Oh, you can tell winter is back.... my weather network of Ms. Q and Lady A is kicking in nicely. Toronto is so huge that they are watching the storm track across the city via traffic cameras. 6 inches already, eh? Kids are going to love that when it's finished. A few weeks ago they were predicting a green Christmas. Guess we don't have to worry about that - now we just have to worry about getting to church. WOW, Environment Canada is saying 2-4 cm an hour, with up to 25-30 expected when it's over, with snow squalls expected off of Lake Ontario. I'm not seeing any spoilers that are fresh, and someone on SD pointed out that with Prospect on Christmas Break, we probably aren't going to get any legit spoilers. Hooked, you picked a good time to be away. Flurries have started now in the East End (where I am) and you can smell the snow in the air. Days like this are why I homeschool.

Thank you for putting that together, Star. I know the theme was there but it's been awhile since I've watched some of them and others not at all. The hospital is a big part too, but Guza has promised everyone is involved, so we're basically getting a 3 months sweeps. I hope it's worth his bluster.

Thanks for the clarification. I took the time to check out IMDb, and it's a 1944 murder mystery film that won an Oscar for Cinematography. But someone I doubt fans of ewcbo will look beyond the title. Anything from the insider on what distracts Luke or how Tracy's life is on the line? That does sound sad.... but perhaps that's what will get to her. That's her family and all she has to do is claim it. She's been alone so often because everyone else has walked away from her, but this time it's her choice. We also don't know how much more will happen. One line doesn't tell us much. Have they said anything more about the Xmas montage? Last read LuNacy were in it together. I don't think Tracy watching them will be the same as Jason watching Liz/Cake through the window last year.

The sunset thing was on purpose I think, knowing the LnL diehards are expecting that as early as this Spring. I think it was a not-so-subtle pointed finger that it's not going to play out that way, so stop expecting it. Who knows how many letters, calls and emails are flying around from the 'entitled'. Today was a very good LuNacy day. I loved when Tracy thanked him for making the effort to fool her with the heart attack. This is what's lost on those who don't appreciate LuNacy - this is the kind of thing that would touch Tracy, not the flowers and chocolates routine. Luke was right on the money that she can't live in these scenarios of doom that she's created. He honestly doesn't know how he'd react, especially since he was quite clear with Laura that he was staying with Tracy. He would probably be dumbfounded if Laura pulled that kind of stunt. I'm just glad Tracy's resistance is being worn down and she'll be back in his arms by New Years. These were at Daytime Confidential: Robin and Patrick's Wedding... Mac tells Robert this is his moment to walk Robin down the aisle. So we'll get to see John J. York and Tristan Rogers in a brotherly scene. Epiphany, Kelly, Lainey, The Q's, Mac, Robert and Anna will all be there. Matt and Maxie will stand up for the Bride and Groom (although one source says Anna is asked to be Matron of Honor). Patrick makes it there on time although Maxie is stressed about Patrick taking his time to get ready. Someone new coming to Port Chuck? That's out there and SUPPOSEDLY this person COULD impact Luke and Tracy. Spencer Family Christmas? It looks like Luke, Lucky and Lulu come together to put Laura's angel on their tree. Certainly geek humour.; "Clef-chin Keeper of the Peace" - Spinelli's new nick-name for Lucky Spencer Sc. 1 - Luke tells Monica to back off, he has things to tell to Tracy. Monica says there isn't time, and tells Leyla to sedate him. Luke says no way, he's got to talk to his wife. Monica says you mean ex-wife, and she has no business even being here. Again Monica tells Leyla to sedate him and Luke says if you touch me I'll punch you, I need to talk to my wife. Smugly Tracy asks why? Sc. 2 - Luke says no offense, but last time Monica tried to operate on him she nearly got him killed. Monica says last time she was grieving her husband and she doesn't want Tracy to do the same. Luke continues to protest - he's got to tell Tracy he loves her. Monica says they haven't time to waste. Luke says "Tracy is the light of my life". And she's going to be wearing black if they don't get to the operation, Monica replies. Monica says the tests point it out. Luke says the tests, the monitors are all fake, it's a set-up. Monica and Leyla look surprised (not sure if they are pretending). Tracy smirks at Monica and says "Told you". Sc. 3 - Tracy saying not only did he commit fraud, he diverted valuable hospital resources and admitted to it in front of the Chief of Staff. Then Tracy turns to Monica and tells her to call the police to have Luke charged. Monica replies that she would love to turn Luke into the cops, but Tracy has made their lives miserable since your break up and it would be worse if he was in jail, so she's turning a blind eye. Tracy says that's it? Monica says if he ever tries that again she will press charges, but Tracy has been making the family miserable. Just admit that you love him and take him back so the family can live in peace again. Then Monica leaves and Tracy challenges Luke with his continued scams. Tracy gets annoyed at him for trying to play her. Luke says she's been playing him too. Tracy says she isn't and doesn't know what he's talking about. Yes you do, Wife, Luke replies. I am not your wife, she says. Oh yes you are, Luke chuckles as he smiles at her. Tracy looks caught. Sc. 4 - no LuNacy Sc. 5 - no LuNacy Sc. 6 - Luke walks to the Nurse's hub to apologize to Piph. She's not amused and she doesn't get it. Luke says he's a man in love. Not you, Piph says, then points over to Tracy. "Personally, I would have drop-kicked you into the next county, and if you ever drag me into one of my schemes again I will" Piph tells him. Luke smiles at the sight of Tracy and walks over to her sitting in the waiting area. "Any chance you're waiting for me?" Tracy says she is. She's happy he tried that stunt, she's happy he made the effort. Luke says he'd go further for her. Tracy says until Laura shows up and she's got a mackrel in the face again. Luke says that won't happen, she's not second. Fine, Tracy says, she's not second - but she certainly isn't first. Luke looks helpless. Sc. 7 - Luke leads Tracy to the sofa, saying he wishes he could pretend his life started in this moment. He wishes he could pretend Laura was never a part of his life but he can't. Tracy says she's not talking about the past. Luke says she is. When Laura got sick he figured the rest of his life would be a long list of industrial drinking broken up with a few meaningless hookups. Tracy says she was just one of them. Luke agrees that in the beginning he wanted into her bed and into her bank account, and he never imagined he would want a life with her, but that's all he wants now. Tracy says until Laura returns. Luke says he can't go back, it's not going to happen with Laura. Tracy says what if Laura called and needed him? Luke says Laura is the mother of his children, he loved her half of his life, she's got a terrible disease, he's be one cold bastard if he didn't do what he could to help her. Tracy says fine, what happens if Laura calls him and says she loves him and wants him back, then what. Luke says that's not going to happen. Tracy challenges him to answer the question. Luke looks frustrated and annoyed that she has created this overblown scenario that's not going to happen, and honestly he doesn't know what would happen if Laura ever did that. Tracy says she knows - he and Laura would walk hand and hand into the sunset, and she's not going to stick around to watch. With that Tracy gets up from the couch and walks away. Luke sinks back into the couchins exasperated, shaking his head and rubbing his eyes.

Can I just say I'm loving grown-up Lulu. She is so supportive of Tracy. I adore her. And all of these people - Lulu, Nicholas, Lucky, Alexis, Epiphany, Jax, Olivia and Sonny - have been hearing the same thing from Luke and telling him to cut the crap and show Tracy he means it. I wonder what the crescendo will be....

I know... wasn't that great!!! I was so proud of Lulu. OT, and speaking of pride: Ruah just came home from a Physics night at the University of Toronto. Remember, she's 10. Anyway the supervisor called me personally to tell me that Ru understood all the concepts they were teaching and was right in there, very quick with answers to the questions. Then she wrote a first year University level Physics test and got B+. This is my homeschooled baby who's never taken a test like that in her life. That crowing you hear is one proud mama.

Yeah, that sat poorly with me, but it does underscore the fact that TG is doing the lines as written. He's not making up the LnL-is-over stuff. That's straight from the writers with his endorsement. I'm going to chalk it up to the same writer who keeps putting "Step monster" in Lulu's dialogue. Both relationships have moved on.

Thanks Hooked. I'm sure not going to be able to fill your spoiler shoes on my own. I don't know about the rest of you but I'm very pleased with the constant mention of Laura and the fact that Luke isn't going anywhere away from Tracy. I just keeps underscoring the fact that Luke isn't interested in changing the past and he isn't interested in reliving it either. While I can't stand the 'angel', it would be suspect if they didn't acknowledge that she was alive and well somewhere else. At least we don't have to endure the rocker visits anymore. Hooked, I think the deal with TG's too long summer vacation was that he wouldn't take his usual month in January. That's the only way they could have all that time away. I don't expect him to be gone or to have some stupid 'leaving Tracy behind' story at this point. I think he's good until his new contract kicks in after February. I just hope they don't give him more than 3 months in the summer again. Twelve weeks we could do - 21 almost killed us.

Oh, I forgot Bobbie was supposed to help Luke out. It was Lulu whom he asked to talk to Tracy. It makes sense I guess, but seeing Bobbie going to Tracy about Luke would have been fabulous. I'm on spoiler/recap duty over the holidays, so I can send dates to you too, Nex. And Tracy will give in. But seriously, as much as we want it does it have to be easy on Luke?

Today's Recap (Wednesday, December 17th; Man, OLTL is really doing Christmas - does GH even have a decoration up yet?) STATS Vets: Luke, Tracy, Monica Kisses: still nuthin' Appearance: She looks good, dark print blouse. Judy Jetson hair. Stories: Aunt Raylene's Funeral; Sonny working in Jason's territory; Maxie/JoLu apartment drama; Luke continues heart scam; Scrubs Emma drama; Claudia does talk about Christmas.... but still no decorations; Johnny at tree place working; Scrubs and Claudia getting tree Line of the Day: "... violence of Biblical proportions and I'm expecting a plague of locusts any minute." Alexis to Sonny about all the violence in Port Charles Sc. 1 - no Tracy; Luke sneaks into the hospital, whistles to Phip who ignores him. Luke then yanks her over and tells her she has to admit him as a heart patient. Sc. 2 - no Tracy; Luke explaining that he can't be in ICU, he needs his privacy. Epiphany doesn't understand so Luke explains that he's got to get to Tracy. Epiphany starts saying that Tracy is a terror and it's gotten worse lately. Luke agrees says she's destructive, combative, and taking it out on hospital staff. "She misses me and if you help get her back peace will reign in your land." Piph doesn't understand, and Luke explains that it will take a heart attack - his heart attack. Sc. 3 - Tracy walking around den, looking out window and obviously looking for something. Monica enters with her needlepoint, and says Tracy obviously wants a favour. Tracy says she and Edward put Monica in place at the hospital and she could at least do her job. Monica says she was there all day and what is Tracy really up to? Tracy asks if there has been any new admissions to Cardelogy that she might be interested in. Meanwhile Piph is setting Luke up in bed and telling him this better work, or she's never heard of him. She also can't believe the trouble he's going through for "that woman". He tells Piph that if anyone had told him when he first conned Tracy into marriage that he would be jumping through hoops to keep this marriage he would have thought them insane. How was he to know they were a perfect match. Piph says she's rich and he's poor. Luke says yes, a perfect match. (Not liking how they reduced Luke to money, but at least he admits he loves her at other points today). Luke says the only time his Precious Popsicle expressed total devotion is when he's at death's door, and he thinks this will do it. Piph turns to leave but Luke calls her back telling her she has to calebrate the machines so it looks real b/c Tracy is no fool. Piph says there is only one way to get his wife back. Luke asks how, and she says to tell her you love her and mean it. Luke looks surprised at the notion. Sc. 4 - no Tracy; Lulu is upset Luke is in the hospital. He tells her he's faking it, and Lulu is not amused. Lulu says it's crazy, he says it's going to work. He wants Lulu to lie for him, going to Tracy and telling her Luke is in the hospital. Lulu says the problem is that she would be calling Laura in France. Luke says he didn't think of that, that she needs to tell Tracy that Laura is in recovery and Lulu needs Tracy to come save Luke. Luke tells her to tell Tracy she's the only one who can save his life. Lulu tells Luke he can tell that to Tracy. Sc. 5 - Luke admits faking this and it will work, but Lulu doesn't agree. Luke says he's tried, he's been begging her for weeks to take him back. Lulu says good, he should do more begging. Luke says no, you need to be respected by your life's partner. Lulu gets why Tracy is upset. Luke doesn't get it. Then what is she, Lulu asks? Lulu knows Tracy just wants to come first. She does come firsts, Luke yells at Lulu. You have to be honest with yourself Dad, you owe that to Tracy." Lulu kisses him on his cheek then leaves. Tracy walks in and Luke plays near death. Tracy says they tell her he's had a massive coronary.... Sc. 6 - Tracy says when he colappsed at the HS last night, perhaps she made a mistake by walking away. Luke says it's not an act, he really misses her. Tracy wants the emotional rollarcoster to stop. Luke says he misses her, he misses them. Tracy says he stepped back into his bad habits of drinking and poor living. Luke says she fell back into her old habits again of berating him, insulting him. Tracy says she only does that because.... Monica comes in at that moment and asks Tracy to leave. Tracy asks why and Monica says she needs to leave. Monica then walks up to Luke and says she just got his test results back and the situation is dire. Luke looks at her stunned. (So either Tracy set Monica up or Piph set Monica up - at this point my money is on Piph). Sc. 7 - Monica says there is no time to waste. Monica tells Layla to get the OR started, Luke needs a quadruple bi-pass immediately - his number are off the charts and he's a walking time bomb. Monica also tells Layla to sedate Luke, she wants him in a twilight sleep when he's taken to the OR. Tracy walks back in and asks what's happening and Luke just sits up in bed saying "Oh my God". (Both the Diva and I were laughing)

Hooked, SCORE!!! That's great. I don't think either TG or JE will be part of the departures, but I'm expecting to see their names in the theories just the same. Not sick but life on the line - that's up Luke's alley. Good, she needs him to be her hero. So, here's my day so far.... Sun's shining... Snowed last night so the kids are playing outside contentedly... Christmas cards are all mailed.... Gifts are all wrapped and under the tree..... Christmas parcels are all sent.... Hostess gifts are all made.... Pageant roles have been assigned and the kids know their stuff..... Someone has agreed to take Ruah to a Guide do tonight so I can get a break..... Mike's been bringing me flowers and wine.... Can life get better? AND Tracy is on three times a week lately, including today. I'm doing the happiness dance of joy.

I've noticed everyone who's been parading through Luke's life in the last two days has basically told him the same thing - stop the scams and show Tracy the truth as a woman needs to hear it. I think Luke is going to get the message but not before he pushes this particular scam a little further.

I hear and I obey.... spoilers and recaps, check. I hadn't thought of Tracy getting Monica to do the heart thing. I was thinking Lukey's scam backfired on him and it turns out all of this heavy drinking ruined the job from last year. That would accomplish A- getting LuNacy back to the heart attack closeness from last year and having him return home with her this time (which is when all the problems started last year), B- have LuNacy in the hospital during the crisis starting in January, C- seriously address Luke's heavy drinking that everyone has been commenting on both on screen and off. I really don't care either way. It's a story for LuNacy and I want in.

Today's Recap (Tuesday, December 16th) STATS Vets: Luke, Tracy (no until sc. 6) Kisses: I keep hoping... Appearance: I should have looked closer, but I think Mama's in the leather jacket again. Stories: Sam is kidnapped; Scooby gang bust Maxie for faking sex; Jason booming around town heavy with the Fed's offer and loosing Liz/Jake; Sonny and Luke share an understanding about mob/HS involvement; Line of the Day: "Where's the shovel?" Olivia to Luke when he flatters her Sc. 1 - no LuNacy Sc. 2 - no Tracy; Jax walks into HS to visit Luke. He offers financial assistance to get the Star up and running and Luke says he might take it once he's no longer distracted. Jax asks what's going on and Luke says he's focused on getting his wife back and convincing her he's suicidal. Jax nods and says Luke's trying to trick Tracy - an act of love, out of the goodness of his heart. Luke says yeah, Jax gets it. Jax says it must be a Spencer thing because he sounds just like Carly. Sc. 3 - no Tracy; Jax and Luke reherse their mutual history with Carly, and Jax says knowing Carly is either the greatest thing or worst thing in his life depending on what day. Luke says he understands that. Olivia walks in looking for a game to play and Luke offers to set it up for Olivia and Jax, thinking they are lambs being led to the slaughter. Sc. 4 - no Tracy; Luke dealing blackjack for Olivia and Jax, saying that he will call the game if Tracy walks in because he's got to show her he's distraught. Olivia makes a quick sarcastic comment about how he looks it. Sonny walks in then he and Olivia get intense, Sonny kicks Jax out and Jax takes Olivia with him. Luke watched the exchange with interest. Sonny gets Luke up to speed on the mob happenings in town. Sonny continues saying since John Zacchara bought into the Haunted Star, that makes them partners again. They shake hands as Luke smiles. Sc. 5 - no Tracy; Sonny continues to update Luke about Kate's shooting and his getting back into the mob, offers to rebuild Kelly's and Luke says he appreciates the offer because "his sister" really wants Kelly's back. Luke understand Sonny's motivation, and Sonny says that's what he always likes about Luke - he doesn't have to explain his motivations. Sonny reassures Luke he's under no pressure from the Zaccharas, and Luke says he appreciates that because he's got enough on his plate right now. Sc. 6 - Sonny asks about Laura. Luke says she's living her life in France and he's here with his wife. Sonny doesn't get it so Luke explains. Sonny's still surprised Luke chose to be with Tracy and asks "It's that easy?" "It's that obvious - you can't live in the past and get back something you lost that long ago." Sonny says that's good advise and tells him to call if he needs anything. Tracy walks in and asks Sonny if Luke is there. Luke immediately starts to play piss-drunk and asks if she's there to see the final hour. Tracy doesn't look like she's buying his act. Sc. 7 - Tracy says he's pathetic, to which Luke responds he's what she made him. Tracy says she's not responsible for him and Luke says they are until death do they part - and that's what he's working on. Tracy says she's putting him on notice and will get a real manager for the HS if he doesn't pull it around. Luke says do her worst, and then collapses in a heart attack. Tracy laughs and says she's seen that routine before, although he's doing a good job. Luke pants for her to get help and Tracy says "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" then walks out just as Luke collapses fully on the floor.

As long as they are on my screen together I'm okay. Together-together would be best, but in the same room interacting is also heartwarming. They've got this huge bungee cord between them so you know they won't pull too far apart before they are pulled back together. TG says he was promised a story if he took all his vacation up front, and we're just in the start of it now. Perhaps everyone is correct a little bit. Luke wins her over for NYE but then she gets scared again and they go backwards a bit. That one insider said they were kissing on the NYE episode, so that sounds completely plausible at this point. Either way it's still Happy Holidays for us because they are with each other.

Who cares. Bottom line is Tracy has never needed anyone but she will need Luke. That's what we've been missing in all of this. Luke has depended on her for a few things and she's very comfortable in the role of rescuer, but this time Luke can do something for her (assuming this drop is true, of course). I can't wait. You can almost smell it in the air that they are setting these two up for something significant. I'm just hoping that even if they aren't reconciled within the next two weeks - which would seem rushed at this point - they are at least close enough to get some tenderness on the Christmas Eve and NYE episodes.

Yes, that core group are hilarious. One thread has been closed and they immediately jump to the next one. I'm not sure what they think they will accomplish. I scrap with them from time to time, but even I can't keep pace with the nasties.

Star, sometimes it gets heated, and it would appear that anything pro-LuNacy has to be responded to with the LnL rhetoric. As I said above it's only really 3-4 people, and sometimes they actually have pretty good humour and something rational to contribute so you never know where it might head. But I agree with you, Luke is much more interesting now. This Luke I really like.
