  1. After watching today's episode, I don't like how Dante came down on Gio for Rocco drinking. It is so contrived to have this sudden conflict just as the reveal of Gio's paternity is about to be revealed. It's just sloppy and lazy writing IMO.
  2. I don't think Maurice Johnson is a terrible actor, but I do think there was room for improvement. My hope is that Keith D. Robinson hits the ground running and truly elevates the role of Ted. A lot of the actors on BTG are new to daytime soaps and inevitably there is definitely a learning curve. Some are acclimating faster than others and MJ was one of those that was playing catch up. I do wish him the best, though. I truly do love this cast and only want them to succeed and entertain us.
  3. Wow, that really sucks, especially because those were some of BTG best episodes. And sadly, we have the same preemtions this week 😢😢😢
  4. Today, was a fantastic episode. I loved everything about it, including Anita singing, Amazing Grace. I love the family dynamic of the Dupree's so much. They remind me of my own family at times. Martin & Smitty have come leaps and bounds from where they started. I genuinely felt a connection between them and I can't wait to watch it deepen. Dana/Leslie/Sherry/Ana is a piece of work. Her speech at the Dupree's about her "concern" for Eva and then locking her out of their apartment??? She is pure evil, but I love it. I can't wait to see where the Eva/Kat story goes. There's so much potential there. As for Ted, I need to see Keith Robinson in the role before giving my true critique of Maurice Johnson.
  5. Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped, hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
  6. Personally, I'm thrilled she's leaving. I can't stand the character of Summer. I just find it amazing Y&R can't write for Noah or Summer (the next generation) properly and now both characters are off the canvas.
  7. BTG is a breathe of fresh air, finding it's way. There are so many things the show is doing well, really establishing the Dupree's as the premiere family and their importance. The writing is definitely more contemporary, especially the script writers. The cast is pretty big and some of the recurring actors are outshining some of the contract players. I can't wait for the Anniversary party this week!
  8. It is absolutely shocking to me that B&B is doing as well as it is in the ratings. Yes, I still watch daily but these numbers are so much better than they should be IMO. BTG, is still new and their ratings aren't terrible but I want them higher. The promotional push needs to continue full throttle to keep the show in people's minds. GH, these ratings are embarrassing and if ABC doesn't wake up soon, the ratings will drop even further. My fear is they've alienated too many fans to get them back. ABC's lineup is in shambles. Y&R also needs a revamp. JG needs to go and if B&B stays ahead of them, I think JG will be gone sooner than later.
  9. BTG is definitely holding it's own. I'm hoping May sweeps will be fire and the ratings jump up and stay up.
  10. 🔥🔥🔥 I want Dr. Flannery back STAT!
  11. I really enjoyed this week's episodes. Obviously, I'm a super big fan of the show and will indulge them to a certain degree. But having said that, they are definitely still settling in and they are having far less growing pains than some of the other soap launches. I am going sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Also, Brandon Claybon is finally more comfortable as Martin and I saw more chemistry between him and Mike Manning. Overall, I really like this cast.
  12. While I'm thrilled we're not losing another daytime drama but B&B is in the worst shape it's ever been. Having watched from the beginning, it's almost embarrassing to say I'm a fan. Maybe I'm brainwashed and don't realize it 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️
  13. I'm still encouraged by BTG ratings, despite, the small drops. The show is still getting it's proverbial sea legs. CBS has to be okay with the numbers at this point.
  14. I think the numbers for BTG are very encouraging. Of course, I want them higher but I believe that will happen over time. CBS definitely pays closer attention to the 25-54 demo and it's doing well there so far. I consider BTG to be a success.
  15. I never want Ridge & Brooke back together. Things have gone past the point of no return between them and hopefully this breakup is the final nail in their coffin. I am hoping this remote will bring Thomas back and possibly sending some of the younger set like Will, Luna, Electra, and Remy. But I am sure it will include the usual suspects but who knows??? 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️
  16. "I concur" 😉😉😉 I'm making fun of Tomas LOL
  17. The "Heather Tom" episode was actually really well done. I still despise Steffy & Taylor but it was a cute Mother/Daughter bonding moment. I really wanted Hope to slap Brooke and I was kind of disappointed they hugged it out, but it was definitely a very watchable episode.
  18. OMG, me too 😂😂😂 I even have a little dance I do when it's on.
  19. We've finished another week of BTG and of course it did not disappoint. It is evident this show has been very well thought out and planned. MVJ has assembled a phenomenal team and I congratulate them all on their efforts. As for my favorite characters so far, I love Nicole, Anita, Vernon, Dani, Dana, Kat, Bill, Andre, Smitty, Eva, Naomi, Jacob, Chelsea, Vanessa, Ashley, Hayley, Ted, Derek, Martin, and Tomas. All of the characters have potential and I don't hate any of them, but someone had to be last 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ It was another A- week for me. I can't wait until the latest ratings are posted. I want this show around for a very long time.
  20. I know I sound like a broken record, but, I truly love this show. Everyday is a journey of discovering something new about each character. I think Tamara Tunie and Clifton Davis are simply excellent. They were perfectly cast in their respective roles. Brandon Claybon did his best work in today's episode. He seemed less robotic and more natural. I can't wait to find out his secret and why Smitty married him to begin with. And our girl, Dani. She is totally going to have a huge meltdown and I can't wait to see it. The Bill & Naomi showdown is going to be awesome. Tomorrow can't come soon enough.
  21. I loved today's episode. It was a very character driven episode to me. Tamara Tunie!!! She is amazing and I loved her rap LOL Tomas, is definitely improving and I like him with Kat. Eva was too funny and definitely a scene stealer today. I hope we get to meet Darlene and Luke and see more of Elon and the Hawthorne's. I'm so glad this show exist!!!
  22. Maurice Johnson is being a true gentleman and professional up to this point. He has said nothing negative about the show publicly and he's been a cheerleader for BTG with the fans. I hope whatever announcement he makes is for another acting role. I do wish him the best.
  23. BTG is back tomorrow, yay!!! 🥳🥳🥳 I watched the 3 episodes on Pluto tonight and realized I genuinely missed the show.
