  1. I think that's just realistic. People who struggle with student loans are also some of the most vulnerable to inflation. I worry about people who have huge rent bills. How are they going to feed their kids when their wages are garnished and SNAP is harder to get? Maybe less disposable income in the economy will bring down inflation rates along with interest rates. We'll find out soon enough. I do wonder what's going to happen on the small business front. Are we all going to have to bring along cards identifying our sexuality, gender, race, religion and hope we are among the group to be served at any given establishment? I'm exaggerating, but this decision was so stupid and unnecessary.
  2. What a mess. One bad decision after the next. I do feel sorry for younger people drowning in debt, but these other decisions seem so much worse and harder to fix.
  3. If the Democrats are the ones to tank the debt ceiling negotiations it will be an epic self sabotage. The Republicans are so good at evading responsibility this is going to land right on Biden. It's not pedestrian at a time like this. High inflation with some nice corporate greed mixed in is worrisome. This is the first time in many years that I hear the people around me switching brands or changing their food buying habits. Biden is right that the cost of energy and food is important to people. It's another area where Biden could take the blame unfairly. I want to believe that people are too smart to hold these issues against democrats, but I don't. We are surrounded by selfish idiots as 2016 proved.
  4. It makes me sad that he is so boring. The actor is attractive in my opinion, but there isn't any heat or complexity there. He and Joss together just put me to sleep.
  5. Yes!! I admit I don't know this member of the house, but I officially love her. Preach it!
  6. I can't believe it either. Right after SE died with what also felt like no warning. I'm glad we got to see her a lot during the lead up to the nurses ball, but damn it all. 70 just feels too young to die these days. I don't care if that's an illusion, it just pisses me off and makes me sad.
  7. I was just thinking that the other day. I enjoy the touch of humor the actor brings to the role. He goes on and on about family, but the look of disgust on his face when Ace had colic was too funny. I hope they don't kill Victor. He can come back and cause more trouble if GH is around in 5 years.
  8. I can't believe the 87 year old Dali Lama is a pervert. This is the type of thing that makes me feel humans are just a worthless species. This episode has reminded me that when this guy dies it's really going to stir up some trouble with China. Apparently they want to install a puppet as the next Dali Lama.
