  1. Kim Zimmer said in an interview when promoting her arrival on Santa Barbara in 1992 that After leaving GL in August 1990 and moving to LA, Generations offered her a role in 1990. Zimmer never said what role it was & probably best she didnt say yes, Given that Generations left NBC airwaves in January 1991.

  2. Mark Mortimer was also on the short list for the Dusty recast that Grayson McCouch got on ATWT in 2003

    December 99 Digest

Hank Cheyne and Mark Mortimer tested for AMC's Jake recast.

Given that MM was born in 1967, I could see him as Jake. That means we wouldnt have had J Eddie Peck. Damn I wish it was Hank or Mark instead

  3. October 1998 Digest - actors who auditioned for DAYS' role of "the man from Nicole's past" included Randolph Mantooth, Forry Smith, and Frank Converse.

I guess that was the man who knew she was in porn. I can't remember who played him.

Eddie Valez it was her father, Paul if I remember correctly

  4. Names rumored as recasts when OLTL fired Kale Browne as Sam:

Gregg Marx, Dennis Parlato, Randolph Mantooth, John Martin.

Kind of off they'd even consider two actors who had been fairly high profile on OLTL (especially Parlato).

Greg woulda been good. John Martin had already played John Russell on OLTL from 1986-89 and 1991-92 and on GH in 1992, so maybe thats why ABC passed on him for Sam.

Kinda funny that the Sam recast happened what before LIVE WEEK & Dennis Parlato was seen at the casino in a scene. Remember matt at the end of each of the lIVE shows, saying I see Dead people and then the dead character was the one who showed the end credits

  5. Cynthia Preston tested as GH's Summer before the role of Faith was created for her.

Maeve Quinlan tested for AMC's "Dinah" (I assume that was Di).

I think Dinah was a code for Dee Kozack a role that was featured in the A&E AMC Bio in 2002. It was a role they ended up scrapping
