After Andrea's death on the show, I have come to the conclusion that other than Rick and Carl that it is hard to predict who is likely to live or die among the main cast. The show has gotten so popular that it will be hard for Kirkman and Gimple to make those decisions about who to kill so we will see.

The fact they killed Andrea who is extremely popular in the comics, the show can go a different route.

It's the true number one show on television. Some of the network shows may have more people (and less and less that is the case), but the purity of the demos has to make this show the most coveted show for advertisers, and there probably are ad rates to match. It's funny HBO and NBC passed on it because it was deemed too violent. Apparently it was too violent for nobody but them.

I am glad that NBC passed on it, the show On Network tv would be like nothing we are seeing now, just a very watered Down version.

I'm just happy that this show has been renewed already. I'm surprised by how much I like it, but I really do.

Sleepy hollow and the following, to me that is a good mix.

Maybe if they brought back Alex Cabot, that would give SVU some life! I miss the courtroom aspect of the show.

I agree. I think from Kirkman and the other producers' perspective, Andrea's actions were understandable, very human, and even heroic. I don't think that they expected so many of the fans to have such negative reactions to her. They clearly did not plan for her to die initially as I suspect they were following the comics in that regard and she was supposed to be Rick's love interest eventually. However, the negativity towards Andrea that they created from a poorly written story made it easier to sacrifice her. I think that this was unfortunate and they should have written back from the brink. Beth could have died at the prison which would have devastated Hershel and Maggie.

i have been thinking about this, i have a feeling this is why Glen Mazzara was let go. how come we didnt see Kirkman on the season finale of TD? Rumors that him and Mazzara butted heads, wouldnt be suprised that Kirkman wanted him out. Kirkman created the comics, this is his baby and i bet he wasnt happy that Andrea was killed off, i bet he wasnt happy on where the show was going.

Yeah, that little guy was a nut with no fix! Very sad for parents who have to deal with something like that.

I do have to say, season 3 finale wasnt good compared to the last two seasons and i know it pissed alot of people off! The show kind of went down hill a little whwn it returned in 2013.

But was is most impressive is the 18 to 49 demos. They broke records again for that at 8.1 million compared to 7.7 back in Feb.

That is where the money comes from! They will be in second after football this year in the demo ratings which is very important!

Andrea did make the wrong decisions, but no one is perfect. We all make dumb decisions sometimes and hers led to her death.

But what I tell people, put urself in their shoes. If the zombie plague happened tommorow, we all would be screwed and I still think after watching zombie movies and shows, yep still screwed! We has humans freak out about everything! Look at hurricane Sandy and the massive snowstorms we got this year, people were doing just stupid things!

You have to give te show big props on how it handles what humans really would do under these kind of situations!

So Chad and the guy who played Allen helped come up with the reason for the tension. No wonder that all seemed so rushed and weird - they had to come up with it on the fly.
