I hope we do get an interview with  HW's Patrick Mulcahey & Elizabeth Korte soon. I am excited to hear their ideas for GH in their own words.

Back To Aidan: I think we did get a recast because they have story planned for him and Tristan Riggs has more diverse acting roles on his resume than Enzo currently has.

I don't get how that correlates to how episodes end and continue to the next episode.  That's a writing issue to me.  I get that scenes are shot out of order, but that shouldn't really affect how writers write episodes. 

It's also an editing issue visually. Maybe there is some miscommunication there but there were days where I was like Oh I guess its a new day

As for RH/Liz: I am believing that since the show seems to be moving forward with Aidan getting bullied for being gay, that they will use more of RH in that and are saving up her guarntees

He'll assume exiting actors can't or won't go anywhere else and then get sullen when they do. And we know he wanted Genie to go recurring. When he doesn't get his way he can turn cold on a performer (VM, many others) or become very stubborn (ME, RH). And I think, as I've said before, after he and Ron became the toast of the town it went to his head. I think he began to believe he was one of the saviors of soaps (because he was) but more than that, that he was The Savior, that he had a 'vision' for salvaging the genre on ABC under his own aegis. And everything since he let Ron get cut loose has too often felt utterly micromanaged to within an inch of his life for his private fiefdom, his tastes, his budgetary restrictions and considerations and his often very banal casting choices and preferred characters vs. anything truly risky or exciting. Because risky might risk getting the show cancelled. And in the end keeping it on is what FV cares about above all.

I would be happy to see him go, if someone is capable of keeping the show financially solvent. But right now my interest is in seeing him reduced to his former, best role: Facilitator for other creatives. We have a ways to go to see if that gets there.

Sipposedly Frank learned how to budget from Gary Tomlin so maybe him as GH EP?  I doubt we will see a brand new EP to daytime take over  GH, DAYS, B& B or Y &R again.

Guess I do not see it that way. I started GH in 1992 and until around 2002 it had a real community/Family feel. Then Guza/Pratt made it The Sorpranos. RC started doing better but he backtracked and basicaly since 2002 for me, this feels like the GH I watched in the 90s

I guess Im in the minority I dont mind the quiet GH days. Thursday was all family and community interaction. Today was about The Stakes with Sonny andmaybe Krissy having some self relevation about the baby

 

Next week according to spoilers look to have more action and stories moving forward with some nice character moments

We all know Chavez is too busy to return to GH right now. That means any return would come a good while from now, and if Chavez hits big in primetime and films, he'd be back for a short stint only.

Would Frank Valentini sideline the Spencer character indefinitely in hopes NAC will return one day? Unfortunately, I think he would -- and that hurts the show. The guy recasts all over the place, so I can't see holding Spencer for one actor who's likely not coming back.

 

Or maybe it will be a hey we want to bring Spencer back. NAC do you want to return and then if he saya no, GH will recast

I wonder if the new HW's are upset the cast is so big

GH still gets better numbers than The View, The Talk & GMA3  and in some demos better than Today Hoda & Jenna

Kirsten talked in that podcast about how she is excited about the scripts, Bradford & Steve Agreed. Kirsten then said during her 19 years at GH, she always went into reading the script and tried to find places t0 stick humor. She also admitted, prior to the new HW's, finding places to stick humor in scripts was difficult.

CVE & DC still had jobs until January then they turned in their Jason return story & got replaced. KE &PM began writing but they had no bible written like most new writers do. They are still ironing stories out. This takes time. Have Faith.

Thats exactly what they did but Sadly GH doesnt do that enough so I get why it felt weird
