I put ????'s at the end of my previous post when I meant !!!!!!. Sorry, it was an early morning here at work and a 30 minute commute to get here. I clearly wasnt awake or I would've caught it (like I did now...coffee works miracles). Jacqueline clearly had to have an out if she is indeed quitting. Honestly, I wish Bravo would get rid of Tre, but they won't because she brings in the ratings for this show. Bravo has created a monster with her, and her insecurities are beginning to rear their ugly head. I say cut Tre loose, bump Melissa to recurring and bring in 2 new housewives and woo Jacqueline back. I like Kathy and would like to see her stay around for a while.

Its obvious that Tre is fake?? She says she wants to make amends with her family and then talks trash about them behind their backs. Yet Meliss and Kathy are the same way. It also doesnt help matters that Joe Guidice is always making remarks about Tre's family. I do think that Jacqueline just got tired of being fake and all the drama that Tre is bringing to the show, etc. It's too bad because Jacqui was one of my favorite housewives.

Do you know what roles she auditioned for???

So was their a question as to whether or not KKL was going to return to the role of Brooke?? Is that why they gave SR a long term deal???

I think it was one day Tracy's Lauren giving birth and the next day it was Caryn. I think, it's been so long ago and I'm exhausted today that my mind is not working 100%. Darn cold!!!

Caryn Richman who played Gidget in one of the series where Gidget was an adult filled in temporairly for Tracey Bregman as Lauren on Y&R when Bregman was on maternity leave. This was during the time that Lauren had given birth on the show and thought the baby had died,but was being raised by Shelia and Scott.

Martha Byrne who played Lily on As The World Turns was at the Posche fashion show and also tweeted some tidbits about RHONJ. Since she lives in Jersey and is a Jersey girl herself, perhaps she could be one of the new "Housewives."

Talk about Bitter...the way she trashed Cibrian on television, well that was uncalled for. I mean come on at least attempt to be civil for the sake of the 2 children you share and whose lives all 3(Glavin, Cibrian and Rimes) will all be involved in from here on out.

Awesome looking forward to the RHOA premiere. I think Atlanta and NJ are going to be my 2 faves this season.

I did read that Joe Guidice has withdrawn his bankruptcy filing. I watch RHONY, RHONJ, OC and Atl. Never got into the DC one or the BH one. I am curious to see who they will choose to replace JZ, KKB, CB and AM on the NY version. Please do not let it be Dina Lohan. Also, Ramona has issues that I think are deeper than what we are seeing and I would like to see her address those on the show. As for NJ, why do I feel that Kathy and Melissa are out to get Tre off the show and take her slot???

Wasn't Erin Hershey Presley (ex-Alison, PC) also being considered for the role of Ryan and Jonathan's sister Erin?? I liked Connie Fletcher in the role, but often wondered what dynamics EHP would've had with Branson and Mathison if she was cast as Erin.

I read about Terri Conn being considered as Marissa. I could've seen EHP as Babe actually.

Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe, Y&R; ex-Maggie, AMC) auditioned for the role of Bianca and Rain on AMC and was also a contender for the role of Michelle Bauer on Guiding Light, which went to former AMC co-star Rebecca Budig.

John I had read that about Juilanne Morris and had completely forgotten she was up for the role of Billie before they cast Krista Allen in it. I also remember reading somewhere that Lauren Woodland (ex-Brittany, Y&R) was up for the recast role of Babe before they decided to go with Amanda Baker, whom I found absolutely dreadful in the role. I do know that Catherine Hickland had been considered for the role of Krystal on AMC. Others I know of is Sarah Aldrich was cast just briefly as Victoria on Y&R and then they recast the role. I also remember reading that Rebecca Budig was being considered for the role of Sarah Webber on GH and that Gina Tognoni was also rumored to be up for the role of Brenda on GH. This was when VM kept turning them down. Also, Galen Gehring's wife was a contender for the role of Carly but lost out to Jennifer Bransford I think.

I apologize if this has been posted somewhere in this thread already I am on my lunchbreak and in between meetings and presentations, so I don't have alot of time to weed through all the threads. Hunter Tylo (Taylor, B& almost became the role of Taylor on Melrose Place. This was the role Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie, Days) ended up getting and the role that Tylo was fired from that launched her lawsuit against Aaron Spelling. Susan Lucci (Erica, AMC) read for the part of Tara Martin on All My Children. TPTB thought that she was a better fit for the role of Erica instead.

I'm on my lunch break at work and dont have time to weed through all the posts, but thanks for whomever started this topic. I find it very interesting and a nice walk down memory lane. Here are some temporary replacements I remember: Catherine Hickland subbed for Katherine Kelly Lang as Brooke on B&B. I forget if this when she was out on another maternity leave or if she was sick. Sandra Ferguson (ex-Amanda, AW) also subbed for KKL on B&B as well. Didn't Sarah Aldrich sub for Heather Tom in the role of Victoria on Y&R for a day or so?? I know that Aldrich was being considered as a recast for the role one of the time's Tom left, but I thought I remember seeing or hearing that she had actually stepped in to the role of Victoria for a day or so.
