“Elizabeth” is described as a Black female in her mid-30s. Described as gorgeous, intelligent, charming and witty, Elizabeth also holds an air of mystery about her. Elizabeth landed a job as a paralegal and began a love affair with Joseph, who was married at the time to Sara—the woman who suggested her husband hire Elizabeth! I LOVE THIS. Elizabeth is the Brooke of the show! LOVE IT. “Diane” has two faces. The one that she shows to the world and one that is reserved for private moments. And beware... the psycho is called Diane. LOVE IT.- Your daily (or nightly) thought
Food poisoning is not a joke. I could barely function today. I still am barely here. I was thinking of dialing for an ambulance this morning.- B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles

This is so fascinating. I am starting to dive into it. Thank you again for sharing.- Your daily (or nightly) thought

I actually never knew about her deleted scene in Rosemary's baby. God, and I thought I knew everything. Thank you a million for this little bit. I am now dreaming of how this scene looked and felt like. I would have loved Joan in Rosemary's Baby. She fits the Satanic undertone amazingly well. I mean... her success story... it could have been a wink-wink-sold-her-soul-to-the-Devil Faustian thing. I would have loved it. Amazing.- The Classic Film Thread
I kinda agree, but I still love the movie. Something about the atmosphere... I like to watch it when I'm alone... in a dark room, under the covers. Makes me feel cozy. I looove the original too.- Joan Crawford
I agree 100 percent on all the points you made. Her last roles were very bad and her acting too, was not at the level she used to deliver. I actually cringe when I watch some of her late movies. There was this movie, Berserk, where she was lit from above in like every scene, I'm sure that was written in her contract, she didn't want to have a bad angle or bad shot. But it created the opposite, eerie effect. I also feel she should have stayed on Hush... How legendary it would have been! With Bette, one more time. Strait Jacket is like... my last favorite movie with her - she gave a performance, even though the movie was cringe. She was great in it. Really sinister and just... delivering. Her career is a bit of a roller-coaster. When she was high - she was up in the stars and when she was down - she was flopping hard.- B&B: August 2024 Discussion Thread
These rumors are disgustingly spread by Brooke haters non-stop. From the minute Krista was out. Like literally the minute she was out they started blaming KKL. Nothing of it is true. KKL has never had an issue with Krista. They actually had amazing chemistry and brought out the best from one-another. Bradley killed that too.- B&B: August 2024 Discussion Thread

I knew I was not the only one. I think the Emmy nomination was the icing on the cake. It probably fu-cked with Brad's ego. In symbolic way it was a statement that Krista knew what she was doing... and he couldn't tolerate that. And probably couldn't bare to HAVE to write something smarter or deal with an actress that had THAT strong opinions. And someone that dared to laugh about the way he was writing. God, how I cringe when I think of this man. I will stop, before I get... passionate.- B&B: August 2024 Discussion Thread
I can say one thing that I've noticed and is just a fruit of my own analysis. Krista was not happy with how Taylor was written. She wanted the character to improve and go in different paths. While she was on, she joked many times about the character and I could feel her frustration and how she wanted to make her better. Just listen to some of her interviews and you'll sense this. I was so happy that finally someone was speaking like that, and so openly, but on the back of my mind, I used to tell myself - Boy, oh, boy, Bradley probably doesn't like all of this... and he is probably finding her hard to work with. I never had any idea back then she would be let off and etc. These were just passing thoughts... but when she did exit... and twitter and the boards were on fire... there were people SPECULATING and talking about alleged seen and heard things behind the scenes (that's why I didn't want to mention it)... it was all about how Krista and Bradley had disagreements about the character and scenes and at times... the energy became very toxic. That's as far as I feel comfortable repeating this, since it's just speculations. I can only say that there were not jealous actresses and things like that. It was Bradley Bell's issue from the beginning. Till the End. Bradley likes people who adore him and like his way of thinking. He writes incredibly cheap stuff and feels inferior when someone questions them... that's why I believe in my deepest of hearts, he started to dislike Krista. I may be wrong. I don't know. That's my take... but it's just an analysis of what I've seen and heard, and not a true statement of truth.- Joan Crawford
