I think the only one that will be fired is Alexis. She ws lucky to even be brought back. I think Lydia's audition for season 9 is working and if she wants back, I think Andy will bring her especially with the potential of a feud with Heather to play out. Plus she adds dynamics to the women vs Gretchen/Slade, she adds a new element as she doesn't have that long tired history that Vicki/Tamara do. Lauri was clearly fighting for a spot back and Andy orchestrated her storyline to usher her back in. I think she'll take it now. Season 9 will defiantly be, Vicki, Tamra, Gretchen, Heather, Lydia and Lauri. I can honestly say each woman has something to offer which seems rare these days bc theres always 1 or 2 or even more that clearly need to be dropped (I guess Alexis counts). Im not sure If they will want to go with another 7 women cast after scaling back on Miami. Bringing on 1 or 2 friends could help switch things up

I wonder if your opinion of Karent will change by the end of the season bc I HATED her early on and the show had me rooting for her by the end. She really isnt a bad person and she looks tame in comparison to some of the ugliness displayed by the other women. It was funny how she had the makings of being this great reality show villian but morphed into an antiheroine of sorts. Very soapy indeed. OC I find it uneasy watching Tamra and Gretchen. Its too bad Tamra turned on her. I think Gretchen genuinely trusted her and they seemed like they were in a good place and had moved on. I dont think Tamra ever really trusted her and was waiting for Gretchen to slip up so she could be vindicated about how she originally felt. i cant believe we are back to Gretchen, J and her fiance. This was like so 5 years ago. Can we move on already? With all that said, Gretchen cheated; she was in a relationship with that guy and after all these years, she IS still lying about it. ETA: I liked Donn when he was on the show and personally thought he was too good for Vicki but he lost points with me. If there money and assetts are settled then why does he need alimony from her? Its a double standard for sure but I dont like men going after women for spousal support. Just grant her the divorce and make a clean break so you both can move on. She was foolish to not take on the spot of friend of the housewife last season. She'd still be in the mix and with enough fanfare, she'd likely be back as a full wife this season. Plus that would have been her last attempt at securing a spot and I know she would have continued on with her feud with LuAnn, which was actually interesting. She shouldn't have been insulted by the downgrade offer bc Camille from BH and Alexa from Miami showed us that you can be a friend and still be very involved with a lot of airtime. I mean those girls went to most of the social events, got talking heads, went on the vacations, etc... The only change was that they weren't featured in the opening and we didn't see as much of their personal lives away from the ladies. Alexa had her own storyline with her feud with Karent and pretty much led the charge against her. Alex really shouldn't have declined Bravo's offer
