    ANOTHER CUT HAS STRIKED LIS...JOHN ANISTON FIRED!

    As fans have probably already noticed over the past couple of weeks, John Aniston(Victor) has exited "Life in Salem". He exited after his character was killed by his former henchwoman Suga, and after a heartbreaking reunion in the hospital with his love Celeste...but he didn't die before he married Vivian Alamain one last time! Aniston isn't the first cut from LIS...in the past three months, many vets AND newcomers have been axed in the form of Stephen Nichols, Mary Beth Evans, Philece Sampler, Brent Weber, Charles Shaughnessy, Patsy Pease, Kristina Wagner, Dan Gauthier, Julie Pinson, Julianne Morris, Janet Zarish, Sarah Buxton, Ben Masters, Thaao Penghlis, and LeAnn Hunley(though Penghlis pops up as Andre DiMera from time to time). And even in the months before that, Deidre Hall, Jason Brooks, and Joe Mascolo were all fired.

    "This past year has been a whirlwhind for LIS...alot of upheaval...but in the end, I think its for the best for the show, and some of those people could be back someday. As for Victor, I've loved writing for him for three years...but in the end, I think that there wasn't much left to be done with him...and more importantly, I felt that his death would send alot more possibilities for MANY MANY characters in the LIS cast...because alot of them were connected to Victor in some way, and his death is a way to start off new stories...but I will miss writing for Victor...he was a huge presence on LIS, always." Tara Smith said

    Also, Robin Strasser(Dorian Lord) is out as well. She exited shortly after Victor's funeral, when she left Salem to head back to Llanview. "I really enjoyed having Dorian on LIS...she played a big role in some stories...and she wrapped up that OLTL crossover that started three years ago...but it was simply her time to go." Tara said

    Both have already last aired, HOWEVER, there are fast growing rumors that while a few more minor cuts may be on the way, we'll be seeing some returns over the next couple months....but the show issued no comment.However, there was one return on the four-hundreth episode: Farah Fath has reprised her role of Mimi Lockhart! Fath used to be a contract player on the soap until late 2006, when Jan and Cassie framed her for pushing Cassie out a window, and she was carted off to prison...but now Alexis has searched her out, and could Jan and Cassie FINALLY be exposed?!

    Celeste: This was murder....someone wanted Shawn Douglas dead.

    Abe(looking around): So, if this was a murder, we have over half of our suspects in this room.

    Then, finally, a woman must take care of another not to risk her being discovered *clips of Margaret holding a gun and pointing it at Nikki inside the Kiriakis Mansion*

    Margaret: Your the only one who knows who I am and could tell Llanview I'm alive.....so I guess you'll have to die!

    A man has a lost child...

    Tony(to Anna): My child is out there some where and I need to find it!

    Stefano(watching Tony from a distance): You will never find your child Tony, for I am the only one alive who knows where it is!

    And, could a Christmas miracle save a man from going to death row?

    Abe (in a cell, taloking to Sami): Sami, do you have any evidence that could free me?!

    *Sami stands silent, wondering what to do*

    Another man tries to find the culprit of the crime...but will it cost him his life?

    John (standing at the window where Cassie was pushed out of): There is no way Mimi could have done this....

    Jan(hidden inside a door with a gun aimed at him): I won't go to jail....don't make me shoot you John....

    And, finally, on Christmas Eve a woman arrives in Salem

    *a car pulls up, a man gets out of the drivers seat and opens the back door of the car*

    This ocming week is going to be a big week for Austin and Carrie fans, it will be the start ot their reunitation from what the writer has told us and it will not only be a week for A/C fans but big things with Abby and Lilly will happen this week.     Welcome, everyone, to my new fanfic/blog: One Life At A Time, a fic based on the ABC soap opera "One Life to Live"....people also mainly know me as the Creator/Head Writer/Executive Producer of "Life in Salem", a fic based on the NBC soap "Days of Our Lives"....however, I am not particularly enjoying OLTL right now, and have been wanting to take a stab at writing it for ages...and now that it seems you can have more than one blog on SON, I decided now would be the perfect time!

    "This is, in itself, an experiment...I want to see if I can correctly write OLTL, and if I can handle more than one fic at once...this fic shall pick up RIGHT after yesterday's episode, NOT today's episode, and right now, I'm not sure how regularly it will air....it will be a slow process, trying to get it off the ground, but I think I can do it, or at least try....again, this may not be successful, but I am very very willing to try and see how much I can handle." Tara Smith explained

    Expect more information about the show to be released soon....and the first episode to premiere VERY soon...maybe even today!

    Who IS John Black?

    Readers were shocked on Friday when John revealed he was really Roman Brady! Or is he? John has a tendency to find out he is someone different from what he was and then finds out that was a lie and finds out he is a totally different person. Well, readers can rest assured, that is finally coming to an end. The headwriter tells us that John is completely and entirely Roman.... that answers one big question that has been asked for years and years and years "Who is John Black?" but it leaves so many little questions, such as "Why did he thinks he was other people?" or "Then who on Earth is the guy we thought was Roman?!" but the headwriter reassures us that all of these questions will be answered in due time.

    "There were tons of reasons why I made him into Roman. One reason is that it would finally provide closure on who John is, and this twenty year mystery can FINALLY be put to rest. Another reason is that alot of viewers never felt that Josh Taylor is Roman, just because alot liked Wayne and Drake better as Roman, another reason that really impacted on this is that Roman wasn't Josh's first role on Days, he also played back in the seventies and eighties Chris Kostichek, and spent ALOT of time playing the character, therefore for people who have been watching for a long time have it sticked in their heads that Josh is Chris. I am one of those people. It would also explain why Marlena never had the love for Faux Roman that she had for John, because he is the first and only love of her life, Roman. The last reason is that it would just flat out make the most sense for John to be Roman than any of these other people he has been like Forrest Alamain, or Daphne DiMera's son! Roman was the identity that,in my opinion, made the most sense for John, the others are really far out, even for a soap." the headwriter told us when we asked him about this whole mess

    Now, as for Josh's Roman, here is what he said about that:

    "Well, this is one storyline I am going to have fun writing." laughs the writer "Most would expect me with all my comments about Josh being Chris for this faux Roman to turn out to be Chris! Well, as much as I would like that to happen, it would be the easy and obvious route, so I do not want to go that route. I however can say Chris will probably be popping around Salem a little bit, but I will save that tid bit for a later." he winks "Josh has a big storyline a head of him, I can say that. First this FauxRoman will have to deal with the fact that the people he knew as his family were not his family, the children that he thought were his are not, he was also living a complete lie for twelve whole years. And he also will have to go through the torture of not knowing his true identity, he even might have kids and a wife out there waiting for him, and a family as well. The poor mans life has been turned upside down...... and now he has to turn it back up. But luckily he will have a NEW woman to comfort him through all of this.... one no one EVER expected!!!"

    And then the final question we asked, how will this effect Roman and his WHOLE family?

    "He will be shocked and deveastated, but it will probably not have as big as an effect on him as it will faux Roman, because he has been through this swift identity change before, and he is close to the Brady family, and in a way he has always been an honorary member of their family. But trust me, things won't be easy as pie for him. He will have some major changes amongst other things to deal with. As for his family.... the Brady's will be trying to get over the fact that the man they have thought was their son for over a decade was really not their son, and try to accept John into their family as Roman. Then of course there is the Shelle factor.... and that they had a daughter together!!!! Well, do not worry, I have an explanation for that as well.... but this will cause alot of trouble for Shelle in the beginning. And there is Brady, on a side note, Brady's name is in a way now "Brady Brady" but we will fix that, anyways he will have some adjusting to do as well, because he will have to get to know a whole new family as his own, this was one reason we brought Brady back, so he could be here for this. Then there are the four other children of Roman that John didn't even know were his! Sami, Eric, Rex, and Cassie. Sami is going to be probably the biggest problem, just because of her hatred for John she has had for years.... little did she know he was her father. This will be part of getting Lumi back together as Lucas comforts Sami over all of this, and she will slowly at last grow up and accept John, but that will be a while because currently we are trying to finish off growing Sami up, and this is Sami, so we have to take baby steps. Eric will have a hard time to, and will pretty much neglect his whole family during this ordeal, and Nicole will be there for him with open arms.... but that is a different story. Rex will have just lost a woman who he realized was his true love, Mimi, and now he was actually JUST warming up to faux Roman, and now this. He will of course have a hard time, but not like Sami and Eric, however this will heavily impact on his life.... and push him into the arms of a hooker! Then last, but not least, there is Cassie, she was closer to faux Roman than Rex was, but not like Sami and Eric were, she will have a hard time accepting the real Roman, John, and will be very fisty during this storyline! Marlena will be in shock as well, and will stay with John, and she is crucial to this storyline, she will be with John every step of the way as he slowly gets closer to accepting he is really Roman Brady!" the headwriter told us

    This is all he would say, so you must be sure to stay tuned to "Life in Salem" during this fantastic storyline!!!!

    WHO WILL LEAVE??????

    A CASTING BLOOD BATH STRIKES LIFE IN SALEM!!!!!!! WHO WILL BE ITS VICTIMS?!!!!!?

    As previously mentioned in the winter previews, there are many cuts coming for Life in Salem. "It's not going to be a serial killer storyline...but it will be like one! There will be huge casting decisions, and I have to say that some fan faves will be fired from Life in Salem...." the headwriter says "The cast is just too big...and with it growing some must be cut."

    No casting cuts have bene revealed yet.....so everyone is wondering this:

    Who will be cut?

    There is also no confirmation of how many people will be cut, but sources say it will be AT LEAST half the cast. Perhaps even more. Also, many contracts end this winter, and rumours are most of them will not be renewed.

    Time will tell who will be cut! So stay tuned to Life in Salem!

    WINTER PREVIEWS!

    WINTER PREVIEWS!

    "November Sweeps was a great success," comments Life in Salem's writer "But the winter will be even better!"

    Here are some things readers can expect to see this winter....

    John/Marlena: Well, the shocker in November was that John is really Roman Brady! John seems to have already accepted this....but has he really? Mabye he has, but mabye he hasn't. Marlena will be helping him along the way as he deals with his new family, his old ones, and others. They will be front and center during sweeps, John will also have to deal with the DiMera's as well. So he will have his hands full with all of this. As for Marlena, she will have quite a bit on her plate to. Because first of all Kristen's back! Meaning trouble for both John and Marlena! Then of course Sam is also at large....Marlena will be trying to get Sam;s sanity back together, and it could or could not work. Sam's going to have her own story....but we can't go into that. And, to make things even more complicated for Marlena, Hattie's back! Hattie was recently revealed to be the mystery person that saved Marlena from Alex and Stefano, but will she make Marlena repay her?

    Lucas/Sami/EJ: This story is going to slowly grow during the winter, Lumi will return, but they will not reunite just yet. The main focus of this storyline during winter will be Sami continue to mature.It will be taken gradually, and Lucas will be right there to guide her....but so will EJ! EJ is a DiMera, but how? This will be revealed sometime during winter. And sources say he is not Elvis Jr. or Benjy!

    Lilly/Max/Erin: This triangle has just begun and will grow during the beginning of November! SParks are flying between Erin and Max as readers can easily tell! Lilly is also as seen slowly losing her sanity, and she has a strange secret. The secret will be revealed as Abby will finally remember and expose her along with some help. Lilly isn't the only problem here though.... there is another that will blossom into a new storyline!

    Faux Roman: He will have a NEW love interest this winter. It's not Hattie, it's not Marlena, and it's not Anna! He will also be searching for his actual identity during winter....but we're notgoing into detail!

    Philip/Belle/Shawn/Jan: This story has turned into chaos! First of all, Belle and Shawn are cousins! Meaning Claire is a child of cousins! But the headwriter tells us he will fix that problem. And, Philip has kidnapped Belle and Claire! Some of winter will be Shawn searching for them, but with the help of Victor, Philip will keep evading them until eventually Belle and Claire are found. Philip is intent on keeping his family....but how far will he go before he is stopped? Then we have Jan, she will bond with Shawn, but after a while, she will have to move on from him. "I must say, this storyline will probably conclude during Winter, and I can say at least one or two of the people in this quad should be gone by Winter's end." the headwriter told us

    Caroline/Victor/Nikki/Viki/Clint: This storyline did not kick off in November like expected... but it does not need it's not happening! Caroline will be busy with this John drama....but will bond with Victor along the way. It has been revealed Nikki and Victor had a child together....which will not fair well at all with anyone! Their child will eventually be brought on, but probably not during Winter, but it could happen. Viki will finally be back and Clint (Jerry Ver Dorn) will have a short stint as he and Viki finally end things. One question remains: Will Viki stick around Salem and if so will she get in a relationship with Victor?

    Steve/Kayla: They will continue their adventures in Llanview for the beginning of November and finally figure out who faked Steve's death! It will be shocking and cause rifts between certain people....eventually they will leave Llanview and head back to Salem. Steve will probably get his memory back during winter sometime, and he and Kayla will reunite....but Steve will remember something no one knows! And it could destroy him and Kayla's marriage forever! And, rumours are swirling Benjy Hawk DiMera will be back.

    Greta/Eric/Nicole: This triangle will go on for most of Winter... Greta will gradually get to where she can forgive Eric for what happened years ago between him and Nicole. Meanwhile Eric will be comforting Nicole over losing Austin, but also he bonds with Greta. Who will Eric end up getting together with? Time will tell.

    Bo/Hope/Megan:: Bo and Hope will reunite as always, and will give birth to their baby during winter! But Megan will be after Bo, and will take very, very drastic measures to get him that could split Bo and Hope apart all over again!

    Abe/Lexie: Tek's murder trial/investigation will continue but not for long! We cannot go into much detail but eventually Lexie will be ousted which transforms her into a true DiMera.

    Rex/Cassie/Willow: Willow and Rex will grow very close this winter that could lead to danger for Rex! Willow's going to be trouble for the whole town! Cassie will be very upset at Rex's new women, even after she managed to get rid of Mimi! But Cassie will get distracted when she meets a new man!

    Kate/Vivian: Kate's story has finally begun! Her story begun during November Sweeps, readers just didn't know. The rivalry between her and Vivian is being re energized and they will not both be after Victor, but they will be rival in businesses! Vivian still loves Victor, but that won't be touched for a bit. The main focus will be on the buisness rivalry! May the best woman and business win!

    Cast Cuts: Rumours are that half of the cast is going to be gone by winters end....but who will leave? This has fans in an worry as ANYONE could recieve their pink slip!

    Other: Forrest Alamain, Kristen Blake and possibly other roles played by Eileen Davidson, an unknown man, Nicholas and Lawerence Alamain will all be back this winter! Each playing major roles in new storylines! Chelsea and Jeremy are back and stories will soon begin! Rumours are swirling that Billie is leaving but the headwriter says absolutely not and the story planned for her is still on! She will have a new man in store! Tony's back and has a big story planned with Anna and the huge secret we have been hinting at for months will FINALLY be revealed! Kim will still be backburner....however rumours are amuck that Shane's coming back!
