The Wednesday episode featuring Spencer's memorial was the worst-rated one of week.

GH ratings went up four straight weeks, and then down three weeks in a row. What do you think caused the viewers to tune out?

GH down two weeks in a row after rising for four weeks. Not the position GH should be in heading into February sweeps.

Friday's best scene was Sasha and Cody hanging out with Maxie and Spinelli. Spinelli is the only partner for Maxie that I can accept. Sasha and Cody are one of my favorite couples on the show. Will the new writers keep these two pairings? I fear that both couples might end up leaving town.

Avery Pohl was removed from the credits today.

I believe that they buried personal possessions of the supposedly dead. While I loved the Heather scene, I wish Esme was alive and Heather had died.

Now that Spencer is no longer around, Trina should be backburnered. Her screen time should go to Kristina. Kate Mansi is a good actor and Tabyana Ali is not.

Today's episode was very sad and I could watch it 100 times. I was crying.

Laura has demanded that he atone for Esme's kidnapping. He must do this in order to be her son and Ace's father.

I am glad that Laura had Nikolas arrested. He should confess, plead guilty, and take the penalty while Laura and Kevin raise Ace.

Is it possible that Avery Pohl could remain on contract and get a new role? The end date would then only apply to Esme.

Esme's last month was her best since July 2022 and the first time since March that she made it to double digit episodes. Avery Pohl was still listed in the credits with the contract players on Friday.

Joss called Cam to tell him that Spencer is dead, and SOD is reporting that William Lipton will be back for Spencer's funeral. I much prefer Cam over Spencer. I hope that Cam hangs around afterward.

I am afraid that the new writers will abandon the Molly character. She might be tainted by HP's controversy and killed off.

The New York Post is reporting on AP's departure. Do they normally report soap opera cast changes?

Last month it was reported here that NAC would not be coming back from his break and was leaving for good. His break is happening now. Do those posters still think that he is done for good?

Was Avery Pohl fired, or did she want to leave?

Spencer and Esme fell off the boat but the police found no bodies. I think Esme succeeded with her kidnapping. I think she had someone helping her, and they are now holding Spencer prisoner.

Esme was great in these scenes. Spencer and Trina weren't. Spencer could have killed Esme but he believed the lies that Esme was spewing and allowed himself to be tied up. After Trina came to save Spencer and knocked Esme out, they were cowards and ran away without tying Esme up or locking the door. They also didn't take the syringe and Trina dropped the wrench. They let Esme get up and chase them.

Here is my list of characters I want to get rid of. Marshall Stella Gregory Trina Portia Carly Ava Maxie Olivia Leo Drew Dex Nikolas I am on the fence with Spencer. If I enjoy the show during Spencer's coming absence, then I will not want him back. Esme in the last two months has been far more enjoyable than at any point between April and November.

BJ's heart should give out. Maxie should die. Then Mac, Felicia, and Cody can raise her kids.

Here is what I think: I think that Kevin will wake up believing that he is Ryan in Kevin's body. He will not press charges against Esme for hitting him and seek to actively help her. It is better to have Ryan in Kevin's body because Kevin has two hands. Esme will not run away and hide. She will advance and confront her foes. I think that Esme used her credit card to buy the bus ticket to Toronto to divert the police. She planted the letter from Maggie for the police to find. She then stole The Invader's credit card and used it to buy a plane ticket to Paris. She flew in the same plane that took Spencer and Trina to Paris but sat in a different section. She is stalking them right now. Esme will be responsible for Spencer's departure from the show on January 31. Esme knows she can't find Nikolas on her own. Laura searched for months and couldn't find him. Esme wants to murder Spencer in order to bring Nikolas out of hiding. I think Spencer's "death" will be similar to Esme's "death" in 2022 when she fell of the parapet and was missing for two months. I think that Spencer will be back in April. Posters in this discussion have stated that NAC won't be returning after he finishes his Netflix show. If that is the case then show will probably recast Spencer over the interim. This show's ratings will continue to rise with Spencer's departure and Jason's return. Spencer and Trina's trip to Paris from January 25-31 takes place two years after the ski trip during which Esme drugged Trina and made the sex tape.

Fans of Lexi Ainsworth only wanted a Kristina who was on once or twice a month and had no storyline. Kate Mansi is having the surrogacy storyline while romancing Blaze. Lexi was excellent as Teen Kristina. Kate is better as early 30s Kristina.
