  1. Anybody heard from Regency lately? I haven't seen hide nor hair of her in a while....

Here! I've been uber busy lately. If I'm not studying or dancing, I'm probably asleep. I've been checking in here for the last few days but I haven't had the opportunity to say anything. Haven't even checked my email. What I have been doing is brainstorming TracyQ some more. I've got an idea in the works. Oh, and I'm retroactively taking up the 24-hour fic challenge. Separate entities, though.

*sighs* I'm 3 days behind on watching my GH tape.

    *snuggles Tracy*

  2. I just wanted to check in and thank everyone for the killer reviews for Fear Not and It Wasn't Laura. I was nervous about posting and y'all put me so at ease. I think that'll make posting anything else a lot easier. I should've started earlier though because I'm wiped out. Tomorrow I will hopefully be ready to post the little The Lovely Bones inspired fic I talked about in chat a few days ago. It turned out LuNacy, too. My imagination has been converted.

MinervFan, those "Ten Little Bunnies" are very pretty. I'll have to consider adopting one tomorrow.

  3. Whoa, there are more than two people here at a time. What do you know?

It seems like I've missed so much. :( All the fun happens when I'm enduring exhaustion and RL crises. I have nothing substantial to contribute, just wanted to say I haven't died.

Forgive me for no updates. They actually exist, they're just with me and not posted.

*stalks Tracy on the European Express.*

    *waves to Lainey and ILoveTracyQ*

  4. Here the first chapter of something I started a few hours ago. Hopefully you enjoy it. It's European Express Chapter 1. Like I mentioned previously, I have the first chapter of the other fic. It's already posted on my lj, but I'm gonna wait to post it on the tq_ficathon. :D Eventually, I'll have to start posting on ff.net and my fanfiction website again, but I don't feel up to it at this point.

    Now, I'm exhausted.

  5. Good news is barring any unforseen obstacles, the first chapter of the pretentiously titled, "A Wicked Wind Blew Yesterday" will be posted tonight. *fingers crossed*

But first, I have to work. Ack!

Ms. Q I loved no going back. It rang true for me in every way. *high-fives* Tracy...? Being motherly? Scandalous.

  6. *waves to Nex4evr and Lainey Bev*

Yeah, I noticed what he said as well. I whooped a little. At the same time, not so much. Basically, if she can't stay, she has to let him go. If that means let him go to Tracy, I'm not feeling it. If you love someone, love them, even in absentia. I don't want Luke to settle for contentment with Tracy. I want him to be there because he's realized that he and Laura no longer go together. That's just my feeling.

Lainey! I forgot to tell you. I finally got around to reading "Awakenings." I died. It was the very end that knocked me out. I wanted to cry. It felt like vintage GH.

  7. The one rare time I'm able to hang out in the break room early, no one's here and it's acting wonky. WTG, Break Room!

The only way the Lulu/Luke scene could've been improved is with the brief appearance of Tracy at the end. No real purpose, just her presence would've done it.

I know this isn't the place to say it, but TG looked sort of really sexy today.

Damn school for keeping me from hanging out here at all hours. I've got tons to do tonight. *crosses fingers* for tomorrow night. Is everyone still reeling from the new routine as I am?

More Topic? Jane has seriously incredible teeth. And I love her cheekbones. I can totally imitate her mannerisms now. It's freaky.

  8. Whoa, MineraFan, just whoa. I loved that. I almost wanted that to be the real Tracy. Of course, I have a thing for the darker side of Tracy. I say, if you're gonna be called TEH EVOL OF ALL TEH EVOLS, be the biggest baddest EVOL you can be.

Oh, and I finished a thing. This is the third TQ thing I've done. It's sort of a second incarnation of the second thing that took a rather interesting turn. It bottomed out around 1,500 words. I don't know what to do with it now.

I know it doesn't fit the current storylines at all, but I want Tracy to be pressed against a wall and kissed until she's woozy. If Luke won't, I will write a person specifically for that purpose--to just walk onto a scene in which Tracy is not the focus and kiss her until she is duely compensated for the writers' inattention.

Edit: Guess I'll show it to you. Keep in mind, this is unbetaed. Other than that, go for it : Four Martinis Make An Evening

  9. Of course I hang around TWOP. And of course I knocked Ms. Livingston's "acting choices." I tend to lurk, um, everywhere because I'm not very clever, but that is mah hood.

Mmm, I miss the curly hair. I loved the jacket. I miss Luke. A LOT of what's happenings stems from his absence of late, or, you know, general absence as a whole from LuLu's life. She needs his word that she was wanted. So that, no matter what decision she makes, it won't be colored by that.

Okay, Tracy needs to approach her stepdaughter alone because Edward will make any innocuous situation that much less innocuous. Lulu might have a positive response if she approached her woman to woman. I give. Lulu should just read Deb's lovely bit of realism and take cues from there. I mean there's not a person who knows Tracy better than Deb. She is Lila-esque in her in-depth knowledge of the indomitable TQ.

  10. So, I have two queries.

On canvas, do you guys prefer dramatic or comedic Tracy?

In fanfiction, do you prefer angsty or playful Tracy? Better yet, do you prefer her in dramatic struggles for her independence and/or sanity or do you prefer her flirting with a spiky-haired nuisance over coffee?

I'm asking partly out of curiousity, partly out of a need to figure out which of my Tracys will go over better with the bunch of you. I'm not particulary funny, but I am angsty to levels of angstiness that are not healthy. I have made people cry. Everyone okay with that?

  11. Thanks Regency!

    (snip)

Mind you, I wouldn't mind Tracy stealing it out from under its current owners, but that's another story altogether.

    You're welcome!

And agreed! They're not even home. It'd be like taking candy from an infant...which might be a favor actually, with choking hazards and all. That goes for CarJax, too.

BTW, I just need to say that I think Edward used to hit Tracy. I'm watching the "Not Ready To Make Nice" vid and that scene where he raises his hand to her doesn't seem like a onetime occurence. Especially considering the scene after Lila's death where she flinches away from him. (Yes, that could also be denial, but eh, I'm not so sure.) I could be overanalyzing this, though, I doubt it.

  12. Survey anyone?

    I'm ready.

    Question #1:

What would Tracy go back and change about her life? Try to choose only ONE thing.

Not giving Ned and Dillon the kind of mother she had. A present and supportive one.

    #2:

Who does she think of most when in a melancholy mood?

Lost loves? Lost battles? Or her own regrets? Or something else.

A little bit of all of them. She thinks of the life she would've had if things had ever gone her way.

    #3

Tracy can secretly tie a man in knots with her tongue. And only Robert Scorpio knows it.

    #4

Tracy would kill for her boys.

    #5

What Tracy loves best about Luke is his wit.

    #6

Tracy admires Alan more than any other person on earth, because he has their father's respect.

    #7

Tracy has been married how many times and name her husbands in order.

She's a five-timer. 1. Lord Larry Asston...I mean, Ashton. 2. !@#$%^&*] Williams--uh, Mitch. 3. Paul Hornysby (wow, this is getting old). 4. Gino Solieto...nothing I can do to that name. Besides, he's a mobster; he might come back from the dead to kick my ass. 5. Fluke Spencer; that sounds about right.

    #8

Tracy keeps a voice recorder in her nightstand. You never know when you'll have a particularly EVOL idea to ruin someone's life. Or just, you know, wanna hear yourself speak.

    #9

Tracy is currently reading Wicked Gelphie fanfiction. She knew as soon as she started reading the book that they'd been getting it on for a while.

    #10

    Tracy's best traits are:

Her ability to detect and see through bullshit, her seductive hair flip, her legs, smile, her deviousness, her somewhat warped dedication to family.

    #11

    Tracy's worst traits are:

Her inability to pull off her schemes without getting caught, her inability to stand up to her father, her greed, her process for choosing prospective life mates, her definitely warped efforts to protect her family.

    #12 Essay question:

The reason I am the world's biggest Tracy fan(or just a Tracy fan) is:

Because I saw her and I didn't see the ghost of beauty, I saw beauty as it still exists today. I'm not turned off by the though of this woman in low-cut dress. I'm not turned off by the thought of her having done dark things for whatever purpose she deemed necessary. I'm not turned off by the fact that she has two adult sons and that she sometimes hardly seems to know them. I think there's more to her than we will ever see again. I think she is seductive, intelligent, deep, haunted, and scarred. Women like that fascinate me because I can rewrite them however I wish and they will still be who they are. Because they perservere when a number of us would've given up. They move on, they push their experiences and pain into a tiny box and shove it to the darkest corner of their minds, and then they keep going. And they hardly complain about what was done to them, instead accepting their part in it, even in its unfairness. They are strong women with weak points. Tracy Quartermaine is this woman and though I doubt she will ever be allowed to rise above her sub-Hell pedestal, I know she's better than she gets credit for. That's why I watch her and that's why I write her. It's why I'm a fan.

If it's of any consolation, Tracy looked a bit like an underripe olive today. A pretty one, but one shrouded in loose fitting, billowing Chanel pants. How attractive. I mean it, Robert needs to show back up just so the woman can have an excuse to wear a skirt again. Whatever was her motivation for putting them away?

I have a backtrack a few weeks to ask a fairly pertinent question: Was I the only one who thought Tracy was about to kiss Lorenzo in the Metro Court bar? The cut was so suspicious. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but it looked to me like the kissed him, but the director cut to the camera to pull a gotcha on us.

In other news, Tracy helped plan Lulu's party! Awww. Now, she has to be snarky to hide her good intentions. That's the TQ I know and love.

  14. Regency, here is the olive scene. Credit to Shaurice.

Thanks so much, MsQ. Really inspiring. Oh my god, she is so angry in this scene, and yet really sexy. Extremely. There was a lot of hair flipping. I am a hair-flipping maniac. It is sex to me. It is sex on TracyQ. *melts* Wait, what was that...I hazard to call it music in the background. That was slow sex music.

    Edit: Dude, page 114!

  15. Edit #1: *waves to Regency* How's the fanfic coming?

*waves* Hey, MsQ. It's going all right. I haven't got a ton of Tracy as inspiration but so far so good. The scene that's most inspiring is one I don't have. You wouldn't happened to have access to the bar scene in which Tracy's lovely olives were featured, would you?

I've started so many fics it's pathetic. Frankly, Luke is not coming out on top and I've tightened my angst cap for a long fascination.
