  1. Saw the pilot and I did enjoy most of it though there was some dialogue here and there that was very cheesy and not in the fun kind of way. I'll just drop my opinion on a couple of tidbits and give a more in depth review in the fall.

I don't know where people are seeing chemistry between Barry and Caitlin because they had none and she is quite wooden. Cisco was also pretty annoying so overall I'm not impressed by the Star Labs team.

The scenes with Green Arrow I am pretty sure were filmed back when they wanted to do a backdoor pilot. Yeah those scenes were unnecessary and didn't flow. They could've left those on the cutting room floor.

  2. All that episode told me was that the mom was a hoe(which seems to be a recurring theme on The Ark) and that Bellamy was stupid enough to take Octavia out to that party. Waste of flashbacks since it told nothing significant. And for someone who lived on the floor her whole life Octavia has great social skills. It would've been better if they had told us she would sneak out all the time.

  3. Yeah I saw them sometime today. I'm meh on Raven, she's kick ass but I don't really care about her back story.

I wish they could have spread Octavia's / Bellamy's over a few eps. but it really was perfection. I still feel so bad when she looked so scared and lost because she didn't know her way home.

Bellamy and Octavia's backstory didn't really explain much though. It didn't give a reason for why the mother wanted a second child so bad, it didn't mention the father, it had that ridiculous scene of the mom giving birth by herself.

  4. Jasper gets on my nerves. I would enjoy the show a lot more if they killed him and Finn off.

I need more Marie and Lindsey. Eliza is just not as attention grabbing as those two to me and Clarke is too perfect. She's an open book whereas Octavia and Raven have a lot more mystery to them. I'm interested in more of their backstories and hope we get some flashbacks. Like for someone who spent 16 years under the floor Octavia is well socialized. And Raven they hinted that her mother was a drunk and a whore but they didn't touch upon it much. And she had a connection to that Nygel character that we only saw in one episode.

They released this new key art using old promo photos. Monty, Octavia, and Clarke shouldn't have on their wristbands!

  5. Hell no, I mean unless by "fave" you mean Monty, Jasper or Raven which I know you probably don't.

They had the chance to kill off Jasper and didn't I don't think he's in the same category as Raven and Monty. He went from the comic relief nerd to some gun wielding warrior. I consider him one of their faves for real.

Now Octavia is the character I'm surprised they neglected. Marie's been dating Taylor Launter for some time now and she was the lead in two teen movies Lifetime plays constantly. I was surprised they wrote so little for Octavia. She didn't really get a story she just jumped from guy to guy.

  6. It was an okay finale but that awful music during the dramatic walk and the reapers were comically bad. I'm not exactly waiting in anticipation until October. They're definitely going to need to do something actually shocking next season like actually kill off one of their faves to keep my attention during the busy fall. Time to binge watch Firefly.

  7. Hahahahahahaha perfectly put Yeah, that's what the reviewer was saying. She had me cracking up... she's like her name is GLASS... no really, GLASS! I was rolling.

I do agree with you about giving her time and allowing it to tie to the series more so that it'll be easier to understand. Yeah, people said in the beginning of the series that they gave Wells story to Finn.

All the other important teens in the book were named after famous sci fi authors. I don't know who Glass was named after. Her name was the least annoying part of the character though. It was the pining after her ex boyfriend the mechanic after barely escaping death and the whole socialite of The Colony crap that bothered me. It was like they threw in some random caste system that made no sense to make the story more of a dystopia.

  8. I'm pretty sure the series will be a trilogy like most YA books nowadays. Nothing really happened until the very end up the book anyway and everything that happened in the book that wasn't omitted from the show completely happened in the pilot episode. I thought The Selection by Kiera Cass was a bad romance book fronting as dystopia but The 100 was even worse.

The author Kass Morgan explained that she was an editor for Alloy Entertainment and they liked the concept so they decided to develop it into a series while she was still working on the book. The book wasn't even complete yet when they started developing the show. I don't know why they rushed the release of the book instead of retooling it and tying it into the show. I even noticed they are giving away a free signed copy of the book with signatures from different cast members but only 2 of their characters(Bellamy and Clarke) are actually in the book. The book has four POVS Clarke, Bellamy, Wells, and Glass. And Wells is dead and Glass doesn't exist on the show.

I'm glad they left Glass out of the show because there's already Clarke so they really was no need for two privileged blondes and all she did was waltz about The Colony(what they call The Ark in the book) angsting about her ex boyfriend.

  9. Hahahahaha I'm going to miss discussing this show with you. Seriously.

Two bad we couldn't get a twofer ... Jasper & Murphy because I simply cannot deal. I can't stand when he does dumb and obnoxious stuff like S T O P it, please.

Still not over Wells' gone too soon status. Actually tempted to get the book but I dunno.

I don't even know why Jasper was in those scenes where Raven was working on saving Bellamy because he added absolutely nothing! All he did was whine and talk about guns and bombs. I don't buy him as this warrior.

Murphy is probably going to be one of those annoying recurring villains I don't give a damn about.

Don't buy the book. I've read it and even I didn't buy it. I just downloaded a free epub. The show is very loosely based off the book anyone. The very basic concept is the same but other than that their completely different partially because the show was being written before the book was finished. The show is mostly full of original characters that aren't in the book. The book was mostly love triangle hell and it felt like a whole lot of nothing happened on the ground.

  10. They didn't even bother to show Monty. I can't stand Jasper, I was hoping Murphy would kill him. I've disliked that character since they let him live through being speared through the chest (and later killed off another kid the same exact way). Then they tried to force that cliché hot girl/nerdy guy pairing with Octavia that didn't mesh well at all. And finally this warrior angle has him at an all time obnoxious level.

  11. The real funny part about it, that Tyler Perry swear he's doing something wonderful.

This what happen when black people have no drama on tv. I think I'm still going to watch HAHN & Empire.

Because black people are on tv we're supposed to excuse bad writing, acting, and casting.

I'm about to give up on HAHN before Empire starts because it shows no signs of improvement.

  12. Wyatt is NOT gay! Lol, you are the only one trying to make that happen. The show has addressed it and moved on from that. Wyatt and Jeff aren't happening outside of fanfic

Didn't Jeff try to get Wyatt to have sex with him in exchange for the car before Wyatt got arrested? I cant even see how anyone could root for them as couple. Jeffry's obsession is creepy and pathetic.

  13. All this Clarke the new healer crap bored me. I'm tired of her being the only medic. Was there no one else among the 100 delinquents from a privileged background?

Ugh and then Raven banging Bellamy. The same Bellamy who left her for dead when her pod crashed. The same Bellamy who threatened to kill her and actually tried to choke her out.

I was glad The Ark returned this week but there wasn't enough shown.

  14. This weeks episode really lacked The Ark.

I'm also more interested in them developing the Grounders culture and hearing how they survived for so long. Instead of this war that's getting lame already.

    Clarke Griffin= Elena Gilbert

Also this Finn loves Clarke crap is bs. They haven't even been on the ground for 30 days yet and when they has sex it had only been 10 days. He's in lust and their so called deep connection is non existent.

  15. The two actors have chemistry but Lincoln and Octavia were entirely too rushed. These writers don't know how to write couples. They just rush people into lengthy sex scenes. Which btw when did Clarke and Octavia have time to become so experienced? During confinement on The Ark?

This show needs to forgo romantic pairings right now anyway. There's so much more important factors currently.

  16. Eliza is too cookie cutter YA lead for me. It doesn't help that the American accent she puts on for this show sometimes reminds me of TVD's Elena. And Clarke's entire holier than thou aura reminds me of Elena as well. And I wish they would stop with the princess crap. Its kind of demeaning especially when you're trying to make your character out to be some strong woman.

  17. I don't watch, but since you do, what do you think of Bob Morley who plays Bellamy? I loved him on the Australian soap Neighbours.

Bob's an alright actor. Better than Eliza Taylor. The older adults on The Ark upstage everyone in the acting department though.
