Thorsten Kaye's Ridge would look more at home at Spectra Fashions, not Forrester Creations.

He doesn't look like her belongs in Forrester, sorry. Or anything fashion-related. It is a bad casting choice and for such a main character... shows how clueless Bradley is. Bill Bell created Ridge and would never have agreed, in my opinion, to cast TK as him.

  2. With ratings dropping so much, It should be a slap to the face for Bradley and a lesson to never do this boy who cried wolf type storyline about DYING. Next time when Eric actually is dying... are we GOING TO SEE a repeat of this. Or is it going to be 2 times longer... I am sorry, but I can't stomach another 6 months of is he going to die or isn't he. It's distasteful.

You might be talking about "Reflections of the Mind," which aired on 11/3/1985, during MSW's second season.  Guest stars included Ann Blyth, Ben Murphy, Stacy Nelkin, Esther Rolle, Steven Keats, Martin Milner and Wings Hauser (ex-Greg, Y&R).  What I loved about that episode was how Jessica did not at all think her friend (Blyth) was losing touch with reality; that, in fact, what she saw and heard were very real, and very clearly the work of someone trying to drive her mad.  Now that's a friend, lol!

My god this is it! Thank you million times. I am watching it in bed right now.

  4. It will probably be an unpopular opinion, but I feel Kyle's drama with Mauricio is fake. I think she has plotted to act this whole storyline to keep the interest up, since she has been getting dusty for a while and her housewives presence has become stale. Even in the first episode she is acting like... acting. It's like she is doing everything on purpose to give this vibe that something is wrong. I am sure that if there WAS something wrong WE would never see it... Kyle is so fake and she will never act this way on camera if this is real. My whole being screams FAKE every episode. I can't wait for the happy ending and her crying telling us that you should never stop working on your marriage.

  5. I am sorry but the current Bridge have NO CHEMISTRY. It's been that way ever since TK came on. It's just that... he gives off a vibe of a more... rough around the edges kinda guy... who would never fall in love with this cliche blonde Brooke. Brooke is a lot more sweet to the taste, and sorry, even if she is my favorite pot stirrer, Brooke is syrupy in love. All she does is cry or be idiotically happy. She is not rough around the edges and looks like an ex-high level escort. Her whole vibe is sex and seduction and sugary romance... TK's Ridge doesn't fit in this vibe. When I look at him I feel he would be a lot more interested in a woman like Taylor... or even Katie. Ridge when played by Ronn Moss on the other hand was PERFECT duet with Brooke - he was a male version of her, narcissistic, posh and looking like a hardcore player who knows ever trick in the book. He had the perfect abs and perfect chin and Brooke was the sexy slut from the valley, in pink lingerie. They fed off of each-other's fakeness and narcissism. That's why this couple worked in the past, but DOES NOT WORK since 2012. I am sorry. Brooke needs something a lot different and a more classic type of man. TK's Ridge is too rough and too real for Brooke. She needs someone GOD like to be obsessed with. TK is MILLION times better actor than RM, but he lacks the iconic look. He just feels like a guy you know... a guy who can change a light bulb and fix a broken bike. And at last - they don't look as a pretty couple together.

Y&R viewers were treated to a 20-year classic episode showcasing a lot of nostalgia.

Meanwhile out of all the thousands and thousands of episodes, B&B viewers were treated to a 6-month “classic” all about Ridge seeing Brooke through a glory hole of “destiny”. 😵‍💫

I think Bradley wants to annoy us deliberately.

  7. As a child I was traumatized by an episode in which Jessica was helping a woman, who was seeing her dead husband and hearing him around the house. It was very spooky and I had it recorded on VCR and would re-watch it all the time. Does anyone know which episode this is... in the end it ended up not being paranormal of course.

    B&B

Return Brooke to her origins of poverty due to a major event that happens in her life.

The only way this can happen is through her alcoholism.

    IDEA

Something happens, it could be anything, Brooke kisses the delivery man or her porno leaks in the internet, she sleeps with Liam or... whatever, but Ridge leaves her. AGAIN. And she drinks. A LOT. Ends up in a bar with a strange man, could be the hot waiter... he takes advantage of her weak moment and she dives deep into alcoholism.

She doesn't know he is a crazy fan, who has been watching her for YEARS and has posters of her in her lingerie in his dark apartment. HE MAKES her drink and uses her alcoholism to control her. He makes her dependent and tells her how everyone will be disappointed if they see her now. Brooke is hiding in her house and doesn't even want to see Hope. She is ashamed, but not able to stop. All while he kisses her, has sex with her and tells her he loves her. He fake drinks too, so that she thinks they are drinking together.

BUT he has other MOTIVE too. He makes her sign things under the influence and ends up STEALING all her money and even selling her house, without her even knowing. He texts all her children and even Ridge in this period from her phone.

One day Brooke wakes up on a matrace without covers and she sees the whole house has been cleaned out. He had drugged her the night before and did everything while she was sleeping.

He is nowhere to be seen and there is a knock on the door. Semi drunk Brooke opens up to a real estate agent that tells her he is coming with the new owners to see the house for renovation. Brooke is shocked and realizes soon, with the help of everyone else that ALL her money, and everything she owned has been stolen from her and the hot waiter is nowhere to be seen.

Police tell her he has been scouting the area and working at that restaurant to look for her and he has been planning this for months.  He is a known scammer and is probably now spending the money in Dubai or something.

Everyone is disappointed in Brooke and won't help her till she goes into alcoholism treatment. Brooke ends up living in her childhood house, old and dusty, full of old pictures and spiderwebs.

While she is there, memories go through her head and she start getting flashbacks from 40 years ago - Caroline sitting in her living room, her sisters and brother... Ridge taking her out for Christmas. She cries and cries and realizes she has destroyed her life WAITING FOR Ridge to love her. She realizes he never did and that he would always leave her. She blames even her alcoholism on him. In a classic Brooke fashion, she smashes all the pictures with him, stares into the screen and tell us that this is just the beginning. Tells us she will be back on top and Ridge will be the one on the bottom.

Parallel we see Taylor and Ridge happy together... and again bitter and angry Brooke throwing out her vodka and deciding that if she managed to climb up the ladder once, she will do it again.

Brooke is cleaned up, sober with a beautiful corporate outfit. She calls her daughter Hope and asks for some money.  Tells her she has stopped drinking. Hope reluctantly agrees. Brooke stares at the screen of a laptop and The Forrester Creations sign. She smiles.

    - Forrester Creations will be mine, again. And you Ridge... you left me at my most vulnerable. Now is time for payback.

I am sorry, I was really bored. :D

Ok. Your original post had no caption or commentary, this made me wonder your intention with the clip - given your username and avatar is directed at Brooke.

A lot of times people post clips without commentary. It's a classic scene, that's why I put it in this topic. FYI, Brooke is my favorite character and as much as I like to troll her, I love her. Happy Holidays. Don't forget to read the Bible.
