Ashley broke my heart with John. Wonderful work from Brenda Epperson.

You can see where they'd tailored the writing for Jack and Ashley due to the recasts. Eileen's Ashley would have stomped Jack into the ground for blaming John's 50th heart attack on her.

Victor seems to genuinely care so deeply about Cassandra. Yet this isn't some true love forever situation. Very refreshing. In recent years women are just hookups or property to Victor.

I see that Bill Bell was reusing his "I was raped in the park" story for Nan's lie to Doug Wert. Too bad they didn't have Chris Brooks on to talk to her about it.

I didn't realize Marguerite Ray got to play Mamie as secretly longing for John, like Veronica Redd has. It's interesting yet I still can't see her as the Mamie getting into all those verbal confrontations with Jill.....though I guess she got to do some with Brenda's Jill from what I heard.

The writing is definitely starting to show Jack's "weeping" side people always seem to get annoyed at with PB's Jack.....I love Brenda's warmth and tenderness but I do wonder how Eileen would play these scenes, you are right about her getting in Jack's face about him blaming her for John's attack.

I wonder if Victor and Cassandra as a married couple would have worked in the long run.....probably not, but I always like how Cassandra was independent and Victor always seemed to take that trait seriously.....I wonder if it would take Paul or somebody bringing up Cassandra's name to knock some much needed sense into him now.....I doubt it and Victor would probably just remember her as the "conniving gold-digger" who got Paul framed for murder.....

FINALLY, I am happy to say I have the first un-released episode ready to share!....enjoy!

o/t but is anyone else having a problem with youtube subscriptions? I used to be able to scroll through everything that was uploaded since by last login by clicking more until I got to videos I have already seen. Now it only shows me the newest 30 videos and there's no button for more. It sucks, because one or two prolific uploaders will take up the 30 slots easily and then I could miss some videos.

I third on that happening to me too, Youtube has totally screwed itself over....but we know that by now....

So there is no explanation for the twins just leaving school?.....A shame about Ethan and Danny, and it's too bad that their relationship will probably not be one of the sole focus of the season....

Derek/Hoechlin's screentime is diminishing more each episode....

Onwards to 1990!

He should just follow my example and not mention Y&R in the tittles........Some of his earlier Y&R videos just seemed to have quotes taken from the clip, like the one that was called "You Sorry Bitch" where Jill dumped the Sundae on Leanna.

I was finally able to watch that episode this time! One of the best classic Christmas episodes I've seen! I love how they really beefed up their production by including a Homeless Shelter and actually showing them at Mass with the children's Choir, it was beautiful!

Those scenes with Victor Nikki and Victoria were filled with such tenderness, and quiet pain, I love the actress who played the child Victoria, I notice she seems to really bring out the best of Eric Braeden and MTS. I find it hard to believe that even Victor would let whatever tension is going on in his life prevent him from enjoying and wanting to spend time with his family for Christmas.....I know we are all tired of saying this but it gets more pathetic how more and more he is written as a "scrooge" now......(no pun intended for when they did that horrible Victor Scrooge episode that one Christmas Eve) I loved seeing them at Church.

It's hard to tell if the melancholy background music (for example the ones they play during the Newman Family scene) that they play throughout the episode is suppose to be darker sounding christmas tunes.....I noticed that 80's Y&R tried to sound more "modern" compared to how "old school" the early 90's did, I wonder if it's because Wesley Kenney wanted the music to sound like that and when he left Bill told Ed to combined the modern with the classic etc.....

Loved seeing the Abbotts together....Eileen's hair looked nice and a lot like how Brenda usually styled it......I thought she and Steve were already engaged here....I liked how he proposed and she looked so unsure.....

The Katherine/Jill/Nina scenes were hilarious though I have seen them already......Jess is still playing Brenda but I feel like this is when the writing started to shift the Jill/Kay relationship into more of a "frenemy" relationship, though they still hated each other. I always think Brenda's Jill and Katherine were always written as pure hatred, compared to how Jess and Jeanne played it. I wonder if fans were still missing Brenda at this point......Nina is very bitchy here and I find it hard to believe that Cricket put aside what she did to try to take Phillip from her....

Rex being reunited with Gina after it probably taking months for Gina to put the pieces together is the type of story the writers always screw up so badly now.....

That scene with Nathan and Amy in the homeless shelter, with the little boy is really sweet! Though Nathan playing Santa was a little too obvious for my take..... who was that other black guy with Amy? he looks like he was probably on the show for a while at that point.......I sometimes have to wonder if any of those kids are actually actor/actresses that are now really famous now......It's strange that they are all in their early 30's now I bet.....haha

As for SOS, I made a playlist with all his Y&R videos, but obviously you still can't see them .......The writing was on the wall when he started uploading those full episodes mostly from 1998. When I saw that they were getting deleted I knew it wasn't gonna be long......It's a shame because this was his second channel and he was able to keep it up for almost 6 years compared to when he was Tombinorway.....I hope despite everything he comes back, but after all that work I wouldn't blame him. I will make a special point of saving his clips if he does come back (which I will for anyone else who uploads)....I still regret that I didn't get to see most of his videos when he was Tombinorway...........

Without sounding extremely harsh but if canceling the actual show still on the air is the key to making them less anal about uploading classic episodes, then so be it!

There are some good Katherine scenes coming up on the 1990 episodes, mostly from the ones that I never uploaded before......If you are missing her now, you will really miss her when you watch these

A news break during the 6th segment cuts out at least 15 minutes towards the end of this episode.......This is also my last 1989 episode for right now in my collection, so soon I will upload all of 1990 that I...... have Old and new!

The Brittany actress returned several years late as Agnes, a society matron who worked with Sharon and Katherine on a benefit. Pity she wasn't used more.

Really?!.....that's interesting, they should have just had her come back as Brittany and the benefit could have been to honor Cassandra's memory.

There has been speculation for years, mainly because there are pictures of Haynes kissing a guy which may or may not have been his Boyfriend, or just a gay modeling session......Then of course it has been speculated that he and Holland Roden who plays Lydia were a thing and still are.....if he is gay or bi it's obviously his business, but what's sad is that people on twitter have flat out attacked him for not "coming out already".....I'm glad he seems like a genuinely nice guy in real life as opposed to the bad boys he plays, but the blackface thing did creep me out......

I still wish that he could have been Kyle on Y&R. Like I said he looks more like I would picture to be the son/grandson of John and Jack Abbott.......I think I even suggested that maybe they should just make him gay as Kyle and fall in love with Fen, haha.

I guess all writers feel like they need to do what they have to for their egos.....I had forgotten that he strung them along like that with the "Sterek" talk.....Fans just are gonna have to get over it as there are talks anyway that Tyler Hoechlin is leaving the end of this season......Luckily I am more gung-ho for Styles and Lydia hooking up then.

I for one am glad that the season is not gonna be as "Scott Centric" I often wish more characters would get a chance to shine in the spotlight.......

Those scenes were disturbing with Stiles, but I liked it when his dad held him to calm him down......It was a nice moment considering that I always thought Stiles and his dad had more of a "tough-love" type of relationship, like obviously they love each other, but because of Stiles constantly getting himself and his dad in trouble because of having to help Scott, we had mostly "slap-stick" scenes with him yelling at Stiles all the time....

That's sad.....He hasn't even showed up yet this season.

The "Sterek" fan-fiction is so crazy, it's more then I can stomach....It has even been rumored that Jeff Davis doesn't do Stiles and Derek scenes anymore because he got sick of the trillions' of fans begging him to make them a couple......I also get so put off at the things Derek has done to Stiles and so forth.....nothing that funny or giving off the impression it's a sign of secret affection to me....

If there was any male character who I would have maybe tried to angle some sort of gay relationship with Derek, it would have been Jackson who was played by Colton Haynes in Seasons 1 and 2......Those 2 looked like porn stars together and had this weird "inappropriate" chemistry that I never see with "Sterek".....I'm also not saying this because of whether the rumors about Colton Haynes are true or not.

David was with Brenda as there are some clips still out there somewhere I believe.......I don't think it was ever clear if Jill being turned off by David was because of Jess's acting or not.....the following year I know she was completely through with him as I have the episodes to support that (which haven't been released yet)

I liked the Jill and Rex scene too.....Jess will always be one of the best actresses ever on Y&R, but I have to admit as much as I want to enjoy Jill these days, I cannot get through a scene without cringing......too much damage has been done to Jill for me to even believe that Jess could act the way she use to as Jill nearly 25 years ago......it already doesn't help that her hair and wardrobe has been a hot mess for the past 10 years already.

Brittany always strikes me as offbeat casting.....I wonder if Bill could have made her Sheila......or at least write her in a similar matter.

what did you think of the Carl and Mary scenes? I knew Carolyn Conwell was a great actress as meddling Mary, but I haven't seen alot of emotional performances like the one she does here.....I miss her and Jeanne Terribly

I would've thought Danny would've been featured more especially since they paired him with Ethan.. I do remember seeing a video at Comic-Con about Stiles, I know there's a Sterek fanbase

Apparently one time when they interviewed the guy who plays Danny they asked him what it was liked to be apart of the Teen Wolf cast, and he said...."You are gonna have to ask those guys"...... I feel bad that they haven't really made any developments to his character other then that little heart surgery thing they revealed when he was about to have sex with Ethan.....I actually talked about on another board how I wish we knew what type of character Danny really was, other then he being Jackson's gay Buddy now Ethan's boyfriend.......because when you think about it he is just "there".

bleh.....I never got the appeal of the whole "Sterek" saga......I get it, lots of people drool over watching 2 hunks sneer and bicker at each other, but I never get the vibe that Derek secretly likes or respects Stiles....he can't stand him just as much as the loud-mouth coach or the now diseased chem teacher Harris did..........also I just can't picture Hoechlin doing a gay love tale, he always appears as more of a lady's man/wolf, which is why I still have hopes that they will come up with another female character who actually isn't trying to kill Derek this time.....

I have to give credit because Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed and Dylan O'Brien are doing a great job with this "out of control" stuff. Everybody has improved greatly since the first couple seasons.........I can relate to Stiles and the Sleep paralysis because I myself have had a few episodes with that over the years, it is extremely terrifying and you really do feel like you are awake though you are still in your bed.....

haha yeah...........I don't know why but every since I started watching Teen Wolf, I'm sort of embarrassed to say that i developed a slight obsession over wishing half the cast were the sons/daughters of veteran characters on Y&R.....I don't know if it's because they are better actors then the ones we have now or they just look more right ( i'm leaning more towards the second) but I always Just thought Hoechlin had similar eyes to the actor who played Scott Grainger Sr. Peter Barton....I guess it's because I was watching an old episode of Y&R where Scott Sr. was yelling at either Lauren or Sheila and he made this face that kind of looked like Derek's when he gets angry and starts yelling, LOL......it's funny that Derek could almost be labeled as a male Sheila especially when he sort of became psychotic when he was the cocky alpha in Season 2.......At least we know that Hoechlin could probably handle being on Y&R considering he had that "soap Opera" type acting when he was Martin on 7th Heaven.

I also thought that though he is on arrow now that Colton Haynes would have made a great Abbott probably as Kyle......again he just has that "Abbott" look.....and even though I like Hunter King, It would have been fun to see Gage Golightly as Summer....

Oh well....I guess it's a comfort to know that Linden Ashby and Susan Walters who play Stiles's Dad and Lydia's mother were on Y&R as Diane and that Cameron Kirsten guy....at the same time it drives me crazy only because they got to meet and act with the same people who I wish the Teen Wolf crowd could work with.......Of course I want Teen Wolf to be around for a real long time, so unless something happens to change that, better being on well-written supernatural horror comedy show Teen Wolf, then depressingly bad-written Y&R at the moment.

Yeah I don't think we have seen the last of Shelly Hennig's character......I think she would look good with Derek, but they will probably put her with Stiles.....but hey he needs some action....

and yes, I was thinking maybe JMW would be good as Derek's sister Laura Hale.....maybe she didn't die like Cora? haha.

So.....anybody watching Season 3 B with me?.....what do you think?.....Last night's episode was sort of confusing to me, and I honestly kind of hate the darker tone this season has taken.....I guess they wanted dark over more camp like Seasons 1 and 2.

It was nice to See Shelly Hennig on the show last nite.....I wonder if we will see more of her......How funny that they already got her and Felisha Terell who played Kali last season 3 A considering they were both on Days.....It sort of makes me wonder if other soap star would ever appear on the show...

I don't know what JMW's status on B&B is these days but I could totally see her playing some sort of bad-ass character.
