Daryl is way out of Carol's league. Although I will admit that she has gotten tougher and is more useful. Daryl should be with me!

The Walking Dead: Discussion Thread
Tvbythenumbers usually has the cable ratings by tomorrow afternoon. Unless AMC issues a press release earlier. My other favorite moments: Rick pulling over the Walkers head armor and the face coming off. Maggie stabbing the Walker in the neck and looking at the others and saying "see that." Really, it did not make sense them for them to take Herschel over Carol. If anything happened with Lori and the baby, they would need Herschel. Plus, he is too old to be going on hunting trips.

They better not kill off my Hershel after they cut off his leg. That would be damn evil, I say.

No, no, not my Hershel! OMG, I sceamed when Rick cut off Hershel's leg. Glenn must really love Maggie to kiss her with all that blood and gore all over her. F'ck, this show is the f'cking best!

Michonne is great. I love that Rick cannot stand Lori. [!@#$%^&*], only 10 more minutes!

Gawd, I love this show; 15 minutes in and tons of blood and gore. I like that the group has gotten good at surviving and killing Walkers.

From the imagination and delusions of Republicans. Though, it does make sense when you hate everyone who is different from you, you have to assume that they hate you back or else can how you justify the hatred.

Nope, you are right. All those right wing conservative Christian pastors who constantly preach against Mormonism and call it a cult are all rallying their congregations to vote for Romney.

Yeah, the press pays more attention to overt racism during Obama's presidential election. The Virginia GOP had pictures on Facebook of the President and First Lady in "primitive" African outfits. Someone shot at one of the Obama campaign offices in Denver. Hey, the Romney people think the same way. There was that anonymous quote when he visited the UK about the UK/US special relationship had to do with their shared "Anglo-Saxon heritage." Too bad the Democrats don't like to wade in the sewage like Republicans because now is exactly the time to whip out the "Mormonism is a cult and not a Christian denomination" card much like the Republicans constantly play the "Obama is a Muslim" card.

Considering that Obama has lost his lead in a couple new state polls (Florida and New Hampshire), he is going to have to get more than a draw from the next debate. I still don't see him losing the election, but damn he has made the road ahead far harder than it ever had to be. One day, I want to hear the real story behind his piss poor performance in the first debate.

I don't buy that claim because Obama has been angry in public lots of times, especially during interviews when he is challenged. Besides there is a difference between going on the offensive and aggressively defending his record and being angry. I see him do the former all the time on the campaign trail and in interviews. For whatever reason, he gave a bad performance in the first debate. It caused serious damage to his campaign with sixty-seven million people who watched that debate. He cannot afford a repeat performance.

Well, the NY Times editorial and articles and several Post articles called Biden the winner. Regardless, the narrative on the Democrat side is that Biden won and this has reawakened their enthusiasm. What matters now is that Obama wake the hell up, follow Biden's example. Obama needs to aggressively take on Romney in their next debate. Obama need to go on the offensive weave in the 47 percent and the Republican obstructionism, and Romney's flip flopping when answering the audience's questions.

I think my favorite part of the debate was when Ryan trotted out the usual lie about how the stimulus money went to political cronies, only for Biden to whip out the info that Ryan wrote him two letters begging for stimulus money saying that it would create jobs and growth. I laughed as Ryan physically cringed. The moderator asked Ryan if he did ask for the money and Ryan was forced to admit that he did and then asked Biden if Ryan got the money, to which he responded yes and that they sent Ryan millions and that he just wish that Ryan would be more candid. Ha. I hope that Obama's advisors show him that clip over and over again. That is how you close the trap when your opponent walks into it. Biden did his job. He reawakened the Democrats enthusiasm. Now it is up to Obama to finish fixing the self-inflicted damage in the upcoming debate. Oh, I also liked how Biden directly rebutted Romney's insulting 47 percent by reminding the audience who those people really are. Also, kudos to Martha Raddatz for calling Ryan, Congressman and pushing for specifics. It really does take a woman to do the job right. She schooled Jim Lehrer who needs to retired.

Gawd, Romney and his advisors have already walked back his "moderate" position on abortion. LOL! He is pledging to de-fund Planned Parenthood and that he is pro-life. He is a walking flip flop. The ED Show on MSNBC is showing clips from the Frontline documentary where Romney was acting offended that his opponent for the Massachusetts governor questioned his claim that he was pro-choice. What a freaking liar! What is an opportunist! Damn, they just showed a clip of David Brooks saying that Romney does market research and tailors his message to whatever people want to hear. LOL!

I was just watch a panel (excluding the Latina Republican) on CNN reacting in incredulity over Romney's abortion statements. They were talking about how many times he has flip flopped starting when he was governor of Massachusetts. All Romney has done is reminded people that he will say anything to get elected. I fully expect those independents and women who started to lean his way after the debate in the national polls to be back in Obama's column by next week.

I can. He will say anything to get elected and the party base is so desperate that it will go along with anything if they think it will help him win the election.

Ack! I want Rick, Daryl, Glenn, Maggie, Hershel, and Michonne to live. Everyone else is on their own. Unfortunately, Hershel is old so he is likely to be one of the characters to die this season.

CarlD2, I cannot believe you of all people who can be so cynical at times, are not acknowledging the shear ignorance and shallowness of the American people to be sucked in by Romney's bluster and lies resulting in these more positive polls for him. Obama's poor performance in the debate cannot be dismissed. He did himself no favors. Biden will have step up in his debate and Romney do better in the next debate. I never doubted the "well done" polls before the debate and I do not doubt them now. I fully believe that there are people who are uninformed and easily influenced are now leaning towards voting for Romney. However, like Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight, I look at trends over time as well as the historical view of both the national and state polls and see that the President remains on track for reelection. http://fivethirtyeig...164E70D30C43879 I love how the Republicans are crowing over the polls that show Romney gaining ground. I guess, the Democratic conspiracy is over until the polls settle down and go back in the other directions. RME.

"Romney says his 47 percent were 'completely wrong'" Bwah!!! After Romney and his supporters here and elsewhere passionately defended him and constantly argued that he was right: There is NOTHING Romney won't say or lie about to get elected.
