  1. Robin Christopher was on Another World from 1994–97 as Lorna....Felicia's daughter. So Linda's played Robin's mother twice.
  2. I remember that! I liked when she loved when she on the Nanny. I think Murphy Brown was on that night and she was on there too. I still miss her!
  3. I don't think she went to the show Port Charles. She went to General Hospital. I don't remember her going to "Port Charles" the show. I was just making an example.
  4. it's funny that this clip is the only time that the real Niki seemed to come out from the whole 1985/86 storyline. She had started drinking more and she even mentioned Vinnie Wolek for the first time during this storyline.
  5. And don't forget poor Jessica to Victoria and Clint Buchanan on One Life to Live. We assume for the first 14 (well 18 in soap land) years of her life that she was the prize daughter of Viki and Clint. then in 2001 they made it that Alison Perkins switched the babies and Jessica was not Clint and Viki's...Natalie was. Then in 2002 they decide to make Jessica and Natalie twins by different fathers...still not Clint's daughter. Then in 2012 on the final episode they finally made Jessica Viki and Clint's daughter again. I'm just glad Ske mentioned Pine Valley.
  6. This christmas episode was sad but also helped a little since we won't be seeing a Christmas in Llanview 2012. Like the song says, "I'll be 'home' for christmas....if only in my dreams." Although it was funny when Clint told Tina, "Viki would never divorce me in a million years." Sorry Clint but in 9 years You are divorced again and this time it's from Viki! and it will take you another 17 years to get her back.
  7. As much as i really got into Jersey this summer, Beverly Hills is pretty great! It's the first i ever watched because it was from Beverly Hills. My favorite is Lisa Vandepump. Although looking at her husband, i can see why she only "does it" on holidays and birthdays.
  8. I think by now it must be in the early summer of 2009 sometime. Right around the time Jessica found out that her baby was really Star Manning's baby and Bess came out and took them to Nash's parents house to hide.
  9. Does anyone know how much of a role Troy had in the early 1990's?? Allegedly after Carla left in 85 and then Ed in 1986, Paul Raunch didn't get anymore black people on the show for a while. But i know Troy was on the show in 1990 when Megan was accused of murdering Michael Grande. Does anyone know anything about him? Did he stay long. Everyone credits Hank Gannon as the first imporant black person OLTL got on the show after Carla and Ed left but i know Troy was on. Wasn't Sheila on too back then?
  10. I think the show decided to replace him. they were going into a new direction with Victor...IE: Dorian. it's so weird that Strudwick and Graves died within months of each other in the same year. strudwick died in January 1983 and then Graves died in June. 1983
  11. I'm thinking that the 1985 early Niki Smith (before she was put on the stand) is who Niki would be if everybody had left her alone. Maybe if she did take over and stay out...go away from Llanview, she would turn back into the nicer Niki because she wouldn't be surrounded by people who wanted Viki back.
  12. Yes that's what i was refering to. Erika Slezak said that they were right in the middle of the Marcy Wade story at the end of 1971 and Agnes Nixon who was still running things i guess (right before she jumped ship to devote full time to AMC), Agnes said, "Skip Christmas" because they were at the height of the storyline. I assume that's also what happend in 2002, they were at the height of the Mitch Laurence storytline so the producer said skip christmas. Then they did a New Years Eve episode where Troy proposed to Nora but Viki summoned her to Llanfair because Natalie was still married to Mitch. BTW, anyone who doesn't think Erika deserved to win all her emmy's, take a look at this string of scenes from 1985. she won back to back emmy's in 84/85 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skVUlRP8E7s&feature=channel&list=UL
  13. One life to live had a lot of wonderful Christmas memories over the years. I haven't seen any christmas stuff of the 70's but from the 80's on they've been pretty special. remember all the years they had the christmas pagent at St. James church. Erika slezak's real life kids were in it once or twice. then they had the tree lighting cermony a couple of years. then almost every many of the cast came back to Llanfair to celebrate with Viki and whoever she was with at the time. very special. I don't know who was Producer in 2002 but that was the only year to my knowledge (except for what Erika said about 1971) that they did not have a christmas episode. They were dealing with Mitch Laurence comming back and decided to skip christmas. They did do New Years eve though.
  14. I don't know. Maybe i've been invested too much in these fab "Clint and Viki lost story" clips but i can see them recapturing the magic they once had now that all the time has passed. finding their way back to each other to be the "Joe and Ruth" of Llanview. lord knows between Natalie and Jessica, they will have their share of troubles but i think there marriage would stay real strong this time. They both know what it was like when they lost the magic and they will work extra hard to keep it. It puts me in mind of a song :"never gonan let you go" by Sergio Mendez. Every time i've heard it recently it has made me think of Viki and Clint. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwKxfHK92IM
  15. I've been watching how they are going to kill off Susan Flannery's character on Bold and Beutiful and i'm just so greatful we One Life to live people didn't have to see it. Obviously i would have loved for the show go to on so i could see Erika Slezak for 10 or more years playing Viki but then ultimatly she would either retire or die eventually. Like Erika, Susan's character on Bold and beutiful Stephanie had a cancer storyline a few years ago so now that she's leaving, they are doing a story where the charater gets the diease again and dies of it. right now they are in the middle of a week of shows where she is planning a "good bye" party and she's hand deleverying many of the invitations(so they could do flashbacks that day of her with the character.) I'm just soooo greatful they didn't do that with Viki. It would be so hard to watch. Stephanie's was hard today with her son, i can not even imagine how tough it would be for devoted Viki fans to watch episodes like this about her. We Viki fans can rest in the knowledge that she is happily with Clint. I'm sure they will have problems (she might even visit heaven a few more times) but they wil happily be living the rest of their lives together in Llanfair. it's not easy to not watch new episodes of Viki but at least we know she's a survivor and will continue to survive. we ddn't have to watch her die...and stay dead.
  16. not to turn this into a GH thread but does anyone watch Todd, Starr and Tea on General Hospital? I think Blair will be comming back for a few episodes soon. sort of like when some of the Another World characters people went to As The World Turns for a while like Jake and Cass.
  17. i'm just greatful to see this story at all. I started watching in the early 1990's so i've only seen a few clips of Niki with the red wig. Even the stuff on youtube...most of it was of later Niki or during the trial. Thanks to whoever is making this "Viki & Clint love story", i'm really getting to see Niki in the red wig and Viki falling apart because of it. Although i have to laugh at some of Viki's 80's outfits and big jewlery (as Viki) and Viki's big hair in some scenes. LOL I too loved the DID story of 1995. It was amazing from begining to end (although i thought it was more amazing when i saw it years later on youtube without all the other storylines getting in the way.) but i thought this 1985 storyline had a lot of "steps/layers" too. starting with Tina looking for her father and then Niki coming out without Viki realizing it. Then when Jenny Renoldie got involved. then when Clint finally found out that Niki was back. then when Niki took over completely after trial. and then when Niki was pretending to be Viki... fooling everyone except Tina. then when Clint found out it was Niki and tried to woo her to bring Viki back. then at the end when Viki finally came back and everyone except Clint thought she was still Niki playing Viki because Niki had been doing it for months. I can't wait to see more of this story. and like i said before, it's so much better without all the other lame storylines that took up airtime.
  18. I just mentioned the whole Niki/Vinnie thing a page ago. I thought it was strange that Niki was so "ga-ga" over Harry "back 15 years ago" but back then she was very madly in love with Vinnie Wolek. Unless she came out after Vinnie realized it was Viki and Viki was in the process of getting help. Niki could have come out during that time (off screen) and had a few dates with Harry O'neil...knowing Vince would turn her over to Joe Riley so he could get Viki some help. that's always possible. Your other question... it did feel weird that Harry didn't know Viki was really Niki. I could understand "15 years ago" because he didn't know Victoria very well and only saw her a few times when she came into the plant with Victor. and of course Niki had the red wig, crazy clothes and thick make-up. but i thought it was weird that he didn't put it together in 1985 since he worked closly with Viki in 1984. I don't think he ever knew because he was murdered before most poeple found out about NIki. Of course remember Niki fooled Clint (in 1985) and Ben Davidson (in 2002) by pretending to be Viki for months without them knowing it was Niki being Viki. Niki even slept with Ben and he had no idea it wasn't his wife. Part of the reason Clint started suspecting something was up was because Niki wouldn't sleep with him.
  19. yes in these 1985 clips it seems that way but Niki ran off with Vinnie Wolek when Viki was going to marry Joe in 1969. She wanted to be with Vinnie until he wanted marriage from her. that's how they got Viki back out. Actually Viki told this story to Jessica right before she married Antonio because Jessica was afraid tess could come out during the wedding and run off with Nash, just like Niki did to Viki.
  20. Do you think that if they kept Vinnie Wolek on the show in 1985, they would have played the Niki Smith /Harry O'Neil story. She didn't even mention Vinnie when she was with Harry. but Vinniy was a very big part of her life in the late 1960's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbPbCukxkGo&feature=channel&list=UL
  21. I beleive Jerry's been doing that for a lot of years now. I mean since he was on Guiding Light. It was nice to see some old Guiding Light people come to it. I still remember when Blake and Ross were "Bloss", a very popular couple.
  22. I have had the same thoughts over the years. I have come to beleive Victor had a twin brother that maybe he kept in the attic (hey if Viki can keep both Ben and Todd there for long periods of time, Victor could have kept his brother there.) My storyline would be Viki going into an unknown room of the house that is rarely used and finds a birth cetificate hidden in the back of a closet that confirmed Victor had a twin. Viki then realizes it was the twin who sexually abused her for years. He was the one sneaking up to her bedroom and doing what he did. Yes Victor liked young girls and built the secret room but it was his twin who abused Viki. of course Viki was only seven when he started doing it so she beleived it was her father since she knew nothing of him having a twin and she split into the alters because of it. maybe Victor found out about what happend and vanished his brother to that farm house before it could be revealed. Meaning it was the brother who wanted to cut out Jessica's or Natalie's heart to give to him. and he's the one who died in 2003. Perhaps Dorian knew but hasn't told Viki because she's still afraid of Jean Randolph. Maybe her saying "if it was Victor" meant that she was trying to feel Viki out on if she knew anything of the brother. Perhaps she was going to tell Viki the truth before Nigel came into the room and then she decided to just let it be since Viki flew to Texas later that day and Dorian didn't hear from her for months. That means Viki would have to come to the realization that her alter Tori killed Victor for something he didn't do. and he was really the loving father she always beleived he was until she found out about the abuse. he wasn't perfect. He did have his eye for the young ladies like Irene Manning and he did father Tony (from someone else), Tina, Todd and Victor Junior but that was maybe his biggest faults. but he wasn't a monster, he was just a flawed man who kept trying to keep control of his image and his private sexual urges (like Bill Clinton!)
  23. From what i've seen...not really. I think Robin knew the4 back story and beleived she/Dorian killed Victor but on screen it was treated as ancient history until this 1982 conversation when Viki brought it up again. and then after that it was dismissed again for a long time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjoBYMwGWig
  24. I don't know, i thought the whole trial story was great! You had Ethel and Lee and then you had the Bo/Nora story and of course Viki/Dorian feud. then at the end you had the mysterious David Vickers (before he became a boob.) I especially liked Dorian and Viki's testimony's...against each other.
  25. yes i beleive both Ethel Crawford and Victor's butler Lee Chapin were around during the time of Victor's death. I too thought they were "made up" characters for the trial. Lee must have left right after Victor died and then Dorian hired Herron who stayed at Llanfair until the very early 1990's. Then we had Lois who was just a maid but she sort of got a promotion when Herron left. and then in the last years when Clint moved in...so did Nigel. He became the Llanfair staff.
