Minerva_fan you are an amazing writer. I am your protege. Teach me all you know. That story was breathtaking. There is nothing I could invent that would be nearly as amazingly written. I didn't want it to end.

On another note, seriously, I want my Tracy back.

I've dreamt of TQ a lot lately. It should be disturbing but it's just a sign that she's complyetely invaded my psyche. Done it with Stockard, Mary, and now Jane. Lovely.

In regards to the Olive!sex. Tracy is a very sexy woman, especially to those who aren't biased against her thanks to history. Strangers would be attracted to her, drawn to her refined sexuality. I know I would be. That's why I feel compelled to write it from the view of someone who's never met her. No preconceptions -- hell, they may not even know her name. They only know that there is a beautiful woman, alone at the bar, devouring olives in a spine tingling manner.

I'd wile away an evening watching her.

You wanna know my theory on where Tracy is when no one -- including us, unfortunately -- is looking?

Here it is...

She's a super secret agent and is being sent on missions to the farthest corners of the world to kick the mortal asses of criminals under the guise of a rich and aloof tourista. She's currently running back in forth between rescuing Luke from himself and saving LuLu from her own inevitable self-invoked destruction. Like father, like daughter.

Robert doesn't know he almost blew her cover when he said she would've made a good agent. It took a lot of finaggling for her sidestep her orders to terminate him shortly thereafter.

If you ever take me seriously, you're asking for trouble.

Tracy should buy stock in olives. All of the strangers at Metro Court would thank her. All ED treatment drugs would be declared unnecessary. Luke wouldn't need to go off in search of his virility and Holly wouldn't stand a chance.

Okay, I'm in Tracy withdrawal. I haven't seen her since last Tuesday and I need to. I've never menta-ficced so hard in my life. Thankfully, I had the presence of mind not to tape over Mon and Tues because I knew there was a chance I wouldn't see her for awhile. Those eps are my sustenance. Just watching them, I've learned a lot about Tracy's mannerisms and interactions with others; I soaked up her character like a sponge. I'm still working to grasp her voice though.

It's only a spoiler if you know it already

On that front, I started writing a ficlet where Robert kisses Tracy. It only stars her to the point that he kisses her, so I may write another part where the kiss occurs from her vantage point. Thus far, they're looking at each other, mutually stunned at what he's just done. Yeah, Anna has left the area and Tracy is not amused.

I am in desperate need of more Tracy. It's an addiction.

Quick oddball question: How tall is JE?

Tracy so needs a female lover. Preferably one with brains, who isn't psychotic, murderous, or out for revenge against the Quartermaines. I'm thinking we bring back Zoe from The City. They were good together.... Or maybe Marlena from Days. (Oh, just shoot me--I'm still recovering from The Day from Hell, and my brain is shot.)

Yes, yeah, si, oui, and claro que si! Just, you know, in the meantime. At least until Luke comes to his senses, Patrick really enjoys that kiss, or some random stranger bumps into her and sort of likes it. That would turn everyone's idea of her around. Though, it would probably have to be a secret. After the way she treated Lucas, I believe it was, would she want to be seen as that openly hypocritical?

Is this place exclusive?

Uh, hi, I'm Regency and I am new to the love of Tracy Quartermaine. Here's my story: I vaguely remembered the name mentioned in the annals of Soap Opera history and recognized it when someone on my LiveJournal flist started rather obsessing over her--*coughMinerva_Fancough*. I thought she was very pretty, but that was the extent of my interest given that I hadn't watched any soap other than Passions in years. Then, I started my job and basically all we watched was ABC. Naturally, I started catching all their soaps. They all had their strong points, but GH came on and I saw Tracy and I basically flailed like an idiot, because I knew that character. I immediately started looking for info on her and was so sad to find that she gets like no screen time. What is that about? She is amazing!

It seems that every time I find a new television fixation, I discover they're treated like the bastard stepchild of the show. First, Evian on Passions, now Tracy. On top of that, I can only find a little fic on her. I've read just about all of the stories recommended on this board, but I can't find anymore.

I would love to write fic for the bedazzling Ms. Quartermaine, but I fear there's just so much history that I'll never do justice to it all. I've only been watching the show since the end of August, and have seen pathetically little of my favorite character. Since I'm determined to do that fic well, is there anywhere other than the ABC website you'd suggest for research? Should I actually take the time to read each bio and take copious notes to see how everyone's history is intermingled with Tracy's? Do I need a life as clearly as I think I do?
