Lady Ashton, you probably knew this, but I just found out Hugo Napier was on All My Children for what seems to be 2 episodes (could be more though, as IMDB sometimes doesn't get things right) as a character named Mike Roy: 27 March 1985 and 4 April 1985. Interestingly enough, Jane Elliot is listed in the episode cast for both those dates. I wonder if HN and JE ever interacted behind the scenes and therefore kind of knew each other before GH. Yep, same day. For whatever reason, Cable Guide seems to think that Tracy making an appeal to Johnny sounds more like Must See TV instead of a Tracy and Monica scene. I so hope the And THANKS halee for the TrAsh!!! They were soooo good together. So, so good. *hugs the TrAsh* Sorry my LuNatics. But something's gotta fill the gap with Luke gone 'til September, and I have deemed TrAsh worthy (for myself, anyway). BTW, totally random, but my "And the Emmy goes too..." is bugging me. You all probably realized, but that should be "to." Just pretend I meant, "And the Emmy goes tooooooooo..." Hey, maybe that IS what I meant. LOL. ILoveTracyQ, are you out there? I am wondering what you thought of TG's comments about Jane. Finally, I was going through some older Emmy stuff, but not very old, just like 2004, and I know I've mentioned it before (maybe here or on one of the old SON's), but I still think it's so cute the way Jane congratulated Scott on his first Emmy nomination: "Was Mama right or was Mama right?" Aww. Scott then credited her for helping him earn the nomination but said the win should go to Chad Brannon. And IIRC, Chad did win that year. Anyway, just wanted to share (and get us talking again). It's kind of been a slow day around here.

Hmm, does this mean we just see the behind of Luke like we do of Laura whenever someone visits her? Or do we find out via a throw-a-way line that Luke received a visit from Anthony? Whatever happens, I am hoping this means we get Tracy onscreen. If she is, it will be the 4th year in a row that she's been on the 4th of July. I don't think that can be said about any other date. EDIT: So, this is actually a repeat episode. Oops. There goes our 4 year record - Haha. Anyway, I guess all the speculation below is kind of pointless with regards to AZ/Luke, but GH could still blow the HS up this summer if they wanted to... I wonder if those rumors about the Haunted Star going boom that day are true? I could sort of see Anthony paying Luke a visit and that setting up a montage with the casino going up in flames. It would, dare I say, be kind of awesome if Tracy was inside for whatever reason, but GH never puts her in serious danger... If anyone is inside, it's Lulu, and there's your Friday cliffhanger. (as IF Lulu has NEVER been hurt/rescued before...oy). But, anyway, thanks for the spoiler! And missjane, I hope you are doing well too. I miss ya!

Lainey, at first that bothered me, but then this morning, I went through the transcript of the December 10th episode, and that specific scene with Maurice was the one where he had material better suited for an Emmy clip IMO. The December 10th LuNacy scenes belonged to Jane (WHY DO I BOTHER and the speech about the 1960s rebels). Anyway, I'm not sure if they highlighted Tony's ability as much as the scenes with Maurice did - even if Jane makes Tony better. And no, no Jane Elliot. I am assuming the last time she attended was 1993 for her nomination in 1992...unless she appeared at the 96 ceremony... (maybe make that 25 to be on the safe side) Can I just say how AWESOME it is that about 98% of the posts I have read post-Emmy's include incredible disappointment and shock that GH won Best Drama? Does my heart good.

TONY GEARY WON! I'm feeling a bit bad for wanting TG to win just so he could thank JE. I mean, he did have good material in the dramatic episode he submitted, AND I do consider him to be a fabulous actor; I just SO wanted that Jane Elliot mention. Good thing I got it, huh? LOL. I don't have this taped, so I can't rewind, but he thanked his partner in crime, Jane Elliot, said she makes him better, keeps him on time, something about knowing his words... It was all very sweet. Sadly, GH won Best Drama. I don't get it. No writing award. No directing award. Just 1 acting nominee and award. But BEST DRAMA?! And Jill? "This was expected." Are you serious?! So I am realizing from posts on various boards that the Emmys are on tonight. Is it wrong that I want TG to win just to see if he thanks JE? On the topic of YouTube awesomeness... I always wondered why ABC didn't do this this after the Lila Quartermaine/Anna Lee memorial episodes, but I guess SoapTalk took care of it. Thanks Addie for posting! And good to see you back on the thread. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvyS8Ui6blg Basically, much of the cast talks about Anna Lee, shares stories, etc. It's very sweet, and some of it's funny too. I had to laugh at Steve Burton. "She practically killed Leslie [with her wheelchair]." For those wondering what Jane said, I'll let you watch. However, the first time she spoke was more about production/acting than about Anna.

So, far 3 segments and 3 scenes of our girl. How long can this last?! These first couple of scene descriptions might be missing detail, but here goes: Segment 1: MetroCourt. Tracy reminds Carly of what happened in the boathouse 2 years go. Tracy is not going to stand aside and watch Lulu get pregnant again. Luke would kill her (Tracy). Segment 2: Still at Metrocourt. Tracy is worried about Lulu getting involved with the Zacharra's. Carly reminds him that Luke got involved with them. Tracy says but Luke knows how to cover his tracks. Carly says Tracy is desperate. Tracy agrees. She cares about Lulu. She wants Carly to tell Lulu not to make the same choices she (Carly) made. Carly says something that Lulu won't listen. She has to walk away on her own. Carly can't do it for her. Segment 3: Outside the boathouse. Lulu and Johnny are getting close. They are interrupted by an obnoxious continuous coughing sound. It's Tracy. Segment 4: None. Segment 5: In the boathouse. Tracy is not going to watch Lulu get into bed the mob and make the same mistakes as she did. Alan pops up from behind. He says if she keeps this up, Lulu and Johnny are going to elope, and she will have Johnny Z as as a son-in-law. Tracy corrects him: STEP son-in-law. Johnny makes note that her brother is back. Lulu says this happens when Tracy has a crisis of conscious. Lulu says Alan must think Tracy is being ridiculous. Tracy is all, "Do you think I can't hear you?" Lulu said they listened to what she had to say, but what they do is their business. Tracy is willing to back off if Johnny can promise her that Lulu is in no danger. Segment 6: Johnny tells Tracy that he never lied about what he's involved in. Lulu knows the life is dangerous and made the choice to be with him, anyway. Lulu and Johnny walk out. Alan tells Tracy that gossip didn't work and asks what else she's got. Tracy wants him to go away. Alan says to give Johnny some credit, that he has a backbone, and that Lulu could do worse. Tracy doesn't remember Alan acting like this when Emily ran off with Zander or when Jason ran off to do Sonny's bidding. Alan says his heart broke for his kids. He handled it all wrong like Tracy is now. Alan tells her that she said her peace. Maybe it will have impact. Just them them think about for a little while. Tracy looks a bit sad but says "Okay." She walks out. Lulu tells Tracy "bye," but it's actually sincere. Segment 7: None. Previews: None. Overall comments: In terms of screentime, much better than what we've been getting. In terms of story, well, it's more of the "I don't approve of who you are sleeping with" garbage that seems to be Tracy's usual summer story...but we did get a sweet (though short) Alan and Tracy out of it. For what it was, I enjoyed her role in today's show.
