  1. Because there isn't enough drift.... Oh, wait, I've used this already.

I like Goldenboy well enough to watch every week but sometimes that main guy;s accent is all over the place. I don't know why the current TV trend is to hire Aussies and Brits in all these major roles that require a certain accent.

  2. I like Quad for the drama, but she and Mariah have potential to be very annoying. I thought they were trying too hard and I didn't like them using the gay lingo. Kari was fabulous! I expected her to be more quiet, but she's very in your face. That shocks me considering she might end up punched by Quad. She doesn't seem afraid of speaking up AT ALL.

I hated Kari's blown up lips but I give her props for managing her husband's finances.

Simone was the only one I truly liked.

  3. I could see her having success as a Disney girl. Probably not the image she wants, but its definetly one that would best suit her look

Hey Jason Earles is 35 and has been working for Disney for years in steady gigs making good money. He used his young looks to his advantage

The person who really needs slapping is the photographer. The child clearly needs strong direction and he obviously wasn't giving it. He just put her in generic poses, tossed some props at her ("Pick up the apple! Now pick up the gun!") and proceeded to snap away. However much she paid him was a waste of her money.

Styling was awful too. That top, those pants, the tacky heart heels, and the loud nail polish. If the shoot was supposed to look posh it failed miserably.

  4. I think you are overselling Ana. I liked her enough but sh didnt really provide much material to work with. Her divorce and scenes with her daughters gossipping about the other women was boring. She was mainly a fly on the wall and didnt do alot of getting involved. Her contributions were very minimal. Alexa, who got a downgrade to friend, seemed more like a housewife than she was. No, not every woman needs to be turned up and dramatic. Lisa most definetly wasnt and I felt she made for a great addition as a housewife. She had an interesting and relatable personal struggle, as well as got involved in alot of the drama (without being negative and stirring ish up). Lets face it, the cast is huge. 7 women, 8 if you count Alexa. Ana is the most expendable out of that bunch. She knows it which is why she was trying so hard to secure a spot for season 3 at the reunion. It was a last ditch attempt to be relevant

In related news, Adriana is the latest housewife to turn singer

I liked Lisa and I agree Ana is the most expendable out of the cast. She and her daughters were boring. And her two second drama with Karent over that soap star didn't do anything for her.

  5. Haha, I was trying to figure out if RC was in the spotlight yet. Either way, if the show hadn't got cancelled that year I can't imagine the direction the show would have gone without JER.

They might've gotten JG to write it because of all the camp on Sunset Beach.

  6. It's an interesting dynamic. There are fewer roles for black women than for white women in both daytime and primetime, yet primetime offers more opportunities for recurring roles and guest spots. When looking to cast a black female, there is a smaller, more focused pool of black actresses that will probably get seen.

Daytime does a horrible job with roles for non white females.
