  1. Right. Josh "leaning more into the writing side of his duties" isn't what I was hoping for.
  2. ITA. It seems they named JR Damien Kane, then when Billy Flynn signed on they needed to pick a character for him to play, so they gave themselves the great idea to have BF be Cane freaking Ashby. I still remember BF asking fans to be kind when it they found out who he would be playing. I can't believe they thought Ashby was a good idea.
  3. The actor said he's known since May. That explains his public rant. I knew he was doomed once he had posted that.
  4. I'd like to thank you all for your synopsis on how this went down with AL/Summer's exit. I'm still pissed because I liked her.
  5. I just finished this epi as well. Tbf about Billy, he went to the club to work out in the gym when Phyllis made him sit and talk (and he fired her). Billy then went downstairs to work out, then came back up to sit at the bar. Just sayin', that's why he came back. And what is Tess doing sitting at the coffee shop all the time now? First she was doing a crossword puzzle. Next time she told Daniel she was scratching out some lyrics to a new song or some such. Why isn't she at home with her freaking daughter? Or at work at Society? Really, the coffee shop for Tess too?
  6. Many times, it's power lines that start blowing in the high winds (the Santa Ana winds), then they arc or have a tree fall on them and ignite brush or whatever. My hubs worked for Southern California Edison for decades and they still call him to warn of power turn-offs. His phone was ringing off the hook these past couple of days. Low humidity, dryness of the land and one spark can be picked up by these winds and then there's nothing they can do to put out the raging wind-driven fires. Add to that they had no air support yesterday because they couldn't put units in the air. My son down there is housing their friends and their cat because they were evacuated from the Hollywood hills with tonight's new fire. At least they have a few water-dropping copters in the air tonight.
  7. Maybe that's why her performance is falling flat, because he might be alive (not that she knows it yet). But when you find out someone has just died, someone you had an intimate relationship with, I find it unrealistic that she was already going into her calm "thank you for loving me" spiel, while sitting on Dead Dex's hospital bed. There should have been more freaking out, blubbering, hollering, etc. Her initial attempt at grief was too resigned (to me). Edit: I am sitting here in shock watching my beloved southern California burning to the ground in a couple of areas. I lived down there for over 30 years, and those Santa Ana winds have never been a joke. The rest of the country can't understand what those winds are like and now look what they have done. It's a horrible perfect storm of spark, wind, low humidity, and once they get going, there's no stopping them. Praying for those communities that have been decimated tonight. Then I thought of the Michael burning storyline...
  8. As already mentioned by others, Joss' grief has fallen so flat for me. From the moment she sat at Dex's bedside when he had just died, then went on to give a monologue saying, "Thank you (pause) for loving me" (or whatever that blather was), and now to packing up his apartment, I'm just not feeling Eden anymore. I'm glad Dex is gone and I'll be even more glad when they move Josslyn on from this crap storyline with such crap dialogue.
  9. Love it! And I loved that the opening scene was of a roaring fire in the Windemere fireplace.
  10. Late to this party, but we all know Ava has always had Jerome money. This Cassidine divorce settlement money would have only been gravy. I hate it when they make Ava meek and groveling.
  11. OT: Is that Joe Burrow in your pic? I just watched them win against the Steelers. Keep hope alive, Joey Burrow!
  12. The second that Mansi took the role, I knew she'd be front and center for all eternity.
  13. I only see them needing a Jax when Joss decides to get married or something. Funny how she never speaks of her father. LOL
  14. Sharon's hypnosis scenes were worse than a junior high school play. Sharon, Nick and Michael are the new Scooby Doo Gang. rme
  15. This show today (US) was the most boring, sappy bunch of nonsense dialogue I have ever heard. What a failure of a filler show. Kyle/Clair ("I'd like to be your boyfriend". Please. RME) Nikki/Victoria, Tracy/Jack, and wtf with Ester and Diane? An entire episode of FF.
