Rumor around the set says that one veteran is not happy with her storyline and is tempted to walk back to her ranch! Executive Producer/ HeadWriter Tishy practically cut off her leg to get her on the show so the last thing this blog needs or wants is this to happen. A big storyline has been promised for her, with a two month vacation time off between now and then.

Lindze Letherman has been let go. She asked to be released and there was no future for her on the show. Letherman wants to try her luck elsewhere. We wish her all the luck.

Another character, a Quartermaine will be gone by the summer. However, he doesn't know it yet....

Come summertime we are casting several roles to work on a project in the hospital and also to work at MetroCourt. The following roles are rumored to be in search of:

"Tucker", a twenty something in the army who is a friend of Lucas Jones
    Lucas Jones
    Brook Lyn Ashton
    Serena Baldwin

Casting is close for three of those roles, however Serena Baldwin is proving hard to cast. Over 100 18 to 20 year olds have been considered and have been rejected. Looking for a blonde, etheral, kind beauty. Suggestions are welcome

All will be in a storyline with Lulu and another character who will soon be on the canvas. Look for some to mix with Lucy, Carly and Brenda.

Carly walked confidentedly into the Brownstone looking for her mother. Carly was dressed for the day in a brown suede skirt, creme colored cashmere sweater and high heeled, knee high brown boots. Bobbie was nowhere to be seen, in fact the first person she saw was Noah, "Hi Noah, have you seen Bobbie this morning?"

Noah was getting himself some coffee, "No Carly, I don't think she has gotten up yet. I haven't heard her moving around yet. Do you want to go check?" Carly shook her head and Noah asked, "Well want some coffee?" When Carly declined he asked, "How are you Morgan? Is Bobbie babysitting for you today, I know she has today off."

Carly shook her head and sat down on the couch. She got a book out for Morgan to read, "No, I just need to talk to Bobbie so I thought I would visit. I can wait until she comes down."

"Ok, see you two later." Noah left for the hospital, leaving Carly alone with Morgan. Soon after Noah left, she heard voices. "Great." she muttered.

Patrick and Robin came down the stairs, arms around each other. Robin was tickling Patrick and he was laughing. He leaned down and kissed her soundly on the lips. Neither one noticed Carly until she spoke up, "Why don't you two go back upstairs? I don't want to see you two macking on each other." Carly said sarcastically.

Robin disengaged herself from Patrick's arms and said, "And a good morning to you too Carly. What do you want?"

"I didn't realize I needed a reason to come here. This is my mother's house." Carly stated, hands on her hips.

Patrick walked up between the two of them. "Ladies, let it go. Good morning Carly. I just heard Bobbie getting up, she should be down in a few minutes," Patrick glanced at his watch, "Robin we have to get going, I have surgery in an hour."

"Yes, don't let me keep you." Carly called out to the retreating form of Robin. Since that night at the Metro Court, Carly couldn't help it. All she saw was Sonny kiss Brenda and it was driving her crazy. She needed to talk to someone about it and she couldn't talk to Jax. Every time she tried to get in touch with Jason, he was unavailable, which was also driving her crazy.

"Good morning Carly, what brings you here this early? Not that I mind, but this is unusual for you." Bobbie walked over to her daughter and kissed her cheek, "You brought my grandson too, I never see enough of Michael and Morgan."

"I just dropped Michael off at school and swung by here to see if, you know, we could talk." Carly confessed.

Bobbie sat down and picked up Morgan, "Uh oh Carly, what happened? Is everything ok with you and Jax?"

Frustrated Carly threw herself down on the couch, "Things were great with me and Jax until Brenda came home. Jax swears he is not the father.."

Bobbie interrupted, "Don't you believe him?"

"I know I should. Jax doesn't lie to me. I just get this feeling. She just gets under my skin. I can't stand it Bobbie. She had Jax first and could probably snap her fingers and he would go running back." Carly snapped her fingers and exclaimed.

"You don't know that Carly. You have to have faith in him. He trusts you, even after everything with Sonny."

"That's another thing. Sonny. Arrgghhh. Brenda is going to go after him just to prove she can. She even let him kiss her at Metro Court right in front of me the other night. It is driving me crazy."

Bobbie got up to get herself a cup of coffee and offered one to Carly, who declined, "Carly, you have to let Sonny go. You made your choice. Whoever he wants to be with is his decision. Jax and you are going to get married and he loves you. You should see the way he looks at you." Bobbie took a sip of coffee and regarded her wayward daughter, "Carly, trust in Jax. He loves you."

Carly stood up and started pacing the room, "I know, but now that Brenda is back in town, he won't even set a wedding date. I am pushing him for one and he won't commit to one. I feel like I am losing control."

Bobbie stood up and embraced Carly, "Carly, you have to stop being so insecure! Trust me when I tell you that Jax loves you and you two will get married. Probably sooner than you think. You can not let Brenda get to you. So she and Sonny kissed, so what? It doesn't matter. You have to concentrate on you and Jax and Michael and Morgan. Ok? Now, let me cook you some breakfast." Carly followed Bobbie into the kitchen, her fears temporilarily subsiding.

Dillion opened the door to Kelly's and sat down. He had a breakfast date with Georgie and he was early. She was having a hard time bouncing back from losing her mother and sister so he made it a point to see her every morning before classes at PCU. He was looking at the menu when he heard a noise and looked up, "Oh, hi Lulu."

Cautiously Lulu stood before him, "Um, hi Dillion. Are you meeting Georgie here?" She moitioned towards the door.

Dillion nodded, "Yeah. This is the first time she has been back to Kelly's since Maxie died. She's having a hard time but she wants to confront it. So we are meeting here for breakfast."

    "That's nice of you."

"Oh God Lulu," Dillion took off his glasses and wiped at his eyes, "I am so sorry I hurt you."

Lulu held up her hand, "Dillion I don't want to hear it. Look, do you want some coffee?"

Dillion sighed, "Yeah I'll take a cup." Lulu poured him a cup and Georgie walked in at the same time. Georgie stopped and looked at the stairs with trepidation. She took a deep breath and sat down across from Dillion. "Hi." Georgie said.

"Hi, how are you this morning?" Dillion reached over and grabbed her hand.

Lulu smiled at Georgie and asked, "Hi Georgie, do you want some coffee?"

"I'm fine." Georgie answered automatically, "I'll take some coffee." She watched as Lulu filled her cup and walked away. "Anyway, this is so weird coming here. I keep expecting Maxie to come down the stairs."

"I know Georgie. Listen, have you thought about what I mentioned earlier? Maybe counseling with Dr Winters could help you." Dillion asked.

"I'm thinking about it." She smiled hesitantly, "God it is so hard to be here. I just can't be here anymore. Could we go? I'm sorry, let's just grab something on campus."

Dillion stood up, "Mind if I go to the bathroom? I will be back in a sec." Georgie sipped her coffee and nodded her consent. Dillion walked to the back of Kelly's and visited the restroom. When he came out, he bumped into Lulu. "Oh, sorry Lulu."

Lulu backed up, "It's ok." She moitioned to the front of the restaurant, "Are you two leaving? Georgie has her coat on."

"Yeah, it's really hard for her to be here so we are taking off." Dillion stepped closer, "God Lulu, this is so hard for me. I miss you so much. I don't want to hurt you but I have to tell you. I really miss you."

Lulu looked to the floor and then raised her head, "I miss you too." she whispered in the moment before Dillion leaned down and kissed her hungrily.

Alexis met her attorney, Scott Baldwin outside Ric's office. They were there to present him with a custody agreement. Alexis was nervous but tried not to show it. She was dressed in her finest business suit to help with her confidence. She just hoped that Scott could pull this off. She opened Ric's door. "Good morning Ric."

"Alexis, what are you doing here?" Ric looked up from his desk in surprise, "What are you doing with Baldwin here."

Scott walked up to him and extended his hand, "Morning Lansing, I am here to represent Ms. Davis in the custody suit of Molly Lansing. Don't mind if we sit down."

"What the hell? Get out of my office!" Ric half shouted.

"Well, we can either do this here on Ms Davis' terms or we file for sole custody. Trust me, you will not like what we have on you. Every single skeleton in your closet will be dragged out for everyone to see." Scott said smugly. "The choice is yours Lansing."

Alexis spoke up, "Ric I would really like to get this settled. I think you will find the terms to be more than acceptable."

Ric sat down in his seat and tossed his pen down, "Fine, show me what you got."

Scott opened up his briefcase and took out a file. He opened the file and took out several typed documents. "Lansing, Ms Davis is willing to let you have Molly every other weekend and every Wednesday night. Plus she will allow you to have Molly for two weeks in the summer."

"That's so kind of you Alexis." Ric said snidely.

"It's a hell of a lot more than I would've given you." Scott replied, "Of course, you cannot take Molly out of Port Charles without Ms. Davis' permission. If you don't agree to this, we will go to the courthouse after we leave here and file for sole custody. Trust me Lansing, you will lose."

Ric looked at them scornfully, "Like hell I will. Alexis is an unfit parent and I can prove it. She associates with scum like Sonny Corinthos and I don't want my daughter around him. No deal."

Scott lifted up one of the documents and glanced at it. He spoke sarcastically, "We will present to the court that you tried unsuccessfully to take Molly when Ms Davis was having cancer treatments. A time when Ms Davis needed Molly the most. Good job on that one Lansing." He paused and looked at Ric, "We will also prove that you committed adultry with Samantha McCall, now deceased, who was Ms Davis' daughter that she was forced to give up for adoption. Jason Morgan will testify that he saw it committed as well as my client. Busy man Lansing." Scott said sarcastically.

"Our marriage was over by then and we were both drunk. I can argue against that and you know it. Who is going to believe a thug like Morgan?" Rick spit out angrily.

Scott went on like Ric never spoke, "Carly Corinthos. You held her hostage in a panic room. Nice touch. She will be happy to tell the world everything you put her through. Jasper Jax will also testify on your treatment of Ms Davis and how she is with Kristina and Molly. Nikolas Cassadine and Emily Quatermaine will corraborate Jax' testimony. Several cops, the mayor and Mac Scorpio will be character witnesses."

Ric broke in. He had broke out in a fine sheen of sweat. "You are lying."

"Try me Lansing. Just try me. Now, to top it all off, Elizabeth Spencer. Your ex wife." Scott looked up at Ric, "Trust me it was so hard for me to go to a Spencer."

Alexis spoke up, "Scott." with a warning in her voice.

Scott looked at Alexis and raised his hands in defeat, "Ok, Mrs Spencer will testify that even though the two of you were married for a year and she had a child, Cameron although he is not biologically yours, you have never made any attempt to see him voluntairily after the two of you split up. Cameron was in your care for a long period of time and you have never seen him. She will also testify that she thinks Ms Davis is a better parent." Scott looked at Ric. "If you want, I can read more to you or you can agree to sign this very good custody agreement and this weekend starting Sunday morning you will have Molly until Sunday evening at 6pm. If you don't agree to this, we will file immediately after we leave."

Ric looked coldly at Alexis, "This is Sonny's idea wasn't it?"

"No Ric, not everything has to do with Sonny." Alexis handed him a pen, "Sign it. I think you will agree I am being more than fair."

Ric sat back in his chair and contemplated Alexis. "So you are giving me no time to think about this."

Scott cooly said, "Lansing, I would sign it. If it was up to me I would have told you to go to hell and we would be seeing you in court. Alexis wants Molly to know her father and she isn't even asking for child support. Sign it."

Ric leaned forward and grabbed the pen. He scribbled his signature across the bottom of the agreement and said, "There you go. Now get the hell out of my office."

Patrick and Robin open their new house and walk around. Before they move in, they wanted to paint the rooms and do everything right. They had been to Wyndhams earlier to pick out furniture and to Home Depot to pick out paint swatches. Robin twirled around in the foyer of the house, very happy. "Oh Patrick, I love it. This is such a wonderful gift. I can't believe you surprised me like this."

Patrick picked her up and twirled her around, kissing her soundly. "Anything for you. You have made me life so happy. I had been going from one woman to another before I met you." Patrick kissed her again, "You have taught me how to love again."

Robin smiled and kissed him again, "You have taught me to love again as well and not to take life so serious." She slid down his body and walked through the rooms with the swatches. "So what do you think of these colors? I like yellow for the kitchen, it's just a matter of shade. What do you think?"

"I think I will let you choose the colors. This is your department babe," Patrick smiled.

"I also think a light sage green will match the green couch we got and the creme colored chairs for the living rooms. With the rug and the hardwood floors it will look good. For our bedroom, I think a light maroon to match the bedspread. What to you think?" Robin continued.

"Speaking of bedrooms," Patrick grabbed her hand and led her towards the stairs, "I want to go take a look again. I am forgetting what it looks like."

Robin willingly followed along, "You forget a bedroom? That will be the day." She walked behind him and followed him into the large master bedroom with the soft, thick rug.

Patrick pulls Robin into the bedroom and kisses her. He playfully protests and swats his arm. "Patrick, we have to pick the colors." Patrick tightens his arms around her and kisses her thouroughly. "Patrick!" She feebly protests.

"What?" Patrick said, leaning down to unbutton her shirt. Her cupped her breast and kissed the top of her breast. He popped her breast out of her bra so he could suck on her nipple. "I like this color Robin. It's the perfect shade of pink for this room, it will match perfectly."

"Hmmmm." Robin's eyes were glazed over as she gave in to his caresses. Her hands moved slowly over his chest and she pulled him down onto the rug. They quickly got rid of their clothes and started to devour each other. Patrick rolled over on his back, put a condom on and lifted Robin up by her hips so that she could manuever herself on his shaft. She started moving up and down and clutched him inside her. His hands rubbed her nipples until they raised up into tight buds in his hands. Both of them gasped and moaned with each movement. She arched her back and her hair fell down her back as she rode him hard. Faster and faster she rode until they both came together. Robin slumped down on Patrick's chest, completely satisfied, "Oh Patrick, that was so good."

"Well, now we can cross off christening this place off of things we have to do the first day." Patrick drawled. He laughed and Robin joined in, kissing him soundly. Patrick wrapped his arms around Robin and whispered, "I love you.

    "I love you too."

'What in the dang nabbit is that noise?" Edward yelled at the top of the stairs as the security alarm went off. "For God's sake, someone turn that off!"

Tracy joined her father at the stairs and peered down into the darkness. "Is Brenda here? Maybe her loser boyfriend is trying to break in."

Edward whipped around, "You don't think that scoundrel Corinithos would break in here, would you?"

"For Heaven's sake Father," Alan said, tying his bathrobe, "I am sure the alarm can be explained. See, there goes the phone. Who knows the code? I can't remember it. Monica, do you know it?"

Monica yawned, "No, when the mansion was given to me, I wasn't given the alarm code. This is the first time it's gone off." The four of them looked at each other. "Well, is someone going to get the phone?" An exasperated Monica exclaimed.

"As you constantly remind us, this house is yours. You get the phone. Now that I am awake, I may have a drink." Tracy said, sweeping past everyone.

Edward tried to stop her as Monica went to answer the phone, "Tracy are you crazy? We could have burgulars in here." Edward yelled at Monica, "Tell them we want Commissioner Scorpio here on the double. We will wait right here. Where are Ned and Brenda anyway."

"The baby was crying. I saw Ned go in Brenda's room. The commissioner is on his way." Monica stated. "And Edward is right, we shouldn't go anywhere because God knows with us, if we try to go downstairs one of us will fall down the stairs."

There was a noise below them and a light went on. Dillion was standing there, having come in through the French doors. "What is going on?" he cried. "I was taking a walk outside and heard noises. The whole neighborhood could hear."

Tracy looked at Edward, "We have neighbors?"

"The alarm is going off. The police are on their way." Alan bellowed over the noise. "No one knows the code."

Dillion walked up to the alarm and punched some numbers in, silencing the alarm. "Finally!" Tracy said, beginning to walk down the stairs. Unfortuately, Edward had also started down the stairs and stepped on the back of her bathrobe. Tracy slipped a couple stairs and fell on her butt. There was a pounding on the door and Dillion opened it. In front of him was Robert, who was staring at Tracy. Her legs were going in two different directions and she looked like she was about to slide down the stairs.

"Well, it's not the first time a woman has thrown herself at my feet, but the first time a Quartermaine has. What seems to be the trouble here? I understand your burglar alarm was going off?" Robert smirked.

Edward helped Tracy get up and Edward, Tracy, Alan and Monica walked down the stairs. "Where is the commissioner? I specifically asked for him, not his scoundrel of a brother." Edward blustered.

"Ah, but I am the commissioner. My brother is taking a vacation."

    Monica smiled compassionately, "Understandable."

Robert grinned, "My officers are looking around the estate right now. Is it all right if they check out the rooms in case someone did break in? Tracy, do you want me to check out your room? I will be happy to do so."

"Go to hell." Tracy said, sipping her gin.

After a few minutes, Taggert came in and reported that it was just a misfire in the system, that everything on the grounds and in the mansion were secure. "Edward, we will post someone here for the night to watch out, just in case." Robert told the Quartermaine patriarch.

"Good, good. Thank you Scorpio." Edward said, turning to go back upstairs, Alan and Monica following.

"Like I said Tracy, my offer still is open. I will gladly watch your room." Robert glanced at her and smiled sideways.

Tracy walked up to him and threw her gin in his face.

Monica came rushing into the room when she heard AJ come in. She ran up to him and threw her arms around him. "Oh AJ, I am so glad you are here. We need you so much right now." She pulled back and looked ather son. "AJ you look wonderful. Life in California has been treating you well."

AJ reached for Sarah's hand. "You all remember Sarah Webber?" The Quartermaines nodded. "Sarah and I got married a week ago. We met in Santa Barbara at the San Remos Hospital and have been together ever since."

Shock reverberated throughout the room. Edward glanced up and said faintly, "Sarah I hope you know what you are getting into. Welcome to the family."

"I can't believe you didn't tell your father and I AJ." Monica reprimanded, sitting down in a chair.

Sarah spoke up for the first time. "It was a spur of the moment thing."

Tracy interrupted her and immediately jumped to conclusions., "Oh my God, you are pregnant aren't you?"

Sarah shook her head, "I can assure you I am not."

The door to the emergency room opened and Dr Hayward emerged. "Good afternoon everyone, I am Dr David Hayward." He shook everyone's hand and sat down. "I just want to explain what we are doing right now. The aneuryism has not burst and we are going to repair that. If it bursts, than we do run into risks. If Dr Quartermaine makes it through the surgery without the aneuryism bursting he has a stronger change of survival. I want to tell you that he has been brought up to the operating room and is being put under anesthesia as we speak. Dr Drake and I are going to start the surgery very shortly. I estimate that it will last about 4 hours."

Skye interrputed, "David, will he survive?"

David looked over at Skye and smiled reassuringly, "I have every reason to believe that if he makes it through the surgery without the aneryism bursting than he will. If it bursts, he can still survive but there is more chance that he could pass. He was in good spirits when I spoke to him last, as Monica can attest to. I also want to warn you of something. Dr Quartermaine is going to lose a lot of blood so we will be doing transfusions and saline into him to keep him hydrated. When you see him next, he will be swollen." David looked at the clock on the wall and said, "I have to get going. I suggest that you go to the private waiting room outside the operating rooms. That way, if we need to get to you we know where you are." With that, David confidently left the room.

Tracy watched him leave, "I don't like him. He's oily as a snake."

"Takes one to know one." muttered Skye.

Monica ignored them and stood up, "Dr Hayward is right, we need to go upstairs. Sarah, I know it's difficult circumstances, but welcome to the family."

Sarah smiled sweetly back, "Thank you Dr Quartermaine." Sarah turned to AJ. "Honey do you mind if I meet you up there? I saw Elizabeth on our way in and I want to say hello to my sister and get an update on Gram."

AJ leaned over and kissed Sarah. "Sure. I love you."

    "I love you too."

Sarah walked through the hospital towards the Nurse's Station where she last saw her sister. She smiled to herself when she saw her sister waddling up to the desk. Sarah came up behind Elizabeth, put her hands over her eyes and whispered, "Guess who?"

Elizabeth turned around at the sound of her sister's voice, "Sarah? What are you doing here?"

Sarah hugged her sister and answered, "My husband brought me back."

"Your husband?" Elizabeth broke the embrace, "Who did you marry?"

"AJ Quartermaine." Sarah held out her left hand which now sported a 2.5 carat diamond flanked by 1 carat diamonds on either side in a platninum setting. "He surprised me and we eloped. Then we found out about his father and flew here. We have only been married less than a week. We were going to fly out here anyway and surprise everyone, this was just sooner than expected."

Elizabeth glanced at the clock. "Sarah, why don't you go sit down. I will be finished up very soon. Give me five minutes."

Upstairs in the waiting room, James was getting fussy. He was starting to cry and starting to get on everyone's nerves. Brenda got up and excused herself and asked Ned to come with her for a minute. Once outside she said, "Look I know you want James here, but he is getting very fussy and he is way past his nap time. I need to get him home Ned so that he can lay down."

Ned sighed and kissed James, "I know you are right, I just want him here, you know? Go ahead. I will call you later. Do me a favor, don't let anyone say anything to the press at the house."

"Of course." Brenda gathered everything up for James and left. Once she settled James into the car, where he promptly fell asleep she called Sonny. "Hey Sonny, it's me."

"I was just thinking of you. Are you coming over?" Sonny replied.

"I can't. Look, Alan Quartermaine is going through critical surgery. AJ is home and he has a wife now. I thought you might want to know because of Michael." Brenda stated.

Sonny paused in disbelief, "Who would marry AJ?"

    Brenda laughed, "Well,Carly did."

    "Touche."

"His wife is Sarah Webber." Brenda said as she navigated the car into the driveway of the Quartermaine mansion. "I thought you might want to warn Carly."

Sonny sighed heavily into the phone, "I should call her. Will you have a chance to come over later? I would like to see you if possible."

Brenda smiled into the phone and turned the car off. "I will try. I have to go and I will talk to you later."

Elizabeth walked over to Sarah and sat down next to her, Elizabeth's eyes glowing. She grabbed her sister's hand, "I am so glad you are here. I need a friend right now. But first, I want to here all about how you met AJ."

"Well he got into a small car accident and I was his physican's assistant. We recognized each other and started talking. He asked me for dinner that night and I went and we have been together ever since. That simple." Sarah shrugged. "He was working at this company, Wayne Industries. They merged with Capwell in Santa Barbara, did you hear about that merger?"

"Yeah I did hear something about that merger. They kicked CC Capwell's wife out of the building if I recall." Elizabeth remembered.

Sarah leaned back into the pillows, "You heard right. AJ was high up in the company but there was too many management and he was laid off. I gave my notice at the Clinic and we are moving back to Port Charles." Sarah looked at Elizabeth excitedly, "Which is great because I want to be with you when the baby is born and I never liked one of CC Capwell's daughters anyway so I was glad he lost the job. It was like they shared some secret, like they knew each other in a former life."

Elizabeth laughed, "Oh Sarah, I do doubt that. But weren't you seeing some guy, a doctor for a while?"

Sarah's face clouded. "I was. He is out of the picture." Sarah looked away, "Liz, I don't want to talk about it, ok? Just drop it. How are things with Lucky? Is he loosening up a bit? Want me to talk to him for you?"

"Thanks for the offer," Elizabeth sighed, "But he is being as stubborn as usual. I also don't know what Emily is feeding him. She has it in her head that I want Nikolas. She even asked Alison Barrington to spy on me but Alison shot it right down. Nikolas was going to confront her with it but the whole thing with Alan happened."

"I'll take her down Liz," Sarah said loyally, "You know I will." Sarah laughed, "She must hate the fact that I will be sleeping with her brother in her house knowing that I was with Nikolas."

Elizabeth looked at the clock. "Sarah, you might want to get up to AJ. I have to get going. You will stop by and see Cameron soon, right? Will you call me and let me know how Alan is doing?"

Sarah stood up and pulled Elizabeth up with her, both laughing. "I will." Sarah hugged her sister, "It is so good to be back. I have missed you so much. Tell Gram I will call her later ok?"

Elizabeth nodded as Sarah walked towards the elevators. Sarah got in and pushed the button for the fifth floor. She was looking down at her nails when the door opened and she stepped out right into someone. She looked up and gasped, "Patrick!"

"Sarah! What are you doing here?" A stunned Patrick said.

Sarah hauled back and slapped Patrick hard across the face.

I am going to have to stop writing the blog for the time being. I just have way too much on my plate right now to continue. I work in customer service in an inbound call center. I have to take special licensing (called the Series 6 and the 63) to continue at my job. The time that I would have for writing will be spent studying. When it is over in a few months, I will be back and writing as much as possible. I am in the middle of stories that I believe in and that I can make grow. So if you have been a reader of mine, thank you. If you haven't, take the time to catch up and read back. You may like it!

"I said, I want to have your baby Jax. A little girl. Can't you see it? A beautiful little girl with blond hair and blue eyes just like yours. She would be perfect. I already talked to Lady Jane about it and she is in agreement." Carly cooed.

"You talked to my mother before me? Jesus Carly, this world only needs one you." Jax said, amused.

Carly swatted his arm, "Hey look at Bobbie! She's great. Plus my kids are great."

"Considering their fathers, yes you have done an exceptional job raising your children."

    "Jax!"

"Just stating the facts Carly. Carly, I don't know about us having a child yet. I want to get married first and enjoy being married. Then have a child." Jax said, kissing her head."I also don't want to talk about this now.

Not to be consoled, Carly said, "Jax, I really want this. Think of how much fun we can have practicing" Carly grinned.

    "I know Carly..."

Jax was interrupted when Lucy came out onto the stage. She had changed again, into a white peek a boo floor length gown. "Is everyone having a good time? I know I am, seeing everyone dressed in their finest. I love the Nurse's Ball. I hope you are all going and checking out the silent auction as well. Now, Nikolas Cassadine is going to, shall I say, do a performance for us all. Let's give it up for Nikolas!" Lucy walked off the stage, clapping

"Nikolas, what's this about?" Emily asked. "I didn't know you were going to do anything. "

"Kind of a last minute substitution. Lucy needed someone to talk and she cornered me. Of course I said I would help her out." Nikolas kissed her and walked up to the stage. He grabbed the microphone. "Hello everyone. I am here tonight because I want everyone to know how beautiful a person Emily Quartermaine is. Who here agrees with me?" Nikolas looked at Emily who was blushing, "Does everyone know the beautiful Emily Bowen Quartermaine? She's over there at the Quartermaine table." Nikolas said. "Emily, will you also come up here please? I need you up here"

Emily stammered, embarrassed, "Nikolas, what are you doing?"

"Come on Emily. Don't leave me hanging up here.... Monica, Alan, Ned, get her up here for me." Nikolas pleaded earnestly.

"Go on Em!" Alan yelled, "What's the worst that can happen?"

Emily walked towards the stage as Nikolas got a chair from Lucy. He led Emily to it and sat her in it. Emily brought her hands to her mouth and gasped. "Oh Nikolas, what are you doing? You are embarrassing me."

"Everyone, I love this woman. I love this woman more than life itself. Emily you are the light of my life, the reason that I want to wake up in the morning. You are like a mother to Spencer and I am proud to have you in my life. You are my best friend and..." Nikolas gets down on one knee, "I would like to ask you to become my wife."

Emily jumped up and wrapped her arms around his neck, "Yes!" she yelped. The couple kissed while the crowd enthusiastiastically cheered them on. Nikolas slipped a two carat ring on her finger. At the Quartermaine table, Edward turned to the rest of the Quartermaines and said, "I always liked him. Maybe we can talk about merging our companies."

Tracy looked scornfully around, "Oh please," and downed a shot.

Ned shot a look at his grandfather, "Grandfather, be happy for Emily, and Mother, can it."

Monica looked on with pride at her daughter, "Yes Tracy, let Emily have her night."

Laura ran up to Nikolas and hugged him, "Oh honey, congratulations." She kissed Emily on the cheek, "And welcome to our family as well. You have made
my son so happy for so long. I thank you for that."

"Thank you Mrs. Spencer." Emily said, holding her hands out to Laura. "I love Nikolas so much, you know that

Lucky patted his brother on the back, "You pulled it off Nikolas! Good job."

Elizabeth leaned over and hugged Emily, "Congratulations Em. Let me see the ring." Emily held out her hand, "Oh Nikolas, you have exquisite taste."

"Well, I can't take all the credit." Nikolas said, putting his arm around Emily, "Laura helped me out."

Emily hugged him back, "I loved it and I was so surprised."

Nikolas looked deep in her eyes, "I want to surprise you every day of our lives together."

Lucy walks onto the stage, "I want to congratulate Emily Quartermaine and Nikolas Cassadine on their engagement. You pulled it off! I can't wait for the wedding! After a short break, Ned Ashton will sing a medley of songs from his Eddie Maine days. It has been a long time since we have seen him in those leather pants!" She is about to walk off the stage when something catches her eye, "Wait a minute...." Lucy stares into the crowd, "Is that, no it can't be." The crowd looks to where she is looking. "The light is in my eye but is that the former face of Deception Brenda Barrett? Oh my God! It is! Brenda! What are you doing here?"

The spotlight shines on Brenda, looking ravishing in a black one shoulder dress.

"Brenda!" Robin pushes forward and hugs her best friend. "What are you doing here?"

Brenda hugs her best friend, "I'm back. I am here to stay." Over Robin's shoulder, Brenda's eyes connect with Sonny's.

    Carly freaks out
  7. Tishy
There was a knock on the door of Carly's suite. For the first time since she arrived at Metro Court she was alone. Bobbie and Lulu, who were helping her get dressed had left so they could get dressed. Carly already had her hair done and makeup completed was just waiting for help slipping into her dress. She was wearing a silk bathrobe when she answered the door, "Oh, Sonny. Um, come in." She motioned him in.

Michael and Morgan barrelled in to hug their mother. "I came to drop the kids off. Thank you for letting me spend last night with them. I completely understand that you need to go take care of Jax' mother."

Carly closed the door behind him and said, "I'm glad you understand. I don't know how long it will be before we come back to Port Charles. I want you to know that you can definetly come to Austrailia at any time to visit the boys. Just call me and let me know." She glanced behind her, "Hey boys, be careful for Mommy's dress. Remember you have to get dressed up in suits today."

Morgan piped up, "Daddy said we will look like penguins."

Carly's laughter bubbled over, "You didn't." she commented to Sonny,

Sonny shrugged, "It's true. And only you Carly would have Jason as your Best man. Who will be Jax'?"

    "He asked Ned."

Sonny reached into his pocket and pulled out a gift wrapped box. He handed it to Carly, "I have something for you. This is to remind you of all the good times we had. Hopefully not the bad. When I saw it, I knew it was perfect for you. So consider it a wedding gift. That and the fact that I will stay away for the day. Because even though you are happy, I really don't want you to be happy with Jax."

Carly accepted it and responded, "Thank you Sonny. I want you to be happy but I sure as hell don't want you to be happy with Brenda." She started to open her gift and gasped when she saw it. It was a solid gold panther pin with a ruby eye. "Oh Wow Sonny, this is amazing. I can't accept this. It's too much."

"Yes you can Carly. Remember that you always hold a place in my heart. I will always love you for giving me my sons." He leaned over and kissed her softly. "Goodbye Carly."

The Wedding March was playing and Jax was standing at the altar, Ned next to him. Across from him was Jason and Lulu. The air was perfumed with the heady scent of red and white roses. White and red candles were lit throughout Metro Court. Waiting for the wedding to begin were Luke, Laura, Lucky and Nikolas. Carly and Jax wanted a small wedding and they got it.

Bobbie adjusted the pearls that were entwined in Carly's hair. "You look beautiful Carly. I am so very proud of you. I want you to wear have these pearls. Ruby gave them to me and I want to give them to you. I love you Carly."

Carly wiped the tears from her eyes, "Oh Bobbie, thank you so much." She lifted her hair and Bobbie clasped the pearls around her neck. "We better start." Michael and Morgan preceded them down the aisle, breaking into a run. Carly laughed and the two of them walked down the aisle.

Jax' caught his breath when he saw Carly and Bobbie walk down the aisle towards him. He had never seen her look more beautiful in her strapless white dress with the fur cape. She had pearls in her hair and a trembling smile on her face. Bobbie kissed Carly and handed Carly over to Jax. "You are beautiful Carly and you make me so happy." Jax said.

The pastor started the ceremony, "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join together in holy matrimony Jasper Jax and Caroline Benson. It is my understanding that the couple have written their own vows. Jasper, please begin."

Jax took Carly's hand as she passed her bouquet of red and white roses to Jason. "Carly, the moment you entered my life you turned it upside down. You brought the adventure and the fun back in my life. You brought the love back into my life. Sunlight came into my life when we realized our love for each other. I love Michael and Morgan like my own sons. I can't imagine what my life would be like without you in and I am honored that you want to be my wife.

Carly's nostrils flared as she choked back tears. "Jax you are the light in my life as well. You are such a good man and I am so honored and happy that you want me in your life. You make me feel good about myself, flaws and all. We all know I have flaws." Laughter broke out amongst the guests, "But you love me for me. That's all I want for the rest of my life is for you to love me."

The pastor cleared his throat, "Jasper, do you take Caroline to be your lawful wedded wife?"

"I do." Jax' voice rang out strong and clear

"And Caroline, do you take Jasper to be your lawful wedded husband?"

"I do." Carly said, tears threatening.

The pastor smiled, "I now pronounce you, husband and wife. Jasper, you may kiss your bride." Jax leaned down and kissed Carly and they both broke into laughter as their guests cheered them on. The Spencer clan gathered around them and hugs were going around. Champagne was poured and everyone had a glass.

"May I propose a toast?" Luke raised his voice. He waited until everyone quieted down, "I remember when I discovered that Caroline was a Spencer and by God, she has proven time and time again that she has true Spencer genes. Jax, I hope you know what you have gotten yourself into by joining into this clan. I propose this toast to your health, wealth which Jax, you can always share with your new relatives and happiness. Cheers!" Everyone smiled while Jax and Carly kissed.

Jax then led Carly out to the makeshift dance floor so that they could dance their first dance as husband and wife. The song they chose was "Here and Now", by Luther Vandross. They kissed often to the delight of their guests. Jax then danced with Bobbie and Carly danced with Jason.

"Jason, thank you for being the best friend I could every have. You have been there for me through everything." Carly confessed, "And I love you for that. You have always been my rock."

Jason hugged her tigher, "You know I love you too. You have always been there for me and in my own way, I will miss you too."

    "I will miss you too."

Jax came up to Carly and Jason. "Honey, we have to go in order to make our plane."

Carly disengaged herself from Jason." Ok." Jax addressed everyone,"Thank you so much for coming and helping us celebrate, but we have to leave now. We will be back after Lady Jane is on her feet."

Carly echoed him. "Thank you everyone....I love you all!" With that, Jax and Carly along with Michael and Morgan left Port Charles.

"Good afternoon this is Tiffany Hill reporting for CNN here in Port Charles, New York where last week, the mayor was found dead in the bathroom of the police station that is right behind me." Tiffany spoke professionally into the camera and continued on, "The Mayor suffered a fatal heart attack days after he was sworn back into office. Now word has come to us that there will be a press conference regarding the mayoral race. We understand from the District Attorney Alexis Davis that an election for mayor will be the first Tuesday in February." There was a commotion behind her as the doors to the police station opened and several people walked to the podium. "It looks like the press conference is starting now."

"Good afternoon." Ric started, "It is very unfortunate that we have lost Mayor Floyd in such a tragic manner. My heart goes out to his family, friends and collegues. I was lucky enough to work with him for a short while and it was a pleasure and an honor to work with him. That is why I am here to announce my candiacacy for mayor. In honor of our late Mayor. I will carry on where he left off as Mayor of this fine city. Port Charles, I ask for your support on election day!" Ric was met with snapping cameras and a smattering of applause.

"There you have it." Tiffany turned back to her camera, "Ric Lansing has announced his candiancy for Mayor of Port Charles. A town known for it's crime. Ric Lansing is the half brother of retired crime lord Sonny Corinithos." Tiffany stopped talking and looked behind her where a commotion had broken out. "Wait, there is something going on at the podium. It seems that there is a heckler. Let's tune in."

"Hey Lansing!" Scott Baldwin yelled to a smiling and confident Ric, "Do you really think you can win as mayor?"

"I think I have the qualifications, dedication and the leadership skills to clean up the city Mr Baldwin." Ric said smoothly. "Yes I think I can win as mayor and serve this city well."

Scott grinned back at him, "I object Counselor."

Ric tried hard not to let Scott ruffle his feathers. "Well Mr Baldwin, I am sorry you disagree. We will see what the voters will say on Election Day."

"I am curious Ric, on what platform are you running on? What are your ideas for the city?"

Ric leaned into the microphone, "I plan on getting rid of the crime in the city, on making sure that Sonny Corinthos and Jason Morgan are behind bars for a very long time."

Scott cut him off, "What about the benefits for the employees of the city? Or making sure that the teachers get pay raises? What about things like that. I think you are using this mayoral race as a platform for a vendetta against your brother."

"I categorically deny that!" Ric yelled heatedly. "That is simply not true, I want to serve this city."

Scott cut in like he hadn't heard Ric, "So I think I will run against you Lansing. May the best man win." He offered.

Tiffany looked back into the camera. "Wow. Scott Baldwin, former District Attorney of Port Charles has thrown his hat into the ring, running against Ric Lansing for mayor. I predict that this will be a heated race. Stay tuned to CNN for more regarding this story. This is Tiffany Hill, signing off."

Brenda knocked on Sonny's door later that evening. When he opened the door, she breezed in his penthouse. "Did you see Tiffany's press conference today? Ric is going to go after you. He is trying everything Sonny, even trying to get to you through me. I don't want to be involved in this, I have too much at stake."

Sonny looked at Brenda, happy that she came over. "Hey Bren. I know you are worried about Ric, but there is nothing to worry about. He's harmless."

Brenda raised her hand to her head, "How can you say that Sonny?" She closed her eyes and stepped from foot to foot in frustration, "I do not want Ric digging to deeply into my life. Because you and I used to be involved he thinks that I will be his ticket to bring you down. It's not going to happen."

"I know that Brenda." Sonny tried placating her, "I trust you not to say anything. You have to believe that."

"Do you think I care about whether you trust me or not? This is about my son. God Sonny, when are you going to realize that?" Brenda stamped her foot in frustration. "There are things you don't know about James that can't get out. If Ric were to find out he would hold it over my head."

Sonny wanted to comfort Brenda. He wanted to kiss all her troubles away. Instead he drew her in his arms and said, "I will talk to Ric. Jason and I will take care of it." He leaned back to look into Brenda's eyes. "You need to trust me on this."

"I have trusted you before and it has got me no where, Sonny. This isn't about me. James is my life and I love him with all my heart." Brenda told him sternly.

"I understand that Brenda. I love Michael and Morgan so much it hurts. It hurt so much to have them leave with Carly and Jax but they are better off with them."

"Jax yes, Carly no." Brenda cracked a smile.

Sonny smiled back, "Look, you are here now and I was about to have dinner. Why don't you join me? I could use the company. Jason was here but he left to go check on some things for me than he is spending some time with Alison."

Brenda answered, "Ok. James is down for the night. Thanks for letting me hire Leticia to be his nanny." Brenda followed Sonny into his dining room and sat down across from him. "James has really taken to her. She is helping me out a lot especially on the days that I have to go to the city."

Sonny handed her a plate of chicken parmesean and a glass of wine, "Good, good. Leticia has worked for me for so long that I didn't want her to be jobless. I have to ask you something though. Why are you so scared about James?"

Brenda sighed, "I don't want to lose custody."

    "Could you?"

"I am afraid so. James father knows everything about me and fiercly loves him." Brenda said desperately, "I can't lose him, I can't. I don't have a formal custody agreement."

"Who is his father Brenda?" Sonny asked quietly. When Brenda remained silent he said softly, "I know it's not me and I can only think of one other person who knows you as well as me and would agree to that kind of arrangement and that is Jax. If James is Jax' baby, Carly will come after you and make your life hell. She wants another child."

"The father is not Jax!" Brenda threw down her fork, "You have to trust me Sonny..."

Realization broke over Sonny's face. "Oh my God." Sonny looked shocked as he said, "James is Ned's, isn't he?"

"Mac, Mac. Wake up." Bobbie shook him awake the next morning. "You need to get up and get some food in your stomach. I went out and got some coffee and cinnamon rolls."

Mac rubbed his eyes and tried to wake up. He grabbed a coffee from Bobbie and slowly sipped it. "I'm sorry you slept in a chair last night. I'll sleep on the floor tonight Bobbie."

"It's ok. I will be taking a nap later but it's no big deal." Bobbie sat down on the bed, "How did you sleep?"

"Better. I'm glad you are here. It was the first night I didn't crave a drink. Thanks for listening to everything." Mac said wearily.

Bobbie looked at Mac sympathetically. "Mac you have to first accept that Felicia and Maxie are gone and that it is not your fault. It is so hard, trust me I know. When I lost BJ and was caught kissing Damian Smith, well it was not my proudest moment." Bobbie stopped and took a drink of her coffee. "We all grieve differently but Mac we have to grieve. It's all done in different times but you have to accept that they are gone."

Mac's eyes teared up, "It's just so hard. With BJ, it was an accident. Maxie killed herself and I didn't see how distrurbed she was. I feel like I am to blame and I think I will always feel that way."

Bobbie laid her hand over his and lowered her voice. "You can't blame yourself for this. Now we need to tackle this day. We have to take one day at a time. Why don't you take a shower and we will go for a walk and let the maids clean in here. Maybe catch some lunch or something."

    "What about work Bobbie?"

"I called Alan and requested some personal time. I have so much vacation time accured he said it was ok." Bobbie paused and got up. "I also called Robert and let him know that I was with you and that you were ok. He would like for you to call him."

Mac got up, "I will after I take a shower." He grabbed some clothes and headed for the bathroom, "Bobbie?"

    "Yes Mac?"

    "Thank you."

"No Patrick, I don't like the couch like that." Robin was standing in the living room watching Patrick position the couch in the living room. "It needs to be centered more. Can you move it to the left a little, like two inches? Then I will hang the mural up over it."

Patrick moved the couch over and stood back, admiring his work. "What do you think?"

"Perfect." Robin slowly turned around to survey the room. "I think it came out great. All we have to do is make it a home now."

"Babe, it was my home the moment you and I moved in." Patrick came over and kissed her. "I love you."

Robin closed her eyes and smiled. "I love you too."

Patrick enfolded her in his arms. "I think that this whole house has really come together. The paint job looks great. I am loving the plasma TV and that king size bed is such a bonus. Waking up next to you is the greatest feeling ever." Patrick leaned down and kissed her. Mid kiss, his pager went off. "Oh Robin I have to call the hospital."

"I understand." Robin walked over to some boxes and started to unpack one of them that had some of their knick knacks and books in them. She looked up as he closed his phone. "What's going on?"

"One of my patients needs emergency surgery. Then I have that other surgery scheduled right after that which is going to be about six hours if I am lucky. I am looking at a really full day now." Patrick scratched his head and apologized.

Robin walked over and gave him a kiss. "Honey, we will have other days. I will unpack and put things away. Maybe call Brenda and see what is going on with her and Sonny."

Patrick smiled and kissed her. "Have I told you lately that I love you?"

"You can tell me again." Robin smiled, kissing him back.

    "I love you."

Alan was walking towards the Nursing Station when he felt the pain in his back. It was not the first time he felt in the last few hours. He grimaced and grabbed his back, rubbing it. He saw Monica at the Nurse's Station and stopped over to say hello.

Monica saw that a fine sheen of sweat had broken out on his brow. "Alan, are you ok? I know you didn't sleep last night. You were tossing and turning all night. What's going on?"

"I just couldn't get comfortable last night. Now I have this pain in my back. It keeps throbbing and won't go away. It's spreading too, down my legs. Also, my foot is cold." Alan's face was turning whiter. "I know that there is something wrong."

Immediately Monica yelled for a nurse to get a wheelchair. "Alan we are taking you to the ER to get examined." Alan sat in the wheelchair and the nurse wheeled Alan into the ER and into a room. Monica asked the nurse for either Dr Drake to be paged as well as Emily.

"Alan, I want to perform an echocardigram right now and a CAT scan. I need you to get undressed and put the gown on, ok?" Monica barked to the nurse to get another doctor in there and some nurses to bring in the portable CAT and EKG machine. They quickly complied. "Alan, I am not going to leave here, ok? I will stay here with you."

Alan lay back and closed his eyes. "This is bad, isn't it Monica. What do you think it is?"

"I'm not sure Alan, until I see the EKG." Monica replied.

Emily came bursting into the room. "Mom, Dad, what's going on?" Monica filled Emily in on Alan's symptons and asked Emily to call everyone to get to the hospital as soon as possible.

Emily kissed her father. "I will Mom. I love you Dad and I will be right back." Emily rushed to a phone and called the Mansion. Alice answered and Emily asked to speak to anyone that was home, preferably Ned if he was there.

Ned picked up the phone, "Hi Emily, what's up?"

"It's Dad. He is having some pains and it looks serious. Mom is running some tests. Can you please get everyone down here? I can't tell Grandfather over the phone. Can you please break it to him?" Emily's voice broke as she spoke.

"Is he having a heart attack?" Ned asked, worried.

Emily clutched the phone, "I don't think so. We are doing an EKG and a CAT scan to see what's going on. Can you just please call everyone so I can go back there? I don't want Mom alone right now. This looks bad Ned."

"Of course. We will be there as soon as we can. Go back in there and I will call my mother and Dillion. I will have Brenda call Jason at the same time and try to get him to come. Monica would appreciate that." Ned said.

Emily tried to hold back the tears, "Yes she will. I have to go. Thanks Ned."

Ned hung up the phone with a heavy heart and walked into the living room where Edward was reading the paper and talking with Brenda. Edward looked up and laid down the paper. "Ned, what happened."

"Emily just called from the hospital. It's Alan. He's having pains and they aren't sure what it may be We need to go to the hospital now." Ned spoke softly. "Brenda, can you call Jason and ask him to get to the hospital? I will call Tracy and Dillion from the car. Brenda if you can't get Jason, can you ask Sonny to convince him?" Brenda nodded and left the room.

Edward crumbled. "Not my son. He is stronger than that. He will be ok, right? Right Ned?"

Ned hugged his grandfather and led him towards the door. "He will Grandfather. He takes after you."

CARLY AND HER TWINS ARE IN DANGER

Nikolas watched in horror as his pregnant fiancée is run off the PC Connector Bridge. The outcome will have lasting consequences on the couple, as well as the entire canvas.

"Nikolas was on the phone with Carly, who's driving to Wyndemere at the request of him, when something goes wrong with her car," sets up Tyler Christopher (Nikolas). "Apparently her breaks were cut and she's run off the bridge by a black sedan." Nikolas can see the bridge from Spoon Island and watches as his love crashes into the water.

Nikolas freaks out as he's not only worried about Carly, but his unborn children as well. "Carly is thrown from the vehicle and will suffer some serious internal injuries that affect the lives of her twins," shares Tyler. "It's set up pretty well. The writers have done a good job of making sure this story plays out well."

Meanwhile, the doctors who are attending Robin & Patrick's pregnancy party are called to work (David for Alan and Steven, Kelly and Elizabeth for Carly). News of Carly's accident begins spreading through town and will eventually get back to Sonny and Jason. Jason's at the hospital when he learns of Carly's accident and immediately goes into blame mode.

"Jason blames Nikolas for Carly's accident," previews Steve Burton (Jason). "If Nikolas hadn't pressured her into driving, none of this would have happened, at least in Jason's mind." Nikolas & Jason almost get into a fight, but it's broken up when Dr. Kelly Lee (played by Minae Noji) comes to Nikolas with bad news. Carly's slipping in and out of consciousness since being rescued. Complaints of pain in her uterus and contractions cause Dr. Kelly to examine Carly. Afterwards, it is revealed that Carly has a placental abruption. Things go from bad to worse and Nikolas is faced with a tough decision.

"Nikolas is asked to make a decision no man should ever have to make. Carly's going into shock and as more time slips by, both she and the babies are at risk. Who does Nikolas save? The love of his life? Or his children" previews EP/HW Ryan Chandler. The decision isn't going to be easy for Nikolas. "It's an impossible situation to be in, but I believe we handled it well. The fallout from this story will be massive. Not only will it wrap up some of the stories we have going on, but it will kick off huge stories for the new year."

    CASTING ROUNDUP
    GOING:

Maurice Bernard (Sonny Corinthos) - "Sonny makes a bold move against the man he holds responsible for Carly's accident," previews Maurice Bernard. This incident completely pushes an already fragile Sonny over the edge. Look for Sonny to be off canvas for most of the upcoming year. "Maurice Bernard will continue to be a part of Port Charles in a recurring capacity," says Tishy Smith. An exit interview will be posted with the actor next week.

Ted King (Lorenzo Alcazar) - The rival mob boss escapes from police custody after a final scene with Anna (Finola Hughes). The actor will make sporadic appearances in 2008.

Josh Casaubon (Blake Barrington) Josh asked to be released from his contract. "There was another opportunity that he couldn't pass up. We, as a team, couldn't stand in Josh's way. We appreciate all his work and wish him well in all his endeavors. Says HW Tishy Smith. Casuabon last aired on the Thanksgiving episode.

Kiko Ellsworth (Stan Johnson) - Stan leaves town to make more out of his life. He shares a nice goodbye with Lainey (Kent King) and his mother Epiphany (Sonya Eddy).

Jean-Paul Lavoisier (Dillon Quartermaine) - As rumored in the first edition of the Chronicles, there was one young actor who was ready to leave the show after feeling the character ran it's course. Unfortunately, JP chose to leave before the show finished writing his new storyline. The role will be recast.

Scott Bailey (Hunter Halloway) - The character leaves town after the fear of god is put into him.

    COMING:

Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) - Robert literally dropped in from the sky during Robin & Patrick's party. Robert will be around for the forseeable future as a recurring character. Look for a big story to begin in 2008 involving his character.

Kristina Wagner ("Felicia Jones") - With Felicia's name being dropped by multiple characters, it's only natural to assume she'd return. Kristina has agreed to return to PC for a handful of episodes beginning this month. Maxie is going to need her mother in a big way soon.

Jeff Branson (Blake Barrington) - Jeff is now available for the role of Blake Barrington. The writers have admired his work on "All My Children" and wanted him for this role from the beginning. Now that he is available, the show eagerly snatched him up. His first airdate was yesterday.

Michael Cassidy (Dillon Quartermaine) - Most known for his role on "The O.C." as Zach Stevens and "Cliff Wiatt" on "Hidden Palms," the actor has signed a 6 month deal with PC. The writers wanted to see how audience reception was to his new storyline before offering a long-term deal. He can currently be seen on "Smallville" as Grant Gabriel.

Tom Welling (Laurence Gabriel) - This role was created specially for Tom Welling. Ryan Chandler says, "The story of Laurence Gabriel is a closely guarded secret. I will say this though, Tom Welling is perfect for this role." Tom Welling, a former model is best known for his work in the CW television show "Smallville" and the "Cheaper By the Dozen" movies.

Nikki Reed ("Cassandra") - The "Thirteen" star/writer and "The O.C." actress Nikki Reed has won the role of Cassandra. Cassandra will premiere on the same date as Trey. Many actresses tried out for the role however it was clear from the beginning that Nikki Reed has exactly what it takes to be Cassandra. No other information will be given out at this time.

    STATUS CHANGE:

Kristen Alderson ("Kristina Davis Corinthos") - The young actress has been bumped to recurring. Originally Kristina was to be written out, but after negotiation, it was decided to work around the actress' school schedule.

Wally Kurth ("Ned Ashton") - Wally asked to be let out of his contract so he could take time off to tour. Wally will tape as his schedule permits. Before he left, the actor pitched a return story that will benefit the show greatly. Look for Ned to make frequent out of town trips.

    BLIND ITEMS
DONE DEAL?: Show executives are close to finalizing a deal that would bring a major primetime star to the show was a lead villain. The actor currently stars on a very popular cable show and is a former daytime actor. Look for him to be connected to big players in town.

RETURNING?: Could a character thought to be dead return? If the executive producers have their way, this actor will return sure enough. The holdup? He's currently on contract with another soap opera...and it doesn't seem like he's willing to leave. Sources say the character won't return unless they can get this actor in the role.

BIG STORY FOR 08: We're hearing that a big story has been planned for 2008 that will bring back many fan favorites throughout the course of the year, in short-term roles. All of this will culminate in a big reveal. We're hearing the show's theme for 2008 is "Question Everything, Believe Nothing". Hmmm.......

Turns out that internet leak about big names departing GH is true (see above goings).

"So you two having a nice night out? Where's Patrick and James?" Sonny asked. He signaled to the waiter for a drink and leaned back in his chair, fully aware of the drama going on around him regarding Carly and Brenda and not caring.

Amused at the situation going on around her, Brenda answered, "James is with Ned. He didn't mind watching him so I could go out with Robin. I was thinking of hiring a nanny though."

Sonny raised his hand to accept his drink and offered, "Leticia is always available if you want to bring James over. She is very good with Michael and Morgan and she loves kids."

"Yeah, Carly won't mind that one." Brenda said sarcastically.

"Patrick's on call tonight." Robin sipped her margarita, "Brenda and I haven't seen much of each other so we decided to come out tonight. I need the relaxation. Obviously my life has turned upside down recently."

"I know Robin," Sonny said sympathetically, "I know you and Felicia were close."

Robin shook her head. She wanted to have fun tonight and not get depressed. Plus watching Carly at the bar watch Brenda was fun. Brenda leaned over and laid a hand on Sonny's arm, "What have you been up to lately? I haven't seen you around much." Brenda cooed as she sipped her margarita.

Sonny leaned back in his chair,he knew exactly what Brenda was doing, "a little of this, a little of that."

"How's Jason?" Brenda looked from Robin to Sonny, "Can you believe I once was married to him."

Robin interjected, "I can't." She looked down at her pager, "Shoot, my pager is going off, it's the hospital. I have to go. Sonny do you mind bringing Brenda home? I would appreciate it. Brenda you don't mind do you?"

Brenda shook her head, her hair smoothly falling into place down her back, "Not at all Robin. Call me later."

Robin walked out into the hallway and too her car. She jumped when a hand came down on her shoulder. It was Patrick and he leaned in and kissed her passionately. "Did you like the page I just sent you?"

"That was you?" Robin said, tightening her embrace.

"Yep, I left the hospital and thought we could, you know. Come here." Patrick said. He pulled her into a coat room and started to kiss her passionately. Her hands ran over his chest feverishly and she lightly scratched his chest. She pulled his shirt off and kissed his chest. He quickly discarded her shirt and bra, molding her breasts in his hands. Robin's fingers nimbly undid his pants and she also quickly undid her jeans. Patrick put a condom on, then picked her up. Robin wrapped her legs around his waist as he entered her. She gasped and bit down lightly on his shoulder. They moved together, their passion for each other knowing no bounds. They were both breathing heavily as they both came. Robin kept her legs wrapped tightly around him, not wanting to let go. Patrick tenderly kissed her. "I love you Robin" He breathed in her ear.

"I love you too." She responded, eyes closed.

Jax walked into Metro Court and walked towards an angry Carly. She leaned up and kissed him, but he could sense something was amiss. Checking out the restaurant, he immediately spotted the cause of Carly's mood. "Carly. What's wrong?"

She looked away and ordered a drink, "Nothing. What makes you think something is wrong?"

"Oh I don't know. Because Brenda and Sonny are here having drinks. I know how you are Carly." Jax answered knowingly. "Don't bother hiding it from me."

Carly whipped around and retorted, "I don't know why she has to throw it in my face that she could get Sonny back. That's not what is really bothering me Jax. I am afraid that she will try to get her claws into you and you will want her back."

Patiently Jax took her in his arms and kissed her, "Carly, it has been over between Brenda and I for years. It is you that I love. You are going to have to trust that. You are going to have to trust me."

"Well then, you are going to have to prove it to me." Carly said.

"How can I prove it to you? Can't you trust me?"

Carly looked him squarely in the eye and gave him an ultimatium, "In one month, I want us to get married."

Back in Metro Court, Sonny stared at Brenda, "I know what you are doing and you know what? It's working."

"What are you talking about?" Brenda said innocently.

"Making Carly jealous. If you really wanted to make her jealous, you would kiss me." Sonny said, edging his seat closer.

"Kiss you, you want me to kiss you?" Brenda laughed. "In your dreams Sonny."

Sonny inched closer, "You know you want me too. It used to be so good between us. Let me take you out to dinner. Let me show you that I have changed. Let's give us another chance."

"Another chance for you to trample all over my heart again? You will just go back to Carly if given half a chance. I think you are only using me to get to her. Forget it Sonny. I have a son to think about." Brenda said, raising her drink and sipping it

"I never got over you Brenda. It's always been you." Sonny leaned over and kissed her. He put his hand on the nape of her neck and pulled her close. He pulled back briefly to look into her surprised eyes and kissed her again and again. "Come home with me Brenda." he whispered huskily.

Brenda stood up and smiled faintly, "No Sonny, it won't work." She walked away. Once she got out to the foyer she leaned against the wall, her heart racing. Sonny could still get to her.

Elizabeth knocked on the door to her and Lucky's loft before letting herself in. Nikolas and Emily were there as well as Lucky. "Hi everyone. Lucky, can I talk to you for a moment?"

He looked at her coldly, "Now is not a good time. But feel free to get some of yours and Cameron's stuff." His voice was so cold she could barely recognize it.

Nikolas stepped over to his brother and said in a low voice, "Come on Lucky, hear her out. At least she was brave enough to come here."

"Please Lucky, let's just go to the bedroom and talk." Elizabeth pleaded.

Lucky shook his head, "I am not ready. I can't help it, I am too mad. Give me a couple days to cool down Liz, then we can talk. I will call you."

Emily stood up, "Come on Liz, I will go into the bedroom and help you get some things together." She and Elizabeth walked into the bedroom, leaving the brothers alone.

"Come on Lucky, cut her some slack. She took you back when you were sleeping with Maxie. The least you could do is hear her out." Nikolas tried reasoning.

Lucky stared down his brother, "Do you know how guilty I feel right now? Maxie is dead because of me. My wife is pregnant with another man's baby which she convinently forgot to tell me about. I can't do this right now. I look at Elizabeth and I see Maxie in her final moments. Plus I see Jason. I just can't do it."

"Ok, ok. But talk to her soon. She will need you." Nikolas implored.

"I will." Lucky said, walking towards the kitchen to get a drink.

In the bedroom Emily whirled around on Elizabeth, startling her, "How could you sleep with my brother? How could you do this to Lucky? Have you no conscience?"

"Emily you don't understand." Elizabeth said, opening up some drawers to get some clothes.

"Oh really," Emily folded her arms, "Tell me what I don't understand."

Elizabeth faced her, "I had just seen Lucky with Maxie and I went to Jason. He had just lost Sam not to long ago. We were both upset and lonely and one thing led to another."

"So why didn't you tell either one of them about the paternity? You realize that you could have saved a whole lot of pain if you had been truthful." Emily said self righteously.

"Oh shut up Emily. I know I made a mistake. People make mistakes. We aren't all perfect like you." Elizabeth said, trying to get past her. Emily moved quickly to block her.

"I can't believe that you did this to my brother. This is my brother we are talking about. Not to mention your husband."

Elizabeth spoke calmly, yet getting more angry , "Emily, please move out of my way. This is none of your business. This is between me and Lucky."

Emily backed away, "I will tell you this, we are no longer friends."

Carly sat down at a table at Metro Court and took a sip of her water. She had a late lunch date with Jax. She had gone out shopping for her wedding dress with Lulu and finally found the perfect dress. She even found the perfect dress at Wyndham's for Lulu, who she asked to be in her wedding. She smiled as Jax entered the room and she lifted her cheek so he could kiss it. "Hi Jax. How is your day going?" she asked breezily.

"Very well. I have made such plans for us Carly." Smiled Jax.

Carly leaned forward and put her chim in her hands, "Like what?"

Jax very deliberality shook out his napkin and laid it in his lap, "I have arranged for a minister to marry us here in two weeks. I have a guest list here for you to check out and we will send out the invitations now."

Carly broke in, excitement in her eyes, "Are you serious?"

"Very. I know from Bobbie that you went shopping for your wedding dress and the alterations will be completed by then. Flowers and a string quartet are arranged. Everything is completed. Bobbie is helping me with everything." Jax looked at Carly, whose excitement was seeping out of her pores, "Oh and I booked us rooms for two weeks in Hawaii for me and you. I am sure Sonny won't mind having the boys or if you want them to come with us, I will arrange for a nanny to come with us. The choice is yours."

Carly jumped up and hugged him, "Oh my God!" She raised her hands to her mouth, "Are you serious Jax?"

Jax smiled charismatically, "You want to get married and I want to get married. I say lets do it and lets do it right. We will invite everyone you want. Lady Jane is coming as well as Jerry. Jerry will be my best man."

"I do have a strange request though." Carly asked.

"Tell me whatever you want and it's yours." Jax replied, a smiing broadly and his eyes twinkling.

Carly asked, "Do you mind if I ask Jason to stand up for me instead of a maid of honor? He is my best friend."

    "Of course. Anything else?"

Carly leaned forward and purred, "I want to make love to you right now. Let's go upstairs."

Jax stood up, "I thought you would never ask."

Ric walked into Kelly's. He had been looking everywhere for Scott Baldwin. As luck would have it he decided to stop in for a sandwich and Scott was there. Laughing to himself he sat down across from Scott, uninvited. "Please Lansing, sit down." Scott said sarcastically.

"Don't mind if I do." Ric moitioned to a waitress that he wanted a cup of coffee. "Mind if I join you for lunch? I have a business proposition for you."

Scott laughed, "Business? What business do you and I have to discuss. I just represented your ex wife in your custody battle." He took a bite of his sandwich as the waitress poured Ric his coffee and Ric ordered himself a turkey sandwich. "This ought to be good." He said, wiping his mouth.

Ric took a drink of his coffee and regarded Scott, "Well Baldwin you and I are two great lawyers. I think we should join forces."

Scott sputtered and almost choked on his food. He coughed several times, "Are you serious."

"Very. I think you and I would make a great team." Ric said seriously.

"The likelihood of you and and me working together is about the same as Elvis walking into this building in the next ten seconds. It will never happen Lansing." Scott explained.

Ric asked smoothly, "Why is that Baldwin?"

Scott popped a fry into his mouth, "Conflict of interest."

Confused, Ric asked, "What do you mean, conflict of interest? Are you talking about Alexis?"

"Well that too." Scott leaned back and smiled smugly, "I am Sonny Corinithos lawyer."

Ric rose in anger and half shouted, "What? Sonny? When you were DA you were trying to put him away just as hard as I tried too."

Scott raised his arms and shrugged, "Hey, if you can't beat em, join em."

Alexis and Taggert approach the Scorpio house in the middle of the afternoon. It has been weeks since Felicia and Maxie have died and Mac has not come back to work. On top of that, he has been getting drunk and was hospitalized for excessive drinking. He was out of control. "Taggert, I hate doing this. But the mayor is right. We have to do this."

"Mac will get back on his feet Ms Davis." Taggert said, "He always does."

Alexis rang the bell. The two of them waited several moments before ringing it again. Finally Robert answered the door. "Oh hello Alexis, Taggert. Sorry it took me so long. I was upstairs and I thought Mac was down here. Is something wrong?"

Alexis stepped forward, "Robert, we are on official business. Is Mac around?"

Robert stepped aside and let them into the house, "Please come in. I just need to go find him."

Taggert stopped him by placing his arm on his, "He's not in trouble Robert. We just need to talk to him. Then if you don't mind, Alexis needs to talk to you."

Bewildered at the request, Robert went off to search for his brother. He found him in his bedroom, looking through old photo albums. He was also drinking a beer. "Mac, Alexis and Taggert are here. They want to talk to you."

Mac waved Robert away, "Tell them I'm sleeping or something. Cover for me."

Robert stood steadfast, "Nope mate, you tell them." He walked out of the room and back downstairs. "Mac will be down in a minute." He said to his guests. Five minutes, then ten minutes passed. Robert went to get Mac again who clearly didn't want to see Alexis and Taggert. Finally Mac stumbled down the stairs. His hair wasn't combed and his clothes looked like he had slept in them.

"What do I owe this pleasure?" Mac asked sarcastically.

Alexis came forward and brushed her hair out of her eyes, "Robert, will you excuse us please." Robert left the room and Alexis continued. "Mac, the mayor has requested that we relieve you of your duties as police commissioner effective immediately."

    "What?" Mac roared.

"Mac, I am sorry. However there have been too many instances of public drunkeness." Alexis softened her voice, "Mac, you need to get help."

"No, I need my job. I need something to hold on too." Mac retorted.

Alexis looked at him sympathetically,"It is only temporary Mac."

"Oh yeah, who is my replacement? Taggert? Is that why he is here?"

"Taggert is here to collect your gun and police sheild Mac. That's all. He is not going to be the commissioner." Alexis firmly stated.

Mac said beligerantly, "Tell me who is taking my job! I have a right to know!"

Alexis cleared her throat, "Mac, we haven't approached this person about the job yet. They have no idea." She paused, "The mayor wants us to offer the job to Robert."

An eavesdropping Robert fell into the hallway, "What?" both Scorpio brothers said.

Alexis looked at a sprawled out Robert and waited for him to get up. "Robert, the mayor would like you to be the commissioner. With your extensive background in law enforcement you would be a perfect fit. It would just be temporary until Mac is fit to return."

    "If I disagree?" Robert asked.

"Then we will go elsewhere. But it is a temporary job and then your brother will assume his role. It is just until your brother gets everything under control." Alexis explained.

Angrily Mac looked from Robert to Alexis, "I would appreciate it if when you are talking about me, you also include me in the conversation. Who says I am leaving my job?"

"Mac, if you don't voluntarily take a leave of absence, you will be fired. I have no choice. I asked to come down here to tell you instead of the mayor." explained Alexis. "Mac, please give Taggert your shield and gun."

Mac sighed. He knew he had no choice. He went upstairs to get his things. Alexis turned to Robert, "You are expected at 8 am at the police station to meet the mayor." Once Mac handed everything over and Alexis and Taggert were headed for the door, Robert called out to them.

"Wait! Luke Spencer's not still the mayor is he? Cause I am not working with him...."

Robin meets Brenda in the hospital cafeteria for a quick lunch. Brenda has brought James in to have a checkup and stopped by to see if Robin could spare some time for a quick lunch. Brenda is already sitting down when Robin approaches, "Hi Bren, what's going on?"

"Oh Robin, how are you? How's that handsome doctor of yours?" Brenda says, taking a sip of her coffee and bouncing James from one knee to the next.

"Patrick's great. He is in surgery right now. The house is almost all painted and we are moving in this weekend. I can't wait for you to come over and see it. We will be having a housewarming party soon. Guess what? Tiffany Hill will be there too" Robin took a bite of her sandwich. "I will be so happy to see her. Can I hold my godchild? I take it he is healthy?"

"100 percentile! Robin, you won't believe what I did." Brenda started.

Robin looked at Brenda and kissed James' head, "Oh Brenda! You slept with Sonny didn't you. I can see it all over your face. Why did you do that?"

Brenda sighed heavily, "He figured out about James. He told me to trust him so I did. I do trust him now, it's like this huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I told him everything, how Ned came to visit, how we slept together, everything. He completely understood. He wants me to get a lawyer, but I don't think so."

Robin shook her head, "I agree with you Brenda, there is no need to get lawyers involved. This is Ned we are talking about. He isn't going to do anything. Does Ned know that you told Sonny that he is the father?"

Brenda shook her head as they heard a glass fall to the ground and shatter. Behind them stood Lucy, who had obviously heard everything.

Alison was in the living room at Wyndemere playing with Cameron and Spencer when Emily walked in. "Hi Emily! You just missed Nikolas. I'm not sure where he went but he said he would be back in an hour or so. I think he did mention his mother. The number where he canbe reached if you can't reach his cell is on the desk."

"That's ok Alison." Emily sat down on the couch and looked down at Alison on the floor. "I actually came here to talk to you."

"To me? What for?" a surprised Alison said.

Emily leaned forward and picked up Spencer. "Well, you know I am not happy with the fact that Elizabeth is living here, but Nikolas is being stubborn and won't make her leave. I am asking that you watch Elizabeth and make sure that you know, nothing is happening between Nikolas and Elizabeth. And of course tell me everything that is going on here."

Alison leaned back on her hands and regarded Emily. After a minute of silence descended between them she spoke softly, "No Emily. Sorry, I won't do your dirty work. If you are having problems with Nikolas than you have to deal with them. I won't take part in your scheme."

"You like my brother don't you?" Emily stood up and started walking Spencer around the room as he was starting to fuss a little.

"You know I do Emily but that is not the point. The point is I will not spy on your fiance for you which is what you want me to do." Alison replied.

Emily continued to meander around the room, "Well my point is that Jason trusts me more than anyone. I have a lot of say with him. I can help your relationship with him or I can hurt it with just a few simple words."

Alison burst out laughing. "Are you for real? Emily, you have no idea what you are saying."

"I will even pay you for your services." Emily interjected.

Alison continued to laugh, "You, you make me sound like I am a whore. My services aren't for sale Emily." Alison said with scorn, "The fact of the matter is that I probably have more money than you anyways, I just choose not to access it. Now if you will excuse me, I need to feed Spencer and Cameron." With that, Alison grabbed Cameron's hand and took Spencer from Emily. She left behind a very upset and frustrated Emily.

Lulu and Dillion were up in her room at the Spencer house. Ever since that day at Kelly's they had been meeting secretly, mostly at Lulu's. They were on her bed kissing when they heard voices approach. "Quick, get under the bed!" Dillion rolled off the bed and under it just as Laura opened the door. With her was Tiffany.

"Hi honey, what was that noise?" Laura said.

A flushed Lulu answered, "Um, nothing. I uh, dropped a book, see?" Lulu held up one of her textbooks.

Laura walked closer, "Lulu, you are all flushed, are you getting a cold? This is the flu season and I don't want you getting sick." Laura felt her forehead, "No your forehead feels fine. But you aren't sick are you? Tiffany, she doesn't look sick to you does she?"

With a knowing glance at the open window, Tiffany said, "No, she looks fine, great in fact. Lulu, do you want to come downstairs for a while?"

"No," Lulu said, looking around nervously, "I have some studying to do."

Laura kissed her daughter's forehead, "Ok, honey. Nikolas is on his way here. In fact he should be here now. He wants to talk to you about something, I think Lucky. I will send him up when he gets here."

Lulu scrambled off her bed, "On second thought, I think I will go downstairs. I am kind of thirsty." With a glance behind her, Lulu closed the door.

Tiffany stayed back and whispered to Lulu, "I had a feeling you were going to say that. Next time, tell him to tuck his feet in. One foot was hanging out by the corner."

    Lulu gasped, "My mother."

    "She didn't see."

Bobbie got out of her car and opened up the Brownstone. Her shift was over and she was bone tired. It had been a long day in the OR. The phone rang and she grabbed in and barked a hello.

"Bobbie? It's Mac. I need your help."
  15. Tishy
"Bobbie are you there?" Mac's desperation could be heard through the phone line, "I need help and I don't know who else to go to."

Bobbie said down in a chair and calmly asked, "Mac, where are you? Are you ok? Have you called Robert or Robin? They are really worried about you Mac."

"I am in a hotel room outside of Poughkeepsie. No, you are the only person I have called. I can't face Robert yet, I don't want them to be ashamed of me. I have been here for several days and Bobbie," Mac's voice broke as he started to cry, "I feel so alone. I need you to come up here. You are the only one who understands what it is like to lose so many people."

"Ok Mac," Bobbie stood up and started to walk upstairs. "I am going to throw some clothes in a bag and come stay with you. We will work through this. I am here to help you but I will tell Robert you are ok."

Mac was crying harder, "I can't get the image out of my head. Maxie won't fade. She haunts me Bobbie. So does Felicia. Bobbie, does it end? When you lost BJ, did she ever stop haunting you?"

"Oh Bobbie, I still dream of BJ and I always will. I still dream of Tony." Bobbie was quickly opening drawers and throwing clothes and toiliteries in her duffel bag. "They aren't haunting you, they are visiting. Think of the good times."

"You don't understand me Bobbie!" Mac cried angrily, "I can't think of the good times, I only see Maxie taking a gun to her head. I thought you would understand tragedy. They aren't visiting, they are taunting me. Saying over and over again that I was a horrible father and husband. I can't get rid of them! You have to help me."
He continued to sob harder that it sounded harder for him to breathe.

Bobbie shoved the last of her clothes in her back and zipped it up. She rushed downstairs and grabbed her keys. "Mac, I am on my way. Give me your number and I will call you right back. I will stay on the line with you the whole way there, OK? I will be there as soon as I can."

    "Thank you Bobbie." sobbed Mac.

Jason walked into Sonny's penthouse and made himself comfortable on the couch. He looked up when Sonny walked in, "Hi Sonny, you wanted to see me?"

"Yeah Jason. Did that shipment arrive from Miami on time and get distributed?" Sonny poured himself a drink and offered one to Jason, who declined.

"Yes, everything arrived on schedule and is on it's way to our distributors. The money is on it's way to the Swiss account as we speak." Jason reported. "How are things with you? Have you heard from Carly?"

Sonny sat down across from Jason and crossed his leg. "She and Jax made it to Austraila fine. The boys sounded excited to be on a new adventure. She wanted to pass on hellos to you."

"Thanks." Jason sat there and stared at Sonny for a few moments. "Something on your mind Sonny?"

"Nawww." Sonny smiled before taking a drink.

Jason immediately looked concerned. "Sonny is there something that I need to know about?"

Sonny debated telling Jason and decided too. "Brenda will be around here a lot more." Right then, there was a knock on the door and Max opened the door. "Mr. Corinithos, Emily Quartermaine is here to see Jason."

Jason quickly glanced at Sonny and half stood up, "You mind?"

Sonny shook his head, "Have her come in here. I will go in my study. I have a couple calls to make." He stood up as Emily walked in. "Hello Emily."

Emily walked purposefully towards Jason and sat down, throwing a quick hello to Sonny. She waited for Sonny to exit before saying, "Jason I have to talk to you."

Immediately Jason looked worried, "What's wrong? Is it one of the Quartermaines, is someone sick?"

"No," Emily shook her head, her hair flying in all directions as she looked serious. "It's Alison Barrington."

Jason's brows came together, "What about her?"

"I don't think she's right for you Jason. I think it's too soon after Sam and I am afraid she is using you. I just get this feeling from her that she is, I don't know, trying to get too much out of you right now than you are willing to give. You also have so much going on with Elizabeth and the baby. I don't think it's the right time for you to have a girlfriend right now."

Jason leaned back and stared at Emily. "Emily, did something happen between you and Alison? Where is this coming from?"

Emily sniffed, "Nothing happened." she spoke quickly.

Jason spoke quietly and in a way that suggested that he didn't want Emily to ever mention this again, "Emily stay away from Alison. You really don't know what you are talking about. I don't appreciate you bringing up Sam. I would like it if you please left." He spoke with controlled anger.

"Fine." Emily stood up and made one more attempt, "Just think about it, she's all wrong for you."

"Enough." a now angry Jason said.

Alexis down the path, heading for Kelly's to meet Scott for lunch. He had called her earlier and cajoled her to meet her for lunch. Finally to get him off the phone, she agreed. She was surprised that he was there before she was. "Hello Scott." She laid her coat over a chair and stared at him. "What do you want?"

"What makes you think I want something?" Scott demanded, "You know Alexis, I am starting to get a little bit perturbed that you always think I want something from you."

"Don't you?" Alexis shot back, "Like an endoresment for mayor? Do you really think you can win against Ric? Scott, you were almost disbarred."

"Thanks for reminding me." Scott said wryly. "I would think you would want me to beat your ex. Hey, I figure you owe me one as I won you custody of Molly for you with no publicity." Scott looked up and saw Lulu approaching, "Lulu, two coffees."

"Lulu, a roast beef sandwich too. Thanks." Alexis said. "I knew that would come back to haunt me. You are incorrigible Scott. I should endorse Ric just because you said that."

The door opened as Alexis said that and they heard a familiar voice, "Oh I don't think I need your endorsement Counselor." Ric stated, hanging up his coat. He arrogantly stated, "I will win this election without the help of you. Baldwin here is a joke, not even a real candidate. I will win in a landslide."

Scott grinned up at Ric and said mockingly, "Oh come now Lansing, are you afraid of some competition from me? You know you are. I can smell it from you."

Ric scowled at Scott, "Baldwin, the day I am afraid of you is the day that Alexis here finally does the world a favor and locks up my brother in a prison cell and throws away the key. Which means never. I will stomp on you like an ant."

    "Do you really think so?"

Alexis interrupted, "For God's sake you two, will you please put a sock in it. I would like to eat my lunch in peace and not have to hear you two debate on who's better."

Ric smiled, "That's exactly what we should do. Scott, we should have a televised debate to show the people of Port Charles who the best candidate is for mayor."

Scott leaned back in his chair and smiled confidently, "You got it. Name the time and the place and I will be there with bells on."

Ric grabbed his coat, "I'll get back to you."

Robin walks into MetroCourt looking for Brenda. It had been a while since the two of them had seen each other and talked. Robin sits down and orders a cup of tea. Five minutes pass before Brenda strolls in. “Hi Robin!” Brenda takes her leather jacket off, “How are you?”

Robin sips her tea, “I am good. The house is finally all put together and you should be getting an invitation shortly to our party.”

“Great! I told Sonny about it and he and I are going to come together. Ned found out about us so there really is nothing to hide anymore.” Brenda confided.

“You’re kidding.” Robin leaned forward, “Ned must not have been happy.”

Brenda shook her head, “He wasn’t. I told him I want to move out, which is something that Sonny and I discussed.”

Robin interrupted, “You aren’t moving in with Sonny are you?”

“Oh no.” Brenda paused and ordered a tea and a salad, “I want to live on my own with my son. I have tried to talk to Ned about it, but with Alan being so sick, it hasn’t been the right time. I have found a small house that I want to rent. It’s small, just three bedrooms, perfect for James and me. It’s actually near your house.”

Concerned, Robin leaned back in her chair, “As long as you know what you are doing Brenda. I have seen what Sonny has done to you in the past. I don’t want to see him hurt you again.”

“Everyone keeps saying that.” Brenda confided, “But I am older and my priorities are straight.” She took a bite of her salad. “Oh, did I tell you, I have an appointment with Scott Baldwin to discuss custody of James.”

Robin was stunned, “Are you sure you should do that Brenda? Have you talked to Ned about this? Because this just sounds like Sonny talking.”

Brenda waved her fork around, “No, it’s not Sonny talking.” She said succinctly. “Let’s stop talking about me and Sonny. How’s Patrick?”

“I don’t know,” Robin said slowly. “The last couple days he has been sort of weird. Like he’s pulling away. I don’t really know how to approach him about it.”

“What do you mean pulling away?”

Robin sipped her tea again, “It’s like he is a million miles away. I ask him a question and he brushes me off. Something is bothering him and I don’t know what it is.” Robin paused a minute, “Brenda, he doesn’t even want to have sex right now.”

Brenda toyed with her tea cup, “Well, have you asked him about it?”

“I don’t know what to say to him. I don’t know how to start the conversation. I know he loves me, otherwise why would he surprise me with a house.” Robin stated matter of factly.

“All I can say is be truthful. Ask him if something at work happened. Maybe something happened that you aren’t aware of.” Brenda reasoned.

“True,” Robin glanced at her watch, “I have to go meet my father. Did you see the debate yesterday? I promised that I would help Laura so I am meeting my father and going to the Spencer House.”

“I know, that was pretty wild.” Brenda said, standing up and hugging her friend. “Talk to Patrick, it’s probably nothing. Just your imagination. Just talk to him.”

“And you, be careful. Give my best to Sonny.” Robin hugged Brenda back.

Emily walked into Wyndemere in search of Nikolas. She desperately wanted to patch things up with him. She felt that her grasp on her life was slipping away and she needed to control that. She walked through the foyer and into his study, where he sat, his back to her. “Nikolas, can I talk to you?” Emily asked softly.

Nikolas slowly turned around, “What do you want Emily? I thought we said everything that needed to be said.”

Emily walked closer to him, “Nikolas I am sorry. I shouldn’t have said what I said. You are right, I am jealous of Elizabeth. I am angry at her and I shouldn’t take it out on you.”

“You’re right Emily, you shouldn’t.” Nikolas walked around his desk and sat down on the couch, “You have nothing to be jealous of. Elizabeth is my sister in law. I am just helping her out.”

Emily dropped her head, her hair flying forward, “I know that in my heart, but I can’t help feeling that she is going to try to steal you away from me. She has Jason at the snap of her fingers. You too. She probably only has to smile pretty and Lucky will take her back.”

“Uncalled for Emily.” Nikolas scolded. “That is completely unfair and you know it.”

“I just don’t know why she has to stay here.” Emily pleaded.

“Emily, where else would she go?”

“I don’t know, the Brownstone maybe? I want to work at getting back together with you but it won’t work with her in this house. If you want to get back together, she has to go.” Emily issued the ultimatum.

Nikolas stood up and said in an exasperated tone, “Seriously Emily, if you want to get back together than you have to change your attitude towards Elizabeth. I don't take kindly to ultimatiums. Don’t you trust me?”

    “I do but…”

Emily was interrupted when Elizabeth slowly walked into the room, “Nikolas, I am in labor. My pains are about ten minutes apart and I called the doctor. Can you drive me in?”

“Of course I will. Where is your suitcase?” Nikolas grabbed his keys from his desk, Emily completely forgotten.

“By the door.” Elizabeth grimaced in pain as a contraction racked her body.

Emily threw her arms up in anger. “Oh perfect. Again you run to Elizabeth’s rescue when I need you. You realize that you haven’t even asked me how my father is!” Emily half shouted.

Nikolas apologized, “I’m sorry Emily. Sarah was here and told us how he was and I am glad he is getting better. Now I have to get Elizabeth to the hospital. Can’t you see that?” He turned to Elizabeth, “Alison knows that we are leaving?” Elizabeth nodded. “Good.” With that he guided Elizabeth out the door.

Emily watched the two of them leave and stomped her foot in frustration.

Hours had passed and Elizabeth was in full labor. Jason, Lucky and Nikolas, along with Sarah were in the delivery room with her. Lucky and Nikolas were watching the Super Bowl while Jason paced back and forth. Sarah tried to keep conversation going by discussing baby names. “Liz, since you are probably having this baby today, you should name it after one of the teams or something close to it.”

Jason looked at Sarah and said quietly, “No.”

“If it’s a boy or a girl, I am NOT naming this child Peyton. I hate that name.” Elizabeth said.

One of the doctors came in and examined Elizabeth. “Ok Elizabeth, you are 10 centimeters dilated. It’s time to start pushing. You can only have one person in here though.”

Elizabeth looked imploringly at Lucky who silently agreed to leave. Jason stayed behind and Bobbie came in to help with the delivery. “Ok Elizabeth, once you feel the contractions, we want you to start to push, ok?” Bobbie said.

Elizabeth nodded and when the next contraction came, she pushed hard. “Great job Elizabeth.” Bobbie encouraged.

Jason held her hand and wiped her forehead with a cloth, “You are doing great Liz.”

“Arrgghhhh” Elizabeth grunted as she pushed again. Over and over she pushed for close to thirty minutes before her baby was born.

Elizabeth was crying as the baby was lifted onto her stomach. “Elizabeth, it’s a girl. A beautiful baby girl.” Jason cried, he too wiping away tears. He cut the umbilical cord and Bobbie took the baby to clean her off. “Oh Elizabeth she is gorgeous.”

“I want to hold her.” Elizabeth cried. Soon Bobbie brought her over and Elizabeth and Jason gazed with love at their child. “She is beautiful.”

“Elizabeth we never discussed a name for her.” Jason whispered, kissing her forehead.

Elizabeth cuddled her child to her and leaned back against the pillows, “How about Ava Catherine? She looks like an Ava to me. Ava Catherine Morgan sounds good.”

Jason repeated it to himself a few times and broke into a smile, “I like it a lot. Ava it is. Want me to bring in everyone?”

Bobbie was near the door and overheard Jason, “I’ll do it. Jason, you hold your daughter.” Jason took Ava and kissed her forehead as she let out a howl. Nikolas and Sarah rushed into the room while Lucky stood rooted at the door, taking in the closeness of Jason and Elizabeth. He caught Elizabeth’s eye. His expression glazed over in anger and he turned on his heel and left.

This episode is dedicated to Ava Catherine, born December 28, 2005 and passed December 28 2005. You will always be loved

Elizabeth knocked on the door to her old loft, hoping that Lucky will want to see her. After a few minutes, she goes to leave when the door opens up. “Hi.” Lucky stands there looking at her, “What uh do you want Liz?”

“I was hoping you and I could talk Lucky. It’s been a while and I was just, hoping, you know that you and I could try to talk.” Elizabeth said.

Lucky opened the door wider to let her in, “Um, sure, come on in.” He followed her into the living room and said awkwardly, “Want a drink or something?”

Elizabeth sat down, “I’m ok.” She waited for Lucky to join her before beginning, “Look I know we haven’t talked in a while. I wanted to give you some time to cool off. But we really need to talk. Cameron misses you a lot.”

“I know, I miss you.” Lucky slipped and Elizabeth’s eyes brightened., “I mean, I miss Cameron too. We do need to talk. I need to get past these feelings of betrayal. I know in my head that you wouldn’t have gone to Jason if I hadn’t gone to Maxie. The fact that she is dead because of me just makes it harder.”

“Maybe you should talk to Lainey about it. I thought the police department was going to make you”

“Things sort of fell to the wayside. I will make an appointment with Lainey. I will make it right now. Will you wait a second?” Elizabeth nodded and Lucky went to make the call. He came back and said, “I have an appointment for tomorrow at one. Will you come with me?”

“Of course. I have an appointment though at two. Jason comes with me to my appointments though. Is that going to be a problem for you?” Elizabeth asked.

Lucky shook his head, “I have thought a lot about it and the whole chain of events started with me. This is just a fact of life. I can’t help it. I have to accept Jason.” Lucky laughed ruefully, “I don’t have to like it, but I will accept it.”

“Thank you. You have always known that Jason has been a friend of mine for years. You know, maybe after the baby is born, you and I can go into couples counseling. The baby is due any moment so obviously it would have to be after that. What do you think?” Elizabeth asked. “Because I miss you a lot Lucky.”

“I think we should.” Lucky said, “About the living arrangements…”

Elizabeth stood firm on this. “I think until we get everything squared away, it should stay as it is. Nikolas doesn’t mind me staying there and he has a nanny which helps me a lot. He and Emily broke up, were you aware of that?”

Lucky shook his head, “No I wasn’t.”

Elizabeth sighed, “I don’t know what has happened to her. She seems to think I am after Nikolas. I swear to you Lucky, I am not. You are the only man I want.” Elizabeth stared deep into his eyes, “Please know that.”

Lucky grabbed one of her hands, “I know. I know you aren’t making a play for Nikolas or Jason. I trust you Elizabeth, more than you ever know.” He leaned over and lightly kissed her. “More than you ever know.”

Scott walks into Kelly’s to grab his afternoon sandwich when he immediately notices Ric there, shaking hands and working the crowd for their votes. Annoyed, Scott walked over to Ric. “Lansing, trying to stir up some votes I see?”

“Actually Mr. Baldwin,” Ric started, “I am here to listen to what the people want. Are you aware of what the people of Port Charles want?”

The people at the counter were listening intently at the exchange between the two men. “Yes Lansing, I think I do.”

    “Enlighten us.” Ric said sarcastically.

“The people, and” he gestured to the people at the counter, “correct me if I am wrong will ya? They want better schools so that their children can get a good education. The potholes fixed on Main street.” He looked over at one man at the counter, “You know what one I am talking about, the one right in the middle of Main Street that when I was driving down there I almost lost my entire car down?” The man nodded and Scott continued, “They want lower taxes and more jobs.”

“They also want crime off the streets. That is what I am hearing from all the constituents.” Ric declared hotly.

Scott replied calmly, “That’s your vendetta against Sonny speaking again. I thought we were going to have a debate. How come you haven’t contacted me about it yet?”

“You want a debate?” Ric started.

    “Did I stutter?”

“Fine. Three days from now at MetroCourt. I will contact Bobbie and see if we can have it there.” Ric threw out.

Scott grabbed his sandwich to go and his coat, “Better let me call Bobbie Ric.” Scott drawled, “After all, I am not the one who locked her daughter in a panic room.”

Ned was waiting outside the Quartermaine mansion for Brenda when she arrived home. “You and Sonny are together again Brenda? After all that monster has put you through you run back to him again?”

Brenda slammed shut the door of her car, “For God’s sake Ned, let me at least get out of the car. Who told you that I was with Sonny anyway? Lucy with her big mouth? What are you still sleeping with her?”

    “Does it matter?”

Brenda was indignant, “Yeah it does! You are accusing me of sleeping around when you are doing the same thing. When did it become all right for you to do it and not me? Plus, Sonny and I are different.” Brenda paused, “Oh my God, I can’t believe that I said it.”

    “Said what Brenda?” Ned demanded.

“Sonny and I have a history together. You can’t change that Ned. I am not that same 18 year old girl he got involved with.” Brenda crossed her arms defiantly, “And don’t you go lecturing me about my love life choices. Must I bring up the name Katherine Bell?”

Ned walked around and shouted, “Don’t you go there with me and try to get away from the issue at hand here. I. DO. NOT. WANT. JAMES. NEAR. SONNY. Do you understand that? I don’t want him bonding with Sonny or spending the night. I don’t want a phone call at three am from you saying that James has been shot in a mob war.”

Brenda interjected, “Sonny is out and has been for a while!”

“That’s bull and you know it Brenda!” Ned shouted. “James is too precious to me to be placed in harms way.”

“Like keeping him here under this roof with Tracy here is going to make him the best person he can be? Come on Ned, don’t give me that!” Brenda pointed her finger at him, “You know Ned, maybe it is time for me to move into a place of my own, away from the Quartermaines and away from Sonny. Don’t worry, I won’t be moving in with Sonny.”

Ned was furious when he spoke, “You will NOT be moving out with James, do you hear me?”

Tracy had opened the door and heard Ned. She walked down the stairs and said, “Ned, why do you care if she stays or go?”

“Monica.” David peeked his head into Alan’s room where she sat, exhausted. “Can you please come here a minute?”

Silently Monica got up and kissed Alan’s smooth, cool cheek. “Yes?”

David looked at Monica with concern, “You haven’t slept in over 24 hours and you need to get some rest. You aren’t doing Alan any help here. He is progressing nicely at this moment. One of the nurse’s told me that AJ and Edward are here to sit with Alan for a while and Jason said he would bring you home. You need to shower and clean up and take at least a small nap.” David paused and grabbed her arms, “You know I am right.”

“I know.” Monica sighed and looked back at the door, “I am just afraid that if I leave, something will happen.”

“Monica, if anything happens, I will let you know right away. Deal?” David cajoled.

Monica again looked back at the door, “Ok, let me get my purse.” She went back into the room and kissed Alan again. “I love you Alan and be strong. I have to leave for a little while, but AJ and Edward are coming in for a little bit. I will be back later, I promise. I love you.” She eased open the door and walked out.

She met Jason in the waiting room and together the walked through the hospital. At the Nurse’s Station, Bobbie stopped her to give her a hug and to ask if there was anything she could do to help. Monica declined. Just then, the elevator doors opened and Tiffany emerged with her camera crew.

“Monica,” Tiffany shoved a microphone in Monica’s face, “Do you have a comment on your husband’s condition?”

Monica looked blankly at Tiffany. “What?”

Tiffany repeated the question and Monica came alive, “Who let her in here with a camera crew? I want her barred from this hospital.” She yelled out to no one in particular. To Tiffany she said, “Have you any decency for my husband and family or are you just out chasing another story?”

Tiffany was unfazed, “Monica, whether you like it or not this is news. I don’t care whether you like me or not, I have to report the news.”

Jason stepped in, “Please Tiffany, leave Monica alone. It’s been a tough night and she hasn’t slept. I am asking you nicely to please leave the hospital and leave the Quartermaines alone.” Jason said in a subtly threatening manner.

Tiffany didn’t hesitate, “Jason are you threatening me?”

“I am asking you nicely to please leave Monica alone.” Jason reiterated.

Bobbie came up to Tiffany, “Tiffany, I have called security to escort you and your crew out of the hospital with the order to not let you in again. Please leave.”

Tiffany threw her hair over her shoulder, “I am reporting the news and there is the thing called the Freedom of Information Act. I will get what I want Monica, one way or another.”

Monica had reached her breaking point, “Like hell you will!” She swung a fist and connected with Tiffany’s nose.

“Thanks for the coffee. See ya!” Lucky called and headed out the door of Kelly’s . He almost knocked over Emily in the process. “Oh Emily, I didn’t see you, I am sorry.”

Emily smiled up at him. “It’s ok Lucky. You didn’t spill anything on me.” She paused, not really sure how to act. “Um, how is your Mom doing?”

Lucky sighed, “My father is going all vigilante going after Sam McCall and Helena Cassadine. I can’t go back to work full time yet and Lulu is all freaked out.” He sipped his coffee and gazed at her over the lid of the coffee. “Good news is that my mom is getting out of the hospital today.”

“Oh that’s good! I wanted to come see you, but it just seemed sorta awkward because of you know.” Emily’s voice trailed off.

“I know.” Lucky looked around, “Look, are you busy right now? Do you want to take a walk in the park? It’s a beautiful day, one of the best days of the spring so far.”

Emily glanced at her watch, “Sure, I am on second shift at the hospital so I don’t have to be there until three. Is something wrong?” Emily asked as they headed towards the park.

“Elizabeth and I are divorcing, so no, there is nothing wrong.” With that, Emily’s jaw dropped.

Sarah was walking towards the Nurses Station when she caught glimpse of AJ. She quickened her pace and called out to him. He turned, smiled and waited for her. “Hi Sarah. Have a moment?”

Sarah nuzzled up to him, “For you I have plenty of moments. What’s up? Here to see your father?”

“Yes. I don’t have any meetings right now so I thought I would come see my Dad. How is your day going?” AJ asked.

Sarah started to walk towards the group of couches by the elevators. “Good. I get out in an hour and am going to Metro Court to see if Carly is there. If she's not there, maybe tomorrow. Like I said yesterday, she was very hesitant with me at first. But I brought up the fact that I couldn’t stand Brenda and Robin and she was practically my best friend.” Sarah threw her hair over her shoulder. “She just told me some basic stuff about Brenda, stuff we already knew. Like how she went psycho and ended up in the mental ward when she was the face of Deception.”

AJ lowered his voice, “I know that if anyone can get anything out of Carly, it will be you. You are very persuasive.”

“That I am and I want to make you happy!” Sarah sing songed. “How about we go out to dinner tonight?”

“I think we can manage that.” AJ leaned down and captured his wife’s lips in a deep kiss.

Jason stood in the middle of the living room of Wyndemere waiting for Elizabeth. He didn’t get out of the police station until very late so he stayed the night at Wyndemere. Ava was asleep so he didn’t want to wake her. “Elizabeth!”

“I’m right here.” Elizabeth was carrying Ava and her diaper bag. “Jason I appreciate this.”

“It isn’t even an issue Elizabeth.” Jason flatly stated. “Until Sam is found and away from Helena, my child will not be here.” Jason looked at Nikolas. “My security is a hell of a lot better than yours and I can shoot a lot better than you.”

Nikolas put Spencer down in his playpen, “Jason, it’s ok.” Nikolas leaned down to Cameron’s eye level. “Hey buddy, you going to come visit me soon?”

    “Yep!” Cameron grinned.

“Awesome! High five” Nikolas held his hand up so that Cameron could slap his hand. He then stood up and looked at Elizabeth.

“Um, Jason, do you mind bring Cameron out to the car so I can say goodbye to Nikolas?” Elizabeth said imploringly. "I won't be long."

“Two minutes.” Jason held up two fingers. He dropped his hand and grasped Cameron’s hand. “Let’s go Cameron. Mommy will be outside shortly.”

“Elizabeth, I don’t want you to go. What if Jason has guns that are easily accessible? Cameron could get his hands on one just like that?” Nikolas crossed the room. “Have you thought about that? Maybe you going there is a mistake.”

Elizabeth gazed into Nikolas’ eyes, “Nikolas, I know all this and Jason and I have talked about this. He has one gun in the place and it is locked up. There is no way that Cameron can get it.”

Nikolas stepped close to Elizabeth, “Do you want to go?”

Elizabeth swallowed hard and her heart started beating faster. “I think that for my children it is for the best.”

“That wasn’t the question Elizabeth.” Nikolas whispered.

For a long moment the two looked into each other’s eyes. Finally she whispered, “No.” Nikolas and Elizabeth lean towards each other and tenderly kiss. Nikolas pulls back and smiles. His hands capture the sides of her face as he kisses her over and over. Elizabeth matches him until Ava starts to cry. "Nikolas I have to go."

Jason walks in the room. “Elizabeth, your two minutes are up.” He said impatiently.

    Elizabeth sighed, "Bye Nikolas.

Ric, holding Molly, knocked on the door to Alexis’ house. She looked like she hadn’t slept in weeks. In fact, she hadn’t looked this bad since she had the cancer. “Oh Molly, it’s so good to see you. Your sister just got home about fifteen minutes ago.”

Ric stood at the door. “Alexis, can I talk to you about something?”

Alexis nodded and opened the door wide to let him in. They both walked into the living room where Kristina was playing and Ric set Molly down. For a few moments, they watched the children play. “What’s up Ric?”

“I want to talk about Molly.” Ric started to say.

“I gathered as such but may I remind you of our custody agreement.” Alexis pointed out.

Ric expected her to say that, “Now I know what you are thinking and I am not going to use this to try to win custody of Molly. What I am actually thinking is this. And Alexis, think about it before you say no.”

Alexis dropped her head in her hands, “I feel like impending doom is coming. Go ahead Ric.”

“I think we can both agree that we want Molly and Kristina safe. I very much appreciated you calling me yesterday and having Molly stay with me.” Ric began saying. “Now until Sam and Helena are found”

“No! Molly is not coming to live with you!” Alexis jumped to her feet. “I want my daughters with me!”

“Alexis,” Ric calmly said, “I asked you to please listen. I am not issuing an ultimatum. I have a suggestion. You can say no and that will be ok.” Alexis sat back down and Ric said, “Now, why don’t I move in here until Sam and Helena are caught. I will sleep in the spare room. Just until they are caught.”

Alexis threw a sidelong glance at Ric. “Let me think about it. I will call you later. For now, I want to spend time with my kids.”

Ric stood up and walked towards the door. “Please, think about it. I bet Sonny would appreciate it too.”

“We’ll see.” Alexis closed the door behind him and let out a deep sigh. Then she started to cry.

“Bobbie, I am so glad you could meet me today. I apologize for having to cancel last week, but with the Cassadine case everything is going nuts.” Mac sat down across from Bobbie at Metro Court where they had decided to meet for lunch. “Might I say you look lovely?”

“Yes you can.” Bobbie says pertly. “How are you Mac? What’s going on with the case? Have you been able to find Sam yet?”

Mac picked up a menu and started perusing it. “We have some leads, but nothing concrete yet. This case is taking over my life.” Mac said. “Your brother is turning into my shadow.” Mac cracked.

“Laura’s scheduled to be discharged today so I doubt you will see Luke today. Bobbie said as she and Mac ordered. “She’s doing surprisingly well. She is itching to get out and start her job as mayor.”

Mac played with his napkin and said easily, “I will be much happier working with her than with Scott or Ric. I think she will do a great job. And may he rest in peace, but Laura will be a lot more competent than Floyd ever was.”

“Now Mac.” Bobbie said as their food was placed in front of them, “Scott isn’t a bad person, he is just misunderstood.”

Mac laughed, “If you say so.”

“I say so!” Bobbie chewed her salad thoughtfully and waved her fork. “How are you dealing with everything?”

“You know what Bobbie? I don’t want to talk about it. Not because I am avoiding anything, it’s just that I am getting to a place where I am not thinking about my mistakes all the time.” Mac put his fork down and took a sip of his water. “So I would rather just sit here, have a nice conversation, and enjoy your company.”

Bobbie smiled, “I think we can handle that!”

Jason opened the door of his penthouse to discover an impatient Carly there. “Hey Jase, I need to talk to you.” Acting like she owned the place, she sailed past him and into his living room. She turned around. “Oh, Ava’s here?”

“Yes. What do you want Carly?” Jason said, stoically sitting down.

Carly sank down in a chair, “Jason, I am really worried about you. How are you doing with this whole thing with Sam? You don’t even mention her. At least to me. Have you talked to Sonny about her? I know you have to feel something and you have to get it out.”

“Carly, I don’t want to talk about it.” Jason replied. “I appreciate the concern, but I am not in the mood.”

“This is me Jason, your best friend.” Carly crossed her legs, “You know you can tell me anything.”

Jason set his jaw tightly, “I know I can Carly, but talking about Sam is off limits. At least for now. But I know that I can talk to you if I need to.”

Carly was slightly mollified. “Come on Jason. You thought she was dead, we all did. Now she is alive and we don’t know what is going on with her. That has to make you feel something Jason. I just don’t want you to keep it bottled in.”

Jason raised his voice. “Don’t you think I know this Carly?”

Footsteps could be heard running from up above. Curious, Carly asked, “Who else is here?”

“Jason, I need to get a snack for Cameron.” Elizabeth ran down the stairs and stopped short. “Oh, I didn’t realize you had company.”

Carly whipped around to Jason, “Were you going to tell me that she was here? Jesus Jason. Is she living here or something?”

“Last time I checked, Jason didn’t have to answer to you Carly.” Elizabeth remarked.

“For the time being, Elizabeth is staying with me until Sam is found. I want my daughter safe.” Jason explained.

    “But..”

“Carly you can either accept it or you can leave. Your choice.” Jason crossed his arms and looked at Carly. Elizabeth went into the kitchen, got Cameron’s snack and silently went upstairs.

Carly raised her chin and faced Jason, “I can accept it but I don’t have to like it! Promise me she will be gone when Sam is safe?” Jason nodded. “Ok. Look, I have to go. Give me a hug.” The two embraced. “Jason, you are still my best friend and if you ever want to talk, you know I will drop everything to help.”

“I know Carly. I just have to work through this Sam thing myself.” Jason said as Carly walked out the door.

Robert was heading into the hospital to meet Robin for lunch. It had been a while since he had seen his daughter and they didn’t have the best relationship. He wanted to repair that so meeting for lunch was a start. While waiting for the elevator, his cell phone rang.

    “Scorpio.” Robert said brusquely.

“It’s Tracy. Meet me at Metro Court.”

“Now why would I want to do that?” Robert said smoothly.

Tracy’s voice came across the line, “I want a repeat. Room 416 and be here in a half hour.

“Should I bring a bottle of wine?” Robert asked.

“Of course. Remember this Robert, I am an impatient woman.” Tracy hung up the phone.

All thoughts of Robin forgotten, Robert turned and headed towards his car. He didn’t notice that his daughter was on the roof, watching him leave.

From the heavy trees and bushes lining the Spencer property, Sam watched as the Spencers pulled into their driveway. She saw Luke, Lucky and Nikolas help Laura out of the car while Lulu jumped excitedly up and down. She watched as Laura hugged each of her children and kissed her husband. Sam gazed intently as Lulu wrapped her arms around her mother.

Sam heard Luke ask Nikolas to unlock the house. “This wasn’t supposed to happen this way” Sam thought as she watched helplessly. Nikolas jogged up the walkway and took the steps two at a time. In front of the door was a brown package. Looking at it, Nikolas knew instantly what it was and who it was from. He just didn’t know how much damage it would incur. He turned and started to run down the stairs, yelling at his family to hit the ground.

An explosion filled the air and Nikolas was knocked to the ground, unconscious.

Brenda is standing outside Sonny’s penthouse, arguing on her cell with Ned. He is warning her about her relationship with Sonny yet again. “Brenda, please for our son. Stay away from Sonny. I don’t want to have to do what I may have to do. Please.”

“Ned, You are talking in riddles. What are you talking about?” Brenda tapped her foot impatiently. “What do you mean you don’t want to do something. Can’t you trust me?”

Brenda heard him sigh, “I don’t want to be the bad guy here but I will for James. He is the world to me and I don’t want to see what happened to Michael happen to James.”

“I would like to think that I am a far better mother than Carly is.” Brenda said coldly. “Look, this conversation is going nowhere. If you want to talk about James, contact Scott. We are done.” Brenda slapped the phone shut and knocked on Sonny’s door. When he opened it, she smiled and said hello.

“Hey Bren.” Sonny looked around her and ushered her in. He looked at her in concern and said without preamble. “We have a problem.”

Immediately troubled, Brenda followed his into the living room and asked, “What is it Sonny? What’s going on?”

Sonny held up the tape. “AJ was here today. It seems that Carly and Sarah Quartermaine had a little taped conversation that they want to use against us to take James and Michael away from us.” Sonny said sarcastically.

Brenda’s hand shot to her mouth, “What?” She said in anger. “Are you kidding me?”

“Do I look like I am kidding?” Sonny walked behind the couch and put the tape in a tape player. He pressed play and let Brenda listen to a minute of it where Carly confided to Sarah how Sonny was involved in numerous shootings and that the first time they got married was so that she wouldn’t have to testify against him. Sonny hit stop and said, “It gets worse Brenda. Carly goes on and on about you and how you became in her words obsessed with me and tried to break her and I up. That I drove you crazy, etc, etc.”

Knowing the implications that could come from this tape, Brenda demanded, “Sonny, what are we going to do? Besides ripping those two b!tches throats out I mean! I was just on the phone with Ned and he was hinting at something and it has to be this. I can’t give my son up and I won’t let anyone tell me how to live my life!”

Sonny sat down next to Brenda and drew her in his arms, “I have an idea. You aren’t going to like it, but it may work.” He outlined his plan to her. “Think you can do it?”

Brenda had never been so angry in her life. “Aarrgghh, I hate it but I know you are right Sonny. I’ll do it.” Not happy, she leaned over and kissed him. “I don’t care that she is your ex wife but one thing I am going to do is call Jax. He should know what she is doing.”

Sonny stood up and extended his hand. “Later. We have something important to do.”

“What’s that?” Brenda said distracted, she searched her purse for her cell phone.

“Make love.” He pulled her to her feet and the two of them kissed their way to the bedroom.

Luke strides into the PCPD and immediately catches up to Robert. “Hey where the hell have you been? Did you hear that Sam McCall went all La Femme Nikita on me and my son?”

Robert turns around and faces him, files in his hand. “I heard about what happened. I went to the hospital today and talked to Laura. She said you were out searching for Sam and Helena. You ok mate?”

“I am fine, wind knocked out of me and my ego is bruised that a 25 year old woman beat the crap out of me. But Scorpio you didn’t answer my question. Where the hell were you?”

Robert smirked, “Ahhh, you wouldn’t believe me if I told you.” He started to walk towards the big board where they were tracking leads on the Cassadine case. “Taggert and some of the force are out following up on some leads. I have some detectives near the woods of your house, seeing what we can find.”

Luke persists, “Don’t give me that bull Scorpio.”

“Let’s just say you owe me $1000 bucks Spencer.”

Luke chuckles, “Like hell I do. No way you and Tracy are doing the horizontal bop. You have to proof it to me before I fork over any money.”

Robert smiled his trademark grin, “I know you better than your wife knows you Spencer.” He pulls out his cell and pushes some buttons. “Listen to the message my friend. That’s my proof mate.”

Luke suspiciously takes the phone and listens to the message. His face turns from doubt to disbelief to the realization that Robert and Tracy were somewhat of an item. “You are meeting her tonight at Metro Court?”

“Tomorrow. I have a meeting with Alexis late. So why don’t you pay up now and I can treat her to a nice dinner.”

“I’ll have it later.” Both knew full well that Luke was never going to pay it. “I don’t carry that much cash on me now.”

“We can head right over to the bank Spencer.”

“Don’t you have a case to be working on, like who is trying to kill me?” Luke retorted. “You’ll get your money Scorpio when I am good and ready to give it to you.”

Robert laughed, “Like hell you will. Get out of here and go see your wife.”

Elizabeth steps out of the hospital elevator and heads down to Nikolas’ room. When she gets there, Laura is there alone. “Hi Laura. I brought Spencer here since I knew he is missing his father.” Elizabeth sat down. “Where’s Nikolas?”

“He’s just in the bathroom. He’s being released soon.” Laura looked at Elizabeth uncomfortably, who was now holding Spencer. “Elizabeth I know it’s none of my business but Lucky told me you two are getting divorced.”

Elizabeth hung her head. “I’m sorry Laura, it’s true. It’s just not going to work out with me and Lucky. I will always have a place in my heart for Lucky, he was my first love you know.”

Laura cut her off, “So what is going on with you and Nikolas?”

Nikolas opened the door, “Hey big guy! How is my handsome guy?” Nikolas leaned down and picked up Spencer. “I missed you.”

Laura stood up, “I am just going to go get a cup of coffee. Can I take my grandson with me?”

“Of course.” Nikolas handed Spencer over to Laura and watched as they went out of the room. “I missed you too Elizabeth.”

“Are you ok Nikolas? I was so worried about you.” Elizabeth said.

Nikolas reassured her, “I am fine. Just a few scrapes and some burns. Come here.” He opened up his arms and Elizabeth stepped into them. He brought his lips down to hers and kissed her thoroughly. “I have been wanting to do that since I woke up.”

Elizabeth giggled, “Well I won’t object if you do it again.” They kissed again until they heard a throat being cleared.

“Well, well, well. I was so right about you Elizabeth. I knew you would throw yourself at Nikolas. Did you find out I slept with Lucky yet?” Elizabeth and Nikolas stared in disbelief at an angry Emily. “No? Funny thing was, Nikolas you were there when we were having sex and you had no idea.” Emily turned and flounced away, leaving a stunned Elizabeth and Nikolas behind.

This is the first of a series of five episodes of the Nurse's Ball. Much action will occur. In the next five episodes, a popular character will return and a beloved heroine will suffer a tragedy that will change the citizens of Port Charles forever....

"Good Evening everyone and welcome to the Nurses Ball! A tradition here in Port Charles to raise money for a very worthy cause, AIDS research." The crowd applauds and whistles as Lucy stands in front of the crowd. Everyone in Port Charles is there dressed in their finest. Lucy is in a black strapless chiffon dress and Manolos. The first of many dress changes for her. "Tonight we have many performances from the talented people of General Hospital. We also have a silent auction in the back room. So please, help yourselves to the food and drink and get those checkbooks ready. This is for a worthy cause!" When the applause died down, she announced, "Now to start off our show we have the very handsome Dr. Noah Drake singing "Jesse's Girl". Give a round of applause to Dr Drake!." Lucy walked off the stage and Noah started to sing.

Around the room were several tables filled with the citizens of Port Charles. Everyone from the Quartermaines to the Spencers were there. Bobbie Jones was there with her date, Dr Noah Drake. At their table was Dr Robin Scorpio and Dr Patrick Drake. Across the room was Jasper Jax and his fiancee Carly Corinthos. Carly had stopped at the table to talk to her mother earlier and tell her how beautiful she looked. Carly herself was wearing a rather risque gold lame dress. Sonny Corinthos raised eyebrows when he came with the DA, Alexis Davis. They had reached an amicable agreement regarding Kristina. Now that Alexis was divorced from Ric, Sonny was helping Alexis get the best attorney for the upcoming custody battle for Molly.

At the bar, Maxie glared up at the stage, remembering her deceased boyfriend Jesse. She downs a shot and sees Lucky and Elizabeth at a nearby table. It doesn't help that there is quite a noticeable bump around Elizabeth's middle and she is glowing. Elizabeth is wearing a blue off the shoulder dress and Lucky is in a black tux. Maxie moves off her stool and confronts Lucky.

    "Lucky, Elizabeth."

Lucky sighs, "Maxie, please we have gone over this many times. I am staying with Elizabeth. She has forgiven me for sleeping with you and becoming a drug addict. You need to leave us alone."

"Yes Maxie, please just leave us alone." Elizabeth pleaded.

"Get off your highhorse St. Elizabeth. We all know you are not the saint you claim to be. Lucky loves me!" Maxie cried.

Elizabeth shot back, "No he doesn't. He cheated because you got him high. He belongs with me and our children. You have nothing with him. You mean nothing to him. When are you going to realize that"

"Shut up Elizabeth. What Lucky and I had was special."

Lucky stood up and caught Felicia's eye, "Maxie you are making a scene."

"It's just this song, Jesse's Girl. I was Jesse's girl and he loved me. And now he is gone." Maxie burst into tears, "I can't move on."

Felicia came over, "Thanks Lucky, let's go Maxie."

Lulu, in a peach spaghetti strap dress, was sitting next to Laura. Across the room she saw Dillion and Georgie laughing and having a good time. Lulu sighed, remembering last week when the two of them kissed passionaetly behind Kelly's. He was willing to kiss her and make out with her, but not willing to break up with Georgie. In fact, in public he went out of his way to ignore her and be rude to her. "Honey, what's wrong? Aren't you having a good time?" Laura asked.

"Yes Mom," Lulu looked across the room, tears shimmering in her eyes, "It's just so hard. I really like Dillion and he won't pay any attention to me."

"Oh honey," Laura leaned over and squeezed Lulu's shoulder, "You are a beautiful young woman and you will find a young man who will love you for you. You are young and you will find someone."

Lulu looked at her mother, "But you knew you loved Dad right away."

"Well your father and I went through a lot to get to where we are now."

Lulu stood up, "Well I won't get anywhere with Dillion if I just sit here with my parents. So I am going to go say Hi." Before Laura could say anything Lulu started weaving through the crowd. She stopped at Dillion's elbow, "Hi Dillion, Hi Georgie. Are you guys having a good time?"

Georgie and Dillion turned around, smiles on their faces, "Hi Lulu."

"Are you having a good time? Who are you here with?" Georgie asked.

"I came with my parents and Lucky and Elizabeth. Georgie you look gorgeous." Lulu commented on Georgie's yellow dress.

"Thanks. My Mom helped me pick it out."

Dillion started to look uncomfortable, "Well Lulu, is there anything you want?"

    Georgie swatted him, "Dillion!"

"No, just wanted to say Hi. See you guys later." Lulu turned away before they could see the tears coming down her face.

Lucy comes out on the stage in a new dress, this time a red Valentino with black Jimmy Choos. "Dr Drake, you were wonderful. Isn't he a hunky doctor? Please everyone, continue to write those checks and make sure you check out the silent auction. We will take a short break before the next act."

Thank you Dr Scorpio and the young Dr Patrick Drake. He is as good looking as his father. If I was your age...." She fans her face, Lucy is now wearing a jewel toned wrap around dress. She pleads with the audience, "Now, it's almost at the end of the night and we haven't met our goal yet. Please people, give from your hearts. Think of how many people you will be helping with even five dollars more for AIDS research. Edward, come on, I know you want to write a check for this worthy cause. Bobbie! You too. The Barringtons, we need all your help! Every little bit helps and we need it. Please find it in your heart to give just a little more. There are so many people who will benefit by your donations. Every fifteen seconds, someone dies of AIDS related causes. Fifteen seconds. That's not much time."

Alan stands up with his checkbook in hand, "Lucy I will write you a check for ten thousand dollars if you strip."

    Monica rolls her eyes, "Alan!"

Ned jumps up, "Lucy I will match it!"

    "Ned!" Monica admonishes.

"Hey it's for a good cause, Monica." Ned says. Brenda laughs at him, "I always knew you had a thing for Lucy."

Ned laughs, "Do you blame me?"

From his table, Luke yells, "If you take it off sugar, I will donate a days profits from the club!"

Lucy looked around, "Oh my goodness, gentlemen. Can't you do a little better than that? It takes a little more than that for me to take my clothes off."

Justus stands up, "Five grand as well Lucy!"

The brothers Scorpio lean back and yell, "Five thousand! between the two of us."

Carly looks at Jax, "You better not even think about it."

"It's for a good cause and it's all in good fun Carly," Jax said. "Hey Lucy, count me in for ten grand as well."

Sonny stood up, "Hey Lucy, fifty thousand dollars if you do it."

"Mr Corinthios, thats a lot of money." Lucy said. "Are you sure about this?"

"Well Lucy," Sonny smiled, "We haven't had a Nurse's Ball in a while. It's been that long since I have seen you half naked. I want this check and this dance if you will, to be in the memory of Stone Cates. Who would really appreciate seeing this if he was with us today."

Lucy walks over to the side of the stage and grabs a hat and a chair. Joe Cocker's "You Can Leave Your Hat On" fills the room. Lucy sits down in the chair with the hat on her head and slowly pulls one glove off at a time, using her teeth. She kicks her gold Manolos into the audience and slides around on the chair. She stands up and walks around it, putting one leg on the seat of the chair. Grabbing the hat, she moves it across her body as her hair falls down her back. She then perches it cockeyed on her head. She reaches up her leg and slowly undos her garter that holds her thigh highs in place. Then, she rolls them down and throws them at Edward, winking at him. Lucy walks around the chair and does the same thing with that thigh high, this time throwing it at Justus.

Lucy shimmys to the music as only Lucy can and reaches up to her neck She undos the clasp holding her dress together. She coyly looks at the audience as they cheer her on. She finally takes her dress off, revealing an emerald and black teddy. She moves over to the chair wearing that and the hat and sits down, crossing her legs and proclaims the Nurses Ball over.

On the way out of the Ball, Jax is watching Carly. Her eyes are narrowed as she is watching Sonny approach Brenda across the room. Carly doesn't like it one bit, but it is so crowded and noisy, she can't make out what is going on.

Slyly, Sonny slides up to Brenda who is walking with Ned. "Hey Brenda. Can I bring you home?"

Brenda shakes her head, her hair flying over her shoulders, "Not tonight Sonny. I have had a long flight and I really don't want to get into it with you. Besides, don't you have a date with you?"

"I'm sure Ned wouldn't mind bringing Alexis home." Sonny remarked.

Again Brenda shook her head and started forward. She just didn't want to deal with Sonny tonight. She yawned, "Sonny I am really tired. I am jet lagged. We really don't have anything to talk about."

Sonny pulled Brenda into his arms. He leaned down and kissed her lightly. "Oh Brenda I think we do."

"I think not." Brenda said haughtily and walked away.

Across the room, Carly watches and steams with anger.

The crowd was dispersing when Mac came up to Felicia, "Hey Flea, Robert and I are going to join Luke at the club for an after party drink, just a guys thing. You don't mind do you?"

Felicia smiled, "Of course not. I am kind of tired and I promised Bobbie I would come over to the Brownstone to help her out with some things.I hope you guys have fun." She leaned up and kissed him. "Tonight was fun, Lucy was in rare form."

"That she was. I can't believe that Brenda came back. I wonder what she has in store. Robin will be glad to have her back." Mac replied, putting his arms around her.

"Come on Mac! Get your arse in gear! We don't have all night!" Robert yelled.

Mac glanced back over his shoulder and indicated that he would be right there. Felicia tucked her arm in his, "Well we have a while to find out. Georgie is getting a ride with Dillion. Maxie said she would stop by tomorrow, she said she had something to talk to Georgie about. Even though she lives in Kelly's I am glad that those two are still getting along." she said.

Mac kissed Felicia, "I agree, although at times there is tension."

Felicia shooed him along, "I see your very impatient brother waiting. I will see you when you get home, however I won't stay up. I will leave a light on but I am tired. I will also keep my cell phone on in case you need a ride."

"Felicia, I just call the station and have them come get me. I don't want to bother you. Now go. I love you." Mac watched as Felicia got in the car and started to drive away. He turned and started walking towards his brother but stopped dead in his tracks when the sound of screeching metal and slamming brakes filled the air. He turned, Felicia's car was smashed and the other car was gone.

    What will happen to Felicia?
  23. Tishy
"This, this is your son? Brenda are you serious?" Sonny stammered. "When? How old is he?"

Ned stood up, "Now is the time that I will leave. Brenda, call me if you need anything."

"I will Ned. Thanks." Brenda waited until Ned left before answering, "Yes Sonny, he is my son. James is six months old."

"You know I have to ask this. Is he mine?" Sonny asked.

Brenda sighed, putting her hand to her eyes and facing him, "No Sonny he's not. I know you are trying to populate the city of Port Charles, but James is not yours. He was born on time. The last time we slept together was over 18 months ago. There is no way James is yours. It's impossible that he is yours."

"Is he Jax' baby?" Sonny asked.

"I really don't see how that is any of your business. But for the record, the father is not Jax either. That is all I will say about it. It's not something I want to discuss. Please respect that." Brenda said sternly.

Sonny sat down, "I get it, I get it. Can I at least see him?"

Brenda turned to James, "James, this is my friend Sonny. Want to go see him, maybe play some games? He has a son a little older than you, maybe you two can be friends." She handed James over to Sonny, "Not like Carly would ever let James within a mile of Morgan."

Sonny laughed, "You got a point there. James you are a handsome little boy. You have those dark beautiful eyes like your mother. God Brenda, you were always beautiful, but now even more so. Being a mother agrees with you."

"I love him with all my heart. But Sonny, James and I were on our way out. We are going to the Scorpio house to see what I can do for Robin. I know she's a mess. She and Felicia were always close and I want to see what I can do for her." Brenda paused and took James back. She grabbed his coat and started puttin git on. "I take it you will be at the funeral?"

"Of course. Here, I will walk you out." Sonny offered.

    "Thanks."

There was a knock on Lucy's penthouse at the Metro Court. Dressed casually in sweats and wiping tears she answered the door, "Scott, um, what are you doing here?"

He stepped in, "I thought you might like a friend."

"Thanks, but I think I would rather be alone."

"I don't think so. Let me come in for a little while." He walked past her and into the living room.

"Ok." She drew her hair back and went to sit down on the couch. She cleared her throat, "How is Serena?"

Scott sat across from her on the coffee table, "Serena's good. She's in her senior year at high school now. She wanted to go to boarding school so I let her go. She's happy where she is."

"I still write to her occasionally. I hope she gets my letters. I always send them to Gail and Lee. Do you think we can we call her later?" Lucy asked hopefully.

"Tonight's not a good night. She has a field hockey game. We always call each other on Mondays. Why don't you come over to my place tomorrow and you can call her? I know she would love to hear from you." Scott offered.

"Really? She would?" Lucy asked., her face lighting up.

Scott patted her knee, "Of course she would. Now tell me Lucy, how are you really doing?"

Lucy looked away, tearing welling up in her eyes. "Not very good."

"Oh Lucccyyy, come here." He sat down next to her and gathered her in his arms. She curled up in his arms and cried. When she finished crying, she looked deeply in his eyes and kissed him longingly. She pulled away and kissed him again. "Lucy are you sure?"

"I need you Scott, more than ever. Please Scott, make love to me."

Brenda knocked on the door to the Scorpio house and waited while Robin answered. "Hi Brenda, Hi James. How is my godchild?" Robin asked.

"He's good. Sonny came over and found out about him. He naturally assumed he was the father. Anyways, how are you doing?" Brenda asked, giving Robin a much needed hug.

Robin closed the door behind Brenda and said, "Not well, I think we are all shocked. My father, Mac, Bobbie, Maxie, Georgie, Dillion and Patrick are here. There is a ton of food here. So many people came by with food. The Quartermaines sent their cook over with a turkey and all the trimmings. Maxie is a wreck, so whatever she says to you, don't take it personal."

Brenda shrugged off her coat, "I won't." She followed Robin into the living room and greeted everyone. "Hello everyone. I am so sorry for what has happened."

Everyone looked at Brenda in shock. Seeing her carry a baby was shocking. Bobbie recovered first, "Brenda who's this?"

    "This is my son, James."

Bobbie walked over, "Oh I have to hold him, it's the grandmother in me. You don't mind do you?"

Brenda shook her head and handed James to Bobbie. Brenda walked over to Mac, "How are you Mac. I am so sorry. What can I do?"

Mac mumbled, "There is nothing that can be done. The funeral will be in two days from now. We are waiting to hear from Sean Donely to see if he can get Frisco here in time for the funeral."

Maxie brought a drink to her lips and swallowed, "Don't count on it. When could we ever count on Frisco. My mother dies and we won't be here. He is not a true father."

"He'll try Maxie" Georgie said, from her perch next to Dillion.

    Maxie huffed, "Yeah whatever."

Robin brought Brenda over to Patrick, "I'm sorry you two are meeting under these circumstances. Brenda this is Patrick. Patrick Drake, this is my best friend in the world, Brenda Barrett."

Patrick shook her hand, "I have heard about you. Welcome back. And congrats on the baby."

"Thanks. I'm surprised Luke and Laura aren't here."

Robert walked up to them, "Luke and Laura are at home with Lulu. Naturally she is upset. She saw most of it I understand."

Dillion looked at Georgie and squeezed her hand, "Georgie, I need to go outside and get some fresh air. I will be back momentarily. You don't mind do you?"

Georgie nodded as Dillion walked outside. Once outside he called Lulu. Lulu was sitting dejectedly in her bedroom staring at the wall. She saw that it was Dillion calling and said, "Dillion! I am so glad you called. Where are you?"

"I am at Georgie's." Dillion sighed, "Oh Lulu. I don't know what to do. She is a wreck right now. Everyone is. I want to see you but I can't leave Georgie right now. It will devastate her. Maybe in a little while when everything quiets down we can be together."

Lulu closed her eyes. She knew this was coming. "You have to do the right thing."

"I can't leave her right now Lulu. It will kill her."

Lulu whispered, "I know. Give her my best." She hung up the phone and turned into her pillow, bursting into tears.

    Felicia's Memorial Service
  24. Tishy
The church started filling up early for Felicia's memorial service. All of Felicia's friends and loved ones were able to make it, except for Frisco who Sean Donely said couldn't off his assignment in time. He was in deep cover and for national security couldn't get out. Kevin Collins was in Europe and Lucy tried contacting him again. His answering service indicated that he hadn't yet called in for his messages. But Tiffany and Sean as well as Anna Devane were able to make it. Mac, Georgie, Robert and Robin sat in the front, with an empty seat for Maxie who had yet to show up.

"Georgie." Georgie was sitting next to him and Dillion, "Do you know where Maxie is? She's not here yet and no one has seen her."

Georgie shook her head, "I called her this morning and she said she was just leaving . She was almost ready. She should be here by now." Georgie said, looking worried and checking the pews behind her.

"I hate to start without her but it's getting really late. I will be right back and try calling her. If I can't reach her, well, we are going to have to start. The pastor told me that he has to leave shortly after." Mac got up and walked into the foyer of the church.

Lucy was sitting next to Scott, "Scott, last night you know, doesn't mean that."

Scott looked at her, "Lucy, lets not discuss this. We ARE in a church."

Mac came back and said to Georgie, "Her cell phone is off. We have to start." He nodded towards the pastor to begin. "Felicia Scorpio was a light and an inspiration to many people. A light that was extinguished too soon. We have come together today to celebrate her life and remember her. The family would like to invite anyone to speak to come up and share theie memories of Felicia." The Pastor said.

Luke got up and stood at the pulpit. "Flea was such a spitfire. She didn't have a mean bone in her body, she was a friend to everyone. She always had a smile on her face. She was such a beautiful soul." Luke paused and looked out at the crowd, "There was only one time I think that I didn't see her with a smile on her face. It was when Georgie was born. I think a lot of people remember will remember this as half of Port Charles witnessed it. God in his infinite wisdom decided to give Felicia the honor to have Georgie in my club. May the Lord only allow Felicia to have that honor. Georgie I love you, but it was horrible when it was happening. What a miracle Felicia was and giving birth on the floor of my club just proves it. What is our loss on Earth, is Heaven's gain. Flea, know that you are loved and we will never forget you. I will miss you every single day."

Luke was followed by Robin. "I have known Felicia almost all my life. First as a friend of my parents, then as my uncle's wife. She helped me with so many problems. I felt I could go to her with anything. I went to her with my boy problems, especially when I was just starting out with Stone. Even two weeks ago I was asking her advice in the love department. Robin took a deep breath as she started to choke up, "The one thing that Felicia taught me was patience. Felicia, I want to be just like you when I grow up. You made Uncle Mac so happy. Thank you Felicia, for being you. I love you." Robin started to walk away and burst into tears. Patrick came up to help her back to her seat where he sat, his arm around her.

Sean Donely got up and stood at the pulpit, "Felicia was like a daughter to me. I met her twenty something years ago. Like Luke said, she was a spitfire. She was full of courage and passion. She lit up every room she walked into. She was always up for an adventure. You could tell Felicia that she couldn't do something and boom, she is right there doing it." Sean paused and gathered his thoughts, "There was nothing she couldn't or wouldn't do. She loved Maxie and Georgie so much. They were her reason for living, the light of her soul. When she was pregnant, she positively glowed. She wanted them so much and was so proud of them. Mac, she often told me of the love you two shared. You were the love of her life. I hope you know that. Felicia, I know you are looking down at all of us and want us to be happy, but we will all be a little less happy knowing that the world is without you."

Sean sat down and sniffles could be heard throughout the church. After a moment, the Pastor stood up. "The family would like to thank everyone for celebrating Felicia's life. Please join them at the Quartermaines for a luncheon. This concludes the service. Peace be with you all."

    The Reception

The citizens of Port Charles were mingling around the foyer and living room of the Quartermaine manse. Anna walked up to Mac and kissed him on the cheek, "Mac, I want to offer my condolences. Do you know where Robin is? I would like to see her. Is she doing all right?"

"She is doing as well as can be expected. She has Patrick staying with her, he is never far from her side. Have you met him yet?" Mac asked.

"Yes. I have met her young man, Patrick. I like him a lot." Anna said warmly, "And Mac, I am so sorry. Have the police found anything yet?"

"Alexis is handling everything right now, along with Taggert. I know they have some leads. Yes, Robin has a good guy. Patrick is a lot like Robert though I have to tell you." Mac said.

    Anna laughed, "Lord help her!"

    "Indeed"!

Brenda was holding James in the living room when Jax and Carly walked in, "Good lord, they allowed you to procreate?" Carly said. "That can't be your kid."

"Carly this is not the time or the place." Jax admonished, "Brenda it is good seeing you, however horrible the circumstances. What's the little fellar's name?"

    "James"

"James what?" Carly asked, nostrils flaring.

    "James Edward."

    "You know what I mean."

Haughtily, Brenda walked out the room, "I know exactly what you mean."

Sean and Tiffany were standing with Monica, Alan and Bobbie. "This is so terrible." Tiffany popped a shrimp in her mouth, "I can't believe that Felicia is gone."

Bobbie sighed, "I know. It's such a shock. I don't know if they have any leads either."

"I haven't heard anything." Alan remarked, "but Monica and I have been in the hospital since the accident."

Sean asked, "Did anyone see anything?"

"Not that we are aware of." Monica said. "So Tiffany, how is CNN?"

"I love it. Sean is based out of Washington so I am working out of the DC office. I am a political correspondent. You would think that since my husband is head of the WSB that he would give me scoops but he doesn't." Tiffany laughed.

Sean kissed Tiffany's cheek, "I have to keep the country safe, you know that Tiff."

Bobbie said earnestly, "What happened to Frisco, how come he couldn't make it Sean?"

"Well Bobbie," Sean sighed, "I wish I could have pulled him out of where he is but he is so deep undercover that we couldn't. I even asked the President if I could. He said no. For national security reasons it was impossible. I have explained it to Georgie who seemed to accept it, but Maxie has yet to turn up. When and if she arrives, I will tell her."

"It's just too bad that he had to miss it Sean." Monica said.

    "I know."

Across the foyer, Elizabeth, Lucky, Nikolas and Emily were standing by the buffet table. "So Emily, we really haven't spoken to you since the Ball. Were you surprised that Nikolas proposed?"

Emily blushed, "Well, we had talked about it so I knew it was coming. I just didn't know it was coming that night. So yes I was shocked."

Lucky slapped Nikolas on the back, "You did well brother."

    "Yes he did." Emily said.

"Our wedding was perfect. You guys threw us an awesome wedding." Elizabeth reminisinced.

"That was a fun day." Nikolas said, "Hectic but fun."

"It was perfect Elizabeth, because you are perfect." Lucky said. "And you are carrying my perfect child."

Nikolas punched his brother, "You are such a sap."

"You would be the same way if Emily was pregnant. Cameron is perfect and whether we have a girl or a boy, this child will be perfect." Lucky remarked.

    Elizabeth and Emily laughed, "Men!"

Laura walked up to Luke. "I love you Luke." She leaned up and gave him a kiss on his temple.

"I love you too babe." He rubbed his arms up and down her side.

"Look at our children, they look so happy." Laura remarked, "Except for Lulu. She looks so lost."

Luke kissed Laura, "I'll go talk to her. Cheer her up."

    "Thanks Luke."

The door opened and a very intoxicated Maxie walked in, "Well, well well. The gangs all here." She took a drink of her beer, "I have a few words I want to say."

    Maxie implodes....

  25. Tishy
Elizabeth marched past Lucky and Nikolas and slammed the door behind her. Emily slowly walked out of the bedroom where Nikolas and Lucky were and sat down on the couch. Lucky
stared at the door while Nikolas rubbed his hand over his chin and faced his fiancee, "Emily, what were you two saying in there? We could hear you all the way out here. I was almost ready to go in and get you two. What were you two yelling about?"
Emily pulled her hair back into a ponytail, "I'm sorry I yelled." Emily said sweetly, "Elizabeth just has made me angry and we got in a fight. I didn't mean for it to get out of hand. I just don't understand why she has kept everything so hidden and why she hasn't told anyone anything."
"Emily that's really not our business though, thats between Lucky and Liz." Nikolas reprimanded.
"Thanks Emily. I am really mad at Liz right now so your support means a lot." Lucky said, sitting down in the chair next to the couch.
Emily's eyes narrowed, "See Nikolas, Lucky is fine with it. Anyways, she is gone now." Emily shrugged, "Are we going to order dinner or what?"
Astonished, Nikolas looked between both of them, "Emily do you even know where she was going?"
Emily shook her head, "No, but she will probably go to Jason's." she spit out, "Although my brother shouldn't even let her in. He should be just as mad since she never told him that he was the father of her baby."
Lucky sat down on the edge of a chair, "Nikolas, Emily is probably right. She will end up at Jason's. Her knight in shining armor." He said sarcastically.
Niklolas threw his hands up, "So she has Cameron and she is pregnant and Lucky, you won't let her stay here? What are you that insensitive that you can't let a pregnant woman stay in your house. I realize that what she did was wrong, but she is pregnant." Nikolas started saying.
Lucky interuppted, "I hardly think you are one to judge. Sorry Emily, but remember Courtney Nikolas?"
"Low blow, really low blow." Nikolas replied, "I can't believe that you would do this to her. She is your wife and regardless of the fact that she is carrying someone else's child, she is pregnant and it is December. You have no idea where she is going nor do you care. Lucky, you disgust me." Nikolas put on his jacket and picked up his keys.
Emily stood up,"Where are you going?"
    "To find Elizabeth."

Elizabeth and Cameron knocked on Jason's door. She was hoping against hope that he was there. She wiped a tear from her eye. She was trying to be strong for Cameron and she didn't want Cameron to pick up on her distress. Nor did she want Jason to see her this upset. Jason opened the door, "Elizabeth."
"Jason, we need to talk, can I come in?" Elizabeth asked.
Jason looked behind him and hesitated, "Yeah sure. Come on in." Elizabeth followed him in and sat down on the couch. She waited for Jason to speak. "Liz I was waiting for you to come to me because I know that things with you and Lucky must not be going well."
"You could say that." Elizabeth laughed bitterly.
"So the baby is mine." Jason stated stoically.
Elizabeth sighed, "Yes the baby is yours. I am so sorry that I didn't tell you Jason. I really am. I made so many mistakes. I thought that I was helping Lucky because he was addicted and Carly came over and told you that you weren't the father." She started saying in a rush. "Sam had just died and I didn't want to burden you. I am sorry."
Jason stood up, "It's ok. I mean I have to say I'm not thrilled but what is done is done. I will help you in any way I can. You know that Liz. I want to be part of this baby's life if you will let me. I figured that this baby is mine."
"Of course Jason. If you want to come to the appointments and be there when I deliver, I would love that. I actually need a coach, since neither Lucky or Emily are speaking to me right now. I am not so sure about Nikolas though." Elizabeth confided.
Jason patted her on the knee, "You know I will be there for you. Anything you need, just ask."
"Oh I am so glad you said that Jason because.." Elizabeth stopped when she heard a voice and someone running down the stairs. "Oh Hi Alison. Oh my, this is embarrassing." It was quite obvious that Jason and Alison had just had sex.
Alison Barrington, fresh from a shower and wearing a pair of jeans and one of Jason's shirts said breezily, "Hi Liz. How are you?"
Embarrassed that she caught the two of them, Liz picked up Cameron. "I'm good Alison. Um, Jason, I will call you. I have a doctor's appointment next week if you want to come."
Jason walked her to the door, "I would like to. Let me know. Are you sure that there isn't anything I can do for you tonight? You look upset. Is everything all right?"
"Everything is fine. Have a good night with Alison. She's really nice." Elizabeth smiled.
"It's nothing serious Liz. We just enjoy each other's company."
Elizabeth looked over his shoulder, "You don't owe me any explanations Jason. Look I need to be going. I will talk to you later." Elizabeth then walked out the door. She didn't know what to do or where to go. Her grandmother would normally take her in however she was just getting over surgery and Elizabeth didn't want to burden her or worry her. She walked quickly to Kelly's where she sat down and mentally went over her choices.
"Elizabeth! I have been searching all over for you." Nikolas strode into Kelly's. "Where did you go after you left your place?"
"I went to Jason's." Elizabeth said moodily.
Nikolas sat down across from her and asked, "Do you have a place to stay? Where are you going?"
Elizabeth answered, "I was going to ask Jason, but well, he had some company. Since Gram is sick, I have nowhere. I can't exactly go to the Brownstone because I just can't handle another rejection tonight." Elizabeth peered at him, "Why?"
Nikolas stood up and grabbed her bag. "Come on, you are coming to live with me at Wyndemere until you work things out with Lucky."
"You want me to stay at Wyndemere with you Nikolas?" Elizabeht asked, doubt in her voice, "I don't know. Emily and I got in a big fight and I don't want to come between the two of you. Plus, I don't want to start a war with you and Lucky. He's angry enough as it is and I don't want him to have a relapse."

Nikolas stood at the door of Kelly's, completely sure of his actions. He was trying to right a wrong. "Elizabeth it is the winter and you have no where to go. I have plenty of room. Cameron loves it there and I never see enough of him anyway. Hopefully Lucky will get over this and come around."

    "Are you sure?"

    "Positive."

Elizabeth picked up Cameron and followed Nikolas out the door, "Have you told Emily that I will be staying there? I have never seen her so angry."

Nikolas smiled and tickled Cameron, "I will talk to Emily. She'll get over it."

Robert sauntered into Luke's Club and stopped at the door. He was looking for Mac, again. He knew that Mac was coming to Luke's a lot lately, but he didn't see him there. He saw Luke and walked over to the bar. "Spencer, you seen my brother tonight?"
"I have not. Should I be on the lookout." Luke said, polishing a glass.
"Well, he hasn't been home all day and he was supposed to take Georgie out to dinner tonight. He was a no show. She asked me if I knew where he was, which I didn't. So I decided to go looking for him and thought this would be the first place he would be." Robert answered
Luke leaned against the bar, "Scorpio, should I cut him off when he comes in here? He is getting way out of control."
Robert shook his head, "No, at least here I know he's safe. Just call me the moment he gets here." Robert's phone went off and he answered. It was Taggert informing him that Mac was found outside on a park bench passed out. He was now at the station, drying out. "I'll be right there Taggert. Spencer, gotta go. Taggert said they found Mac at the park, drunk and now he is at the station."
"Scorpio, let me know what I can do to help you. Laura and I will help in every way." Called out Luke.
"Thanks Spencer!" Robert rushed to the door, not looking where he was going and opened it quickly. Tracy Quartermaine was opening it at the same time and she fell forward. He caught her in his arms.
"Hey! Get your hands off of me you louse!" Tracy sputtered, wiping her coat off. "Look what you did. I am all dirty."
"Ahhh, Tracy, you know you loved it. A real man holding you." Robert smirked and winked.
Tracy brushed past him, "Real man! Humph!"
"See ya Tracy." Robert said, taking off. In no time at all he was at the police station where he quickly saw his brother. Mac was a sad sight. He was slumped in a chair by Lucky's desk. He also looked like he had aged ten years in a month. He looked unkempt and you could smell the alcohol a mile away. Robert leaned against Lucky's desk and looked down at his brother, "Mate, you smell like a brewery."
"Go to hell mate. That's where I belong." Mac slurred. "You gonna take me home or what?"
"Thanks Taggert, I'll take him home now." Robert half picked Mac up and guided him out of the police station.
