Mmm…. not surprised. I WANT the stuff about Bobbie and the Q's to be true (I'd love SBr back as Carly too), but the talking about TG's being paid for vacations was a tip-off. Glad you're here to get to the bottom of these drops, Hooked. Somewhere in all the BS is the truth, but only time will tell us which parts.

There was a little more to it - like Luke accidentally killed his grandson and has been haunted by unresolved demons of his childhood mixed with raw guilt. No one puts themselves on the cross more completely than Luke does. The problem was in typical Guza fashion the story was fine and had plenty of potential, he just skipped beats that would make it fuller and easier to understand. This has always frustrated me about Guza - his stories are good, but in the rush to tell them he forgets to take all the steps from his head and put them on paper. This story needed Bobbie, first and foremost, and it needed more exploration of Luke's past and how broken a character he has become. it was all there, and the entire thing makes sense….. it just wasn't given the time it deserved. (I also love how the Mobbies standing around with their thumbs up their collective asses seem to require so much attention but the actual good stories with other, richer characters get short changed.)

Well, I just reread the post and it said "they can't keep paying him for being off all that time". Anyone who knows what they are talking about knows they DON'T pay TG to be off, he's off so the don't have to pay him more. I'm hoping the poster is wrong on that part. Truly it doesn't make sense. If GW says the Spencer are going to play a huge role, then the Patriarch is shown the door, there is no reason to highlight the Spencers. I am still of the opinion that Luke will not go gently into that good night, and that TG's departure will be a big deal when it eventually happens. I'm not preparing for it yet by any stretch of the imagination.

There's always more than meets the eye, always. Anyway, DD is saying more Q's and more Tracy, Dillon definitely being recast and Bobbie coming back too. Unfortunately it's also saying TG is being given the engraved watch and a golden handshake. All these years thinking Tracy/JE was going to be the casualty in the LuNacy story, but it looks like Luke might just be. But as always - it's DD so GOS.

Awoke this morning to spoilers that said LW was out and TB was in as Carly, and the MB was leaving in the fall. Could we be so lucky? The cry is what could GH be without Sonny and I want to scream back that GH was about General Hospital WITHOUT Sonny. Now, if it's true it might just be a matter of the rats getting off the ship before it sinks OR it could be that he realizes his days in the sun are over so wants to leave while it still looks like he runs the place. Either way the mind boggles at the opportunities everyone else would have if these two air-hogs were gone.

We all know Luke will be "redeemed", it's just part of the package. I hope it does have to do with Aiden - that's an obvious connection of a son for a son. JE/TG have been given some amazing stuff in this story. Regardless of how you feel about Luke at the moment (and believe me, there are more than enough shallow thinkers to believe Luke is totally ruined once and for all ) this was some serious meat and not the schtick the two have been getting. TG talked about popping a vein and bleeding all over everything, well grab the towels 'cause he's bleeding like a stuffed pig. I almost don't care with is happening to the character, I'm too distracted by the work of the Masters.

I'm not sure what's more difficult on my psyche - the fact that we have no Tracy to talk about or that the Canucks - at this very minute - are loosing the Stanley Cup. Sigh….

I dunno Baby Boy…. I can't remember the last time Bobbie was really mentioned. An announcement over the PA or someone commenting about how she wants Kelly's run isn't the same as talking about her life. Perhaps this is an indicator of things to come. We can hope. At this point maybe Bobbie will be the one they use to finally get through to Luke. His wife and kids don't seem to make headway. She was there and knows the person of his deepest fears. It's worth crossing our fingers for at any rate.

That's what I'm seeing too, Nex. GW has a few months in which to do that, but the rebuild of Luke and LuNacy won't happen until TG returns. In the meantime it will be interesting to see how the rest of the Spencers cope - or don't cope, which seems more likely. The fact that Tracy is mentioned so often shows how important she is to this family even if she isn't actually seen. When was the last time one of them mentioned Bobbie? Lucas? Morgan? or any other Spencer outside of Luke's line?

DD this morning had Monica back and spitting mad because she's found out about all the "secrets" people have been keeping from her. The biggest one of those of course, was Jake. Tracy knew about Jake and was only outwardly concerned about how it would effect Edward. It's not a stretch to imagine Monica and Tracy will have words. As for the "my house" thing, I thought that schtick was getting played too much. I know it was meant for comedy but its like the knock-knock joke kids tell - it ain't funny anymore.

That rascal has been gone far too long. He's been seen as a teddy bear and a tad of an ancient womanizer, definitely a curmudgeon, but the underhandedness last reared its head when he put Tracy in SB. If he is back - and manipulating the family - Tracy could fall back into her previous role as the Voice of Truth that everyone insults and disdains (even though in the end she's always proven right) and Luke will HOPEFULLY be her tarnished Knight again. It would certainly be a way to bring Luke back from this brink.

Rex as Dillon.... I guess it could work. It would certainly be a different take on the character. My only concern would be the kind of chemistry JE would have with him. She definitely had Mother/Son chemistry with SC and JJ, but notice how she has sexual chemistry with all her other sons and step-sons. She could have slept with the previous Lucky, current Ethan and both Neds and it would have seemed completely natural and probably very hot, lol. We already know she worked sexually with WK.

Your last question is the most significant one IMO - how will GW turn this around. He's got some time with TG's vacation, but he was handed a pile of sh!t instead of the Luke Spencer of even 6 months ago. In his interview he tried to be very optimistic about it, but IMO the tone of it was "sweet Jesus, now what do I do?". They will all come back from this - they have to or be gone, and this is not going to be Luke's swan song. Even if it is the beginning of the end, Tony Geary will not exit without fanfare. It will be interesting over the next few months to see how the other Spencers move around the canvas and what happens to them. That will signal more than anything whether we get Luke Spencer back or whether we get this train wreck continuing.

Luke wouldn't and hasn't cheated on Tracy. Destructo Man cheated on Tracy. That is the room for difference but GW has his work cut out for him and he knows it where Luke is concerned. I don't know what Guza was doing. It started out with a great story of struggling with guilt and has become a disaster on so many fronts. This is what always pained me about Guza - he can write and is pretty good, but his biases have gotten bigger and he just can't seem to help himself more towards misogynistic tendencies. He's better than this, but he just kept blowing it. Wow. He's old enough for that already? What a great adventure. He always was the one to reach outside of himself and take a challenge like this. Good for him!

Tracy is spoilers for 22nd

More this morning about someone "reappearing" who we never thought we'd see, and suggestion of a history redo. Immediately I thought of Alan. Who knows what will come. The only way to counter the heavy hand of the mob is to expand the Q's again. Maya wasn't going to do it, so that means bringing real Q's that we know are out there or possibly ones we "think" are dead. That's the only real way at this point to pull in lapsed viewers, strengthen the hospital and acknowledge the past. Everything started going wrong in 2007 with the death of Alan. Duelling insiders is part of the game. ALL of it has to be taken GOS, but some of it is right.

Good news for our side - arguably with GOS but DD is reporting Ingo is set to return, Nic might be too, AND…. drum roll please…. they are casting a 20something white male who is suspected to be Dillon AND BL is set to return to Granny's. Loved that in GW's interview the Spencer family was the only one he named as core. Perhaps we will have the Spencermaines as a whole back together sooner rather than later.

Mr. "Gloom and Doom" Jr. is not the definitive word on LuNacy. He's talked about Luke loosing Tracy before - my take away is that Lucky knows how important Tracy is at the end of the day, not that he's accurate in his depictions. Lucky is still trying to move everyone around like action figures rather than letting things be as they are. Tracy is doing her typical "protect her heart" routine, but I still see her in scenes and spoilers with all the Spencer Sibs, so she is still very much a part of the family. What does jump out at me however, is how tight this Spencer group is - when one of them is gone (typically Luke), the others are instantly at loose ends.

^^ I'm enjoying the duelling insiders who are saying LnL2 is definitely happening vs. JJ saying they head towards LnL2 then he's gone. Siobhan has been on the block since she started and yet she's still here. GW has proven he can indeed get all the cast involved so I have no doubt we will be seeing Tracy through the summer. With changes behind the scenes and contradictory reports by the various insiders, I don't think any of us will know what happens until it airs. Editing can also be done later in the game to insert scenes. About TG leaving early, we might just see him back earlier too. Or perhaps he will do a bit to be shown in the summer again like he did with Lulu's abortion. While many complain about his vacation time, he also has 7 months a year he's required to work and if he took off that early in April, then he's only got 3 months left.

She's hugely right and hugely wrong, it just depends. Others have acknowledged that she's not always on the money. Could also be Hellzabub, since she's back for the summer. Too soon to get our knickers in a twist.
