Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
Well, it’s generally thought that he buried their bodies at Mill Lane and we did see Andy’s sneaker bobbing up on the surface of the water but...I don’t know. I don’t 100% rule them out pulling out a twist like having him still be alive.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I think 6-8 months down the line Joseph and Debbie will be back together and he’ll hand her an ultimatum: him or Charity. He’ll demand that she and Sarah cut off all contact with her. She’ll choose him and Home Farm. A few months later Charity will need a graft/transplant from perfect match Debbie and then Debbie will be on the horns of a dilemma. Will she let her mother die?

Bracknell was on Lorraine Kelly’s morning show last week and looked terrific. That was a lovely thing to see. Of course she’s being realistic and knows she can become very ill very quickly but she’s certainly a fighter.

So Andy actually still alive isn’t an option?
-
Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Yep, they did it. Tom IS Joseph Tate.

Well, it’s looking more and more likely now that Lachlan will indeed go postal and murder at least one member of his family.

I read somewhere that there’s a further twist to the Emma story. Maybe someone on the ground actually finished her off? And it was someone who Emma didn’t want it to be? I’d really like it to be Kasim but I know it would be highly unlikely.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Good God, this week was agony to get through between Alfie's demise and the Nativity. Yikes. Awful. And I really do love Roxy Shahibi but Leyla needs to just GO, already. I suppose once her maternity leave is completed she'll be straight back, meaning onscreen end of spring/early summer?

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
Isn’t it possible he can return to the show in a year once his community order is completed? Although I guess being put on the sex offenders’ register must really put the kibosh on future acting opportunities. Back to what’s happening onscreen: a lot of Mary is NOT a good thing. This current storyline where she’s being accused of harming her grandson is quite intolerable.

I didn’t have the opportunity to ask her that, Amy, sorry!

The Doctors Discussion Thread
FINALLY binged this past weekend and saw the one scene my dear departed friend Angela Thornton had with Elizabeth Hubbard. They were to become lifelong friends and Hubbard was even at Angela's bedside when she died a few years ago. I hope to finally catch a scene with Geraldine Court (another dear departed friend) and Anna Stuart because THEY became lifelong friends because of the show. I actually ran into Anna here in NYC a few weeks ago. She was with her husband James Cromwell. She still looks absolutely beautiful. We talked about Geri, of course. What an amazing thing it is to have these episodes re-aired.

I think it’s becoming clearer and clearer now that Tom really is Joseph Tate.

I don’t think they do.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
OK, so why is Michelle, who went to university and spent the better part of the past twenty years in academia, still using the word “ain’t”? It’s ridiculous. Don’t give me any of that “she’s just trying to fit in” garbage.I was hoping that Kathy would elaborate on “the coast” by saying she’d be staying for a bit with her sister Stephanie in, where was it, Devon or Cornwall? She hasn’t mentioned her since 1985 so I’m a tad shaky on which seaside hamlet it was. As for Donna Ludlow it’s quite possible Ben already knows about her. And it was silly of Ben to ask if Michelle and Sharon knew about JWB when there was a court case and I think Michelle was there for all of it.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I agree, Carl, it was AWFUL. And it wasn’t even brought up that the reason Tom was most likely obsessed with Michelle was because she physically resembled his wife very closely. If she had died and he was still in grief over that, OK. It’s understandable that he thought he’d found a replacement in Michelle. But then it turned out they were divorced and she was living with their kids in another city! So, so bad.

Having a pic of Wilmott-Brown in the Beale family photo album must rank right up there as one of the most stupid things EE has ever done, alongside Michelle’s son Mark speaking with a Surrey accent despite having lived his entire life in Florida.

I’m not convinced Jane is gone for good. After the Max/Weyland stuff wraps she’ll have to be back for the aftermath. Maybe she’ll end up “saving” Ian if Max tries to off him.

That’s exactly what I think they will be doing.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Good Gawd, the scenes tonight with Chas and Paddy were excruciating. Also the ones with Lawrence and Robert. John Bowe must be embarrassed at having to play them. I think one reason that Tom might be Joseph is that they’ve taken great care to keep Charity from seeing him so far (she was his stepmother, after all).

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Aaron didn’t arrive back in the village until a day after Chas, though, right? I think she’s dying. I see no other reason why she’d be so “forceful” with Paddy. I’m liking the speculation that Tom is actually Joseph Tate.

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
After seeing that scene in Roy’s between Shona and Nicola I wondered if it’s possible that they are actually fraternal twins. Annabel could have given Shona away and kept Nicola. They do appear to be the same age. I did like Rosie saying to Pat “I want to catch up on the season finale of SVU” considering that series is about sex crimes and Pat has no doubt committed them. Very sad about Bruno Langley being fired. I’ll really miss Todd. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/4789263/coronation-street-star-bruno-langley-fired-sexual-assault-claims/

She got through the surgery. I think the tumor will end up being benign and she’ll be fine.

Daz is such a godawful character. The sooner they get rid of him the better. Maybe he could kidnap Amelia and go on the run forever?

It’s funny to me that Woodyatt never looked better than during 2005-2007. He almost looked rugged.

Hollyoaks: Discussion Thread
Britbox has Emmerdale, EastEnders and Coronation Street. I think Hulu is pulling Coronation Street soon and probably Hollyoaks, too.
