Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
TP will have to find it in him to actually start having Amanda not give a crap what her momma and daddy wants and I don't think it's possible. It's just odd that TP has felt the need to have none of the "Haves" offspring to have any sort of inner drive/need of being freed from that privileged background. Wyatt's an addict and really dumb. Amanda lives in a sad and never ending world of self hatred, lack of self-esteem and self harm. Jeffrey's tied to doing what Veronica wants and living his sad and creepy life in denial. It shouldn't just be Candace, having the sense to break free from her past family life.

All the Jeffrey/Wyatt scenes are painfully laughable. I still don't see or think that Wyatt and Creepy will share any sort of mutual kiss with each other. I think TP will script something, in which Wyatt gets drunk or Jeffrey gets him drunk and then tries to kiss him. Either way, Wyatt's going to throw a punch.

It's interesting, that the one soap staple Tyler hasn't touched on, is the pairing that the audience could support in wanting to see them together as a couple. Candy and Jim Wyatt and Jeffrey Jim and Celia Benny and what's her face

I would be saddened if Jeffrey doesn't have a "Psycho" moment with Veronica. I don't feel any sort of sympathy for him, because he's such a creep. He's using his position as a rehab "therapist", to basically be involved in his obsession's life 24/7. The way that he went off on the girl and then the desperate call to his ma? But, Wyatt needs more "proof" of Jeffrey's true feelings/intentions/plans for him. What sort of "therapist" sleeps in the same bedroom as their patient? There should be, at least two or three guest bedrooms in that house, yet Jeffrey's sleeping on the couch? In Wyatt's bedroom? That clip was funny, Cheap.

Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
It took me awhile to realise that Kathryn's standing set is always the mansion and she only interacts with Hannah, Veronica and a little screen time with Jim. Maybe Perry didn't have enough money in the budget to build a nice restaurant set?

Hell yes. I know that Kathryn says she has doctor's appointments, but she's never out of her mansion. Shouldn't she have lunches and teas scheduled at whatever private club, her family has joined? Have her meet Veronica somewhere? Show up at Amanda's new place?

LOL. Sadly, I do think that Jeffrey will be the "sad, lonely and in denial" guy for a bit longer. I don't think that Perry has the plan of Wyatt slowly falling for Jeffrey. I think, we'll see some new guy introduced, that has an instant attraction to Jeffrey right before the first season (or series) finale.

That scene was driving me nuts. Crystal and the actress, who portrays Hannah are the strongest performers on this show. I hope that both of their careers are relaunched. ETA: The possibility of Wyatt and Jeffrey being a couple would be capitalized on, if the show was in the hands of another EP and writer.

It's inconsistent, because there was nothing to slowly (over the first three episodes) set up as to why Celine was so damn bent out of joint over Hannah touching Jim's things, her getting close to Kathryn or that the other former maid talk about her, behind her back. It was all in that one long ass scene and that was it. We didn't even get follow up in another scene between Celine and Hannah. It was just dropped.

Anna believes that Patrick is capable of doing anything, if the end result is that he's in control. She knows that Dodger was in love with Texas and with her marrying Will, that Patrick would have killed her, in revenge for breaking their son's heart.

Will did kill Texas. No one knows that it's him or that he can actually walk.

IMO, Kirkwood will never bring Craig Dean back to the show, with the original actor or a recast. I think, McDean is over and done with for him. Remember, he was the one, who okayed the scene of JP's return, in having him chase after Craig, on a bus with a sunset on it. Sadly, Kieron Hobbs had no other role to play on Hollyoaks, once Kirkwood was done with his contract, back in 2008.

I don't remember. It was weeks ago.

That scene, was after JP and Matthew finally came back to town. Doug was pissed, that JP didn't tell him about why he left town and he wasn't going to let him disregard his feelings anymore. This was after Doug had a talk with Ste in the deli and Ste said some BS about being concerned for him, but his tune changed, once the topic of the club and Brendan Brady popped up.

Oh, you're talking about the rubbish thug Robbie. I'm glad Sandy told him he had to leave for a bit, to get himself together. I hope Lindsey tells Joe about the attempted rape by Paul. Paul needs his ass whipped. Ste's continuing on his neverending cycle of self-destruction is boring, but it has to happen. If not, some folks would rage about him being over Brendan to damn quickly and cheapening their relationship.

Yeah. That's what I got from that scene as well. Especially the aftermath of Sinead, still in her outfit from the night before, the bruises on her face and shoulder. That guy, was determined to get more than just his money back from her. The buildup for Esther and Tilly is very lovely and something that is nice to see on any soap these days. Esther, has been so lonely for so long, that she's rightfully hesitant about trying to pursue anything romantic, with someone that has hurt her (unintentionally in the past). While Tilly doesn't want to rush anything with Esther, but she feels that they have something that is worth taking a risk. Jen put her through through the ringer, in their affair, so it's great that Tilly's not sworn herself off letting herself be open for another chance at love.

Well, let's see if it works for casting season 4 for Emmett, Claire, Neil, etc.

. Now, that's going to be crazy and fitting for both of those characters.

Sinead's baby daddy is dearly departed Rhys. As for those punches, SoapgirlUk, they were all punches of love. We just don't understand or get how "epic" Stendan's love for each other, and we should disregard how Brendan shouldn't have abused Ste for so long. It was all "epic", so it made the abuse "different".
-

Ditto, CarlD2. I just can't watch that storyline (or any storyline) that focuses on Brendan/or Ste, until the show stops focusing on the abuser and "his problems", while making fodder for what Ste's been through with letting himself be involved with that man. And yes, these two characters will never be the "saintly gays" of US based soaps, but I just don't find entertainment in domestic violence, no matter how "hot" the portrayers may be in the fictional storyline.

Wow....so are we back in the 50s? It's like Ste got 'pinned' by wearing Brendan's cross. I'm surprised Ste's not going around wearing one of the Double B's blazers.
-
Hollyoaks: Discussion Thread
What does the wearing a cross represent for Ste being Brendan's property?! It sounds like one of those fangirl things that only makes sense in that fandom, so that they're convienced things are going their way. Like when Brian gave Justin a DRAWER in his apartment (on QAF US). It meant that Brian had also given Justin his heart. Or, when on ATWT, Noah will be so damn judgemental towards Luke, whenever he did something "bad" in order to help himself or others with something they wanted. Yet, it's okay for Luke to do things to benefit Noah.

It doesn't matter, Carl. As long as Dodger has onscreen scenes with his shirt off, he'll be considered sexy and hot. He really is the "British Ford cousin" for Hollyoaks, because that's exactly how the Fords got started on OLTL. Has he dumped a bucket of water over himself yet?
