I don't know about everyone else, but I'm watching 24 nd imagining how I can work Jane in. Um, awesome. It's awesome. That's really all there is to it.

Why does this intrigue me? I want her to do it. I'm not kidding. I think Jane could make this work. I want her to be hurting and angry and devastated and I want someone to pay. Luke can help, he'd better help. When it comes to family, if you're not with Tracy you're against her.

Well, better make it good. A preview of the next chapter of "What Am I?"

Tracy was the last to wake the next morning and only roused at all because she heard what was best described as a mish-mash of voices half whispering not too far way. Stifling a soul-deep yawn, she snuggled into the cushions for a listen.

She heard Monica. “Has she been down here all night?”

And Alan. “I have no idea. I went straight to bed when I came home. I didn’t bother to look.”

Then, her son, the older of the two. “I came downstairs around one this morning, she was still up. She clearly had something on her mind so I left her to it.”

“Why wouldn’t she go upstairs to bed?” She would’ve sighed, but she didn’t want to be heard. It was her father, ever the voice of reason.

She heard a chair being pushed back and the solid footfalls of her brother.

“Depending on how late she actually stayed up, she may have been too exhausted. Besides, she still isn’t up to her old strength yet and tires easily. I think we can expect more nights like this.”

“Speaking of expecting,” came her eldest again. “When can we expect mother to regain her memory?”

Alan sighed and Tracy shifted uncomfortably. She had asked herself a similar question.

“I don’t know. As I told Tracy, it could be tomorrow, or next week, or never. Time will tell whether she remembers anything. Right now all we can do is make things as easy as possible for her, and be supportive.”

“I agree,” Monica chimed in.

“Me, too,” said Emily, who’d previously been a silent party.

Tracy rolled her eyes and pretended to gag. She couldn’t stand that girl and hadn’t liked her from the moment they’d met, though she’d done her best to hide her disdain. She wasn’t sure what exactly rubbed her the wrong way, but every time Emily spoke, Tracy was compelled to throw barware. So far, she’d resisted the urge, but she wouldn’t make any promises for the future.

With a noteworthy groan, she pushed herself upright and stretched languidly. She heard her family mutter collectively in surprise and try to arrange themselves as though they hadn’t been clandestinely hovering over her. She tossed back her hair and turned to look how well they’d accomplished that feat.

Her answering smile would only have passed for pleasant to a complete stranger and it would still have made them uneasy.

Oh, yeah. And you can REALLY see the resemblance between KMo and JE. I could see it today when they were sitting on the couch.

Just saying.

One, I know!!! I'm not the only one who noticed. It's sort of freaky. Maybe she and Alexis share a daughter? WHAT? Stranger things have happened. Can I get a pic of them side by side so I can see the faces together?

Oh, and does Jane (Tracy) not use glasses? I may be wrong, but it seems like she would unless she just has awesome eyesight or has had surgery. Contacts?

I damn near wear glasses so it just seems odd to me.

I hate to disagree, but if that happened I wouldn't be here, so i have to defend my mob folk! Well, the real ones anyway. I'm italian and i know it is a huge stereotype and people will get all wiggy over it, but there are reason we have many stereotypes (don't get me wrong, not all, not even most, but some) and this one happens to apply to my fam. Then again, as far as I know they were all from when the mafia had some class (sort of) and only hurt the people who crossed them and they didn't go after families and there was alot more involved than just getting pissy at someone and having a rumble. So I have to thank my nanna for ignoring that whole "they should stay out of procreation" thing. That being said... my nanna was the most fabulous person I know who raised my grandma away from the mafia and did it very well... and from that time on, I agree that most of them should stay away from anything under the age of 20, let alone having them, especially on tv (this means you Sam and Jason)!!!

Oh, I just meant the fictional ones. I don't deal with genuine mob. Have no reason to. But Sam and Jason don't need kids. They just don't. That kid'll be a plot point in no time. It isn't fair. However, I'm not much invested in JaSam or at all, really.

Topic: *sighs* Tracy is involved in "Another Nasty Scandal" in my latest fic. In the one before, Tracy's in a plane crash and Luke has to accept that he may have lost her forever. In a different fic, Tracy ends up being romanced--genuinely--by Jasper Jacks.

Wow, I'm so sorry I missed the chat last night. I know, I know, no excuses but I'll make them anyway. I stayed up all New Years Eve until 8 am New Years Day, then I fell asleep until 4 in the afternoon. After that me and ma had quality time playing cards and doing word find contests. I swear to goodness it didn't occur to me until 11 that night that I was supposed to chat with you guys. By then I had to go to bed because I'm trying to get back on schedule for school. Sorry!

Don't worry about the picture. Time is of the essence, so I've decided to go with a cover graphic. I've already begun the proofreading process on the stories I'm going to include. Once I've done that, I'll begin figuring out a format (trying to remember that this zine is being sent to a woman with 60-year-old eyes.)

I know you may have already done this, but I've recently gone back to proofread the stories you wanted to use and I've found some nasty little typos and such. So, I can just give you the clean versions if it'll make things less time consuming for you. Not that those will be free of error either.

Topic? Tracy and Coleman have the loudest, greatest, most orgasmic sex in all Port Charles. All Luke can do is a listen and learn.

You know, I'm hanging out on SOC right now and I love how much people love Jane. They may not care for Tracy, but they acknowledge Jane's crazy talent at portraying her. That makes me so happy. And they're not even all from here. Jane is a natural.
