here's another festival idea,you should try to hook up with The Hamptons art fair too. If you can get out there. I think it's fairly new. Anyway I catered out in SouthHampton for a few summers. Talk about people with money to burn. My boyfriend at the time sold his artwork at different little fairs throughout town. We both cleaned up during those summers!! Just a thought. Good luck!

Yes, I just checked out the new Tracy/Luke site! I like the colors and it's good to have that info handy so we always know where it is. The site was put together by NancySpencer and the idea for a site did not just come from me, it came from Nancy as well and a need to have a place for the promotion of our fave couple. Anything we want can be added to it. I vote for adding Ms. Q's compilation of "The Best of TQ '07". As well as Ms. Q's rhyming Tracy Bio! Yoohoo! Stace, time to update

I'm going to get rocks thrown at me by Lainey, most likely, but I'm not in a real hurry for that reunion. It doesn't have to be Valentine's day for me, in fact...I'd love a May sweeps renewing of the vows, for their third anniversary. It wouldn't even have to be a big deal, just him talking her into dinner, and giving her back her ring, and then when they're alone, a "vow" renewal of sorts...and then, back to the state room.....

Yeah, I mean, I want them together, but I do think he must work for it, and I don't want it overnight because it will feel like he DIDN'T work for it, know what I mean?

ETA I do still want Lacy to have plenty of scenes together, like today. I just think there should be some near misses, before the "reunion" is for real.

I'm totally with you on this one. I think it needs to take time. I think that is mostly the point of this s/l, to make Luke work for Tracy. The nay sayers complain, he doesn't show Tracy that he loves her, he only loves her for her money. This is a chance for Luke to prove them wrong(And win over some new LuNacy fans). And Rome wasn't built in a day. As long as we get scenes of them working it out, however that plays out, I'm on board. So you needn't duck rocks from me.
